Epilogue

The Next Day, Sacramento, California

Green eyes opened to reveal an interior location of a hospital. Shego sat up slowly, her body aching for reasons the lycan warrior could not understand. She had bandages wrapped around her head and torso. She could see healed cuts and bruises on her skin. Why was she in a hospital? Where was she exactly? She continued to look around and saw staff moving about in a frenzy, tending to a lot of civilians. These civilians appeared to be ranging from ok to critical condition. The room was filled with the cries of children and adults alike as doctors and nurses to scramble about. It just then struck Shego. Where was Kim and their children?

She quickly turned her head to the right and seen Kim was still unconscious, but she didn't see the kids. However who she did see next to Kim was Betty.

"Where are my kids?! What the hell are we doing here?! What the fuck did you pull?" Shego growled.

Betty stared at her stunned. 'She really doesn't remember?' Betty thought. Then she glanced at Kim. She pondered if the same thing happened to Kim as well.

"I swear to god if you did anything to my kids, I will…"

"It's ok Shego." A voice said.

Both Betty and Shego looked over to see Ron, Yori and Tara walk over. In the blonde's hands was Jimmy, while Yori held Anne and Ashley. Shego's demeanor softened a bit after seeing that her kids were ok. They weren't any bruising on them like there was on Tara, Yori, Ron, Kim and herself.

"What the fuck happened to us? Why are we in a hospital?" Shego asked Betty.

"More importantly? Where are we? This isn't Middleton." Yori asked.

Shego's eyes widened. "Wait we aren't in Middleton?" The three of them nodded their heads. Shego groaned, just what happened. All she remembered was driving home with Tara and the rest was blank.

Betty was astounded. None of them remembered what happened. It would explained why there were numerous reports going around calling last night a terrorist attack. Not even her own soldiers remembered could recall the events, but she could. Betty sighed catching everyone's attention.

"Well for starters, you are in a hospital in Sacramento, California." She said.

"Sacramento!?" They all exclaimed.

"How did we get all the way out west?" Tara asked.

"You honestly don't remember what happened to Middleton?" Betty asked for further clarification.

They shook their heads no.

"Well to be short, there were two terrorist attacks. One in Middleton, which happened two nights ago."

Their eyes widened. "The attack happened in the heart of downtown. Several bombs were set off. They were an extremist hate group that targeted werewolves and vampires. They fled to San Francisco where they once again detonated bombs. However on a grander scale destroying three times as much of the city than they did in Middleton."

"Well how did we get involved?" Shego asked.

"Before fleeing to the west. They attacked you all. Making matters personal you all followed in pursuit. The combined assault of your group and mine proved to be successful, however not without casualties, and afflictions like your memory loss."

Shego craned her eyebrow. She was having a hard time believing the whole story. It seemed off putting. If there was an extremist hate group out there attacking werewolves and vampires why did they only hit those two locations?

Betty could see the look in Shego's eyes. "It's all over the news. So as time unfolds more will be revealed. I'll leave you all to your thoughts" She said getting up and walking off.

"Betty." Shego called out to her. She stopped walking but didn't bother to turn around. "Thanks." Shego said. Realizing that Betty passed up an opportune moment to capture all of them while they were unconscious.

Betty just waved her off, her way of saying don't mention it. She continued to walk down the hall and as she did she pulled out a sheet of paper. On that paper was some writing in Japanese. Betty was sure of it now. Those two oddly dressed women had something to do with why nobody remembered the events that had transpired. This piece of paper that was left on Shego's person was without a doubt instructions left by them. She would have someone back at HQ decipher it. For now it would be best if what happened here to be forgotten.

Somewhere

Far off in a remote location sat a cabin. In that cabin was Will Du. He mulled over what had transpired. Yet again his best plans had been fooled by Kim and Shego, they were like ticks that he couldn't get rid of. He growled at his frustration as he thought of Moniku. That arrogant bitch was the true reason they failed. She was dead set on doing things her way. That would be the last time he worked with a woman.

His thoughts then drifted to Komori. He didn't know if he was angry or disappointed that the bat demon chose to follow Moniku back to feudal japan. If she did, then both of them combined would be more than enough to crush Shego and her friends. Also he enjoyed her company. Something he can't say about most people. He hoped that Komori wised up and didn't lose her life to Moniku. Honorable or not she was not worth dying for.

