OK, time to continue this Turnabout, shall we? As always, I own nothing from the Ace attorney games. That belongs to Capcom and the creators. But please, Enjoy.

Turnabout Infighting Part 3

January 30th, 14:25. Detention Center

(Phoenix's Point of view)

I sat down across from my new client on the other side of the glass that celebrates us as I got a good look at our client. He had short black hair, dark blue eyes, a black and white jumpsuit that had the picture of Mr. Monkey on his shirt and slight scar on the middle of his chin.

"Excuse me, Mr. Doe?" I asked as he suddenly did a yell, making me jump back a bit from the volume.

"HYAA! That's me, sir! I! Am! Ken! Doe!" he did a few martial arts moves when he said this.

'Why do I always end up working for crazy people?' I thought with an inward groan, as I saw Maya and Trucy were giggling at my expense. 'Oh gee, thanks a lot girls. That means a lot, really.'

"…OK, Mr. Doe…mind telling me why you were at the scene of the crime?" I asked as Ken calmed down.

"You see, Mister, I know who you are: You're Phoenix Wright. You're the guy who helped Willy back in the day. So I know you'll believe me when I say I didn't kill him." Ken told me, his tone confident.

"Alright…then why were you at the scene?" Maya asked as he sighed.

"You want me to be honest: I was there to see why Mr. Lee wasn't at the show, and I found out the hard way that he was dead. I tried to wake him up, and got some blood on my hands. I tried to clean it off with some rag I found, but that was when that psychopath in the costume attacked me." Ken told me, as I felt my magatama.

I gripped it as I asked "so…you didn't see anything else?"

"Hmm…not that I remember." He told me as, suddenly in front of my eyes, I felt a sudden darkness overcome the area as chains suddenly flew down from above and around him, creating a strange-looking floating lock connected to the chain links: two in all. They were both red in color with a heart-shaped lock.

'Psyche-locks…' I thought, looking at Maya as she gave me a nod of confirmation, showing her own magatama, showing she saw them too.

"Alright Mr. Doe…I'm going to show you some evidence we got." Maya told him as she got my phone out and went to the app labeled 'Court Record' and showed it to him, showing the evidence Athena and Apollo sent us.

He looked and he looked surprised when Maya got to a certain piece of evidence. "Hey, that's Master Lee's Headband! Why was that taken off!? He never took it off! He even said he bathed in that!"

'OK, that was to much information…' I thought with a flat look as I looked at the headband on the photograph. It had a Yin-Yang symbol on it, which made sense given his job.

"Is it that important?" Trucy asked me, but I just shrugged in response. I had no idea if this was important or not, but I didn't want to say it.

"Mr. Doe, is anything else getting your attention besides the headband?" Maya asked as she continued to go through the evidence.

"…Wait, isn't there supposed to be a murder weapon?" Ken asked, as I looked in confusion.

"What do you mean?" I asked, as Maya showed me the evidence and I looked it over and a frown began to cross my face. 'Where's the Murder Weapon? It should be here.'

"Did they miss it?" Trucy asked me, as Ken frowned.

"so they arrested me without the murder weapon even being IN the room!?" He asked, looking angry. I stepped back as he yells out "WHO! IS! IN! CHARGE! OF! THIS! COCKAMAMIE! POLICE! FORCE!?"

"Mr. Doe, Mr. Doe, calm down!" I commanded, hoping that the guard in the back doesn't react to this…but he was just standing there like always. 'OK, is he just like those British Royal Guards? Does he just stand there and not react to anything?'

"OK, is that guard dead or something? Why isn't he doing anything!?" Maya asked, just as surprised as I am. "HEY!' she yelled right at the man, though she had to do it right within my earshot.

'And here comes headaches…' I thought with a groan as I suddenly saw the guard look around in shock.

"Huh? What?" The Guard asked…like if he was asleep. OK, was he asleep standing up or something?

'Sleeping on the job…oi…' I thought as I looked at Ken, who still looked livid. "Look, for now, you're their main suspect because of a witness. That's all they got on you. If I can prove that you didn't kill him, that would give us a day at least to find the real killer."

"…you sure it'll be enough?" Ken asked me, his tone sounding concerned.

"Trust me, I've worked with less. Plus if the testimonies don't fit with the evidence so far, then we got a chance." I reassured him, as he gave me a grateful smile as I stood up. "Listen, I'll see you in court tomorrow. My team and I will represent you in court. I'll make sure you're innocent, promise."

