About an hour later, everyone found themselves in the main hall of the DWMA. The Strawhats, the DWMA gang along with Lord Death were atop the stage at the back of the room, standing before the rest of the DWMA staff and students along with the missing children and their families. Lord Death cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention.

"My people. Tonight is a night of victory and remembrance. The Toymaker Annabelle took many lives in her attempt to defeat us and we were not without casualties. Several family members lowered their heads. "But it was not in vain. Thanks to our brave and virtuous meisters and weapons our children have been saved from a terrible fate. You may not know it, but it is these young souls that are the true life of this city. For without them this city has no future. No one for those who fight and protect to pass on what they've learned to the next generation. So a round of applause for our meisters and weapons. The crowd cheered gratefully as the DWMA gang stepped forward and bowed in gratitude before Lord Death continued.

"But it is not only they who deserve our gratitude. For we have gained a formidable ally and friend. The Straw Hat Pirates. For without their help we may have lost many of our comrades to the enemy. Captain Monkey D Luffy and his crew risked their lives to save our children and they deserve just as much thanks." The crowd cheered and whistled again as the crew bowed. "Captain Luffy? Would the future King of the Pirates like to say a few words?" Luffy glanced at Lord Death before he stepped forward to look at the crowd. His eyes scanned every face before he took a deep breath.

"LET'S PARTY!" he hollered.

"YAHOOOO! I second that!" Black Star praised before the crowd broke into yet another cheer signalling the beginning of the celebration.

Brook stood centre stage, a single spotlight illuminating him, his eye sockets hidden by his hat as he strummed his guitar gently to stir his audience before he let out a rock star's scream.

"YOW! EVERBODY SAY 'LET'S GO!'" he shouted.

"LET'S GO!" everyone in the room cheered.

"THEN LET'S MAKE SOME RESONANCE!" Brook shouted before he struck his guitar.

(A.N. You know where this is going so play the song)

The stage lit up as Brook played his guitar revealing two of Tsubaki's shadow puppets playing a keytar and drum kit again (the dark arm had taken a liking to Brook's music). And much to the audience's surprise, Lord Death was also present, playing his mandolin. Kid felt his jaw hit the floor in shock before he covered his face in embarrassment.

"Two become one our souls have been connected,
A bond that's stronger than word~!
And now in sync we scream our fates will come together,
And it will not go unheard~!" Brook and Lord Death sang as they played a solo earning cheers from the crowd who began jumping and punching the air.

"Locking eyes becoming intertwined,
You'll be sharing your fate with mine~!
Side by side we'll battle through the night,
And soon enough we'll find our way~!"

Several couples began dancing to the song including Luffy and Nami, Zoro and Robin, Crona and Maka and Black Star and Tsubaki.

"When the sun has set, we'll battle through nightmares,
We won't give up~.
I will stay by your side as we slip into madness~."

Brook played the six notes from the beginning just as Ragnarok burst out of Crona's back, flashing the 'rock on' sign with both hands while sticking out his tongue.

"YEEEAAAHHH! ROCK THEIR WORLD!" the demon screamed.

"Two become one our souls have been connected,
A bond that's stronger than words~!
And now in sync we scream our fates will come together,
And it will not go unheard~!"

"I-I-I could care less where it is you came from,
Because we see what's waiting ahead~!
I knew from the first time that we became connected,
I'll be with you till the end~!" Brook ended the song with another guitar solo as flames burst from the stage, before the audience erupted like a volcano.

"GOOD NIGHT DEATH CITY!" Brook thanked.

"VICTORY VICTORY!" Lord Death cheered flashing the V sign with his large fingers earning laughs from the crowd and a groan from Kid. While the band began playing requests, the gang went about their usual party antics. Nami and Zoro found themselves competing against Stein and Sid in a double team drinking contest. The swordsman chose to challenge the zombie due to the fact it's hard for one to get drunk when they're dead so he seemed like the perfect opponent for one as enduring as Zoro.

"Hey Swordsman, your face is looking a bit red there" Sid commented with a slight tip in his laugh. "You look like a strawberry." This earned several 'ooooohs' and 'burns' from the crowd. Zoro smirked.

"I've heard better form the cook. And a strawberry's better than looking like a Smurf on steroids." More cheers arose from the crowd as the two men continued their beverage battle. Nami and Stein on the other hand seemed to be taking it a bit easier. The latter let out a wobbly laugh as he comically drank his tenth glass by pouring it into his mouth form about a foot in the air, surprisingly without spilling.

"You better finish yours before I do~" he giggled only for Nami to grin at him.

"Nice try, Professor. But never attempt to trick a drinker of my calibre with a façade."

"Clever girl." Stein murmured dropping his goofy smile revealing he wasn't drunk at all. "I was able to fool a witch with that trick. Then you'll know this isn't over."

