Malcolm was enraged; angered by the fact that he had seen Satan with his very 2 eyes and he was powerless in the face of the fallen angel. He could not do anything when Satan came forward and communicated with Lavi telepathically, and he didn't attack when Satan finally revealed his true self in front of mere humans all for the sake of his lost Gatekeeper. His fury grew when he saw that that accursed Gatekeeper awakened from his eternal slumber, and his mind quickly went back to reality.

"NO!" with a shout of command, Malcolm summoned more angelic demons to do his bidding.

Lavi covered the still sleepy Allen with his body as the demon sliced through thin air. Tyki gave a powerful punch into the armor and the metal broke under the heavy pressure. Lavi pulled out his hammer just in time with the defensive Noahs, who were surrounding them with their own weapons in check.

"Why the hell are you in Hell, Lavi?!" Allen shouted after gaining back his full capacity. He saw the shocking battlefield of what remained of Hell and the fighting that took place. After sensing that their prime Gatekeeper had awakened, the Noahs ran to the struggling Neah's side to help in the war against Central's demons. Lavi was the only one that stayed by Allen's side, who had already casted Crown Clown readily around him. Lavi swung his hammer upright to smash into another demon, and he pulled Allen closer by the waist and thus making the younger male blush lightly.

"I've come to get you, what else?!" Lavi quickly pecked Allen on the side of his forehead and chuckled lightly at Allen's flustered state.

"Lavi! Allen! Over here!" The duo heard a shooting fiasco from the right side, and they saw the Noahs huddled together as they defended each other from the demons. The Earl was waving his umbrella around as a signal before entering the battle again.

Lavi was running alongside Allen to reach the other Noahs, but Allen was still too weak from the long sleep he had. Upon seeing Allen's pace faltering behind, Lavi sheathed his hammer back into its open holster and lifted the lighter male using bridal style.

"L-Lavi!" Allen's blush came back with a vengeance as it covered Allen's pale cheeks with a vibrant red color. Lavi tucked Allen in securely before running in breakneck speed once again, making sure he wouldn't drop the precious cargo in his arms. Jasdero and Devit covered Lavi's tracks as the other demons sensed the arrival of the majestic Gatekeeper, and the Noahs were having their hands full with the Central's demons that wanted to kill the weakened Allen.

"Go! I'll handle these lesser demons!" Neah commanded before leading his own demons against the Central's puppets. Lavi placed Allen down safely down and the younger Noah was immediately bombarded with the rough arms of Tyki.

"Enjoying yourself, little shounen?"

Allen only smiled brightly at the comforting hug from his fellow guardian and Master, "It could be better," Allen returned the hug with his own.

"HOLD ON~" the Earl shouted as he clapped his hands together and formed a purple magic circle below the Noahs' fort.

As the wave of demons charged at the Noahs, the magic circle glowed brightly when the Earl activated his magic. Malcolm raged onwards as the Noahs started to fade away and he threw his sword straight at Allen. But the weapon had not reached its mark in time, and fell sullenly to the bloodied ground below. The Central mastermind roared his defiance as he charged his own magic circle.

Lavi felt the solid ground once again and saw that they were transported to the very front of the Main Gate, where the giant Gate was still in shambles and it was lying broken without its true Gatekeeper.

"Watch out!"

Sheril pulled Lavi out of the way from an oncoming sword. As Sheril shouted in pain for the sword slice, the Noahs quickly went into battle mode to face their new enemy.

"What have you done to yourself, Malcolm?" Lavi whispered solemnly as he saw the new figure that was Malcolm; with an angel's armor as white as his feathers, Malcolm could be the very mimic of an archangel in the time of war. His left arm had turned completely into a malformed shield that had blue veins jutting out from it and his right arm held a sword that could easily slice a mountain into pieces without qualms. Malcolm was wearing a helmet with 2 sky-blue feathers lying side by side, showing everyone that he was a descendant from the high heavens.

"What I've done? Can't you see, Lavi? I've become…. An angel!" Malcolm opened his wide wings and feathers came out flying. His voice now sounded gurgled as if he was choking on his own blood, the golden helmet echoing his every word like a prophecy.

