AN: Well then, here is the next chapter for the story! This chapter is going to be 'interesting' to say the least. As you seen in the previous chapter, Tobias unexpectedly attacked the group, aiming for Serena. For the start of the chapter, I will be giving some more backstory on Ash, and Kieron in the form of flashbacks. Don't worry; towards the end of the chapter, you'll understand why I've done it like this. Just a warning, as you all know, Kieron doesn't exactly have a bright and happy past, so I'm going to say this now. There will be death this chapter. If you don't like to see that, I'd advise skipping past some of Kieron's flashback. Also, like I said in the last AN, chapters will be relatively short, although I will be trying to do weekly updates again. Enough about that though, on with the chapter!

Ash's POV:

It was awful. My best friend dead. My friends shunning me. Turning against me. Betraying me.

"You appear to be in a spot of bother there kid. You okay?" I looked towards the voice with emotionless eyes, noticing a trainer who appeared to be older than me. He was wearing a bandanna and hat, successfully concealing his face. He was in a completely black trench coat, giving off an air of mystery, while making me increase my guard.

"Why do you wanna know?" I asked, turning towards him with an untrusting gaze. After what happened in Pallet Town, I no longer felt obligated to helping, nor interacting with other people. I was simply here to collect supplies for myself and food for my Pokémon.

"I simply noticed the look you're giving off. If you want to conceal yourself, you shouldn't let your aura flare out as you are." I stopped dead in my tracks as I was walking away from him. This was too suspicious; only a few people knew about aura.

"Who are you and what do you want with me?" I asked menacingly, getting ready to charge an aura sphere, while grabbing Charizard's Pokeball from my belt. As soon as I saw this person, I felt an overwhelming amount of energy, so I need to keep my guard up.

"There's no need for that, I'm not here to hurt you." With a simple wave of his hands, we seemed to suddenly teleport away from the bustling streets and into seclusion. My eyes tightened as I released Charizard immediately, feeling threatened by this persons ease at using aura. I only had a small amount of knowledge on the subject so far, although I knew how powerful you have to be, to be able to just teleport like that. Rather than cower at the sight of Charizard, the man chuckled lightly, seemingly inspecting him.

"Yes, I knew who you were as soon as I felt your aura, Ash Ketchum." Charizard puffed out a breath, standing in front of me defensively. "There's no need for that." The man said, giving both my Pokémon and I a genuine smile. "As I said, I'm here to help you. I know all about the happenings within your hometown. You could say you and I are the same." The man said, taking off his bandanna and hat. Now that I was able to get a good look at him, he seemed to be an older male, maybe in his 40's. With short orange hair and bright blue eyes, looking at me with an intensity I wasn't used to.

"Since I already know who you are, I'll introduce myself." He put his hand out, making me tentatively shake it. With a small grin, he shook my hand in a firm, yet kind handshake. "You can call me Isaac Addams. (1)" With the introductions out of the way, I was able to calm down slightly.

"Okay, it's nice to meet you. So, what exactly do you want with me? I apologize if that sounds rude of me, but I don't particularly enjoy being teleported by someone I've just met." He laughed lightly at that, making my face contort in annoyance.

"Okay, I'll be serious now. So, I already know about you and your aura. You could say I'm a 'mentor' for upcoming aura users, meaning I help them learn about their powers and teach them how to use their powers correctly. Currently, I have two students under my wing. My son and one of his friends." I nodded lightly at that, although on the inside, I was seriously considering what he was saying. Although I didn't trust people often anymore, I detected no malice from this person whatsoever. I could tell that he wasn't lying to me. Although...

"Where are you going with this exactly?" I asked, making him give a small smile.

"I believe you already know, or at least have a vague idea." I gave him a piercing look. "Okay fine. I'm looking for students to train in the way of aura. Since without training, people can become corrupt with their own aura taking over. So, I'm ensuring upcoming aura users can learn more about themselves and their powers, along with ensuring the populace is safe from people who may do them harm with corrupted aura." I nodded my head at this, understanding his logic. It was nice to see that someone was looking out for others, especially when aura users are brought to mind. After researching and having my own experiences, I knew what people where like around things they don't understand, and aura is now one of the least understood things in almost all regions.