"OK…thanks." He looked at me with a sad face, making me feel bad for putting his hopes up.

'I hope I'm not just saying stuff out of my butt…' I thought while I led my daughter and paralegal with me, heading out.

"What are we gonna do now, Daddy?" Trucy asked me, looking at me while I just sighed.

"For one, we need to make a case. We better see how Apollo and Athena are doing with the questioning." I sighed while we head to my car, hopeful that they got some information.

January 30th, 14:32. Global Studio, Studio 1

(Apollo's Point of view)

Athena and I found Miss Nickols sitting at her seat, and we began to ask her questions. But we weren't getting far with her.

"I told you before and I'll say it again, I was at the stage when the murder happened." She told us, but I saw something on her face that showed me she was hiding something, so I pressed on.

"Did you see Mr. Doe anywhere prior to the scene with the Iron Ronin?" I asked her, as I saw her tap her chin in thought.

"Hmm…well, I think I might have seen Ken in full costume leaving towards the restroom area with Kim Lee, one of the Stuntwomen who was playing as one of the female monsters this week. That was the last time I saw him last night after the show." She told us as I nod. That information could be helpful, since it could help give an alibi.

"Ronin mentioned someone being sick…who was it?' Athena asked as Miss Nickols got out a piece of paper.

"This is a list of actors for the stage show except for Evil Magistrate, Iron Ronin, Steel Samurai and Pink Princess. Only two people were sick and had to stay behind. But I doubt they were part of this." She explained, getting a list out of her clipboard.

'How come the four stars don't have their names on the list? Is it because everyone knows who they are except me?' I thought, sighing a bit before I took the list.

"Thanks for your time, Miss Nickols. If you got any more information, give us a call." I said in my most professional tone, giving her a card, which she took from my hand.

"Sure, no problem." We gave her a nod and left out, as I felt Athena give me a nudge.

"REAL smooth, Polly. Really professional." I could tell there were telltale signs of her teasing me, which kind of bugged me since we were meant to be co-workers.

"I see you're being real chummy with the writer, huh Featherhead and Gadget-girl?" a voice asked in the shadows, which was kind of suspicious.

"Featherhead?" I asked…before realizing he was talking about my hair. "Hey! My hair doesn't look like feathers!"

"Kind of do." The voice said right behind me, as I jump a bit to see that it was that Iron Ronin again.

"OK, why are you following us everywhere?" Athena asked, sounding annoyed with this guy and his sneaky tactics as much as I was.

The Ronin just laughed as he says, "Just making sure you two aren't those types of lawyers who try and trick people into what you want them to say." He then did that thing with rubbing his nose, which bugged me since it just showed how smug this punk really was.

"What do you want?" I asked, wanting to get rid of him…as he threw an envelope forward.

"Got a message for your boss. Make sure to give it to him." Ronin said as he walked off, before he stopped. "And you can stop glaring at me, you're not gonna bore holes in this outfit."

"Ugh…" I took the envelope and ask, "why all the secrecy?" I heard him chuckle as he turned to us, almost amused.

"Heh…I wanna see if that super power of his still holds up." I could almost tell a smirk was under that mask as he left. I frowned as I headed out with Athena.

"OK, something is royally bugging me about that guy…and who was the person who got sick?" Athena asked as I looked at the list.

"It said it was…Jean Guarde. Hmm…" I looked at the list again to make sure, and I saw her looking at me before I nod. "Yeah, Mr. Guarde was sick earlier. Same with this guy named Perry Bloque…"

"So we'll also have to look into those two, huh?" Athena asked me as I just sigh.

"Looks like it…at least get in contact with these two. You know, to see where they were yesterday." Athena gave a nod while we went to the motorcycle, while I got my phone out and dialed up. "Trucy, hey, it's Apollo."

"Polly, you won't believe this! Our client is a nut!" Trucy said in my ear, making me cringe a bit at her volume.

'Wait, so HE'S a nut…? So our past trials were with perfectly sane people?' I thought with a flat look, remembering some of our past trials we went through before this one. "How much of a nut is he?"

"He yells out randomly when he gets worked up, sort of like how most action movies try and make emphasis on their words. And he does weird poses with it too…I think he's too excited about being an actor." Trucy explained, as I blinked a bit.

"OK…yeah, that was bad. Anything of interest?" I asked, as I heard Trucy do a humming thing she does when she thinks.