But Lavi shook his head sadly and unsheathed his hammer once again, "No, Malcolm… You've turned into a demon,"

The Noahs took that as a start and ran towards the newly-formed Malcolm with everything they had. Lulubell stayed by the shadows to shoot her frosted arrows precisely while Skinn charged bullheadedly into Malcolm. Sheril used his powers to bound Malcolm down and Road used her illusions to help her father even further. The Earl and Tyki were also making their own efforts into felling this mighty enemy, their attacks straight and strong as the twin's guns shot rounds after rounds into the demon's armor. Lavi defended himself as Malcolm swerved his sword around, causing an air attack to slice the sky. The Noahs backed away to give themselves space, weary of this new enemy in which they knew nothing about.

"MALCOLM!"

Allen placed his 2 hands into the ground and his white gloves glowed bright red, crackling. Like Prince Neah's power surge that omitted black shadows, Allen's dominance over red lightning was never to be questioned by any living or dead dwellers. The red lightning crackled into life as it flowed through the ground and sending shock waves that could murder someone in cold blood. The magic seal that Sheril casted upon Malcolm was still in effect, and the man turned demon could do nothing as the red jaws of intense lightning came to swallow him whole.

After the smoke had cleared, Malcolm was seen to be on his 1 knee as he swayed in his step. The leading demon let out a giant roar of his own before charging up, making the Noahs go into the offensive to stop Malcolm. Lavi grabbed onto Allen's shoulder to get the younger male's attention as the other Noahs fought valiantly against the enlarged demon.

"You have to close to Main Gate, Allen! It's the only way to stop Malcolm!"

Allen crossed his arms across his chest as a copy style of the cocky Tyki. He arched an eyebrow behind that silvery mask as he made a frown of his own, "I'm not the Gatekeeper anymore, Lavi,"

That took Lavi by surprise. He let Allen's shoulder go and Allen was tempted to go and support his Masters in the battle. The Black Order soldier shook Allen back to him, "what are you talking about?! Of course you're the Gatekeeper! Who else could it be?!"

"Think carefully, Lavi. Think of everything you know about the Gatekeeper. Think, Lavi, I know you can do it!" Allen said with all the dignity of a young nobleman.

"How am I supposed to think in a time like this?! Are you bloody kidding me!? This isn't-"

Lavi's words and thoughts came to a full screeching stop as he felt his lips being closed by another pair of lips. Allen's kiss was soft and comforting, not to mention refreshing. Lavi's eye closed automatically as he concentrated on the warm feeling of Allen's pale lips, making him cup Allen's cheek and the back of his head as he deepened the kiss intensely. Their heartbeats tuning into one another, singing the song of rejoicing as they had found its other half.

Allen reluctantly parted the kiss; his forehead touching Lavi's sweaty one as their panting breath mingled in the cold air. Allen gave a lighter kiss on the forehead of his loved one with a small smile on his face, "maybe that would help you think better,"

Lavi calmed himself down as he leaned against the short male, his eye still closed from the surprise kiss. He felt Allen caressing his cheek lovingly as the once Gatekeeper whispered attentively in his ear, "A Gatekeeper has to have mastered all 7 Gates without falling into their Gate Masters' temptation. A Gatekeeper is one who is deemed worthy to obtain all 7 Gate Marks, and is able to bear the Hell's responsibilities that comes with a living, breathing heart,"

After he spoke his piece, Allen released Lavi to his thoughts and joined the furious battle against Malcolm. Lavi gritted his teeth as he frustratingly hurried over Allen's words. He had thought that if Allen was awake, then he would close the Gate and everything would be fine. But it would seem that Fate has other difficulties lying in wait for him. Lavi mused closely with his mind open to new discoveries. A Gatekeeper has to successfully advance through all 7 Gates to obtain his ultimate power over the Main Gate… A Gatekeeper has to have full control over the 7 wild Masters, and is able to carry the7 Masters' Marks without fail. And... A Gatekeeper has to be one with a dead soul but a living heart that still beats. Lavi widen his eye in astonishment as he clenched his fists tightly. Putting his hammer back into the holster, he instinctually called out for the Main Gate's power and the broken Gate sang back into life as it glowed bright red and orange.

