Marionette Uzumaki

An: Soooo, I started writing this last year, and I expected it to be a small chapter. Boy was I wrong! Took way longer and shaped into this monster full of fights and dialogue. Hope you enjoy...and I hope I don't write something this long again, on three seperate nights I thought it'd be finished before I finished this chapter.

Story Start

The shock of the room was palpable to all of the present family members sitting in the living room of the Namikaze mansion. Monet's eyes were wide with shock, finding it hard to believe that her leader would send those three along with himself to retrieve someone he despised with all his being. Vergo, too was surprised but his outward appearance didn't show it except for the single bead of sweat trailing down the side of his head. Shikamaru, being relatively new to this, was visibly shocked as he held a trembling hand against his sword while profusely sweating.

The Ope-Ope no mi user was very nervous about meeting the heads of the family that stood right alongside the blond standing in front of him. 76 and Monet had told him plenty of stories about the three Suits, and the stories had him scared to death.

(Flashback)

"So these Suits? Are they really that scary?" Shikamaru asked while lazing about next to the maid of the house as she cleaned the floors. He had heard a little while ago that Julius had received some reports about their whereabouts recently, knowing that each of them had respectively taken out some old Underworld connection of bandit camp that they were tasked with.

"They're terrible. I remember when I first met them they stared into my soul, they can be very distrusting of newbies added to the family and hold a low opinion of us until we can prove ourselves. If they feel that you hold even the slightest bit of ill will toward the Young Master...you'll be dead before you could even consider the possibility of running. As they were probing me the Young Master put an end to it by stepping in front of me, it was so romantic..." the maid explained as she then went off on an unrelated tangent.

'Not very trusting.' Shika thought as the woman started to make a smooching face an started to kiss a picture of Naruto that she kept on her person.

"76 is correct. The Suits aren't to be trifled with, they are fiercely loyal to the Young Master on a level that completely dwarfs ours. They were, after all, the first to be recruited by the family." Monet floated in, adding her two cents on the conversation.

"The first?" Shikamaru questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, as a matter of fact one of them is the entire reason that the family was formed. He inspired our master to become what he is, and find others that would wish to be a part of something more than themselves." Monet smiled fondly.

"What are they like?" the swordsman asked getting more curious as the conversation went on.

"One is quite boisterous and mocking, he'll outright mock you to your face and laugh...he also has a problem with personal space. Another is the complete opposite due to his circumstances he is very quiet and speaks rarely, but he is quick to anger and he will kill you if you make him angry. The last, he is reliable but doesn't respond well to flattery and will deflect it until it is rescinded before he accepts it, and he enjoys a good fight." Monet listed off on her finger-like feathers.

"Sound like quite the amalgam of colorful characters." Shika started to sweat at their descriptions.

"Would you call anyone you've met so far as normal in this family?"Monet smiled. "If you'd like a benchmark for their power, look no further than Vergo. He was almost one of them, though he ultimately decided against it as he wanted to move freely without calling too much attention. The others are well known in the territories that they frequent, so it seems he dodged a bullet, and now you're being considered for the position." Monet explained, noting that the former Nara didn't like the idea.

"I'd prefer not. Gaining notoriety and being hunted sounds a lot like work...too much work." Shika sighed as he somehow became even more lazy, slumping further down the wall he was leaning on.

"I suppose so. I wonder how they'll take meeting you." the harpy giggled.

(Flashback End)

"T-the Suits?" Shikamaru trembled at the thought. Was he ready to meet them? Would they hate him? He didn't look at enough clouds in his life, so he definitely couldn't die yet.

"Fufufu, yep. They'll help take care of this nuisance easily. Don't dawdle, Monet, call them!" Naruto told them woman as she hastily set about her task.

"Even if it would become easier, we shouldn't need their help for those measly bodyguards." Vergo spoke up with a frown.

"True enough, but if I wanna muscle those idiots into allowing me to go retrieve their precious Uchiha I'd better have a considerable fighting force." Naruto reasoned with the man.

"Hate to be the bearer of bad news, Naruto, but those numbers don't add up. You and the three Suits make up 4, but you have to deal with 5 adversaries since I'm sure once Sasuke sees you show up he'll be fighting tooth and nail to stay with his current posse." Shikamaru pointed out.