"It's just part of the fun." Nami said as they chinked glasses. "So bring it on! Hey how 'bout we turn up the heat! I'm drinking piss over here!" she shouted to the crowd who cheered in response. Maka, who was observing the group smiled at their enjoyment before she turned to see Crona sitting at one of the tables gazing at his palm. Curious, she wandered over to see what he was going. As she got closer she saw that he seemed to be concentrating.

"Crona?" the demon swordsman yelped in surprise when he heard her. "Sorry I startled you." Maka grinned sheepishly as she sat next to him. "I just couldn't help but notice you looked like you were trying to do something."

"Yes, I was." Crona confirmed. "I'm trying to see what abilities I've gained. Annabelle added some of Chopper's rumble balls to Ragnarok after she removed him from me. I was able to gain control of my demon form and when I was fighting that black blood doll I managed to temporarily release Ragnarok in order to overpower her. I think this might be a new level for the both of us.

"Wow. You should tell Stein and Marie about it just to be on the safe side." Maka said.

"Oh they already know. But I'm sure I can deal with it." Crona said before smiling. "Wanna see something neat?" he then took out a pocket knife and cut his palm before a blob of black blood emerged from the wound and landed on the floor. Maka seemed confused at first but then she gasped then the blob began to change shape, moulding itself into a sort of gingerbread man shape as it wobbly got to its feet before a large white X and ping pong ball eyes appeared on the head along with a pair of white mittens at the end of the arms.

"Ta-dah!" it said in a familiar voice striking a pose.

"Ragnarok?!" Maka gaped.

"In the lacking flesh, bookworm." The demon sword grinned. "Check it out! I CAN WALK!" he cheered as he began to dance around the pair.

"How is he doing that?!"

"We think it's because of the rumble balls. They're designed to create transformations and since they were introduced directly to Ragnarok, I think he might be able to temporarily separate from me and take on new forms." Crona explained.

"Damn this is better than candy!" Ragnarok laughed who was now cartwheeling before leaping onto his Meister's shoulder. "You have no idea how great this feels! As soon as this party's over I'm skipping this town and going to live in Japan! I hear they have some of the best sweets around! And best of all, I don't have to drag this pansy with me! So long, losers!" he cackled before dashing off to the buffet table.

"I don't think he has that much freedom." Maka doubted. "You do both still share the same life force so there must be a limited distance."

"Let him have fun. This is the most freedom he's ever had in his life. It's okay to let him dream a bit." Crona smiled as they watched Ragnarok jumping from table to table, snatching as much food as he could carry.

"Hey, Crona!" the pair looked to see Mark and Will running towards them.

"Hey you two." Maka greeted. "You must be very happy to be home safe."

"Yeah, thanks to all of you." Will said.

"But it's you we should be thanking the most, Crona." Mark said. "You came all by yourself and even gave yourself up to the enemy just so you could save us."

"It was nothing. I just wanted to take responsibility. It was my fault you two were taken away in the first place." Crona said solemnly. Maka was about to deny his claim but Will beat her to the punch.

"That's not true!" he barked. "There was no way you could've known the toys you got us were evil. You just wanted to show you cared about us. It's me and Mark who should apologise for thinking you were a wimp and a loser."

"That's right." Mark said. "You're not a loser or a chicken. You're brave, kind-hearted and loyal and…we wish we realised that sooner." The brothers glanced at the ground remorsefully. "What we're trying to say is, we're sorry for not giving you a chance and…do you think maybe we can start over?" Crona looked at the wolf pups before smiling as reached out and ruffled both of their heads.

"Of course we can. All I wanted was to be just as much a brother to you as I am to Spike." Mark and Will beamed at him before they tackled him with a hug.

"Well you are now, Big Brother!" Will laughed.

"The best!" Mark added. Crona looked surprised at first until a trembling smile tugged at his mouth as he hugged them back, Maka wiping her eyes at the touching scene, before they felt another pair of arms envelop them, which belonged to none other than Spike.

"It's about time you dopes!" she said as she squeezed the three of them. "I've waited forever for you three to finally get along!" the three boys grinned as they returned their sister's hug.

"Hey Spike!" the werewolf turned her head to see Shino waving to her. "Could you come here a moment, please?" Spike looked at him curiously before getting up and following him, Mark, Will and Crona looking on just as curious before they smirked at each other and began tailing them, not before Crona turned to face Maka and put his finger to his lips as she giggled and returned the gesture. But at that moment she heard giggling and turned to see Blair who was now dancing with Sanji, the latter in his natural love-struck state.

"Oh I missed this, Blair~! I still remember the last time we danced~!" he swooned.

