marvel characters aint mine

Every single one in the unit couldn't utter a single word. They were startled, but also pitied the goddess at the same time. No one dared to make a single sound, but then they were caught off guard by a random ring of the door bell.

Hawkeye decided to open the door and there it beholds a pizza boy with six boxes of pizza on hand. Clint quickly reached for his money and paid. He satisfyingly looked at the boxes and closed the door behind him.

Everyone looked at Clint with judging eyes.

"What? It's for everybody." Clint shrugged to liven up the atmosphere.

"When did you..." Natasha was curious, the whole time they were immersed in Loki telling Daisha's history and didn't even notice the archer.

"Well... Halfway through the story, I felt hungry... So I silently called the nearest pizza place." Clint replied opening the box of pepperoni pizza.

"Ohhhh! Pizza!" Daisha excitingly said, getting a couple of slices one for her and the other for Loki.

"So.. You guys were pretty tight back then, ae?" Bruce asked the two, he gladly took the box of pizza and passed it around.

"I suppose so... I mean we wouldn't have such a strong bond as we do now, if it wasn't for our past." Daisha replied before getting a big bite of her slice.

"... I agree." Loki added, looking at his pizza with disgust yet he opted to try a piece. "Whaff?" He asked with a full mouth, everyone looked at him strangely because of his response.

"Normally you would be over dramatic and throw that slice of pizza at Bruce." Clint said with an astonished tone.

"Well.. Sorry to disappoint." Loki replied with his normal sarcasm. The god of mischief made his way to the kitchen, where he wants to be in solitude. He never liked crowds and frankly, it was suffocating him.

Daisha's eyes followed the walking figure and quickly reached for a full box of pizza and hurriedly caught up to the raven haired god. She casually kicked his back to announce her presence, which Loki wasn't fond of.

"The little miss went through alot." Steve intertwined his fingers, looking down on his feet.

"She had to be strong for her mother and she lost her too.." Natasha added.

"Just because they're royalty, doesn't mean they lived their lives with rainbows and unicorns.. They're just like us... Broken in some way." Bruce sighed, running his hands through his curly locks as everyone nodded in agreement.

"Although... I think they DID live with rainbows and unicorns." Tony lightened up the mood, casually sitting down. Everyone shot him a glare, which he replied, "What? It's true."

"Pepper, you're awfully quiet." Natasha commented, looking over at her direction.

"Oh, well, I was just curious about Heimdall.." Pepper replied with a blank expression, you can tell she was immersed in the matter.

"Heimdall?" Steve asked.

"Well, Heimdall is the gatekeeper, right? And it's supposed to be really strict, right?... So how did sh-"

"Blackmail." Everyone said in unison, Pepper didn't have a chance to finish her sentence.

"So..wait.. You guys know?" Pepper asked.

"Unfortunately, we don't, honey." Tony said taking his second slice of pizza.

"Aren't you the least bit curious?" Clint said, spitting out a few pizza bits all the way to Bruce who found it disgusting, flicking it off his hair.

"Yeah." They all sighed.

Steve was folding his pizza slice into two, when he noticed Natasha staring at hers for a while now. She looked like it was a huge problem for her.

"You got the supreme?" The patriotic captain asked.

"Uhm.. Yeah.." She replied, never taking her eyes off her pizza.

"You don't like olives, do you?" Steve said, looking at her slice.

"You remember." Natasha broke out a smile, looking at the black slices fondly now.

"Yes, I do." Steve smiled, talking about the time they had to go on a mission at a pizza parlor. "Here, I haven't touched it yet." The blond handed his pepperoni slice to the Russian spy, exchanging it for her supreme.

"Thank you.." She sighed out, now attempting to eat it, "You could've just picked them out, y'know." She added, eyeing the olives.

"Oh. Well, Yes, I supposed you're right." Steve said in a nervous chuckle, slightly embarrassed by how he approached it.

Thor and Jane finished sorting out their luggage, wanting to go down for the smell of pizza. The god of thunder beamed at the box and gave a gallant thanks before giving Jane a slice and eating his.

"Why can't we ask Thor?" Bruce asked, looking at the overly joyed blond man.

"About what?" Thor replied, munching on his share.

"We want to ask Daisha about the Blackmail she holds about Heimdall." Bruce answered, rolling his sleeves up as he got another helping of pizza.

"Come to think of it, I didn't have the courage to ask that as well." Jane added, sitting on the side of the couch.

"Well, why don't you ask her?" Thor happily said in response. Looking cheery with his second slice.

