THE CABALLEROS ARE OWNED BY WALT DISNEY AND HIS CREW!

WARNING: I do not advise smoking at all in front of children or anyone! Smoking around people is very dangerous and can cause more harm than the person smoking! This is all for the sake of the story!

The guys eagerly wanted to know more about their tiny friend. How did he end up in the T.V? What happened to his parents? Are they still trapped in the T.V? However, Gabriel didn't cooperate with them any further. Instead, he would either cover his ears or start to cry when Donald pulled his fingers out from his ears. The guys eventually dropped the entire conversation and moved on to another predicament that they faced. What's Gabriel's costume going to be?

With the limited time and resources they had, they put their heads together, literally, and thought of costumes for the boy. As the documentary about the origins of Halloween played in the background on Donald's new T.V, Donald insisted on stuffing Gabriel in a pumpkin as a costume. But it was constantly shut down. Other ideas came up, like mummy out of toilet paper and a cereal box even. It wasn't Gabriel came in the living room wearing a white blanket over himself that they got an idea. Once José cut out two holes, for him to see, and cut the blanket shorter, so he wouldn't trip over it, the costume was ready. Gabriel's costume for Halloween was a classic sheet ghost.

Once the guys sat down to watch the documentary, Gabriel wrapped the blanket around himself, sat down on José's lap and watched the program with them. He looked up at the Brazilian and asked, "What are we goin' to do today José?"

José looked down and smiled. "We are going to dress up, divertir-se, and eat lots of candy."

The boys purple eyes widened and it up. "Really? I get to eat as much Baby Ruth's and Charleston Chew's as I want?!"

"I don't see why not," he said as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out a cigar and put it in-between his lips.

Panchito, not wanting Gabriel to experience the dangers of second hand smoke, grabbed the cigar before it could be lit and put it in his hat. "Are you crazy?" He exclaimed. "Don't smoke in front of the boy! Its very peligroso!"

"Ah! Me desculpe Gabriel! I didn't mean to do that!" He then made a proclamation to his friends. "Tell you what. I won't smoke anymore today." He reached in his pocket, pulled out 3 leather cigar cases and gave them to Panchito, who put them in his hat for safety measures. "Huh. I wonder hos it will feel for me to not smoke the entire day. I've never done it before."

Gabriel commented, "When my mom stopped, she became really mad and crazy and I don't want you to be like her. If you want to, you can smoke. You don't have to stop because of me."

"Its fine meu anjo. I can survive."

For the next couple hours, Gabriel and the Latin men had their eyes glued to the television. They learned why people carved faces on pumpkins and bobbed for apples. Since Halloween is one of the most dangerous holidays, especially for children, José and Panchito, especially the Brazilian, took mental notes to watch out for razor blades in candy. Whereas Donald snoozed throughout the entire day. Once Donald woke up, it was around 6 PM and the guys were still in their costumes. Eager to leave the house. Donald went up to his room to change into his costume. He put on his police uniform, adjusted the blue cop hat and replaced the shorts he was supposed to wear with some navy blue pants he owned. He also grabbed his Nikon camera from the drawer of his bedside table and rushed downstairs. Before they left, they took a few pictures of themselves, like sticking out their tongues and another of them in a group hug. After that, the four of them grabbed their plastic pumpkin buckets and left the house, into the Halloween night.

First house...

The first house they visited was located down a couple blocks away from Donald's house. It was only adorned with two pumpkins near the door and a plastic witch, which hung on the doorknob. It was very plain and boring. José picked up the excited child so he could ring the doorbell. Once Gabriel rung the bell, they held out their bags and exclaimed, "Trick-Or-Treat," with large smiles on their faces.

A woman in her late 20's-early 30's with long, rusty blonde hair in a ponytail opened the door. She wore an atrocious light green sports jacket and sweat pants. She put her hand inside a small plastic cauldron she had wrapped around her right arm and happily gave a handful of candy to the boy, but gave none to the guys. As she was about to close the door, a loud, angry "Hey!" stopped her. She turned her head to them and said, "Can I help you?"

"What gives?" Donald hissed as he waved his bucket in the woman's face. "Why don't we get any candy?"

The woman moved his bucket from her face and examined each of them with her dark green eyes. She explained bluntly, "I don't give candy to your kind."

Both Panchito and José were highly offended by her remark. But it wasn't the first time they were denied something because of "their kind."