"That's nice and all, but I am already able to control my aura. I'd rather not be under anyone's 'wing'." I said with some contempt in my voice. He sighed lightly at that, but didn't make too much of a fuss, thankfully.

"Ah well, I always knew you were a bit hot-headed." I felt annoyance and some anger build inside me, even if I knew what he was saying was the truth. "Just know, if you ever need help or advice with anything, or even just a friend, I'll be available. Don't let your life be dominated by seclusion. Even if you're on a rocky road now, you'll find in time that everything gets better." With that said, he waved his hand again, resulting in us being back in Celadon City.

I looked at him curiously, as he got a slip of paper from his pocket, not even realising that he had his hat and bandanna back in place. He gave the small piece of paper to me, which held his name and apparently, a phone number.

"As I said, if you ever need to talk or you would like to learn more about yourself, especially your aura. Just give me a call. My son and his friend could always do with someone new, as they are quite secluded themselves." With that, he gave me a small smile, before pulling his bandanna back into its original place as he walked off slowly. I watched his back as he left, just now realising that Charizard was already returned to his Pokeball. Although a bit unnerved, I couldn't help but smile slightly. He was very interesting to say the least.

I looked down at the paper in my hand, memorizing the number. If the day ever came, I would be sure to give him a call. I may not have known him for long, but he seemed trustworthy. Although my aura wasn't particularly strong yet, I could still detect that his aura was pure and he had no negative intentions regarding me.

'Interesting' I thought to myself, walking towards the Celadon Department Store. I looked at the number again, before putting it into my pocket. 'I have no need for interacting with others yet. I have to do this on my own.'

I was sat atop the mountain, staring out into the abyss below. I had been here for so long now. How many days had it been? Weeks? Months? I have lost track of time, just spending my days making the final adjustments to the house and training my Pokémon.

I now felt that I had become harsher in my training. At first, I was stopping myself from pushing my Pokémon, fearing they would hate me like my supposed friends and family do. They quickly dashed that fear though, showing they were all ready for training. No matter how harsh. And here we are now, our powers increased massively and my Pokémon showing steady improvements. Still... There was something missing in all of this. It was one of the Pokémon I tried not to think about, until I remembered what day this was.

"So, this was the day, huh buddy?" I stated looking up into the sky. Pikachu, my best friend, died a year ago today. The memories came flooding back, causing tears to silently fall from my eyes.

"Father?" I looked back to see Lucario standing there, looking at me with caring and understanding eyes. I gave a small smile back at my Pokémon, not bothering to hide my emotions. I was sick of holding it in. I just wanted to let it go. "You can, father. We won't judge you for it. All of your Pokémon mourn over Pikachu's loss." At this, I couldn't hold back anymore. I let the tears out I had been holding for so long. My Pokémon surrounded me, giving their comfort and warmth. I let my emotions run free, feeling no shame or embarrassment around my Pokémon. Lucario, my son, was right there with me. Healing my inured soul.

Days seemed to fly by for me. Training my Pokémon seemed to just blend into my daily life. The days without Pikachu seemed to be some of the loneliest, even if I had all of my Pokémon with me. I knew that I had to do something to get over his death so I can finally move on, but I just didn't know how.

"Father..." I looked to my left to see Lucario there once again. I gave a small smile, before looking out into the sky, my mind still turning over the thoughts of Pikachu. "I believe I have an idea of what you could do father." I gave him a pointed look.

"What do you think I should do Lucario?" I asked quietly, my voice hitching lightly. He gave me an appraising look for a second before nodding to himself.

"I think you should go to his place of rest." I inhaled at that. How could I have been so stupid? I haven't even been to say an actual goodbye yet. He seemed to understand what was going through my mind, as he gave me a small smile. "Do not worry yourself father, he would understand. Take Charizard with you just in case. The rest of us will wait here for your return." I gave him a thankful smile.