"Oh you flirt!" Blair laughed. "You really know how to treat a lady." Maka smiled at them when she heard a growling sound not too far away, which when she looked was revealed to be coming from Spirit who was glaring daggers at Sanji.

"Uh-oh." The scythe meister said knowing what her Dad would do if he got within arm's length of Sanji. "Looks like it's up to me." She said as she began to approach Spirit who was starting to get up from his table.

"Why that bleach blonde, playboy blowhard." He snarled before he heard Maka clear her throat. "Oh, hi Maka."

"Hey, Papa." Maka said, blushing a little embarrassed. "Look, uh…you looked a little lonely so, do you maybe wanna…dance?" Spirit felt his jaw drop at the request. Even though he had improved his relationship with Maka a lot more than what it used to be, it still came as a shock to receive such a golden ticket from his daughter. He was about to explode with joy, but quickly restrained himself; knowing it would likely embarrass Maka so he managed to keep a straight posture.

"I would be honoured, Maka dear." He smiled thankfully. The scythe meister returned the smile and offered her hand which Spirit gently took in his own before they began to dance.

"Wow. I thought he was gonna scream and puke like he did last time. Guess he's learning to hold back." Maka thought.

"What is it, Shino?" Spike asked as the pair found themselves seated at one of the tables away from the crowd.

"Well, um…I was wondering if we…" Shino began, rubbing the back of his head in a bashful manner.

"If we what?"

"If we picked up where we, left off." Shino finished. Spike seemed confused at first before she realised and her cheeks turned red.

"Y-You mean when we," she tried to say.

"W-Well I mean, if you'd be cool with it." Shino said nervously.

"Shino. I know I trust you and everything but…did you really mean what you said? About how we won't stop being partners even after I'm a Death Scythe?" Shino looked at his weapon partner before his nervous face disappeared and he turned serious.

"Why don't I show you?" He said before he reached out and gently cupped her cheek, inviting her. Spike felt her cheeks grow warmer at both his touch and the look in his eyes which she soon followed as they began to close the gap between each other. Her eyelids grew heavy and she gradually pursed her lips before they eventually touched Shino's. Spike momentarily opened her eyes from the shock but they soon closed again as she wrapped her arms around his neck. After a few moments they separated to breathe their faces flushed. Spike smiled at her meister before she giggled at the smudge of purple on his bottom lip. Shino noticed before chuckling as he wiped off the lipstick, but that was when they heard three more stifled laughs from nearby. The pair turned their heads to see Mark, Will and Crona peeking at them from behind a statue.

"GUYS!" Spike barked in embarrassment.

"You looooove him~!" Mark wooed.

"Just wait til the others hear about this!" Will laughed.

"And just what are you doing with them, Crona?!" Shino growled.

"Payback for Spike spying on me and Maka during our first kiss!"

"Why you little!" Spike roared as she began to chase her three brothers. Shino looked on at the spectacle before chuckling.

"Don't rough them up too much, Spike!" he said, when he felt another presence behind him. He looked over his shoulder to see Juliet standing there, her arms folded. His pupils shrank as his throat went dry.

"Mr Kurohana." She greeted.

"H-Hello Ms Clayborne." He smiled nervously.

"I couldn't help but notice the, 'development' in your bond with Sicily." The White Witch said. Shino gulped.

"Well looks like I'm gonna die. And just after my life started." He thought. "Ma'am I assure you, I wasn't trying anything funny. Spike and I just kinda…I mean we…" he struggled to get the right words out when he heard Juliet chuckle.

"Calm down. I was just teasing you. Honestly it's about time." She said.

"A-About time?"

"Yes. I always hoped she'd come out of her shell and meet a nice man to treat her proper. You took her in when she had nowhere to go. You felt nothing against her for her differences. You liked her for who she was and you even let her brothers stay as well showing that you cared about her family as well. You're everything my little Sicily deserves." Shino looked at Juliet, surprised at first before he smiled and gave a sigh.

"Phew. For a second there I thought you were gonna rip me apart in an act of blind protection. No offense!" he quickly added.

"Oh no, of course not. I'm not as overbearing as Spirit." Juliet reassured. "But as a parent, I must give you the traditional threat of my wrath if you do anything to hurt her. Nothing personal." She smiled sweetly which made Shino shiver a little.

"Uh, thank you?" he replied. Spike meanwhile continued to chase Crona and the twins, weaving in and out of the way of the other guests. That was until Will bumped into someone causing the group to come to a halt.

"Hey, watch where you going, road hog!" they said.

"That's road wolf to you!" Will barked back before he saw that the person he'd bumped into was one of the missing children. He had greyish brown hair with a few spiky strands at the front.

"Sorry about that." Mark said as he helped the boy up. "We were kind of on the run." He jerked his thumb behind him to Spike who was tapping her foot.