"¿En serio? You have got to be kidding me!" Panchito said furiously. "We didn't do anything to you!"

José, who was about as upset as Panchito, give or take, added, "You can't do this! It's not like were here to mess up your lawn as we play soccer or-"

"Woah buddy! This has nothing to do with race here," she said in a way to seem as though she did nothing wrong. She brought her arm down to her side just above her waist, stuck out her hand and said, "I only give candy to people this tall and lower." She then moved her hand up to Donald's height and added, "People this tall and over shouldn't be out in silly costumes."

"What kind of logic is that?!" Panchito asked, dumbfounded.

"Its my logic," she replied.

"But its Halloween! Isn't everyone entitled to dress up as monstrous and get dulces?"

The woman took a step back and slammed the door on them.

Donald banged his fists and feet onto the dark oak door as he shouted, "You can't do this to us! This is our first Halloween together! Don't you have a heart!"

José put his arms under his armpits and restrained the man from doing any more damage. "Donald acalme-se! I'm sure there's more houses with candy!" He shouted. But the ferocious man kept flailing his hands and shouting threats at the woman.

Panchito picked up the terrified boy, who was hiding behind his legs the whole time, and said to the man in the police costume, "Donald cálmate! Calm down! You are scaring Gabriel!"

With that, Donald's rampage died off. He didn't want to traumatize the boy on his first Halloween, and he certainly didn't want his friends to have a horrible experience either. Donald took a deep, calming breath and apologized. José let him go and they begun to walk down the brick pathway before being hit in the head with candy. They turned their heads and saw the woman peering out from her door.

"Maybe everyone is entitled to have a little fun," she said. She glared her eyes towards Panchito and commented, "And I'm pretty sure Consuela can clean up the mess after your done playing soccer." She gave a mocking grin and slammed the door.

Panchito threw up his fists in the air and shouted some threats in Spanish. Donald and José dragged him off the property from his arms and walked to another neighborhood.

Hours later...

The guys managed to fill their plastic pumpkins completely to the top with all kinds of candy. They also visited all kinds of houses. One house in particular was adorned with demonic items such as pentagrams writing in fake blood on the windows, "plastic" ram and human skeleton scattered on the lawn, fog emitting from the bushes and red eyes that peeked out from the treetops. It was a sight that nearly gave Panchito a heart attack. But a little persuasion and the promise of candy gave him the courage to go in. Near the door was a hooded figure sitting on a chair with a bowl in-between his thighs that read Happy Halloween! Take one. The Latin men and Gabriel each took a piece of the mini Snickers®, whereas Donald grabbed a handful. Then, the figure suddenly raised his hands and formed his fingers to look like claws and roared at them. They all let out horrified screams. Gabriel hid behind José's legs, Donald jumped up and was caught by the Brazilian and Panchito fainted. The hooded person removed their mask and was revealed to be a surprisingly handsome man with facial hair and deep blue eyes. Panchito eventually regained consciousness when he caught a few whiffs of chocolate that the man had under his nose. The good thing that came from it was that they got extra candy. Thankfully, the other areas they visited were more cute than scary. Tiny pumpkins lights hung from the windows, inflatable ghosts with smiles, puppies in silly costumes, and happy families in costumes. Lots and lots of families. So much that the whole block and even the streets were full. But the caballeros felt at bliss. They were complimented by others on how cool their costumes were, they got mountains of candy, and they had fun together. Which was the most important part. Not to mention seeing the big smile Gabriel had plastered on his face the entire time, which made them cheerful.

As they turned the corner to a far less crowded street, three women walked toward them. One was a blonde with her tips dyes red. She was plastered in white makeup and wore a white, ripped up dress. A ghost costume perhaps? Another woman with black hair wore a white dress splattered in fake blood. The corners of her mouth formed a smile on her face with blood. The other woman had wavy, ebony hair in a witch costume. She wore a witch hat on her head, a tight skirt and a tight, black and red laced corset. As they passed, the men caught whiffs of their sweet perfume. The guys couldn't resist the attractive women, even with them being covered in fake blood. The men were star stuck by the sight of them. They quarreled and tussled with one another. Seeing who was man enough to win for the women's affection. Gabriel managed to go to the girls before the guys even noticed. He asked for some candy, to which the girls happily gave him some of. Panchito managed to tackle Donald and José to the floor and Gabriel came back to assist them. Panchito strolled proudly toward girls and struck one of his signature pick up lines.