Naruto simply smirked at the teen before speaking again "An excellent observation, fufufu, which is why we'll be evening the numbers out since you're coming with us." Naruto laughed at the shocked face he saw.

"Me?!" the former Nara shouted.

"It would be an easy way to show them that they can trust you, and prove that you deserve the position you're be considered for." Vergo explained.

"Yeah, but..." he started to say.

"Then it's settled." Naruto laughed as he finally heard the alarms that let the village now that a crisis was in progress. "Looks like they are finally in the know. Monet, how long until they get here?" Naruto asked.

"By tomorrow morning, Young Master. They apologize that it will take so long." she replied.

"No trouble, just getting here is all they need to worry about. Now I just have to get these fools 'permission' to go after that duck-ass." Naruto said as he proceeded to walk out of his home and fly toward the hokage tower for the inevitable meeting.

(Inside the Meeting Room)

"We have to get Sasuke-sama back!" a councilman yelled.

"Who knows what Orochimaru could be doing to him?!" another screamed.

"This is all the demon's fault, he probably talked Sasuke-sama into this!" a third raved as he pointed a hand at the blond.

"How and why would I do that. I had recently returned from a mission and was getting ready to unwind, when the emergency alarm sounds off and as a clan head followed the protocol of convening for a debriefing. I hadn't seen that little bastard since we were in Snow Country." Naruto denied, but with his ever-present smile it seemed like he was lying.

"Regardless of the circumstances, Sasuke Uchiha has fled the village with Orochimaru's bodyguards known as the Sound Four. This is most likely a play by the snake to gain the Sharingan once he needs a new body." Tsunade spoke up, keeping her own thoughts on the blond to herself. Kurenai had given her report on the mission to the Kurama clan household, and she was unhappy to learn that not only was the girl still alive but joined with that annoying blond.

"Awright, getting back on track, fufufu, so what's the plan?" Naruto laughed.

"I plan on sending some genin to go after these criminals and rescue Sasuke before they have a chance to hand him over to Orochimaru." Tsunade explained to the assortment of people who nodded in affirmation of her plan, except one as he decided to laugh loudly instead.

"Sorry, sorry, I just can't help but think how terrible an idea that is. A bunch of genin going after a group that the old snake trusts to deliver his next flesh suit. Hate to say it but that is a terrible idea, those genin of yours aren't worth sending or losing. It'd stain your reputation to have so many die at once." Naruto smiled so wide it looked like his face would split open as he attempted to hold in his chuckles.

"And you would propose?" Tsunade asked, knowing that she wouldn't like this.

"I'm so glad you asked." Naruto smirked as he stood up from his chair. "I have my strongest family members on their way here right now. I'll be taking them along with Shikamaru to get that brat back here." Naruto said.

"Please, why should we trust you?" Tsunade scowled.

"Hm, do you have any other choice. We all know what my family is capable of, if anything this is a guarantee that your Uchiha will be back before you know it." Naruto chuckled now that he saw the woman understood that she had to accept the blond's offer. "They'll be here tomorrow morning, and once they arrive we'll leave." Naruto said, unofficially ending the meeting as he went to go prepare himself for his mission.

'Just you wait brat! You being out of the village is just what I need to prepare for your end!' Tsunade growled at the pink-coat wearing blond.

(The next day)

Standing at the gates of the Namikaze mansion the entire family stood outside, with Yakumo now wearing a new kimono that resembled Picasso's work as it took on an appearance of fragmented glass with white and pink as the dominant colors. Soon their attention was caught as three figures made their approach to the gate, and Naruto made his way over as well to open it for them.

"Behehehe, Naruto! It sure is great to see you after all this time!" a large individual that seemed to be melting approached first, and proceeded to get uncomfortably close to the blond leader.

The man was around the same size as the already tall blond but he had a visible slouch meaning he could actually be taller, he wore a large light blue coat with the club symbol dotting it's bottom half and no shirt, and simple ruffled pants. He held a golden scepter with the club suit at the top, and sunglasses to cover his eyes.

"Nice to see you, Trebol. Now back off!" Naruto greeted the man before shoving the weirdo out of his personal space.

"Ne,ne, no need to be so standoffish. We're family right, behehe!" Trebol laughed, and then set his sights on Baby 76 and saw the woman flinch. "76! Still haven't made your move?" Trebol mocked, once again getting very close to the woman.