"Don't think this is over you two. You're in big trouble when this party's over. Hey where's Crona?"

"Oh he already took off before you could notice." Will said.

"Why that…It's supposed to be the older brother who rubs off on the little brothers. Not the other way round." Spike sighed. "I guess I can let it go for tonight. We've been through enough as is." With that she went back to look for Shino.
"Well she's right about going through a lot." Will said.

"I'll say. That sock snake thing sure was scary. I thought you were gonna die when it tied you up, Mark." The boy said.

"Yeah there's no way I'm gonna sleep toni…hey." Mark said a little confused. "How do you know about that? And how do you know my name? I didn't tell you my name." Will also looked puzzled by this and surprisingly so did the boy.

"Hey you're right. I've never met you before and I certainly didn't fight a giant sock monster. But for some weird reason I feel like I did. Was it a dream?" Mark and will both looked at the boy in shock before they both broke into huge smiles of disbelief.

"Marty?! Is that you?!" Mark said.

"What? Who's Marty?" the boy asked.

"It's us! Mark and Will! We met in the citadel when your soul was trapped inside a wooden puppet! We called you Marty cause you couldn't remember your real name!" Will explained. "Hey Angela! Get over here!"

"What is it?!" Angela asked hurrying over. "Who's this?"

"Angela it's Marty!" Mark said. "This is his real body!"

"IT IS?!" Angela gawked. "But how can that be?!"

"He remembers my name and when I got attacked by the Seamstress!" Mark said.

""Don't you remember?!" Will asked the boy who looked even more confused.
"Here let me try something." Angela said "Miss Juliet has been helping me with my magic. If he already remembers a little this should be easy." She said before she placed her glowing palm against the boy's head who flinched a little before his eyes widened.

"Will? Mark? And Angela?" he said. "It's…It's coming back to me. The citadel. Crona saving us. The huge fight against Luffy. YES! I REMEMBER!"

"You got your body back!" Angela cheered as the three kids went to hug their friend.

"You kept your promise." Marty smiled tearfully.

"Well of course we did." Mark said.

"What are friends for?" Will asked rhetorically.

"Well then if you are my friends, then you should know my real name." Marty said as he pulled away. "It's Timothy." He introduced extending his hand. "Or Tim for short if you prefer." The kids smiled as they shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Timothy." Angela smiled sweetly.

"I can't thank you enough. I thought I was gonna be made of wood forever." Tim said.

"Hey we're DWMA. We never leave a lost soul behind." Mark said proudly. "And when I'm old enough I'm gonna save even more just like I did today." Will shook his head with a smile while Angela gushed over him with heart filled eyes. "Come on! We've gotta show you to the others." Mark added as they headed off to reintroduce their new friend.

Concurrently, Kid, who'd have enough of watching his Father display his mandolin skill, was resting his injured leg at one of the tables, though he felt the need to rest both legs on separate chairs for obvious reasons.

"Hey, is this seat taken?" he saw Liz approaching him, her stomach heavily bandaged.

"You shouldn't move around much with that wound, Liz." Kid cautioned.

"All the more reason for me to join you." She smiled. "If your 'friend' doesn't mind." She added pointing to the spare seat he had his uninjured leg on. Kid glanced at it before he moved his leg over to the chair he had his casted one propped on so his weapon partner could sit beside him.

"Patty told me what you did after I blacked out." She said. "I only wish I'd seen it."

"I still can't fully believe it." Kid commented.

"I know! I mean you beat that warrior toy with just one pistol and while hopping on one leg. And if that wasn't enough you ripped off one of your own sleeves as a bandage."

"Yeah. I just felt so angry when I saw you get stabbed like that. But, I felt like I was angry with myself more than I was at the one who stabbed you. If I'd fought back earlier you probably wouldn't have gotten hurt."

"Hey but look at what you did. You pulled off everything I just mentioned without batting an eye. That goes against every rule in your symmetry book. Now you see how much stronger you can be without symmetry and if you keep it up you'll not only be great Reaper but you'll surpass Lord Death. I'm proud of you, Kid." Liz smiled gently placing her hand on top of his. Kid looked at it upon feeling her touch before he smiled at her.

"Thank you. That's a nice thought, Liz." He said.

"Just the honest truth." Liz smiled standing up, but not before bending down to his ear as she walked passed him "And that includes loving you too much to lose you." Before Kid could reply though, she kissed him on the cheek and walked off, winking at him over her shoulder as he spun round to look at her in surprise. He looked on for a few moments before he smiled warmly at her as he touched his cheek.

"Maybe I can be greater without symmetry." He thought.

Turning to another area of the party, Vanellope and Kutaro were spending some time together with Alex. The former was checking her sibling over revealing she wasn't quite over the shock from when he got electrocuted before.