The woman in the witch costume seemed interested in him. She walked towards him with an innocent smile on her grabbed a tip of his bangs and felt it's softness. "Wow! Your hair feels amazing. What type of dye do you use?"

He tipped his hat and replied, "Gracias. Pero it's not dye. Its my natural hair color."

"Oh." She examined the man more with her gun metal grey colored eyes. "I've never seen you around here before. Are you new?"

"Actually, I'm from México. I came here to visit my friends to spend Halloween together. This is my first time celebrating it."

She put her index finger on the bottom of her lip. Her nails were painted black and sharpened to a fine point. "Interesting. So you haven't seen all the wonders of this sacred holiday. Have you?"

"I don't think so. There's more than just trick-or-treating?"

She giggled. "Of course silly! More than you could ever imagine!"

Panchito felt excited. What could possibly be more fun than eating free candy? But then guilt shot him. He didn't want to leave his friends behind and miss out on them, but on the other hand, he wanted to hang with the attractive ladies. "That sounds really fun. Pero I have to go with my friends."

She chuckled. "Don't worry about them. I'm sure you can sneak away with us. Just for a few minutes."

Panchito looked over his shoulder and couldn't find his friends anywhere. He thought they went off to do a little trick or treating. He felt a bit upset that they left him, but glad they did. He turned back to face her and smiled. "I guess I can hang out with you and your friends for a jiffy."

"Perfect!" She exclaimed. "And can you do me a huge favor first?" She asked as she put her hand in her purse and pulled out a napkin. She put it under Panchito's nose. "Can you smell this for me?"

Panchito thought it was a weird request at first. But he smelled the napkin anyway, taking a few deep whiffs. He imagined that it would smell like flowers or some other type of feminine fragrance. But it smelled very pungent and very sweet. His head began to hurt and his vision blurred. He held his head as he stumbled onto his knees. "W-What?" Before he could say anything else, he passed out.

It's been a little over an hour since Panchito disappeared from them. Donald climbed up a tree in one of the not-so-crowded blocks. He peered over the area, trying to find their missing Mexican friend. "How could we loose him? He's like 10 feet tall!" He exclaimed down at the Brazilian carrying their young friend.

"Eu não sei! How could he just abandon us like that?"

"I know right! Especially to hang out with those girls!"

"But you have to admit Donald, they were very, very pretty."

"Very, very pretty indeed. But the houses aren't giving out candy anymore and its late. I wanna go home and count my winnings!"

"Me too." José looked at the boy. He noticed Gabriel's eyes drooped and head resting in his shoulder. "And Gabriel is getting sleepy too." José then thought for a moment. He exclaimed, "Donald! What if he is home?"

"I don't think so. He's probably out partying and stuff."

"Well why don't we go check. Its worth a shot. No?" José asked.

Suddenly, Gabriel shot his eyes open and sat up. He fumbled out of José's arms and landed on the floor. He picked himself up and started to run down the street. "Gabriel! Where are you going?" José shouted.

Gabriel shouted back, "Just follow me!" He continued to run down the street.

After José helped Donald down the tree, they both ran down the street and followed the boy.

In a different area, Panchito began to regain consciousness. His body felt a bit numb and his nose burned. With his foggy vision, he could make out the grey, concrete walls and bright light of a light bulb that hung over his head. There were also some talking people in front of him, but all he heard were muffled voices. He tried to get up, but his wrists and ankle were restrained and taped to the arms and legs of the chair. After a few moments, he could recognize the people as the two girls from earlier. But the witch was missing. He then became fully aware of the situation and a rush of energy rushed through his body.

"¿D-Dónde estoy? Where am I? What's happening?" He asked frantically. "Is this some kind of kinky dungeon? Because I'm not really into this kind of stuff!"

The blonde responded, "No you idiot! We're in a basement."

"But not just any basement," the bloody woman added. "We're in the notorious," she held the flashlight under her chin as the light made her look more intimidating. She chuckled. "Murder house."

Those words crawled under his skin. Panchito gulped. "M... Murder H-House?"

"You mean you haven't heard of it?"

Panchito slowly nodded his head side to side. Consumed with fear in knowing the backstory.