It didn't take long for me to find Charizard. Somehow, my Pokémon seemed to know what was going through my mind and what I was going to do, as they all gave me small smiles and greetings as I walked past each of them training together. My heart felt lighter; I let go of some of the anger I had at the world when I saw my Pokémon. My family.

"Let's go Charizard. Back to the Pallet Town outskirts." I said quietly, sitting on the back of Charizard. He gave a small grunt, before flapping his wings and shooting up into the air. I breathed out a sigh, feeling the cold air of Mt. Silver swoosh past my face. While I still wasn't completely used to the cold climate of this mountain, it didn't bother me much anymore.

...

Soon, we made it to the outskirts of Pallet Town, luckily without receiving any unwanted attention. I returned Charizard after thanking him and explaining what I was doing. He seemed to understand my need to be alone right now.

I soon started on my way to Pikachu's grave, remembering the way quite well. Considering this place was always in my dreams, the memories of that day constantly appearing in my mind. I remembered it all too well. Like something was calling me back here.

To my surprise, there was a Pokémon here, seemingly looking down at the grave. It was floating in the air, buzzing gently with electricity.

"Who... Who are you? What are you doing here?!" I asked with apprehension and some anger in my voice. Although, there was something familiar about this Pokémon. To my surprise, the Pokémon turned around extremely quickly, a look of shock on its... Face?

"Ash?" To my surprise, the Pokémon was able to talk. At the very least, I could hear it. Although...

"It can't be..." I whispered, walking towards the Pokémon slowly. It seemed to be getting closer to me as well, floating through the air gently. As soon as I was close to the Pokémon, my mind connected the pieces together. "Pikachu?" I asked my heart constricting.

"Yes Ash, it's me." Everything seemed to freeze between us, the both of us staring at one-another. Then, I threw my arms forward, hugging the Pokémon close to my chest.

"We're finally together again." I whispered, tears running down my eyes. He gave a simple nod and made a small zapping noise as he brought the tendrils of electricity around me...

Kieron's POV:

I felt the rain striking my skin. I was in another battle with my father. A mock battle that is. We stared at each other from across the battlefield, with my eyes already glowing with aura. I could feel it flowing through me, melding my mind with nature.

"You ready for this son?" My old man asked, giving me a small grin. I gave the grin back, closing my eyes for a second as I felt my aura start to flow.

"I was born ready, pops." I said with a smirk, opening my eyes suddenly and sprinting towards him, aura encasing my fists. His eyes seemed to flash with a blue aura for a second, before he smacked his hands together, sending a column of smoke and dust my way. I dodged to the side, throwing my left fist forward at him.

"Too easy." He said with a smirk, making my eyes narrow. He threw his own aura-encased fist at me with blazing speed, making me step back. I didn't manage to hit him, causing me great annoyance. He kept throwing punches.

I dodged them all. Unlike our previous battles, I was able to dodge all of his hits. New confidence overtook me, and I started throwing my own punches.

He dodged them even better than I did. Before we could continue, both our fists close to one-another face, a loud explosion was heard. I looked at him in shock, while he looked in the direction with narrowed eyes. We looked at each other for a second before rushing to the direction where the explosion came from.

...

We came upon a clearing with a young girl and many people fighting. She didn't have any Pokémon though. My eyes widened as a purple hue was seen around her body.

"Aura?" I whispered, looking at her in shock. She seemed to be holding her own quite well, fighting the group with ease. I looked at my father for a second, watching as he seemed to be having an internal battle. We knew that in her state, she might attack us if she feels threatened. Although, the tide of battle could change very quickly. She may be hurt!

"I think..." He cut himself off, watching, as the young girl seemed to stumble. I knew as soon as that happened, the battle was no longer in her favour. With a quick look between the two of us, we rushed out from the cover of the trees, knocking two people back who were about to deal the finishing blow. While my father dealt with the attackers, I looked down at the girl. She was staring at me in shock and distrust, before looking towards my father. Her eyes widened as his aura wings sprung out from his back, feathers falling around us.

"You okay?" I asked kindly, holding my hand out for her. She stared at me in the eyes for a second, unnerving me slightly. She gave a small nod, putting her hand into mine as I helped her up. A shock went through both our bodies, making us look at each other in shock and curiosity. I didn't know at this moment in time, but we sealed a bond between us for life.