"Stop that, you snot rag! Be quiet, don't talk about this stuff out loud!" Baby 76 yelled as she jumped at the man and decided to beat him into silence while he simply laughed.

"I spy some newbies. I thought we wanted to be careful about who we let in, especially if they're from this village." the next man spoke.

This man was clearly taller than Naruto and he had long spindly legs that helped add to his tall look. He wore a dark cape with flower petals on the collar, a red open vest, and white pants that had red diamonds on them. He, much like his leader, seemed to have a perpetual smile that actually seemed to stretch his face so much it left visible lines on it, and a hat on top of his brown-haired head.

"I hope you brats haven't been getting to big for your britches. The last brat that joined thought he was hot shit, so I broke one of his horns off. It doesn't look like you have the same kind of anatomy as him, so if you step out of line you'll be losing something permanently." the man sneered at Shikamaru and Yakumo.

"I would never dream of overstepping my bounds. Naruto-sama has offered me a chance to be powerful and useful it is only fair that I return his kindness." Yakumo bowed to the man.

"And what about you?" he asked Shikamaru, seeing the teen's disinterested face.

"Whatever, I've heard the death threats enough from everyone else around here. Get bent." Shika told the man off, it's much easier to confront these Suits once he saw how silly Trebol acted.

"Hm, I think you need to be taught some respect!" the man scowled, pulling out a folded up square but was stopped by his leader.

"Leave him be, Diamante. Shikamaru is coming with us on this mission, so he doesn't need you crushing him." Naruto smiled as the man backed off with a bashful look on his face.

"You can't mean that, I'm nothing special." Diamante countered.

"Of course I do." Naruto pressed.

"No way, stop lying." Diamante pushed back.

"Alright then, I guess not-" Naruto started.

"If that is what you think, then I guess I am that great!" the tall man yelled, pointing a thumb at himself.

'Certainly a strange one.' Shikamaru thought, facing the last of the Suit as he hadn't moved since arriving.

He was the most muscular out of all the higher-ups and had peculiar spikes on his large shoulders with tattoos of spades on each shoulder, and he wore a golden helmet that held a four pointed star over his eyes with the top point having a spade, underneath the helmet was wavy purple hair. He wore chains as suspenders to hold up a large metallic spade that covered his stomach and a pteruges skirt, and gauntlets on each of his hands.

"Hey, big guy you have anything to say?" Shikamaru asked.

"..." the large man just looked at the former Nara with a quiet intensity, before looking at the blond.

"Pica doesn't talk much, Shikamaru. He's the strong, silent type and he is quite monstrous so I wouldn't mock him." Naruto smiled, as the man they were talking about decided to move toward the others.

"Okay, while we go after the Uchiha, you all need to make sure that everything is ready for our departure. We're leaving this village." Naruto commanded.

"What about the others? Shouldn't we warn them?" Monet asked.

"Not without causing a commotion, or suspicion due to their movements. We'll retrieve them once we leave." Naruto stated.

"Behehe, we won't be hearing the end of it once we get back." Trebol laughed.

"We didn't raise them to be complainers, but if they do have a problem they can take it up with me." Diamante said.

"They're still young so, of course they'll be a little disappointed. I'll make it up to them later." Naruto sighed as they all started to take their leave.

"It is definitely going to be an interesting mission with these four." Shikamaru said with a small smirk. Now that he was out and about his blood was pumping he'd be slightly less lazy...eh he'd probably let out a 'troublesome' every now and then. "How about you big guy?" he then looked toward the silent giant.

"...hm." Pica simply glanced in his direction and inclined his head the slightest bit, all while keeping the same straight face.

Shikamaru started to sweat at the man's silence 'He really is quiet. It just makes me all the more curious!'

"Goodbye, Young Master~Everything will be prepared when you get back!" Baby 76 smiled as she waved excitedly at her retreating leader.

"Farewell, Naruto-sama. I will have a piece finished before you get back depicting our departure from this awful place." Yakumo bowed.

"Oi! We don't have time for your stupid paintings, we have to finish preparing!" 76 scolded.

"What? An angel? 76 I assure you that I am quite plain, but thank you for the compliment." Yakumo blushed while 76 fumed at her misunderstanding.

"Come, your lollygagging is putting us behind schedule." Gladius said from the doorway of the mansion as he sent Julius ahead to his lab to grab all his research and unfinished creations.