He leaned back in his chair when his eyes noticed something. He got up and grabbed some papers and sat them down on the table. He opened them and seen his previous plans from before. He smiled when he realized that he still an ace up his sleeve in the form of Dracula. He pushed the papers aside and decided to rest up a bit more before enacting on his plan. After all he was going to be quite busy.

Feudal Japan, 1551

Midoriichi stood outside the cave to her mountain home. Alongside Josei they looked over the snow covered lands of feudal japan. Kimiko was inside with the twins nursing them, and Akai was looking at the scrolls that Midoriichi had brought back with them from the future. Midoriichi was saddened by the fact that they had wipe out the memories of Shego and her friends. They were an interesting group. The future seemed to yield some promising warriors.

She would've liked to keep in contact but Jodan expressed the ramifications of doing so. So unfortunately Midoriichi had to live with the fact that she would most likely never see her friend again.

"Cheer up Midoriichi." Josei said. "You saved the world, past and future. The kids are ok and you whooped some serious demon ass."

"Yeah, but at what cost? Moniku and her cronies are still alive and she no doubtedly will return to try again. I couldn't kill her with my own power and she will be stronger next time. So I have to fear that one day I will lose my kids to that insane woman."

"That's no way to live." Josei commented. "However you are not alone. I wont let someone as twisted as Moniku succeed in breaking up a good family. I even have several scouts combing the area as we speak. She's wounded, something you and your friend managed to do to her. If we can find her by then we can kill her."

Midoriichi chuckled a bit. "Not if Jodan finds her first."

The priestess had set out on her search for Moniku again. Confident she could find the wounded demon.

"You think it was a good idea to let her go out alone?" Josei wondered.

"She'll be fine. That's one person who can handle her own. However you are right. I shouldn't let Moniku haunt my every thought. If she does rear her ugly mug again, we'll be ready." Midoriichi stated boldly.

Josei smiled as she focused her gaze back over the lands. She picked up a scent that made her and Midoriichi look to the right. Walking up the mountain was the samurai Ron. He immediately noticed the female demons and nodded towards them in which they retuned the nod.

Ron entered the cave and made his way towards his childhood friend, who had finished nursing her children a few minutes earlier. He offered her a genuine smile before sitting down next to her.

"Glad to see you back safe and sound." He told her.

Kimiko nodded. "Yeah you won't believe where we went."

"Try me." The samurai said.

"Well we went to the future." She said. She watched as Ron eyes widened at her statement. "The timeline we went to there were structures that towered as high as mountains. They didn't ride on horses to travel great distances. They rode in things called cars and flew in things called black hawks."

"Black hawks? Is that a kind of bird?" He asked.

"Not quite. But the future seemed like a wonderful place, the world was also devoid of demons. The world seemed to be a bit freer than it is now. I don't know when that is going to take place, or how, but it left me wondering. Will my children one day die at the hands of humans that they would have been taught to protect?" Kimiko wondered.

Ron placed his hand on her shoulder. "I doubt that the children of you and Midoriichi will be killed. Especially if they have shown that all demons are not the same. I mean think about it did you didn't think that you'd end up married to a demon and having said demons kids did you?"

Kimiko chuckled. "You're right about that. Oh and something else happened."

"Oh yeah, what's that?" Ron asked.

"I ran into a young woman. I believe she might have been one of your descendants."

Ron's eyes widened in excitement, and now he was eager to learn more.

Further in the cave was Akai she was going over the scrolls that had been brought back from the future. She marveled in the condition they were in. The scrolls talked about the war and various clans that existed, which let Akai know they were wrote somewhere at least one hundred and fifty to two hundred years from their current time. The scroll she was reading was the one that convinced Will to visit their timeline. It was called the scroll of Kuraiichi.

However as she started reading it she realized that Will must have misread the scroll. The scroll didn't talk about Midoriichi's birth mother it talked about a descendant that spread death and destruction before being disposed of. A being that led to the end of the demon race. The demon was from their clan and went by the name….

"Midoriko…." Akai whispered.

She slowly lowered the scroll and felt her heart sink. Her granddaughter was going to be a harbinger of death and destruction. According to the future she was. That meant that Midoriko would have to be dealt with before she could grow up.

Akai shook her head, sending away those dark thoughts. She would not kill her infant granddaughter. Instead she would change the future. The future was not set in stone and she would make sure Midoriko's fate was not either.