"A little help here." I heard my father grunt. I spun back around, charging up my fists with my aura as I shot forward, helping my father finish off the last of the attackers.

"Yah!" I shouted, throwing one last punch and defeating the last attacker. I let out a small sigh as I sat down on the ground, fatigue catching up to me. That was one of the hardest workouts I've ever had. I have no clue how long she had been fighting them, but that girl was definitely skilled.

"So..." I looked back to see her leaning down towards me, giving me an appraising look. Now that I was able to get a good look at her, she was rather beautiful. With flowing dark hair, dazzling green eyes and a small smile. She was indeed cute. She seemed to notice me staring, as she blushed slightly, before bonking me on the head. "Stop staring! It's rude." She scolded, making me flinch lightly.

"Haha, got yourself a girlfriend there son?" Goddammit! He always has to embarrass me! Her face lit up in a blush, giving him a withering stare. He just chuckled more before coming towards us. "What exactly happened out here anyway?" He asked, looking at her with a more serious look. She seemed to understand the situation, as she stood taller and gave the same look towards both of us.

"First of all, I'd like to thank you both for coming to my aid. That could have went much worse." She said, giving us both a small bow. I gave a kind small, simply giving a 'no problem' with a thumbs up. She giggled lightly at that, with my father giving his own smile. "Anyway, you two already know about aura, if your fighting style and use of it is anything to go by." We both gave her small nods, before I decided to ask something that had been bothering for a while now.

"How can you use aura exactly? The only people I know who can use aura is myself and my father." I said, looking at her curiously. She gave a small nod at this.

"Yes, there aren't many aura users left, I know that much. Apart from you two, I'm the only person I know who can use aura. Although, why I'm here..." She went quiet, small tears coming to her eyes. My eyes widened, already understanding what happened. "I was chased out of my town. My family want nothing to do with me. Those people we've knocked out; they're the townspeople I now." She said, a quiet sob escaping. I felt my heart clench, knowing exactly what she meant. My family lived in seclusion because we were chased out of our homes.

"What's your name?" My father asked softly, making me look at him. He didn't use that tone of voice often, only around my sisters. She looked at him, tears streaming down her face.

"My name? I'm Mia." She said quietly. To both our surprise, he pulled her into a gentle hug, making me smile softly.

"Don't worry Mia. You won't have to go through that again. Kieron and I both understand what you've been through." He said, rubbing her back lightly, the way a father would when comforting their child. I joined the hug, giving her a genuine smile when she looked between us. She seemed to be having an internal debate, before nodding and gave a watery smile, hugging herself closer to us.

"They won't be able to hurt you anymore. Do you want to come with us? We'll be able to give a family who understands you. We'll be able to help you learn more about aura." I said quietly after we all let go of each other. She looked at me in shock for a second, before thinking it through. Both my father and I gave her small smiles as she looked between us, before coming to a decision.

"Yes..." She whispered, tearing up lightly again.

I knew the day was going to be bad. There was a feeling of foreboding in the air. I looked towards Mia, my best friend. My sister in all but blood. She seemed to understand, as she gave me a small nod. I don't know what it was, but the air felt cold today.

"Something is happening." I looked towards the voice to see my father, standing there with his wings already out. I felt my body freeze up, knowing the situation had to be bad for him to be like this. I looked towards our house, seeing my mother and two sisters looking out in fear. I gave them all gentle smiles, hoping to calm them down. They looked at me for a second, before going away from the window, hiding in the protection of the house.

"Mr. Addams, what's that?" Mia asked quietly, making me turn. The fear I felt earlier increased tenfold, watching as two legendary Pokémon seemed to faze in from nowhere. I knew who these two were.

"A Darkrai and Latios?" I asked curiously, watching as they seemed to be waiting for something. The area was quiet, the three of us keeping our eyes peeled for an ambush. Mia and I had started using our aura sight, as my father had his shield ready. There was a clap of thunder, rain falling upon us. Something appeared within the darkness, a flash of lightning making its figure shine. I watched with narrowed eyes, as it got closer. The overwhelming power it was radiating was nearly on the same level as my father, and that made me truly fear for us.