"Gladius tell her she can't waste time painting! She'll steal the Young Master's hear-I mean put us behind your timetable." 76 pleaded at the masked teen's feet.

"As long as she finishes her share of the work, she can do whatever she wants afterward." he answered.

"Perhaps I'll help Yakumo then, she is still getting her strength back. That way she has enough time to paint." Monet smiled as 76 cried in a corner.

"Vergo, are you coming? We have to hurry." Gladius asked the man.

Vergo was staring in the direction of the hokage tower with a look of consternation on his face. He didn't trust this village, even if his leader succeeded he doubted they would simply let them be. Naruto could save them from a meteor strike and they would still hate them all, and now that the blond had power it made them desperate. Vergo would never say it out loud, but he thought that Naruto took too many risks his luck just helped things play out in his favor more often than not. Now...Sasuke had just outsmarted them despite the fact he was barely in their sights as a threat, but with the snake's help he could become a powerful obstacle. Vergo still decided to remain quiet and follow his leader, it wasn't his place to question him as he gave up the Heart seat. Naruto needed to make his own mistakes, and his family would be there to make sure those mistakes didn't end with his death...he hoped.

"Vergo?" Gladius asked again.

"I'm fine. We haven't the time to waste, and I'm certainly not helping the situation." Vergo turned toward the door and walked inside.

"Hm, did you eat pancakes." Gladius stated more than asked.

"Yes...how did you know that?" Vergo asked, puzzled. He is a very perceptive man, but still couldn't get the hang of eating without getting any on his face.

"Just a lucky guess." Gladius sighed.

(In the hokage's office)

"He's left the village with his soldiers hokage-sama." an ANBU told his leader as she stared out her window.

"Good, we have preparations to complete. Move as quickly and as quietly as you can, we won't have a second chance to do this." Tsunade commanded as the man nodded, he and many more ninja went about doing their specific jobs to prepare for their offensive.

Tsunade waited for the ANBU to leave before she opened her cloak to look at the mark that lied on her breast and glared at it just imagining the blond's cruelly smiling face.

'Don't forget who holds your strings, puppet.' she heard him whisper in her head, the smile growing in his face accompanied by a maniacal laugh. 'You won't have any power over me brat. Not anymore!' she glared out into the village and was able to faintly make out the pink coat of the teen she hated so much.

(A few miles from Oto)

"Are we almost there?" Sasuke asked. He didn't expect the trek to his new village to take this long, but he neglected to remember the simple fact that the village was run by one of the most wanted criminals in the ninja world.

"Yes, but we're going to take a break here." Sakon answered the teen.

"Why? If we're close we should keep moving! Who knows how many Leaf-nin are on our tail, getting across the border will stop them!" Sasuke sneered.

"Listen, our mission is to deliver you to Orochimaru-sama. We won't let those idiots get in the way, even if we die there are others waiting to pick you up." Kidomaru told the Uchiha.

"Kidomaru is right, but before we cross the border Orochimaru-sama wanted us to make sure your curse mark would be under your control and reach its second stage." Jirobo spoke up, pulling out a vial filled with pills and tossing one to Sasuke.

"What is this supposed to be?" Sasuke asked.

"In order for your dumbass to reach the second level, we have to kill you." Tayuya spoke up, summoning a large coffin.

"What?" Sasuke asked, ignoring her language.

"It isn't permanent. The pill accelerates the curse mark's growth, but due to this it will kill you. To prevent this we are going to seal you into this coffin which will only cause a temporary death until your body adjusts." Sakon elaborated to the Uchiha.

"When you emerge we will be in Oto." Kidomaru let Sasuke know, watching with the others as their charge took the pill and died.

The Sound Four then placed Sasuke's body inside his coffin and sealed him in, deciding to take a break before heading to Oto. This decision would prove to be a mistake since they neglected to notice a nearby stone had a face on it that watched them before disappearing.

"Well..." Naruto asked Pica as the man arose from the ground, inclining his head in the opposing group's direction.

With that information the family started to approach the group casually, with Pica sinking back into the ground; Diamante flattening and drifting into the wind; Trebol jumped into the surrounding trees with a laugh; and Shikamaru stopped a quarter of the way there. This left Naruto as the sole member walking into the clearing with a smile, getting the attention of the Sound Four.

"No! It's that guy again!" Jirobo panicked.

"What is he doing here?" Sakon started to sweat.