I am the Gatekeeper of Hell

As if the Gate heard the acknowledgement, the arch that was etched with demonic figures began to glow too. One by one the figures revived itselves as Lavi murmured in an unknown language, not knowing that each Gate Master's Mark was coming back into his right arm where it truly belonged. As the First Gate Mark appeared permanently onto Lavi's upper arm, the Earl powered himself up and attacked with renewed vigor. Road released her full potential as she proudly looked at her Gate Mark on Lavi's right arm, and the twin's guns spat new bullets when their Gate Mark shone brightly. Lulubell had the gale to laugh as her bow was notched and arrows iced, and Skinn enhanced his own powers as his Gate Mark shown itself on Lavi's arm. Working together in perfect sync was the 2 noblemen, and Tyki smirked as he supported Sheril with all his powers. Lavi's right arm glowed brightly as all 7 Gate Marks returned, and he fell to his knees as he felt the strength flowing through him. The Main Gate rang out as it was awakened from its slumber.

He felt a light support through his soul, seeing that Allen was also on his hands and knees beside him with a glowing magic circle. Allen's Crown Clown blasted its full command over the Main Gate as the white cape covered its mage protectively.

"I am Allen Walker, son of Satan and once heir to the throne of Hell. With my claim, I command you, OBEY YOUR NEW GATEKEEPER!"

The magic circle sang out its sorcery, the figures now dancing as real magic woke them up. With a loud cry, Lavi slammed his hands onto the ground alongside Allen as the 7 Gate Marks burn with incantation. Ahead were the Hell demons trying to escape the underworld, their running picking up pace. The Main Gate creaked slowly into life, and then faster as it began moving to do its new Gatekeeper's bidding. The Main Gate closed its 2 giant doors as the big portal to Hell was slammed shut just in time to keep the demons at bay, where they were meant to be until the ends of time and space. It let out a loud bang and the glowing figures dimmed into a yellow glow.

"You finally figured it out, haven't you?" Allen murmured, smiling triumphantly as the Noahs shouted victory behind them.

Lavi smiled smugly as he put on an innocent face. He pulled Allen closer and their faces came so close to each other that they could taste each other's exhaled breaths.

"I think I need more persuasion to convince me that this isn't a dream,"

Allen laughed softly with such a carefree tone; making Lavi's heart beat loudly at the familiar happiness that was infectious. Lavi hugged Allen's waist as they kissed, this time absent of panicking and shock and still the ever lingering presence of warmth and love and hope and everything goddamn worth dying for!

"I love you," Allen confessed with an angelic voice too pure to be tainted by the likes of a mere human.

But Lavi was no longer just a mere human. He was a Walker, a person who can communicate with the living and still command loyally with the dead. He had survived Hell and all its 7 Gates, had overcome his fears and obstacles, and thus donning the 7 Gate Marks with nothing but pride. He stared at Satan in the face and closed the Gate that started the apocalypse. No, Lavi was definitely not a mere human. He was the Gatekeeper, prime leader to the 7 Masters of the 7 Gates.

And lover to the one Allen Walker.

"I love you," Lavi finally said his deepest thought that had gnawed his heart since the beginning.

The Noahs came a-crowding to congratulate their new family addition with smiles and laughs. Lavi pulled Allen close, never letting him go even when Tyki tried to pry him away. The bustling scene made Lavi laugh with joy as took in his new family with open arms and received everything in return.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" Malcolm cried out, his wings tattered and his armor broken by the powered Masters.

Lavi came forward, making the Masters weary of their new family member. With a comforting smirk that told the Noahs what he was about to do, the 7 Masters and Allen stepped back to the side as Lavi summoned his Main Gate perfectly. The Main Gate cracked as it opened its doors by magic, and Malcolm's body began moving on its own towards the hungry demons behind the doors.

While the Noah family watched closely with the sense of achievement, the new Gatekeeper spoke in a demonic voice as the guilty person was carted away into Hell to face his well-deserved judgment,