"Well well well. I've finally found you bugs. You know, I don't particularly enjoy looking for my food. I'd rather it... Come to me." He was a man, exuding a sense of confidence. He was wearing a dark red cloak, covering the entirety of his body, with long greyish-blue hair. His face, while normally would look quite noble and courteous, had a scowl with 'crazy' eyes.

"What do you want here?" My father asked, getting straight down to business. I looked at him in apprehension. He didn't use this tone of voice very often, and he had a scowl on his face. He didn't seem to be feeling any fear, as he looked at this person. I gave him a small look, before turning to Mia. What I saw shocked me. She was cowering away, looking at him in fear.

"Mia?" I asked, walking towards her. She continued staring at this mystery person, repeating 'No, no, no' repeatedly. I looked towards my father, feeling fear overwhelm me again.

"It can't be..." I looked back at Mia, watching, as anger seemed to be entering her eyes. "You fucking scum!" She screamed suddenly, making me jump and bringing everyone's attention to her. "You couldn't just stop at my town huh?! You have to follow me to try and destroy everyone's lives who are around me?!" I looked at her in shock. In all of my time of knowing Mia, I had never seen her this hysterical.

"Calm down! Who is this Mia?!" I asked, shaking her lightly. She looked at me with tearful eyes, the anger still seen within.

"This beast is Tobias. He's the one who came to my town and turned everyone against me. He isn't a normal human. He can use aura, but it's tainted!" I felt my heart freeze in my chest, looking back towards this 'Tobias' to see him smirking at Mia. At that, I snapped.

"Bastard..." I whispered, sending multiple aura spheres towards him. He seemed a bit shocked at this for a second before activating a shield, like the one my father uses. Although...

"I see now that you are hostile. With an aura as tainted as yours, I don't have any qualms about ridding this world of you." My father stated, the epitome of calm. With a simple wave of his wand, multiple spheres were sent Tobias' way. He grunted lightly, feeling his shield crack under the pressure. Before he could recover, my father was directly in front of him, a sword in his hand. With a quick swing and stab, Tobias' shield cracked under the pressure, knocking him back. I thought the battle was over already, but Tobias seemed to become serious.

A glow appeared around him as his two Pokémon went on the offensive. They attacked my father without stopping. Luckily, he had spared with many Pokémon in his lifetime, so he was able to hold his own. Mia and I quickly joined, both of us throwing aura spheres in Darkrai's direction. It grunted as the attacks landed, while my father was able to get the upper hand on Latios, upper cutting it with ease. The Latios cried out lightly, falling back towards Tobias. Darkrai did the same, making the three of us group together. It was a 3v3 after all, and we didn't want him to get the upper hand.

"Worthy opponents indeed. I see that the girl has also increased in power. You could be a very big thorn in my side. So..." Tobias seemed to disappear suddenly, making us cry out in shock. We looked towards the two Pokémon to also see them gone.

"AGHHH!" No. Oh no...

"Sarah!" My father whispered. He flew to the house at breakneck speeds, Mia and I following close behind. I knew though, we would be too late...

"Hahahahaha!" A laugh seemed to echo around the forest, as we got to the house. My mother was there, on the floor, a gaping wound in her chest. Mia gasped beside me, tears flowing down her eyes. I looked at the scene, feeling my heart freeze over and break into pieces.

"You" I felt overwhelming power and anger beside me. My father. I had never felt anything like this before. He looked at Tobias with hate, his aura starting to turn a dark red. Tobias merely looked at him, a nasty smirk on his face. Latios and Darkrai both had my sisters in their clutches. They too were frozen in fear and shock, looking at my father with tearful eyes.

"Stand down now, or you precious daughters will suffer the same fate." Tobias gave the ultimatum. I felt my heart clench, this time in overwhelming anger, like my father. I looked at my hands, noticing they also had a red hue to them. I gave the two Pokémon a pointed look. They seemed hesitant, but didn't back down. My father seemed to notice the state I was in, as his eyes widened slightly.