The girls laughed maniacally, which frightened the man even more. The bloodied woman explained, "It all started in the 20's. Dr. Morgan built this house for him, his wife and their expecting child. He believed that building his wife's dream house would make their rocky marriage into a happier one. The thing was, the good doctor was a twisted man behind his happy smile. Sometimes, he would bring his patients from the mental asylum home with him when his wife wasn't around. He brought his patients down to this very basement, put them under the mask, remove their organs, and preserve them in jars or sell them on the black market."

The woman in white added, "But that's not the fun part. Whenever he was bored, he would dive himself into books about the occult and other dark magic. He even combined both his medical work with voodoo and black magic."

Black magic. Might have been an interesting story for José to hear, but not for Panchito.

"Anyway," the bloodied girl picked off from where she left off. "His wife delivered two healthy boys. They were the picture perfect family. But as their sons reached the age of eight, one of the twins met a horrible fate. The T.V they owned fell on top of the boy and crushed him. The good doctor and his wife were devastated. Do you know what he did to try to cheer up his wife?"

Panchito was hesitant to ask. "W... What did he do?"

The woman in white answered. "He used the extra parts of his dead dog and other animals he had in his jars and "fixed" his child. He used dark magic to bring his kid back to life. Like Dr. Frankenstein did with his monster."

Panchito was shaken. "N.. No way," he quaked. He didn't want to hear the rest of the story, but something deep inside him did. "What happened afterward?"

"Some say the wife was so traumatized that she smothered both her children and shot her husband and herself. But their bodies were never found. They simply disappeared. Never to be seen or heard from again."

Panchito felt his face get pale and cold. His fingers began to get quake and he was in a cold sweat. "P-Pero what does this have to do with me? W... Why am I here?"

"Glad you asked," a disembodied female voice spoke. The witch who drugged him came out from the shadows and reeled in a tray of surgical tools. Glistening silver knives and scalpels. A few jars with suspicious liquid accompanied the tools. She grinned and added, "We'll be needing a patient."

Donald and José caught their breaths as they stood in front of an iron gate with Gabriel. An intimidating old, creepy looking mansion was behind the rusty gates. The windows were destroyed, the roof was collapsing and vines grew from the sides of the house. The only way they could see the dead flowers and peeled off paint was the full moon lightly covered by clouds in the sky. They left their bowls of candy outside the gate and, without hesitation, went inside the property. Donald and José held onto Gabriel's tiny hands and, from what it looked like, they were more terrified than the boy. They walked down the brick pathway and up the rotten porch. They opened the oak door of the house and entered. The neglect toward the house wasn't only to the outside, the inside suffered quite a but. Graffiti covered the walls, furniture was thrown everywhere and cobwebs were in every corner.

"Gabriel. Why did you bring us here?" Donald asked, a but irritated.

"You guys said you wanted to find Panchito. So I brought you guys to him."

The men were baffled. José asked, "Where is he?"

It sounded like Gabriel took a few whiffs of the air. "Behind the staircase in the basement."

They crept behind the wooden staircase in the muddle of the hall and stood in front of the door. They could hear low, muffled voices from behind the door.

Donald asked the boy, "How did you know he-"

José shushed Donald. They recognized the voice as their missing friend. From the sound if he's struggling. José whispered, "Panchito needs help. Stay here with Gabriel." As he tiptoed behind the staircase, Gabriel backed away and walked up the stairs. "Gabriel what are you doing? Get back here," José loudly whispered.

Gabriel continued to walk up the stairs. "I'll be fine. Go help Panchito."

José was about to go get him himself, but Donald stopped him. "You go get Panchito. I'll get Gabriel," Donald whispered as he hurried up the stairs.

José tiptoed toward the door and slowly turned the knob. He slowly opened the door and entered the dark basement.

Donald was terrified to the bone. But he knew he had to find Gabriel before anything bad happened to him. He walked down the dark hall and called out for the boy in a whisper. He couldn't tell weather the footsteps were Gabriel's or some kind of entity that followed him. He checked every room, but was only left with the sight of dead rabbits and cobwebs. He walked back downstairs and tried again. He went to the large, empty living room and called for the buy. However, the rotten floorboards couldn't withstand the weight of Donald and collapsed under him. He fell hard on his back on the hard, dusty pavement. He could make out two skeletons. He covered his mouth and tried not to scream in fear that he'll get caught. It was hard for him to see well, but noticed that one of the skeletons wore a flappers dress from the 20's era and another was wearing a black tux. He looked down and saw that they were holding hands. A revolver was rested on the lady skeletons lap. He grabbed the gun, checked to see it had bullets, which it did, and put it in his pocket. He scurried back out of the hole and continued his search, scratching out what he saw in his mind.