Elsewhere Moniku was holed up. She was bandaged up around her torso and arms as well as around her left eye. Moniku seethed with anger. She had been disgraced on the battlefield and forced to retreat with her tail between her legs. She held up a mirror, her face, her beautiful face had been ruined. She would make Midoriichi pay for humiliating her.

Bo'A and Komori walked up to Moniku. "Mother." Bo'A called out to her.

"They will pay for what they did to me. I will tear that little canary to pieces!" Moniku roared. Her demonic aura flaring.

"Don't get too riled up, you know that priestess is looking for you." Bo'A warned her.

Moniku chuckled. "She is a persistent one, believe me I know." She's been hot on our trail for a while. The best thing for us to do is separate for a while. We will take this defeat as a lesson. We will learn from it and grow stronger and strike their foes down."

"Separate? For how long?" Komori asked.

"A few years, just to throw our pursuers off the trail. I'll check in periodically, with you all. However I want Midoriichi to get comfortable. I want her whole world to come crumbling down."

The two demons nodded and upon Moniku's command left back to their clans. As Komori walked back to her clan, Will crossed her mind. She missed him, and she knew she wasn't going to see him again. A tear fell from her cheek. She wondered if she made the right decision. Maybe she should have stayed with him. Maybe she would be better off. She wasn't completely sure, the one thing she was sure of was that she wasn't going to find another person like Will who she enjoyed being around.

She placed her hand on her stomach. She would have quite a lot of time on her hands and a lot of planning to do. Komori continued her walk while pondering the many thoughts of where her future was going.

Were-Vamp HQ, New York City

As the sun began to set on the day with many still working hard to reverse the damage the done to Middleton and San Francisco at the hands of terrorists. One man sat at his desk in his office. This man's name is Steve Barkin. He held satisfactory smile on his face as he held a vial full of blood. This wasn't just any blood sample it was Moniku's blood. Barkin was able to successfully retrieve a sample of her blood behind the scenes after the battle. It was too easy since almost everyone was having some sort of backlash or memory loss ever since the final battle.

With this sample he could unlock the secrets behind demon kind. He could then mass produce beings all with Moniku's prowess and strength and then enact his next phase. However before that he would use the current crisis Will left him to his advantage. This would be the kind of publicity Were-Vamp would need to gain public support. He would boost morale and with the public backing him he would eventually be able to obtain more werewolf and vampires easier.

The lights in his office suddenly went off. Barkin looked around puzzled by what had just transpired. Barkin pressed down on the intercom on his desk.

"What the hell is going on out there?" He asked. He did not receive a response.

"They can't hear you." A voice said from behind him.

Barkin turned towards the direction the voice came from. He didn't see anyone. The voice was feminine but he still could not find its owner. Suddenly he felt something grab his left hand. Looking at it he could see that he no longer held the vial with Moniku's blood sample. He was baffled, just what was going on?

"This blood is not meant for mortals like you."

Barkin turned to see a woman in a black hood that fell behind her back like a cape. Under her hood strands of black hair could be seen and the woman's eyes glowed green. Her build was slim with fair skin, with a skin complexion similar to Tara. She wore a black Victorian style bodice with a black Victorian design with white satin material running down over the breasts and stomach over the bodice. On her arms she wore black arm bands. On the right arm band was a white circle with a five pointed star in it. She wore a silver Victorian crystal choker and black laced steampunk knee high boots.

"Who are you?" Barkin asked.

"Someone who will not let you disgrace Moniku-sama." The woman said. She held the vial up and Barkin watched as she evaporated the vial and the blood it contained.

Barkin stood up, but the woman held her ground. A smile formed across her black lips.

"I've been watching for a very long time, waiting and I wont let you foil my plans. Five hundred years have passed and I've done a lot of planning. The realm of demons is far beyond your comprehension."

"Who are you to tell me my limits of comprehension?" He questioned the woman.

"The future subjugator of mankind. You humans think you are the most dangerous thing on this planet. You have no earthly idea was lies sleeping beneath your feet. I represent natural order, and that order shall soon be restored."

Barkin glared at the woman. He began to feel uneasy about her, was she remnant of the forces Will left behind? He moved to grab his gun before the lights flickered again making Barkin look up. When he looked back in the woman's direction she was gone. He looked around the room and saw no sign of her.

He sat down with a sigh. His master plan was no forever out of his reach now leaving him to his other devices. However Barkin was a resourceful man and would not let such a setback deter him. He began to make steps towards his next project. One thing was for sure, the world was going in a new interesting direction from this day onward.
