New Mission
Chris blindly wrestled with who (or what) ever it was that had tackled him, distantly hearing gunfire in his ringing ears. When his eyes had finally recovered enough to vaguely make out his attacker, he seized their head and twisted with all his might. After a short but desperate struggle, that saw Chris's head slammed into the ground, the attacker's head was yanked at an unnatural angle with a dull snap. Stumbling to his feet, the bulky agent pulled his side arm and surveyed the area as best he could with his still slightly blurry vision and lightly ringing ears.
"Drop it!" a stern voice ordered. Chris turned to see a man in tactical gear, the Umbrella logo prominent on his shoulder, holding a gun to Sheva's head, another NU soldier pointing a rifle at Chris. "Or your pretty negress dies."
Chris stared the men down, felling proud of Sheva when he noticed one of Neo-Umbrella men had a bloody nose and the two dead...creatures around her and her captors. The agent hesitated, weighing his options; obey the NU man's orders, continue the stand off, or attempt to shoot the NU operatives. None were particularly appealing. Finally, Chris reluctantly lowered his weapon, giving Sheva a comforting/apologetic look. "Okay," he called his partner's captor, "now let her go."
"I don't think so, big boy," the Neo-Umbrella man holding Sheva said as be began to pull her along, "Gotta chopper to catch. We see you following us, or any of your BSAA buddies, you'll be cleaning her brains up with a sponge."
Chris reflexively reached for his weapon, but stopped when the rifle wielding NU soldier fired a warning shot between his legs. As Sheva began to struggle against her capturers, Chris seethed, unable to do anything but watch helplessly.

"Keep runnin', buddy!" Keith yelled as he fled down the mine, multi-eyed attackers on his tail. He and Quint fired several rounds at their attackers and rounded a corner into a clean, sterile hallway where Juliet and Jill where waiting.
"I dunno what we did to piss these guys off," Quint panted, "but they are REALLY pissed off!"
Garbled shouting could be heard growing progressively closer from down the mine. The three agents pointed their weapons nervously down the hallway. Just as the first multi-eyed creature rounded the Juliet confidently stepped forward and locked her legs, calmly saying, "I got this...Chainsaw Blaster!"
At moment, Juliet's chainsaw bucked as the blade seemed to disappear and a gun barrel emerged from the body, a drum magazine emerging from the side. The cheerleader fired on the nearest monster, blasting his head clean off. As the stunned BSAA agents looked on, the young blonde let loose a barrage of fire, blasting the luckless creatures apart with each shot.
At last, the attackers backed off, retreating back down the tunnel. Juliet changed her weapon back to normal and turned back her partners. Quint was the first to somewhat recover, "Wha-what the hell...?"
"Yeah, yeah she blew your minds, Julie does that. Just roll with it." Jill said, shouldering her shotgun, she gestured to the bound NU member, "You two grab that guy. We can't go back up, we'll have to head further down and see where Mr. Jones' card takes us."
Keith dragged Jones to his feet and forced him down the hall, while Quint made sure no new creatures came up behind them. At last, the ad hoc team arrived at a sealed door. Noticing a place to slide a keycard, Jill used Jones' card whereupon the door slid open. Inside was a kind of laboratory/command room combination. Keith sat the captive NU member down and both Quint and Juliet marveled at the computer system.
"They've got Shop to chop! Now's a great time to do some shopping!" Juliet said, excitedly rushing to the terminal. Quint, on the other hand, marveled at the system's advanced software.
As Juliet scrolled the new items available on her favorite site, Jill turned to the boys, "Quint, see if you can use their system to get in touch with our people, then see what intel Neo-Umbrella haves left for us."
With her teammates occupied, Jill busied herself looking through the notebook she'd taken from Jones, finding it contained several references to an experimental new BOW (BW) called 'J'avo,' presumably the kind they'd just met, as well as Jones's shopping list, then Quint spoke up.
"Okay!" the nerd loudly proclaimed, "I couldn't get base camp, but I got us in touch with Redfield!"
Jill quickly pocketed the notebook and moved toward the monitor, seeing that Quint had set up a system similar to Leon's picture phone. She ignored Quint's muttering of 'Yer welcome' and spoke into the monitor. "Chris, we've been chased down into the mines by some new BWs, we've got a prisoner and we're safe for the moment, but we might need backup. What's your situation?"
"The bastards took Sheva." Chris said after a short pause.
"...what?"
"Two Neo-Umbrella bastards, they jumped us and dragged Sheva off," Chris paused again, "They would've killed her if I tried anything, said they were heading off by helicopter."
"Find out where that helo is and where it's going now!" Jill ordered Quint. As the computer whiz went to work on another monitor, Jill turned back to her old friend. "Chris, I'll handle getting Sheva back, you get back to basecamp."
"No way am I-"
"Jill out." the blonde agent cut her longtime friend off, then glanced over Quint's shoulder, "How's it coming?"
"It says they have a hanger in the top level," Quint answered, "That's gotta be where they're leavin' from. As for where it's going, that'll take a little while."
"Can you figure out how to get there from here?"
"Course."
"Good, send the route to my GPS. You and Keith stay here and let basecamp know what's going on," Jill ordered, she gathered her equipment and turned to her partner, "C'mon, Julie, we've got a new mission."
"Just a second!" Juliet said over her shoulder, she added on more item to her shopping chart and logged off. Her business complete, Juliet grabbed her chainsaw and followed Jill out the door. Consulting her GPS, Jill lead Juliet done the pristine hallways, eventually leading to an elevator. Once they were both inside, Jill pressed the button to the appropriate floor.
On the way up, Juliet looked to Jill with concern, "This Sheva must a pretty good friend if you're so worried."
"It's...uh...bit more complicated then that," Jill replied hesitantly
"More complicated, what's that mean?"
Jill glanced at the cheerleader uncertainly. She liked Juliet, but wasn't sure how much she was comfortable sharing just yet. "It's a long story, but the short version is that Sheva helped me when she didn't have too. I was nothing to her, but instead of escaping when she had the chance, Sheva risked her life to help Chris save me"Even though I put up a hell of a fight. "Call it debt or gratitude, or whatever you want, but I have to help her."
"Don't worry, Jill," Juliet reassured, "I've got plenty of experience with rescues."
Jill allowed herself a smirk.