In the pitch black basement, José relied heavily on his other senses to guide him to his friend. Hearing his friends cries for help, he rushed to find him. However, he smelled a pungent aroma of what smelled like bleach and chlorine. His head felt dizzy and he couldn't tell what was left to right anymore. He hurled his body to a random direction, hitting the concrete wall. Then, he didn't smell the mysterious aroma anymore, nor did he feel dizzy. He slid his hands across the smooth wall and felt a doorknob. He twisted it and pushed himself inside, nearly tripping. It took him a few seconds to adjust to the light, but he found his friend. He found the tortued man strapped onto a chair with women surrounded. The bloodied woman was holding onto his neck, her nails deep into his skin, while the other two marked his flesh with surgical tools.

"Get your mãos off of him!" He demanded.

When the girls turned to him, their faces turned pale. The witch held the shaken knife and quaked, "D-D-D-Dr. M-Morgan? Y-You're alive?"

José ignored her question. "I said get off of him! Now!" As he took a few steps toward them, the girls quickly dropped their tools and ran to the other side and into the shadows.

"José! Thank goodness you came!" Panchito exclaimed happily, nearly in tears.

José quickly grabbed the knife and cut Panchito's left wrist free. He then notices deep cuts on Panchito's chest, neck and some on his face. He must have fought hard against the girls who clawed at him and sliced him. "Are you O.K?"

"Sí, estoy bien! Now let's get out of here!"

As Panchito got out of the seat, they heard loud creaks above them. They looked up and saw the ceiling crack and break. Donald fell down through the ceiling. Panchito managed to catch the terrified man.

"Panchito! I'm so glad your safe!" He shouted as he wrapped his arms around his neck and hugged the man.

Panchito put Donald down and had to cover their heads as sharp fibers of wood and debris fell from the ceiling. Suddenly, a skull fell and onto the hands of an unsuspecting Donald. Spooked, Donald threw the skull at José, who then threw it to Panchito. It was like the game Hot Potato but with a human skull. They all put their hands behind their backs and watched the skull shatter into a million pieces when it fell onto the floor.

"Dios mio," Panchito muttered. He moved his right hand from one shoulder to the other and onto the stomach, forming a cross motion. "Señor, ten piedad."

"I think that's out queue to leave," Donald said.

Then, the smell of rotten meat filled their nasal cavities. A putrid smell foreign to Donald and Panchito, but José is all to familiar with. They turned to the door and saw the thing emitting the smell. They saw a creature with large, black, oval shaped eyes and elongated fangs that couldn't fit in its mouth. Large spikes rowed down its hunched back that came out of its grotesque gray skin that covered its bony body that barely fit through the door. José was frozen in fear as he starred into the creatures black eyes. Donald and Panchito pulled out their and aimed at the creature. But before they could shoot, a loud, familiar shout stopped them.

"Stop!" Gabriel shouted as he opened his arms out in front of the creature.

"Gabriel! W... What are you doing?" Donald asked as he lowered his gun. "Why are you protecting that... thing?"

"That thing is-" Gabriel took in a deep breath and shouted, "He's my baby brother!"

Baby brother? The guys were shocked. Baffled even. How was that monster. Donald and Panchito lowered their guns.

"I'll tell you everything if you promise not to hurt him!" He pleaded. "Please!"

The caballeros gave each other

"O.K. We wont hurt him," "Gabriel. I think its time to tell us everything."

Gabriel explained everything to them. He said that his real name, before he was called Gabriel, was Michael. The creature was in fact his twin brother, Thomas, who was brought back to life as a hideous monster by Dr. Morgan. Their father. The house once belonged to them while they were all alive in the late 1920's. Thomas was kept locked up in the basement for the reminder of his life. Never to be seen by the public. He told them that his father feared for their lives when he knew that his mother was going insane from a combination of tobacco, alcohol, and depression. One day, his father brought them to the basement where they thought they would watch some T.V. However, he sealed them away inside the television using his witchcraft. The both of them wandered around aimlessly for many years, trying to find their parents to take them out of the freezing, empty place. Until the caballeros managed to free them both.