"Calm down son. If you let your aura become corrupted, you'll become like this thing." My father said, attempting to calm himself slightly. I didn't hear this though.

*BA-DUM*

*BA-DUM*

The only thing I could feel was anger. This scum came into our house, murdered my mother and was now holding my sisters hostage. He wasn't going to get away with it. I shocked the two Pokémon, rushing towards them with my aura increasing my speed, crashing into the two Pokémon. They cried out in pain, losing their grip on my sisters. I grabbed them both, appearing next to my father in the blink of an eye.

"Dammit!" Tobias cursed, looking at the two Pokémon in anger. "You'll see the error of your ways when we get back. Your uselessness is starting to aggravate me." I felt anger fill me again, hearing the way he was talking to the two Pokémon who were supposed to be revered, looked up to. I now felt sorry for them, as they seemed to cower away from him; he was obviously doing something to make them obey him.

"You disgust me." My father said simply, throwing another aura sphere at Tobias. This was bigger than any aura sphere I had ever seen, knocking Tobias back before he could erect a shield. He looked at my father with hateful eyes, before looking towards my two sisters. With a wave of his hand and malicious grin, he suddenly appeared before me. Before I could move, I felt a sharp pain overwhelm my body, looking down to see a sword impaling the three of us together. It went straight through their chests, with the sword going through my side and out of my back. This all happened before my father could even move, watching in shock as we fell to the ground. I felt the world go dark, having trouble keeping my eyes open.

Normal POV:

Isaac let out a guttural roar, his aura turning the same color as Tobias as he rushed towards him. Things worsened though. With only himself against Tobias and the two Pokémon, even an Aura Guardian can be overwhelmed.

He continued battling the three, getting more and more fatigued. Soon, he along with Tobias fell to the ground, with the two Pokémon barely able to stay in the air. Mia watched all of this, unable to move. With a hand covering her mouth and tears streaming down her face, she was unable to do anything but watch the carnage unfold. Tobias and Isaac both stood slowly, with the two Pokémon falling to the ground, exhausted. Isaac looked at Tobias with hate-filled eyes, charging up one final aura sphere. Tobias though, had different plans. He turned towards Mia, shooting multiple aura spheres, which seemed to turn into blades, as they got closer.

"NO!" Isaac roared, firing his charged aura sphere as his wings sprouted from his back, rushing in front of Mia. With a cry of pain, Tobias' left and right leg were completely obliterated, sending him careening into the wall. Isaac felt the blades pierce his skin, unable to set up an aura shield in time. He gave a short grunt, before falling to the floor. Mia could only watch as the man she saw as a father, fell to the floor.

"Ugh..." Kieron groaned lightly, waking up from his unconsciousness. He pulled himself from the blade, looking towards his father, now on the ground, with Mia kneeling besides him. He looked towards Tobias, watching as he returned his two Pokémon and teleporting out of the house. Kieron looked at his sisters, feeling tears come to his eyes as they stared at the ceiling, lifeless. Unseeing.

"Why?" He asked, falling to his knees, forgetting about the wound on his side. He looked at the two, their once beautiful and innocent faces covered in blood and stuck in a constant expression of pain and fear. He lifted the two, bringing them towards his father and laying them down next to him gently. He looked towards his mother, the same expression of pain and fear on her face too. It was becoming too much for him; watching his family die in front of his eyes would break him. He brought his mother to the three, laying her down next to them. He knelt down next to Mia, feeling his heart clench in sadness and anger as he remembered who did this.

"Tobias will pay..." He said, his voice hollow and face devoid of emotion. Mia let more tears fall, looking at her family in all but blood.

"Kieron..." Isaac said quietly, making Kieron look at him in shock. "You can survive this without me Kieron." Isaac whispered, tears running down his own face. Kieron looked at him, the damn breaking as he let his body fall, lying next to his dying father. "And that is all I want. For you and Mia to survive this." He said, his breath becoming more laboured. Kieron and Mia both looked at him, their tears starting to dry. "We will be waiting for you, with open arms. Don't let this stop you. Make the world see who Tobias really is." His breath cut out, as he closed his eyes.