"Are you sure you're ok? No jolts in your muscles?" she asked.

"No."

"Is your hair standing on end?"

"No."

"Are you numb?"

"No."

"How many fingers am I holding up?" Alex asked.

"I'm fine, guys! Katherine fixed me up."

"Well ok if you're sure. Sorry it's just you gave me such a scare."

"Hey it's alright. I'm alive and that's all that matters. I'm just glad I protected you and the others, sis."

"Just doing your job, right Flame Brain?" Alex grinned pulling off Kutaro's turban to ruffle his wild hair earning a snicker from him.

"Hey you guys!" the three looked to see Nami approaching holding a large bag over her shoulder. She glanced at it when she noticed the others staring. "Oh my winnings form all the losing betters."

"You beat Stein?! Colour me impressed." Alex said.

"Yeah it was really close though. I am not looking forward to tomorrow morning." Nami groaned at the thought of her impending hangover. "Oh and by the way. You still have to pay up for wrecking my Clima Tact."

"Yeah-yeah I hear ya." Alex muttered as he dug into his pocket and pulled out some loose change which he tossed to Nami. "Genuine alien money. That's gotta be worth loads back in your world."

"Pray that your right or I'm coming back for you." Nami smirked as she set down her winnings.

"Wow. There's gotta be a king's ransom in there." Kutaro awed at the bulging bag of money/treasure/personal belongings that were bet.

"All in a day's work for the Cat Burglar." Nami smiled proudly before turning to the fire/earth mage. "How are you feeling, Kutaro?"

"Don't worry. Those two gave me a pretty pressing check-up." He chuckled.

"Oh so this is the thanks I get for worrying about you?" Vanellope pouted.

"Hey any of you feel up for dancing?" Nami suggested. "You don't get better dance music than from Brook and he's one night only."

"Ah I'm not much of a dancer." Alex shrugged.

"Yeah and I'm planning on raiding the desert table with Ragnarok." Vanellope said.

"How 'bout you, Kutaro? Wanna dance?" Nami smiled offering her hand. "It's the least I can do to thank you for saving me, twice." Kutaro blushed a little at the offer. Alex and Vanellope caught sight of this as they grinned at each other before the latter gave him push towards the navigator.

"Go get her, hotshot." Alex laughed before they scampered off laughing.

"HEY! Don't leave me hanging!" Kutaro panicked.

"What's the matter? Don't you wanna dance?" Nami asked.

"W-Wouldn't you rather dance with Luffy? He's your boyfriend after all." Kutaro said.

"Well I would." Nami began before her eyes half lidded in annoyance and she glanced to her left. "But he's with his 'secret lover' right now." Kutaro followed her gaze to see Luffy lying next to the food table, his body ballooned up to at least five times its original size and he wasn't showing any sign of slowing down from eating. Onlookers were gaping at the spectacle and some of the kids were bouncing on his bloated stomach.

"So, with him occupied I need another dance partner." Nami finished.

"W-Why don't you ask, Soul. He's a much better dancer than I am." Kutaro debated.

"Hey there's no need to be shy. It's just a party. And if you're not that great a dancer I can teach you."

"No it's not that." Kutaro muttered.

"Oh are you afraid Luffy will get jealous? Don't worry he knows I would never cheat on him, let alone with someone your age. That's just silly. And if it's Sanji you're scared of, Blair's got him pretty occupied right now and even if he does blow a lovesick fuse I've got your back. Just cause he's jealous doesn't mean you did anything wrong."

"No it's just…well he was sort of right. In a way."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, the thing is…it's kind of embarrassing but…even though I'm still young, I'm already attracted to girls. When we came to Death City Maka, Tsubaki and the other girls started doting on me and Vanellope and I started getting shy because of it. So I decided to be well mannered around them so Soul and the other guys wouldn't accuse me of being a pervert or taking advantage of my age."

"Oh, I see. You're an early bloomer, huh?"

"Yeah. I know it's weird." Kutaro murmured with deep embarrassment as he held his arm.

"What's so weird about it?" Nami asked, surprising him. "I mean so what if you're growing up a little quicker than others? I mean you're brave, protective and polite and you obviously care about women if you're gentlemanly around them."

"Really? You don't think I'm weird?"

"Of course not. To be honest I kind of understand now why you were so shy when I hugged you back then." She grinned sheepishly. "But here's how I see it. If you're already protecting, respecting and being polite around us girls as you are now, by the time your Luffy's age just think of how much of a bachelor you'll have become? I bet the ladies will be breaking your door down to date you." Kutaro blushed.

"You really think so?"