Panchito asked, "So the weird ghost manos that came out of my T.V. Those were spirits?"

"Yes. They act like that because they want a physical body to escape their spiritual realm. They can even take out your original spirit, but they can't enter by themselves." Gabriel smiled at Donald. "Lucky for Donald, I found his spirit and put it back in him."

That explained Donald's "death" in the T.V and José's experience with the ghost who harassed him in the bathroom.

"I have a question about your brother," José spoke. "Why did he bite me when I was in the T.V?"

Gabriel reached in his pocket and pulled out an old picture. "Because... You look like dad." He handed the picture to José.

The three of them examined at the black and white photo. Low and behold, Dr. Morgan looked like the spitting image of José Carioca. Same facial structure, same eye shape, same body type, same everything! Dr. Morgan stood beside his beautiful, dark haired wife, who was sitting in a chair with her hands folded on her lap, and their two boys smiling near her.

"Thomas hates dad for what he did to us. But he said he's sorry for what he did to you and hopes you can forgive him."

José looked up at the monster. He looked past his grotesque body and saw that he was still a child. He gave a faint smile. "I forgive you Thomas."

The monster seemed pleased. He nuzzled his head onto José's lime green hair, messing it up. But he managed to fix it with a slide of his hand.

"That picture was taken before Thomas had the accident. It was the only time I can remember where we were all happy. As a family. That's why I kept it after so long." Gabriel held onto Thomas' large, bony hand. "I hope one day I can find him and mom, so we could be a family again."

Donald wanted to tell them the truth. That the chance of finding their dad alive was impossible. That all that remained of him was bones. Instead, Donald said this. "Well, why don't we be your family?"

Gabriel's eyes lit up. "S-Seriously?"

Donald smiled. "Heck yeah! We can have all types of fun! Like go to parks, see movies, and all the other good stuff."

"¡Sí! And we can eat churros and go watch bullfighting together!"

"Lets not forget that we can dance Samba and play on the beach in Rio!"

The three of them giggled at those thoughts. Donald asked, "Well, what do you say? Do you boys wanna be caballeros?"

Gabriel smiled. He wanted to go to parks, watch movies and be happy with his new family. He wanted to leave behind the cold emptiness that was once his home and live in a warm house filled with warm hugs and love. He wanted to be a caballero! He wanted to be Gabriel! But his smile and happiness died off. "I really want to be with you guys. I really do. But," the boys purple eyes glimmered like crystals and his voice cracked "I have to stay and take care of my baby brother. I'm all he has left. And I don't want him to be alone." He remembered that the world is and will never be ready to accept his brother for what he is.

The guys felt sadness with Gabriel's response. "We understand," Donald responded. "Family is important. Don't be afraid to drop by and hang out with us. Our doors are always open for you and Thomas."

Panchito took off his hat and pulled out two sombreros. "Here," he said as he handed them the hats. "Your very own sombreros. You guys are still part of the family. No matter where you are."

The boy put the large hat on his head, whereas his brother chewed it. Tears rolled down Gabriel's pink cheeks.

José wiped them away with his sleeve as best as he could. He too tried hard to hold back his tears by smiling. He cupped Gabriel's cheeks and said, "Não chore meu anjo. Everything will be alright. We'll always be here," he pointed at Gabriel's head, "in your memories." He placed his hand over Gabriel's chest, "And here, in your coração. Your heart." He wiped a tear from the corner of his own eye and smiled, "And don't ever. Ever. Forget that we love you. Because we do. We love you very much Gabriel."

Gabriel lunged forward and wrapped his arms around his neck. José hugged the boy back. Donald and Panchito kneeled down and embraced the child as well. Gabriel felt that this would be the last hug he would ever get from them. He marked this moment in his memory. The sound of their heartbeats, the warmth from the hugs and the love he felt. He muttered, "I love you."

It was difficult for them to release their grip, but when they did, they were somehow transported to the front of the gate. The bright moon was still up, but the gate was locked up with heavy duty chains and locks. Donald and Panchito managed to get themselves up, but José was kneeled on the floor. José curled up and sobbed onto his hands. His broken heart overwhelmed his friends, who also began to cry. They couldn't stand the sight anymore. They helped their sobbing friend up on his own feet and walked back home as they held hands in the cold, moonlit night. The memory of their friend Gabriel forever imbedded in their memories. And their hearts.

Halloween was over.