"No reason to be afraid, kids. I just came for Sasuke...where is he?" Naruto asked once he found that he couldn't sense the Uchiha's presence.

"We sent him ahead to Oto, you'll never get to him!" Kidomaru bluffed.

"Oto, huh? Well, I guess I'll be destroying a village today." Naruto smiled at their paling faces.

"What, you can't be serious! That will break the law." Tayuya yelled.

"The law? I could care less about these laws, if I want to do something I do it. I also don't appreciate liars." Naruto ground out, annoyed that they wouldn't give the Uchiha up. "If he was truly in Oto, why wouldn't you have followed? Just give him up!" Naruto shouted unleashing a burst of Haoshoku Haki to intimidate them.

'His presence...it's just as overwhelming as Orochimaru's! Maybe even more.' they all thought, deciding to cut their losses and run.

"Pica!" Naruto called as a wall of stone was erected in their path.

"Dammit!" Kidomaru shouted, leaping at the blond with a kunai in hand, but was blocked as what seemed like a piece of paper blocked the blade. "What?"

"Uhahaha, you shouldn't get so upset! You were just outsmarted!" the piece of paper turned over to reveal a man's face before unfolding and turning three-dimensional.

"What the hell?" Kidomaru screamed in surprise and barely managed to dodge a sword strike from the taller man.

"Ne ne, there's nowhere for you to run now! You're surrounded!" Trebol screamed as he jumped from his position and landed, covering the ground in a sticky substance that halted the enemies movements.

"Quick the coffin! Jirobo called, but a blue dome surrounded them and he saw the coffin switch places with a rock before appearing next to Shikamaru.

"Sorry, but we had this formation set up from the beginning. No matter which way you went you'd end up captured." Shikamaru sighed, leaning on the coffin.

"I can't help but feel that our dear Sasuke is in this coffin, but the peculiar thing is that I can't 'hear' his voice. Why is that?" Naruto asked.

"Does it matter? We should just run it through and end it here! That bastard doesn't deserve to get the Sharingan and killing this runt will set him back." Diamante added, swinging his sword at the coffin but Trebol's scepter stopped him.

"Wait, if he is sealed in there then we can't really do much to him on the outside. We have no way of breaking it either." Trebol informed, looking over to their captives to make sure they were still trapped.

"So...what? We wait for him to come out of there?" Shika asked, scratching his head in irritation.

Pica then made his way over, since there was no need for his wall. "..." Pica looked intensely at the coffin.

"That won't work, Pica. We'll just have to wait for this idiot to emerge...Hm!" Naruto was shocked as a giant dome was erected around them and the coffin slipped through a hole in the ground.

"Damn them!" Trebol raged since the dome cut his connection with his sticky substance causing it to loosen.

"Luckily I was able to get my hands to the ground to activate that. Get going! I'll hold them off!" Jirobo shouted as his teammates fled.

The heavyset teen then turned back to his dome, but saw a face appear on it. Suddenly spikes jutted from the dome to impale him which he had to dodge, and upon breaking contact with the dome it was destroyed. This left him to deal with the entirety of the group.

"That was a really good plan. You certainly got one over on us, but now the kid gloves are off. You're all alone." Naruto took a step forward, prepared to end the teen but was held off by Trebol.

"Go on ahead and get the others! Isn't this why you brought us? Behehe, I'll take care of the fatso here and catch up." Trebol said while lifting his shades over his eyes to glare at Jirobo.

"Fat?! What about you!" Jirobo shouted in indignation.

"Behehe, you'd be surprised! Beta Beta Chēn (Sticky-Sticky Chain)!" the sticky man then shot a strange chain made of his substance that stuck to Jirobo. The rest of the family took this opportunity to pass the Oto-nin as he tried to free himself.

"Stop!" Jirobo tried to chase after them, but was surprised when he was suddenly pulled into the air by the sticky chain.

"I won't let yooooouuuuu stopp theeeeemmmmm! Beta Betton Meteōra (Sticky-Stick Meteor)!" Trebol shouted, bringing the teen headfirst into the ground.

Luckily for Jirobo his earth affinity and practice allowed him to soften the dirt so the damage wouldn't break his neck. The bodyguard immediately retaliated by launching earth spike at his opponent and was shocked as he jumped high into the air to avoid them. The orange-haired teen remembered the fact that his opponent's ability would scatter from his impact with the ground and trap him again, so he took to the trees in order to avoid the sticky substance's blast radius.