"If you keep being the fiery little knight you are now, I know so." Nami smiled before she cupped the fire/earth mage's chin and smooch! She planted a kiss on both of his cheeks, causing the flame above his head to turn bright pink and shape itself into a heart. "That's for saving me. Twice." She grinned. "So? Can I ask for that dance now?" Kutaro stared at the orange haired navigator still recovering from her thankful token before smiling and bowing to her, politely extending his hand. Nami giggled though just before she took it, he suddenly stopped.

"Just a minute." He said before he tapped his foot causing a small pillar of stone to grow from both his feet, lifting him up until he was at her height. "That's better. It's easier to waltz when one has a dance partner of proper height."

"Well aren't you the little charmer." Nami smirked, thought before he could escort her, another voice sounded.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, FIREFLY!" the two looked to see Mark stomping up to them fuming.

"Mark?" Nami asked.

"If anyone's gonna dance with Nami it's me!" barked Mark (A.N. - That rhymes X3) "I've had a crush on Nami way longer than you, Kutaro!"

"You have a crush on me?" Nami asked.

"Hey it's not like that, Mark." Kutaro said as he lowered himself down. "Nami just asked me to dance with her. I don't have a crush on her."

"Oh yeah sure! That would explain the marks on your cheeks!" Kutaro blinked, before he noticed a small smudge of red on his cheeks which he vigorously wiped off.

"She was just thanking me for saving her back in the citadel! If you wanna dance with her you can, I don't mind. I'm sorry."

"Hey!" Nami said to quite them down. "There's no need to argue. I'm more than happy to dance with both of you." She smiled kindly.

"There you see?" Kutaro said.

"Yeah. Sorry I got mad at you." Mark apologised.

"WAIT!" another voice suddenly spoke up.

"Now who is it?" Nami asked but she got her answer when Angela came running up.

"I won't let you flirt with my Markey!" she said as she shielded the wolf boy.

"Aww. Mark you didn't tell me Angela liked you." Nami cooed.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Mark snapped. "And I'm not dancing with her!" Angela gasped before she felt her heart sink. Nami noticed this before she smiled.

"Now Mark, you're not seriously telling me that you'd break a lovely young lady's heart would you. All she wants is to dance with a handsome young man." Mark blinked at her surprised before he looked back at Angela who also looked puzzled. "You never know. Maybe there's more to her than you think. You never know a person until you give them a chance." Mark looked at Nami before turning back to face Angela who smiled at him sweetly. He sighed frustratingly.

"I'll probably kick myself tomorrow for this." He thought before he held his hand out to the chameleon witch. "Angela? Will you be my dance partner?" Angela gasped with joy and was about to tackle him when she restrained herself and smiled thankfully at him before taking his hand gently in hers.

"I would love to, Mark. Thank you." She smiled. Mark smiled back before he began to walk her to the dance floor. Angela looked back at Nami to see her grin and wink at her which she returned.

"And you call me a charmer." Kutaro grinned.

"I do my best. After all I did push Maka in the right direction to get her with Crona." Nami smiled. "Shall we?"

"Of course, Milady." Kutaro bowed as the two went to join Mark and Angela.

After many hours of dancing, singing and partying, the celebration appeared to be reaching its climax as Brook stepped onto the stage to give his last song.

"Alright, everybody! You've been a wonderful audience, but as with all good things, they must come to an end and so it with a heavy heart but high spirit that I am to sing my last for the night!" the crowd cheered. "But I require a little assistance with this last one. For this song represents the bonds I share with not just my crew but the many true friends we have made here as well in this remarkable city. And so, I call upon my crew to join me on stage for this last number. Don't worry it's a classic so I know you'll be able to sing along."

"YEAH! Let's hear you sing, Luffy!" Maka cheered.

"Play those pipes, Nami!" Patty hollered.

"STRAW HATS! STRAW HATS! STRAW HATS!" the DWMA gang cheered along with the rest of the audience.

"Like we have a choice." Usopp shrugged with a smile as he went to join Brook.

"Let's go everyone. Let's end it with a bang." Nami grinned.

"A real big bang!" Chopper clapped as he went up as well.

"Well I'll do it, but I'm not a singer." Zoro muttered as he begrudgingly followed after his friends until the whole crew was on stage. Brook strummed his guitar to silence the crowd before he began to play a rapid solo and spoke.

"To begin a single from our two lovely ladies. HERE WE GO!" he said before he began to play out a strong melody on his guitar.

"Destiny...Fate...Dreams.
These unstoppable ideals are held deep in the heart of man.
As long as there are people who seek freedom in this life, these things shall not vanish from the earth..." with that he began to play his guitar rapidly as Nami took up her mic.

"People tell me my head's in the clouds.
I don't care what they say because I'm dreamin' of you.
You are the treasure I've found.
So bright, so bold yet so elusive." She sang before Robin stepped forward.

"It's hard to look away even though it's blinding me.
There are no words to describe how I feel inside.
I'm really really stuck on you! Wow! Wow!" Robin sang the line beautifully before she and Nami stood back to back singing the chorus simultaneously.

