"For 'ensnaring and eating the hearts of maidens', you're quite childish when it comes to little things."

Howl didn't understand why his cheeks burned when she smiled at him, nor did he expect the funny feeling in his stomach.

Confused, he resumed eating the cake she baked him.

He stopped again when her finger wiped the edge of his mouth, bringing it to her lips.

Glassy eyes widened.

Calcifer suddenly grew to ten times his usual size, causing the castle to jolt violently.

"Ah! T-The cake!"

SPLAT!

Too late.

Kagome patted the depressed wizard's head, "…I'll just make another one."