"Dammit! This nose goblin is beginning to piss me off!" Jirobo sneered at the smiling face of the man.

"I'll have you know that even though my nose runs, this isn't snot!" Trebol corrected, and used another chain to rip a tree from its roots to smash his enemy into a fine paste.

"I won't fail, Orochimaru-sama!" shouted as he met the tree head-on and smashed it, allowing his curse mark to spread over his body. Jirobo then directed himself at the ground and launched more spikes that were created much faster due to his mark which tore through Trebol.

"Ahhhhh!" Trebol shouted, falling to the ground in a heap with Jirobo leaping over his carcass.

"You shouldn't have gotten in the way!" he spit without giving the man a passing glance.

"Ne, ne, really? You are the ones who are getting in our way!" Trebol said getting up and into Jirobo's face, forcing the teen to jump back because of the closeness.

This move was his undoing as his foot landed on Trebol's substance and halted his movement. Trebol stood over the teen and bent down as he pulled his sunglasses over his forehead to look Jirobo in the eyes.

"You see what you're up against, boy. You go around following that snake, and expect him to protect you and keep you alive! Behehe, you know the funny thing about snakes is the fact that they are just another slippery worm. He'll use anything and everything to ensure his survival, even if it means sacrificing you." Trebol laughed.

"Well, what about you! You think that blond guy needs you?! If you lost here he wouldn't care at all, you're just as worthless as us!" Jirobo countered with his own logic.

Trebol simply leaned down to the teen and glared so intensely that Jirobo felt that he would catch fire...which wasn't too far from the truth as the sticky-man brought his scepter up to reveal it had a lighter in it. Jirobo was confused at the action, watching in fear and slight curiosity at the man's next action.

"Be...he...he, that is where you are wrong. The difference between your group and mine is quite simple. We are family, we care about each other. Can you say the same about your teammates?" Trebol asked, and upon seeing the teen's flinch knew the answer. "Lucky for you, you won't have to live with failure. My substance is very flammable, you know." Trebol smiled, slowly lowering the lighter to the globule that held Jirobo's foot.

"Wait!" Jirobo screamed as the fire struck the substance and blew him to kingdom come.

"Behehehe, that was so pathetic! I can't stop snotting, behehe!" Trebol laughed, but was taken by surprise when the teen rose up.

Jirobo had activated the second stage of his curse mark causing him to gain longer hair going down to the middle of his back, warts on his forehead and shoulders, and maroon colored skin. Jirobo took on the appearance of an ogre in this form, and he looked none to happy about being blown up.

"So this is the second level of that seal? I can't say that I'm impressed, behehe. At least tell me you'll be more of a challenge." Trebol laughed.

"You're about to find out, you snotty bastard!" Jirobo shouted.

"I told you it isn't all snot! I'm just sticky!" Trebol yelled back indignantly, using his scepter to block a punch.

(With the others)

Naruto was getting annoyed as he chased the rest of the sound team with his family, to the point that he was simply slicing through the trees rather than going around them

to keep his target in his sights. The blond fired a string at the coffin containing the Uchiha, but it was deflected like all the others he had fired by that six-armed bastard's arrows! Whenever the blond would aim at one of the ninja the result would be the same, and it was pissing him off.

"Don't space out!" Diamante called, using his cape to stop an arrow that was coming for him.

"Sorry, I'm just sick of him getting in the way. Even though we got rid of their muscle, I guess they are more skilled than we thought. Our first move should be to get rid of that spider, with him out of the way I could at least shoot the rest of them and get the coffin." Naruto planned.

Kidomaru was also thinking about the weirdo that could flatten himself into paper. Before this guy had come along he had never missed any shot he made, even if someone was hiding behind an object he simply shot through it. Then this guy came along and blocked them with his cape!

"Hey, you should watch where you're going." Shikamaru said from behind Kidomaru, since he gained some stamina back he decided to use his Room to place himself in their path. "Just hand over the coffin!" he shouted slicing horizontally causing the surrounding trees inside the dome to be sliced as well.

"Jump!" Sakon shouted leaping over the former Nara.

"Escaping from us is impossible. Takt." Shika sent the trees he sliced into the escape route of the group. "Would you just give up?" Shikamaru asked calmly.