And the man who was a loving father. An Aura Guardian. One of the protectors of this world, with one of the purest souls, let out his last breath. His body, once full of life and energy, fell into the dark abyss.

"We will father. We will make Tobias pay, and will be together once again." Kieron whispered, looking at his family one last time before standing. Mia stood with him, their minds made up.

"Tobias will pay." They both thought, walking out of the house slowly, never to return.

Normal POV:

"You will not take another person I love away from me!" Ash cried, getting in front of Serena as a shield, brighter than any he had ever erected came to life. He held off Tobias' attack, looking towards Kieron and Mia. They both seemed to snap out of whatever memory they were in, looking at Tobias with glowing eyes.

"I won't let you kill someone again." Kieron whispered, an aura sword appearing in his hand as he threw it down, cutting Tobias' arm clean off as he continued pushing forward, striking him multiple times.

"You've already taken enough lives away. I will not let you take another." Mia's voice radiated with the same power Kieron's usually did, erecting her first ever aura shield as she threw multiple aura spheres towards Tobias. She quickly rushed to Kieron's side, hitting Tobias with her shield, knocking him further back.

"We're all together now. The strongest aura users of our generation. We will purge the world of you, and bring peace back!" Ash cried, his wings sprouting from his back as he rushed towards Tobias, knocking him back into the wall.

"Heh, you kids sure have gotten strong. Although, I wonder what the League will think when they find out what you've done to me." Tobias grunted as Ash pushed his head further into the wall, causing cracks to start appearing. Cynthia and the others walked towards him, with Serena staying to the back of the group. She was being hugged between Hilda and Elena, tears dripping from her eyes lightly at the terrifying experience she just went through.

"The League won't do a thing. I know what you are now. You've shown your true colours to me, the rest of my group, the trainers currently gathered around us, and the footage caught on cameras." Cynthia stated, her voice hollow face emotionless as she stared at Tobias. He gave her a scowl, causing Ash to punch him in the gut. Hard.

"Don't even think about it." Ash hissed, looking at Tobias with narrowed eyes. Tobias looked back at him with a smirk, looking around at the group of trainers who had gathered. He gave one last grin towards the others, before disappearing suddenly, letting out a blinding flash of red.

"Goddammit he got away again!" Kieron cursed. Mia held onto him tightly, both their aura calming down, making them feel fatigued from the energy it took for the two of them to use their aura earlier.

"We won't have to worry about him anymore." Cynthia stated, causing the others to look at her. "While not many people know about aura, the League, specifically Mr. Goodshow, has troves of knowledge about the subject. We know that to have an aura like Tobias', you either have to be in a state of rage, or you have murdered someone in cold blood. He won't be able to bother us any-." Ash cut her off here, allowing his own aura to calm down.

"He'll never just leave us alone. He'll be thinking of a plan to get back into the League. He has been after Kieron, Mia and I for too long. Now he'll be after all of you too. Maybe it was a bad idea coming back into civilization. Now he'll be after everyone who means something to me." Ash whispered, his heart clenching. The others looked at him for a moment, contemplating on what to do. If what he was saying is the truth, would they ever truly be rid of Tobias?

AN: Oh well, that's the end of the chapter there. While you may not think much has happened, I went into A LOT of backstory for Ash, Kieron and Mia. Also, I hope you enjoy the different scenes I put into this chapter. I tried to go for some epic, and some sad scenes. What do you guys think? Was it done well? Also, I never imagined to actually get this many words written so quickly. The words just seemed to flow into my head. I got this chapter done, in about 6 hours I'd say. So, be sure the battle between Cynthia and Elena will happen in the next chapter. Also, don't worry about Tobias. He's a slimy bastard and the group definitely haven't seen the last of him yet.

Now that I'm back into the grove of writing, I'll try to get one chapter done a week. Then, once I've finished this story, I'll probably bring all of my attention to my other story before thinking about writing any sequels. There probably will be a sequel for this story though, if you guys want to see it enough. So, I think that's all I have to say for this AN really. I'll see you guys in the next chapter. Peace!