"Well, he said something about him going to see why Mr. Lee wasn't at the show, and found him dead already. So I think if we can get a timeline set up between when Mr. Doe left and when the fight between him and that Ronin guy happened, we can make sure it's not a easy case for the Prosecution." Trucy explained, as I nod.

"OK, thanks Trucy. We got word about these three people of interest: two stuntmen, Jean Guarde and Perry Blaque, along with a woman named Kim Lee, one of the stunt women." I told her, as I heard her give an 'Mm-hmm'.

"Gotcha, Polly. I'll look into it for you guys. As a magician, I can get the word on these guys." Trucy said as I smirked.

'Heh, looks like Trucy being a magician is a big help on the case after all.' I then look at Athena, who was also on the phone.

"Thanks, it'll be great if you can meet us at the office for this case. See you then." Athena said, hanging up.

"I'll see you at the office, OK Truce?" I said as Trucy gave a goodbye, as I hung up. "Who'd you call?"

"You'll see." Athena said with a smirk, as she got into the sidecar as she put on the helmet she had with it as she buckled up. "This time, keep it easy please."

"Yeah, yeah." I said as I got onto my motorcycle and drove off.

(Later…)

January 30th, 15:21. Wright Anything Agency

(Phoenix's Point of view)

We all came at around the same time, but there was a black car in front of our office. "Were we expecting guests?" Maya asked me, as I just shrug in response.

"No idea." I said, as I opened the door…only to get quite a surprise:

*KYAA!* Suddenly a brown and light brown falcon with a black and gray bandanna flew right at us, making Maya and Trucy give out a surprised scream as the bird flew and landed onto my head.

"What the heck was that!?" Asked Maya, annoyed as I looked at the bird with confusion. Something was very familiar about it…then I realized it.

"Wait…Taka?" I asked as the bird gave out a screech out of confirmation. "Yep, it's you…why are you here?"

"Apologizes, Wright-dono. Athena-chan asked us to come over…to help you with this case." Said a quiet-sounding voice as a figure came in. In came a black haired young man with a white patch on the side, a very long ponytail, a black jacket with feather insignia on the outer parts, a button up shirt and a pair of black pants. On his side, as a new accessory it seems, was a katana sword with a falcon-styled sheath.

"Uh…Hi…who is this guy?" Maya asked, a nervous smile on her face…well, he intimidated a lot of people.

"Hey Simon!" said Athena with a huge grin, as Simon gave his friend a smile…well, a small one, but a smile nonetheless.

"Oh yes, you must be Maya Fey, the mistress of the Kurian technique. It is an honor to meet to you, Fey-sama." He said, giving a bow, as Maya smiled as she returned the bow. "I am Simon Blackquill."

"An honor to meet you, Mr. Samurai." Maya said with a smile. "SO…you good with that blade?"

"I would say so." Simon said with a smile as he gave a serious look to me. "Athena-chan told me to come over as quickly as possible to help you establish a weapon for this strange murder thought up by this…children show."

"Yeah, we'll need all the help we can get." I told him as I looked at Apollo, who got out an envelope before me. "What's that, Apollo?"

"Something that Ronin guy gave this to me and Athena while we were leaving." Apollo told me, as I took the envelope and opened it…as my eyes widen at a faint glimmer from inside of it before I closed it and put it into my pocket.

"…I think I know who this Ronin is…" I said with a groan, rubbing my temple. 'GREAT…another flash from the past is coming up…' I looked at everyone as he says, "OK, lets get a case together." They all nod in agreement.

"And don't worry Daddy, I'll back you up in court." Trucy said with a smirk. "I'm gonna make some calls to some of the friends I made at the Wonder Bar and the other gigs I've been at. They should know something about these other actors." She went off at this.

"OK, lets get together on a game plan, team." Maya said as she went to the computer to do some research as well, while I sat down with Apollo to look over the evidence as Athena and Blackquill went to work on finding out what the murder weapon could have been via Widget.

'I hope we can do this…but what was Mr. Doe so nervous about…and who was that man talking to one of those convicts?' I asked myself, my eyes focused on the collection of evidence. 'And what was the murder weapon? What could have done this if the weapons weren't touched?' I sighed, as I began to work out on everything for our case…and I am hopeful I can take this new prosecutor on.

'Good thing we're all working together…or else this would have been more damning…' I thought as I worked on looking on anything suspicious on the evidence.

End of part 3