"Fuck you, limp dick!" Tayuya shouted.

"Well, that isn't very ladylike." he replied in exasperation. He then approached the group slowly, but witnessed the two-headed Sound-nin phase through his blockade while taking the coffin with him.

"Tch, nice job. You let him get away!" Diamante criticized the former Nara. He would have continued, but he was halted as he was moved by Shikamaru's powers in order to avoid a ghostly fist coming down on his position.

"You're welcome." Shika smirked, watching as the ghostly figure smashed through the trees, and fled with the girl.

Before the tall man could retort, his leader rushed past along with Pica and yelled back to them, "Oi! Stop slacking and hurry up!" the blond called without stopping his forward motion.

"Stop! You aren't going anywhere" Kidomaru called angrily, being forgotten by the group. The six-armed teen then let loose an arrow that was aimed at the back of the blond.

"I'm really getting sick of you, kid! You can't just take out the headliner like that. Where's your showmanship? Everyone loves to see a good fight and what better fight will there be, when my leader takes that Uchiha brat out, Uahaha?!" Diamante asked with a wide grin directed at the spider-like ninja.

"You! I don't know how you did it, but you blocked my arrows. No one has ever done that, it makes my stomach crawl knowing that a weirdo such as yourself can be the first and I will make sure you are the last!" Kidomaru snarled, creating another arrow to launch.

"That ferocity, I love it! I'll be more than happy to take you on, and show you what the pecking order is. Get going, newbie, I will be taking care of this one!" Diamante declared with a flourish of his cape.

"Tch, it'll be a quieter mission now at least." Shika sighed, pressing onward to catch up with his team.

"Hn, I'll be teaching him some manners later. Now then, the name is Diamante! That's the last courtesy I'll extend to you before you die!" Diamante proclaimed brandishing his sword which made the six-armed ninja smirk.

"A swordsman, huh? You are going to be at a severe disadvantage if that is your weapon. All I have to do avoid hitting that cape of yours and I can easily end you from the trees!" Kidomaru cockily laughed, jumping into a treetop.

Diamante looked unimpressed at his enemy's analysis of his abilities, simply watching the teen take aim with his bow and let loose an arrow that he simply deflected with his sword. The tall man was shocked, though as another arrow was instantly upon him and was struck in the side while Kidomaru laughed.

"I knew you would most likely stop the arrow again. So I decided to have a second one hidden just in case that way you'd focus on the first." Kidomaru smirked.

"Heh, that was a pretty good plan." Diamante sarcastically praised, revealing that he once again had flattened himself in order to bend away from the arrow that was now stuck in the ground. The man then floated up to his own tree, returning to his three-dimensional form.

"Even with a useless Kekkei Genkai like that, you're still a pain in the ass." Kidomaru said with an irritated look.

"It isn't Kekkei Genkai, it's devil fruit powers, specifically the Hira-Hira no mi (Ripple-Ripple Fruit). Anything I touch, in layman's terms, turns into a flag!" Diamante explained. The man then demonstrated by flattening his sword, before jumping toward the six-armed teen.

"What good does that do you? Turning everything into a flag seems pretty worthless in a fight!" he mocked.

"I find it funny that every person I face has similar thoughts until they see what I can do. Wīpera Gureibu (Vipera Glaive)!" at the shout of his attack, Diamante's sword/whip began to weave as if it were alive and honed in on Kidomaru.

The teen became shocked at the sword's movements and was shocked when it still cut him while wrapping around his upper-left arm. He then shouted in pain once the taller man pulled the sword effectively skinning Kidomaru.

"What the hell?!" he screamed.

"I'm sure you're able to tell now, that anything flattened by my powers retains its original properties. For instance, if a steel slab were to be influenced by me?" Diamante smirked.

'The cape! That's why it was able to stop my arrows!' Kidomaru deduced from the man's hint.

"Seems you understand, kid. Now the question is, what will you do about it?" Diamante asked, sending his blade on the attack once again. He smiled when Kidomaru attempted to dodge the snake-like blade but failed multiple times, leading to cuts littering his opponent's body.

"Damn, why didn't Orochimaru warn us about you people?!" Kidomaru moaned in pain, watching the man approach him.