"I have to follow my dreams however crazy they seem.
And I won't stop 'til I get there, you will see.
You're all I need to have the strength to believe.
Believe in Wonderland~!" the crowd were cheering like mad by this point and many of the male members were gawking at the singing beauties which took Luffy and Zoro a lot of restraining not to attack them.

"I'm gonna follow my dreams however crazy they seem
I'm gonna share them with you, a love so true
You're all I want, together we can move on.
Live how we want to!

There is no limit to us; we have the power of love.
And we don't wanna live ordinary lives.

" the two ladies sang out the last lyric with a beautiful melody as brook strummed his guitar before the song ended. But before the crowd even had time to clap another song began to play as the crew got ready to sing before Luffy stepped forward.

"Let us set sail right before the break of dawn.
Tomorrow's waiting for all of us and I have,
No regrets, yes now I've made up my mind." He sang deeply.

"Oh I know what I'm supposed to do." The crest of the crew snag gently behind him as Zoro took up his microphone.

"No matter how hard it gets along the way,
My heart will always be strong from day to the next day.
There is one place that we all want to go." He sang surprisingly well.

"Fly to the light!" the crew said together as they pointed to the ceiling which illuminated several spotlights on them.

"There is no way that they will ever break though!
As we fight more together, we'll know what to do!
As we go on our bonds will grow ever more!
Yes the power is here, right in our hands!" Usopp sang punching the air and clearly enjoying himself before Sanji took his turn.

"So it's time to go~!
Ahead is a New World that's calling for us!
So look far ahead now~!
No matter just how many big blue seas are between us!" he chanted sending many of the women in the audience into a screaming frenzy of squeals.

"No Matter What, I'll stand by you.
Don't be Afraid, We'll make it through.
Never forget that:
We Fight Together!" Chopper sang loudly which sent even more of the women cheering over the image of him singing in such a booming voice while staying in his brain point. It was then that Franky took his shot and began to sing slower than the others.

"I've always kept that memory, of when I raised my head high.
Oh there is no way I'll forget that vast blue sky~.
Oh we sure have really come a long way.
With our vows we made we'll carry through each day.
But even though we,
All have burdens we carry~." He sang deeply with quite the ring in his voice, the crowd lulled into a relaxing state before Brook finally sang.

"The sun will rise.
And shine its way to us, and make it alright.
Yes I believe it.
The future tells me we will be one piece it's in my sight." He hummed until all of the boys took their stand for the last verse which they sang together.

"So now together, let's set sail!
Yes with just us, we will prevail!
Never forget that:
We Fight Together!" they roared the last line with pride which sent the crowd straight over the edge as they exploded into applause. The DWMA gang were perming a manner of clapping, stamping, whistling, screaming and cheering. Some of them doing all of the above at once.

"CITIZENS OF DEATH CITY! THE STRAW HAT PIRATES!" Lord Death presented as the crew bowed and left the stage, concluding the end of the great celebration. It would certainly be a night to remember.

About a week passed by allowing everyone to recuperate and resupply until at last, Luffy and his crew finally found themselves back at the Thousand Sunny, the DWMA gang also present to see them off back home.

"This is always the hardest part." Maka said.

"I'll say. It's like we only just got here." Usopp said. "It could be years before we see each other again. I mean we only came here because you needed our help and you came to our world last time because of Bluebeard. I guess it would just be nice to meet up just to see each other again."

"You're exactly right, Usopp." Logan said. "That's why we have one last gift for you all." He then nodded to Rolo who hovered over to the group and held out a object covered in by a small tarp. Luffy looked at the gift as he took it before lifting the tarp to reveal a sculpture of Lord Death's mask made entirely from gemstone.

"Oh. Well it's certainly beautiful and it's sure to remind us of you." Luffy said a little puzzled.

"Oh it's not just a sculpture." Rolo corrected. It's a magic tool Kutaro and I crafted form one of his gemstones. It's filled with one of Lord Death's portals along with coordinates to your ship which I planted in it. When activated it releases a wormhole large enough to absorb your ship and transport you several hundred light-years." Some of the crew scratched their heads.

"In other words: it's a way back here." Stein simplified earning knowing looks from those who were confused which soon turned to joy.

"You mean…we can come back?!" Luffy said in disbelief.

"Of course! What's the point in granting you all citizenship if you don't have a means of coming back?!" Lord Death said from the hand held mirror Marie was holding. "There's one catch though. Giving you a portal to another world is a very risky act. While I fully trust you are responsible enough for it, you all live in a dangerous world and the last thing I would want is your enemies to get a hold of it and try and invade our home. So, the crystal may only be used once per year in order to fully restore its magic to bring you back. This will not only make your visits to us more meaningful but also lower the risk of enemy attacks"

"We understand, Lord Death. We'll keep it safe and cherish it just as much as we will the One Piece." Nami promised.

