Who am I? Well, my name is Albus. Albus Severus Potter. Am I normal? Well, what is normal anyway?

I never really fit in with the rest of my family. I was always the one trying new things, the one to break tradition, everything.

In all of the Weasly/Potter history, I was the first to be sorted into Slytherin. And as if THAT wasn't enough, Hagrid and I-well, we don't HATE each other per say, actually, but he's always favorited James over me. Unlike Dad, who, was, of course, a Griffendor, Hagrid's pet, and every other perfect thing possible for a student to be. Harry freaking Potter.

Rose was the Ravenclaw brainiac, and brought tears of pride to Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron's eyes to talk about her.

James was the Griffendor prankster, much like Dad told us James's namesake was. He was also a perfect, which made him the light of our parent's eyes.

I'm the Slytherin overshadowed by my family. The Slytherin who was best friends with Scorpius Malfoy. The Slytherin who didn't quite know where to go. Me.

Lily scurries into the restaurant. Grover's Enchilada and Garden Shack. The owner and chef, Grover, hobbles over to meet us.

"Hello! Wel-" he stops, grinning when he sees my Dad. "Harry! Good to see you!" Dad grins.

"Hello to you too mate," he says as they do some kind of awkward embrace. Lily jumps up to the bar.

"I want a cheese enchilada with a cheese crisp and chips," she informs the girl working behind the counter.

"That's kind of a lot of cheese Lily," I joke. She shrugs.

"Do you want anything?" the girl asks. She glances up at me with eyes almost as startlingly as green as mine.

"Yeah," I say, hopping onto a stool next to Lily. "I'll have a vegetable burrito." The girl nods and scuttles behind two wooden doors.

"That's Zoe," a voice says from behind me. Grover.

"What?"

"The girl. That's Zoe Jackson." Grover explains. O-kay. What exactly did that have to do with me?

"That's nice to know," I say, trailing off. Grover turns and follows Zoe into the kitchen, the door slamming shut behind him.

Dad and Mum sit in matching chairs along the bar.

"After this can we go to Diagon Ally?" Lily asks breathlessly. "And to Uncle George's shop?"

"Sh!" James hisses, jerking his head towards the door. "Muggles!"

A gust of chilly wind fills the small taco shack. The bell chimes as a merry faced couple enter the building, a blond-haired boy between them. The man eyes Dad cautiously.

"Harry."

Dad nods solemnly. "Percy." Percy's eyes flicker along the bar. I inhale sharply. They were a stunning green-a crystal clear green-Zoe's eyes. Zoe's dad. Not that Zoe had nice eyes. At all.

The woman smiles rather stiffly.

"Have you seen Zoe?" she asks, her independent tone not quite matching up with her princess curls.

With a clatter, the door connecting the kitchen and dining room pops open. Zoe strides through, her arms laden with trays. She gently sits them down on the table as I dive in eagerly. She frowns, giving me a disgusted look.

"Zoe," her mother says. Zoe stiffens.

"Yes?"

"I want you and Luke to go outside," her mother instructs. Percy nods.

"James," Dad says in an undertone. "Take Albus and Lily outside as well. Here-" he shoves the food into James's arms. James nods, in the way that older siblings do when they know something you don't.

"Come on you lot," he calls as we tromp outside. Zoe and Luke follows, Zoe slamming the door behind her. Evidently she was irritated.

"I can't believe it!" she fumes to her brother. Luke shrugs.

"Work stuff Zoe," he says. "You know."

"No, I don't," Zoe huffs. "Why else would I ask?"

"Zoe-"

"Shut up Luke," Zoe grumbles.

"Whoa you two!" I say, holding out my hands in a pacifying kind of position. "Calm down."

"Shut up," Zoe repeats, only this time, she's glaring at me.

"Someone's got their knickers in a twist," I mutter darkly. She shoots me another glare, again clearly conveying the message shut up without actually saying anything.

"I'm James," James says in a valiant attempt to shatter the ice. "That's Lily. And the blockhead over there is Albus."

"Al," I correct, visually shooting daggers at James.

"I'm Zoe," Zoe says reluctantly. "But you all know that already. That's Luke, my brother."

Lily cracks open the tinfoil, the mouth-watering scent of the cheese crisp wafting into the breeze. In perfect unison, James and I both reach for our tinfoil lunches and cram them eagerly in our mouths. The burrito is perfect-the vegetables cooked to perfection. Then again-Grover's food always was perfect.

Zoe rises, wiping her mouth carelessly on the back of her hand. "Anyone know what they're up to?" she directs the question to me. As if I know.

"Nope!" Lily chirps cheerfully, opening the enchilada. "Not a clue!"

James glances around fugitively before pulling something out of his pocket. It's long and fleshy colored. Extendable Ears.

"James!" I whisper, punching his arm. "Muggles!"

"Naw," he scoffs, holding them to the door. "I figure if Mum and Dad have business to discuss that's so important that we can't listen to, they can't be regular muggles."

"Um, hello?" Zoe snaps, raising an eyebrow. "We're right here."

"So you are," James mutters under his breath. "Unfortunately."

"Excuse me?"

James, still wearing his trademark infuriating smirk, slides the end of the Extendable Ears to the door, and holds the other one up in earshot.

Upon seeing it, Zoe's mouth opens and closes-making her look remarkably like a guppy. I refrain from teasing her however, and the three of us kneel down to the receiving end, Luke hovering somewhere over our shoulders.

"-The date is getting closer," Dad's voice says urgently. "We need to do something about it soon."

"Chiron has refused to talk about it," Zoe's mum says. "Luke's doing everything that we can do for him. Zoe..."

"She hasn't shown any sign of magic yet?" Mum questions.

"No," her dad says glumly. "And if it doesn't happen soon then there's nothing we can do about it. We'll just have to hope that the prophecy will stall long enough for Lily to grow up."

"Blimey," James whispers to me. "This-"

A quick shuffling noise brings us to attention. We all clamber to our feet, trying to look as innocent as possible.

"Eavesdropping?" Mum asks disapprovingly.

"But there aren't any eaves to drop under," I joke.

Mum gives me one of those looks that only mother's seem to possess.

"You're talking about us," James says boldly, stuffing his Extendable Ears in his pocket. "But we don't know what we have to do with it. "If it's about us, then I think we have a right to know."

"He has a point Ginny," Zoe's dad calls from the bar. "Let them in. It's time they knew what they got themselves into."
