Alright everyone, this is a revised and fully completed chapter. I've been working on it when I can; as school's just started up again and I've got a job. Just a little bit about the story:

Unlike other CoD Z stories, I'm not going to implement the power ups, soda-perks, mystery box, etc. I feel it makes the story sound like nothing more than a novelization of playing the game. (With the points and buying doors, etc). Not that I'm saying those are bad, just not my taste for writing.

And on another note: 17 more days until Season 4 comes back.

Enjoy.

"Eh, where are we?"

"A better question is..."

"When are we?"

"NO! Where the hell is my Vodka?"

"We are no where near the place we were supposed to be, and while I do not have a Masters in Time and Space Transportation, unlike that other Doctor in the blue phone booth..."

"Even Nikolai can tell we're no-fucking-where near the hell hole we're supposed to be."

"... What? It's true." Silence would settle upon the four voices for a moment.

"Exactly, and without another MDT..."

"We are basically stuck together YET again." An angry voice would sound out. "Damnit kraut! Why couldn't you send us to Vegas, or New York?"

"We must not fight amongst ourselves. While we all agree we'd rather be in a place of maximum defense with much honor-spewing firepower, we must deal with the place we are with what we have."

Two sighs sound out as everyone takes a ten second cool down. "The Jap's right, but we've still got to answer the most important fucking question:

where are we?" The sound of a girl's screams cuts through the air. All four soldiers stand up, guns raised in alarm and some eagerness.

"Did you guys hear that?" Tank asks as he'd motion for silence. The scream comes again and the Japanese man snaps his head in the direction. "A girl is in trouble. We must help her from these dishonorable beasts!" Tank nods at the man with a look of eagerness in his eyes.

"Let's get going Takeo. Ooh-rah!" Both the two soldiers rush off towards the screams; hands slipping fresh magazines into their weapons. The other two soldiers stand there for a moment before rushing off after them. Combat boots clomp upon forest dirt as the four marines' dash towards the screaming girl. A clump of dirty blonde hair rushes through the forest, only to bump straight into one of the men. She falls down to the ground, scrambling to get up.

"Hey, hey, shhhhh." Tank hisses as he'd snatch up the girl in his arm, wrapping a hand around her mouth to prevent her from screaming. "Shhh… keep quiet girl, your screaming isn't doing anyone any good." Tank feels the girl panting against his hand, but she slowly calms down a little, even if her movements give away her instinct to run.

"You gonna keep calm now?" The American removes his hand when the girl nods. "Now what got a girl like you so riled up? You look like you've seen a freakba…"

"Behind you!" The girl screeches in fear, pointing behind the marine. Whirling around, the blue eyed man holds the girl closer as five lumbering corpses shuffle towards him. One of them is a man dressed in raggedy cloths, part of his cheek bit off. The others are dressed in either a dress of some sort or relaxing cloths; all of them dirty and covered in muck. The last one lumbers up only a foot or so away from the Marine, intending on getting the girl.

"Eat this bone-junkie!" The raider cries out, driving the blade of his knife into it's jaw. The corpse would hiss in anger or pain before going limp on the knife. Looking up Tank would see the other four closing in on him, swarming him like ants to some food.

"Oh shit! Tak-man, where are…" The sound of a katana rings through the air, the Japanese man slicing the head off of one corpse. With the expression of a samurai the Imperial warrior rushes to intercept another walking cadaver. Placing the blade up against its neck, he then quickly slashes at the throat, freeing the head from the neck. One of the remaining walkers lumbers towards the swordsmen's backside, eager to have a mouthful of flesh. This movement isn't missed by the eyes of the alert Jedi, whom quickly spins around to cleave the head off of his wanna-be attacker. Another spin and blade-stroke sends the fourth melon to the ground, the body slumping downwards.

"Dishonorable creatures." Takeo frowns as he would sheathe his katana with a smooth precise movement of his arm. Suddenly there's the sound of movement as leaves are crunched by footsteps, alerting all three. Dempsey pulls out a handgun from his hip, the safety off even before his eyes are lined up with the sights. Two shapes would emerge into view; a thick-skinned man with a Russian winter hat and another, skinnier man wearing a Nazi uniform with black rubber gloves covering his hands.

"Ah Dempsey, you've saved a girl, though I didn't know you would be after the young ones," a thick German accented voice comes from the skinny man, directed at the blonde marine.

"Fuck you Kraut." Dempsey barks back angrily, giving the German a death glare even as Sophia hides behind the Marine Raider. Both blue eyes stare into the others, eyes that have seen war and things much worse than war.

"Ummmm, guys?" The Russian-hat wearing man speaks up. Neither of them look at him as he'd hold a vodka bottle in his hands. "Where the fuck are we?"

THAT causes all four heads to turn towards the Russian, and then three of them turn to the young girl behind Dempsey. She shrinks back as Nikolai would look at her, either scared of him or his breath. Maybe both. Tank would see this and motions for Nikolai to back away, which the Russian does so commenting about his needs to take an urgent dump.

"So you know where we are little girl?" Tank asks, crouching down in front of Sophia, brown scared eyes meeting calm blue ones.

"N-no, but my mom's back on the highway, with the others..." Sophia stammers as she clutches her doll close to her body. "We... we were stuck on a highway, blocked by cars. Rick called for us to get down as a herd passed through. I was scared and hid under the cars. I was so scared, I thought we'd be found. When they moved on we thought they were gone. But..." Fear is in the girl's eyes and she clutches her doll. "One of them saw me. I ran away and Rick followed me. I... he told me to stay hidden, I didn't want him to leave me. B-but he said to keep the sun on my left, and I'd find mom again." Sophia finds herself hugging Tank, surprising the marine for a moment before comforting the girl.

"We should get this one back to her group," Takeo comments as he would look towards the sun, remembering what Sophia's instructions were. "Her mother must be very concerned. It will bring us much honor to help."

"Or dey might have some vodka," Nikolai blurts out with a belch. "Dat's a better reward den honor..." Takeo would give the Russian a disgusted look

"Either way, more people means I don't have to stick around with you dummkopf's," Richtofen would state with a sigh.

OMAKE: Curiosity about the mystery box.

Richtofen says this in Origins: "During our excavations we uncovered this ancient box. We have no idea of its origins. What we do know is that somehow it contains weapons which we can use in our fight for survival."

*The "modern crew" all look at their own mystery box: a wooden toy chest, then to the "original box", a stone sarcophagus.*

Modern Tank: So... you're telling me... that this wooden box... is inside that stone box...

"Apparently." Modern Nikolai would state while taking a huge swig of vodka
