Hello, Casey here. I am so sorry that I have not posted a new chapter for a long time I have just been busy with studies and this year some of my professors are mean and wont let me update at school so fun. Anyways, so thanks to some amazing readers who reviewed I now know what illness or excuse Valentine is going to use, but I wont tell you of course that would ruin the fun. So...on with the story then.

P.S. I am sorry if I write some words in 'British' sometimes I forget to write the American version instead, if you really want me to I will post the American version of the words at the bottom in future Chapters.

-Isabelle's POV-

We arrived at Luke's house not 20 minutes later. As we walk up to the door I hear shouting coming from the flat.

"Isabelle go wait by the car," says Alec upon hearing the shouting. But I stood there not wanting to be useless. See my stubbornness he just pushes me behind him, shielding me with his body. Overprotective bloke, I thought with a sigh.

Jace then peeks through the window, seeing no one in the parlor he silently opens the door and creeps in, with us in tow.

"Where are they?!" a voice yells, making me jump slightly.

"I don't know, she hasn't been home in a few days. I swear," comes a shaky voice that I recognize as Luke. I look over at Jace and see him pulling out his gun. Wait GUN?!

"Jace, what are you doing?" I whisper-yell not wanting to alert the intruders.

"Don't worry its only encase of an emergence," he said. He then takes a step forward, toward the source of yelling. But then is stopped by Alec grabbing his arm.

"Don't," Alec said, his voice dangerously low, as if daring Jace to take another step.

"Step back," he said, while pulling his gun out once more. We all took a few steps back not knowing what he was planning. Then with out warning Jace booming voice filled the house.

"POLICE!" He yelled making the voices in the other room stop.

"Come out with your hands above your heads!" he yelled then cocked the gun the add effect. I looked at him with question shining in my eyes, but he just mouthed 'wait'.

"We're coming in have your hands above your heads!" he stomped his feet a few times to make it sound like more then one officer was present, then as if he planned it he men in the other room ran out through the back door. I then heard a car start and take off letting us know they had completely left.

He told us to wait once more as he walked in to the room most likely making sure there was no one else there.

"Alright, its safe you can come in now," after that was said we walked in to the kitchen area.

"Well I guess watching all those cop shows paid off," Jace said slightly proud.

That's when I noticed how messy it was in there; plates broken and shattered across the floor along with silverware and a few thing that looked like they belonged on the counter. Then my eyes settled on Luke, he looked awful he was tied to a chair with what looked like wire or cords. He had a split lip the had blood flowing freely from it along with a bloody nose and a few cuts on his face.

"Bloody hell," I heard Alec whisper as he took everything in. He then rushes over to Luke with Magnus to untie him while Jace Simon and I look around for a knife to cut the rope. Once one was found we quickly get Luke out of the binding.

"Luke are you alright," I say while handing his some water with a washcloth to clean his face.

"Yeah, they didn't do to mush damage," he said while tending to his wounds.

"Who were they?" asked Magnus and Simon in unison making a smile break out across Luke's face.

"They were some guys Clary's dad got in with," he explained.

"Is that why they were looking for Clary and her dad?" asked Alec who had been quiet up until this point.

"Sadly yes. They plan to use them both, in what I don't know," he said. Looking at his watch he signed obviously tired. "I suggest we look for then tomorrow. Seeing as how it is late and dark outside," he said yawning.

"So you know Clary is gone, taken by her father?" I asked.

He shook his head sadly, "yes I know, but I believe she is in good hands for the time being,"

"In good hands?!" Jace asked bewilder. "How is she in good hands? She is out there with her father who is a murderer the same one that just so happened to kill her brother and mother," when he was done talking his face was slightly flushed with anger.

"Valentine is a good man, but he has a bad illness bipolar and is also an alcoholic which triggers this moods. That is why he was not charger-ed for murderer. He knows what he did and feels guilty of it and I believe he is trying to make it put to Clary for all the years of abuse and neglect." we were all shocked by the time he had finished.

"We will look for them in the morning as I said, give them a little time," he said then showed us to the guest room that had two beds, Jace said he would sleep on the floor and let us have the beds. So in the end me and Simon were sharing one bed while Alec and Magnus were sharing another. Then as soon as we all lied down we were asleep.

Well did you like it? It was kinda boring to write to be honest, and then I had to rewrite like 3 paragraphs because they were absolute rubbish. Anyways R&R because you know I love it when you do. ~ Casey
