Hello everyone. Sorry for the long wait. Hopefully this chapter will be much longer.

Annabeth's POV

After training finished, we had the final exam. We showed off our skills, going in alphabetical order. The districts went first, so Katniss and Peeta were the last locals to go A/N: You all know what they did if you've read Catching Fire.

Since my name starts with A, I was first.

The smartest thing to do would be to show my prowess in battle, but everyone would've done that. I needed to think up of something good, something worthy of Athena.

"Annabeth Chase," The robotic female voice said over the intercom. I turned to Percy and he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and squeezed my hand.

"Good luck, Wise Girl,"

I smiled slightly. "You too, Seaweed Brain." Then I got up and walked into the Training Centre.

Things were set up everywhere; targets, paints, wires. Looking around the supply table, I wondered what could do. Camouflage? No, none of these things would impress them.

Then, an idea formed in my head that could combine both intelligence and fighting. Grabbing everything I needed, I headed to an empty spot.

I unravelled the wires, lining them up with turning mechanisms. If this worked, then it would act as a conveyer belt. I set it up with a remote control, and when I pressed the button, the belt moved left and right at random. Perfect.

I attached a dummy to the belt, painting targets in the kill spots like the heart, stomach and brain.

Then I stood at a harder throwing distance with a handful of knives. Pressing the button, the dummy began to move. I threw the first knife. Centre of the target. And again, and again.

I threw all my knifes, and didn't miss the target once.

A triumphant grin on my face, I walked out of the Training Centre.

Clary's POV

I knew what I was going to do the moment the moment they told us about the tests. It was one of the only things I could do well in Shadowhunter training.

When my name was called, I went into the room and pulled out my stele.

Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes and waited for the Rune to come to me. After a minute or so, an image flashed behind my eyes. A swirling pattern of lines, like a contorted box.

I got down on my knees and drew the Rune on the floor, waiting to see what would happen.

After about ten seconds, a hole sizzled into the floor around the Rune, the concrete turning into crystal clear water. This would be useful to use in the arena, and the Gamemakers knew it.

Satisfied, I left the Gamemakers to call out their next tribute.

Ethan's POV

Oh no. What was I going to impress them with? I was just a mortal with no special abilities or training.

When my name was called, Lena gave me a slight grin. "You'll do great Ethan."

I wiped my palms on my jeans.

"See you later." I said, and went to have my text.

When I went in, there was a hole in the floor. What?

I went to the supplies table. What to do? I thought, tapping my chin.

I grabbed a crossbow, figuring that it'd be similar to using one of the rifles from the Honeyhill Re-enactment.

Approaching the target, I slid an arrow into the place and aimed at the target. I tried to copy the way Katniss held her bow, but I hadn't exactly been paying attention to her posture.

When it felt balanced in my hand, I fired and the arrow sailed into the target, hitting the edge.

With a frustrated sigh, I fired once more. This time was a little better, but I still didn't hit the centre. Still, pretty good for my first time.

Jace's POV

A test huh? Well, I'd already passed Shadowhunter training years ago, so it shouldn't be hard. Show a bit of agility, strength and skill with a weapon and I'll get a pretty good score.

"Jace Wayland," The intercom said. I stood up and entered. There was a hole full of water in the floor, and I figured that was Clary, because Percy hadn't been in yet. I couldn't help but think of the unfair advantage that Lena and the demigods had, having superpowers and stuff.

When in the testing room, I took a handle of weapons; swords, knives, spears. Showing a range of the ability which would surely impress. It would've been more convenient if I had some seraph blades, though.

I approached the target range, deciding to go with the knives first. I flung one after the other, hitting every target. Then I threw the spears, with the same results.

I then took to hacking the dummies, showing good technique with a sword.

Finally, with all the weapons gone, I went to the agility course. I flipped off the bars, slid under the nets, leaped from pole to pole.

Without a single slip-up, I exited the room.

Jason's POV

Time to show these Gamemaker was a son of Jupiter can do!

I walked into the training room and took out my coin. A/N: I know he lost it, but Percy still has Riptide, so oh well. Though I wasn't sure they worshipped gods in the future, I prayed that my powers would still work.

Flipping the coin, I landed in my hand as a javelin.

Calling for Dad to help me, I lifted the javelin.

Electricity crackled in the air, and a bolt of lightning hit the javelin. The Imperial gold absorbed the energy, and I redirected it towards the targets. The lightning struck the centre, sending the boards up in flames.

Flipping my weapon back into a coin, I put it in my pocket and silently thanked my dad.

Sorry it took so long. Hopefully this kinda made up for it, though it was a bit too face-paced. If you have any ideas on what the rest of the tributes should do, please let me know.

Please R&R! ;D