"She... Well... It was really..." Bruce couldn't finish his sentence, when Clint said, "Depressing."

Everyone agreed with a chorus of "Yeahs" and nods. Thor furrowed his brows as he asked, "Depressing?"

"She and Loki told us about her parents." Natasha said.

"Oh. She must trust you to great extent." The god of thunder replied with a slight surprise in his voice.

"Yo, Pointbreak, tell us the story." Tony intervened, yawning in the process.

"Ah, I see you're eager! I shall not make you wait any further.." Thor smiled, "It was all well and back when Auntie was still alive.."

Everyone's ears perked up as they were taken again in nostalgia for the third time.

Daisha was known as the people's princess, she would volunteer to go to mission and even when her father never came back, she started to take more and more missions away from the city.

She was distant even to the one closes to her which was Loki. They slowly grew apart and pleasant conversations slowly turned to confrontations, smiles turned to snarls and friendly competitions turned to rivalry. Although they kept a familiar relationship with each other, they grew into an unbelievable pair once joined to the hip and now marvels away.

People were shocked, disappointed and even sad about the estrange relationship. It was an exhausting night for everyone in the golden city.

Daisha just got back from another realm only to find the Bifrost being guarded with a substitute.

"It must be Heimdall's break." She shrugged. She let her presence waver down as she put on her cloak and hood, stepping inside an Asgardian pub with dim lighting. She sat on a stool just by the bar as she heard a familiar voice in the other corner. The goddess smiled to herself as she kept her hood on and ordered Asgardian alcohol.

"WE SHALL FEAST!" A rowdy Thor declared, banging his mug on the wooden table along with Fandral, Volstagg, Hogun, Sif and surprisingly, Heimdall. Daisha assumed their group successfully defeated the raging green beast in the mountains. She snickered and continued on drinking.

Everyone was drunk, even the firm gatekeeper Heimdall. He thoroughly wrecked a few mugs and even joined Thor in singing an Asgardian nursery rhyme. As soon as the gleeful singing was over, ruckus was made with Volstagg accidentally spilling Asgardian alcohol on Heimdall. The intoxicated gatekeeper swung his arms around to act all mighty, losing his balance in the process. He accidentally flung himself at the bar, gurgling and mumbling.

"Ga-keeper!" He mumbled. Heimdall pulled himself up as his blurry vision got the better of him, he looked up at the cloaked maiden (which is Daisha) and smiled, "You ar-"

-DING DONG-

Thor was cut off from his story when the apartment door rang. Jane voluntarily opened it to find Andrew waving hello to all of them.

"Oh, Andrew! What brings you here?" Jane greeted warmly.

"Just to inform you that I booked you lot dinner at Nobu." He smiled happily, he was a cheery old man and he never once got mad.

"Nobu? Wow .. That's... Really.. Wow.. We couldn't possibly-"

"Now, now dear.. It's been a long time since that girl came back and with friends no less!" Andrew nodded in content, patting Jane's shoulder before going on his own pace as he walked away.

"What a sweet old man." Pepper commented, bringing her hands together as she found the sweet gesture very endearing.

"Wait, what about the story?" Clint reverted the topic back, he's curiosity is at its highest peak, tapping his feet on the floor as the Avengers looked over Thor who was unfortunately out cold. The blonde slept like an infant, still holding a half eaten pizza on his left hand.

"I'm so sorry, he's probably tired." Jane excused herself, struggling to lift her boyfriend up. The brunette pulled one arm over her shoulder to help support him, but he was too heavy. She was about to yelp when suddenly the weight was lifted off her shoulders, she looked back to find Steve voluntarily helping her all the way upstairs.

"So much for that." Tony raised both his eyebrows, disappointed that they didn't find out about Daisha's black mail.

Meanwhile on the other side of the unit, the two continued to converse in their own corner.

"You were close to Mother as much as I'm close to Auntie.." Daisha sighed weakly, looking at the god of mischief who nodded in response.

"She was a remarkable woman, I can tell you that." Loki's eyes drooped down, he barely talks about his Zacht and so did Daisha. They grew an understanding silence as the goddess replied, "Yes, she was."

"She always talked about us getting married... Auntie was so spontaneous.." The raven haired god took one big gulp, he remembered how Daisha's mother would ask him when will their wedding be, or how wonderful it would be to have grandchildren.

"Do you agree with her?"

"What?"

"Do you agree with her that we should get married?"

And with that question, Loki was rendered speechless. Collecting his thoughts as he tried to form a reply. Unfortunately, his mind went blank. Internally panicking as his physical facade managed to stay stoic.