"Then the time has come to say, SEE YA LATER~!" Lord Death flashed his V sign at them. "I know you never say goodbye."

"That's right. Because it's not goodbye. It never will be." Luffy grinned before the group began to say they farewells.

"We'll miss you guys!" Mark Will and Angela hugged Luffy thankfully which he returned, ruffling their hair.

"Keep up the relationship with Crona, Maka." Nami smiled. "And remember what I told you, Kutaro." She smiled which he returned.

"You liiiike her~!" Vanellope giggled.

"Aw zip it!"

"Stay strong, Zoro. Next time we spar it's not gonna be a tie!" Black Star said shaking hands with the first mate.

"Don't expect to win short stuff!" Zoro grinned back.

"Remember those tips I gave you, Tsubaki." Robin smiled as two hugged. "I guarantee Black Star will be much more romantic when you try them."

"I'll hold you to it, Robin." The dark arm replied.

"WE'LL MISS YOU, CHOPPY~!" Liz and Patty wailed as they cuddle the little reindeer, double kissing him on both cheeks.

"Stop making me angry~!" Chopper grinned bright red. "I don't need your doting!"

"Still the little ladies man." Blizzard snickered as he was being petted by Katherine, Vanellope and Kutaro.

"Take good care of those herbs of yours, Chopper." The nature witch said. "You'll be sure to make perfect medicine with the recipes and plants I gave you."

"I will, Katherine. Thanks a millions." Chopper replied.

"Keep up the good work, Usopp." Kid smiled. "Your sniping only gets better every day."

"You may become a greater warrior than I." Mifune praised.

"Oh just you all wait and see." Usopp grinned confidently.

"Good luck with the rest of your journey, Luffy." Maka said after everyone had said 'see ya later'. "Before you know it I'll have made Soul into a Death Scythe."

"And I'll be Pirate King." Luffy grinned before the two embraced.

"It's a promise, then. You all fulfil your dreams and we will ours."

"DEAL!" the crew replied before they boarded the ship.

"You ready to go?" Luffy turned to his crew who nodded. "Go for it, Rolo!" the imp nodded before he surrounded the Sunny in a ring of symbols as a black hole began to emerge beneath the ship and it began to lower into it. As it did so, Luffy looked to see the DWMA gang looking solemn. Some even averting their gaze. But then he got an idea. He hurried over to the crew and whispered something to them causing them to grin.

"HEY YOU GUYS!" the DWMA gang looked up in surprise but then silently gasped at what they saw. The Straw Hats all stood in a line with their backs to their friends and their arms raised height, each one bearing a black X. While some like the adults, Alex and the Six Feathers were confused, Maka and her team gasped in amazement, their eyes starting to water.

"What am I missing here?" Alex whispered to Maka.

"It's a symbol of their friendship to us. It means that no matter how far away they are or for how long we'll always be one of them. To the very end." The others looked in amazement after her explanation before Maka took a black marker and rolled up her sleeve before she raised her fist height, her arm now branded with a black X as she passed the marker on so her comrades could copy the gesture before the entire DWMA gang stood and watched the ship sink into the black hole, their arms raised and tattooed with black Xs. The Straw Hats didn't move a muscle as the portal reached up to their waists, almost entirely submerging them. Though if you were looking at their fronts you would see some of them shedding tears, mainly Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Chopper and Franky but all were smiling as the last of their figures sank into the hole, Usopp changing his fist into a thumbs up before the portal closed up leaving nothing but sand behind. They were gone. Maka sighed as she wiped her eyes.

"No tears, guys. They'll be back." She said.

"Knowing them it may be sooner than we think." Soul grinned.

"In that case we should keep getting stronger for when they do come back." Jason smiled. When they heard a panting and looked to see Ragnarok in his new legged form running passed them carrying two little suitcases under his arms.

"Ragnarok?" Crona asked.

'I wasn't lying, pansy! Now that I have legs I'm hitting the road! This is the last you'll ever see of me!" he yelled over his shoulder as he ran before he suddenly felt a pulling force as though he were being grabbed by the collar. "Hey what's going on?!"

"It seems you've reached the edge of your flask, Ragnarok." Stein said. "You may be able to physically separate from Crona now but your soul can never detach form him. You're no different than Lord Death!" Ragnarok blinked at the group for a few long moments before he dropped his suitcases and pounded his mitten fists on the ground.

"DAMMIT~! WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME~?!" he comically sobbed earning laughs from the others. Though this adventure the DWMA had spent with the Straw Hats had come to an end, it may be the start of something even greater than they could ever imagine.