"That's what's wrong with you kids today. You get a little skill and you suddenly think your hot shit. You think my master gained his powers and just decided to conquer? Nope, he took months which turned into years to train his powers and spirit to get to where he is now. What have you done!? What have you gone through compared to us, you little bastard?!" Diamante angrily assaulted the teen with his sword, which was returned to its regular state.

"What?" Kidomaru asked in pain.

"All you did was have above average skill so that worm took notice of you, and gained a hickey afterward. You certainly seem to think you're better than others simply because of the skill you have, but now that you've met someone that can perfectly counter your abilities, you freeze up. Don't worry, I have the perfect way of beating this lesson into you, but you won't live long enough to use that knowledge! Korīda Gureibu (Corrida Glaive)!" Diamante then used his powers to flatten the blade before wrapping it into the shape of a bull's head, and proceeded to bludgeon Kidomaru repeatedly.

'This is crazy! These guys are this strong, and Orochimaru didn't know about them for this long! It's no wonder Jirobo hasn't caught up yet, he must have lost or he is fighting seriously. Which means...' Kidomaru thought, trying to block out the pain in his skull as he was beaten.

"I find the best way to get the point across is to beat it into the skull directly, especially with you holier-than-thou brats, Uhahaha!" Diamante laughed finally ending his beating by punching the teen into a tree and watching the blood flow from his bruised skull. The man turned to walk away, but turned when he heard laughter and couldn't help but smile.

Kidomaru had gotten up and went into his second stage of the curse mark, making him look like an oni demon while gaining red skin. The icing on this cake was the fact that the spider-oni's headband had unraveled because of the damage it had sustained from the beating to reveal a third eye.

Diamante gained a amused look in his eye, and watched as his opponent healed the injuries he had inflicted. The man decided to take a microphone out, and spoke into it as if he was an announcer introducing a fighter. "This is an unexpected turnaround folks! Despite being beaten to near-death our underdog has risen back up for an encore performance. I hate to say this ladies and gentlemen, but...it would have been better if he stayed down." Diamante laughed loudly in excitement, getting ready for the second round.

(In a gorge)

"Fufufu, you're running out of roadblocks, kids. If you give the Uchiha up, I'll let you live!" Naruto laughed at the remaining opposition between him and his target.

'Damn, him! He thinks that he can mock us? I'll show him, this gorge is perfect for my traps!' Sakon chuckled to himself as he laid nearly invisible string behind him while he fled.

Unfortunately, Naruto was adept at seeing things that most people would miss wit the naked eye, since he had to constantly use strings on his enemies. So, Sakon was at a severe disadvantage using strings against the Ito Ningen (String Human) which was proven when the blond simply tore through the trap with his own strings.

"I guess you haven't realized that I use strings, too!" Naruto mocked the shocked teen.

"Good going, asshole!" Tayuya scolded the twin.

"Shut up! How was I supposed to know?!" Sakon panicked.

During this time, Pica had become tired of the chase and used his surroundings to merge with the stone gorge, creating a large wall in front of the sound-nin with his face on it. The muscular man then stared down at the cowering teens, and started to open his mouth.

"Hn, he must be really mad if he's going to talk directly." Naruto noticed, deciding to hold Shikamaru back. He knew what was coming, and when it happened...let's just say that Pica had a tendency to forget who was around him while attacking.

'I can finally hear him speak!' Shika thought with bated breath, not realizing the danger.

"I'm getting tire of you, gnats! Surrender the Uchiha, Now!" the man demanded...too bad his command was drowned out by the boisterous laughter because of his high-pitched voice.

"How can such a big guy have such a funny voice!?" Sakon snickered.

"Grrr!" Pica seethed.

"Pfft, have your balls dropped yet!" Tayuya laughed.

"I'll make you pay! I'll crush you...SO THERE'S NOTHING BUT DUST LEFT!" Pica screamed at the top of his lungs, making the terrain shift and rumble.

"Now I see what Monet meant by 'quick to anger', and that voice is quite the throw off." Shikamaru said with wide eyes at the carnage that the Ishi Ningen (Stone Human) or rather Ganseki Dōka Ningen (Stone Assimilation Human) wrought.

"Yeah, he needs to work on that, but I can't really blame him. If someone laughed at me I'd wanna kill them too." Naruto justified his family member's rage.

"This is insane! How could Orochimaru-sama think that we could do this!" Ukon shouted in fear, having been woken up by the commotion.

"All we have to do is get out of the gorge! He won't have complete control out there!" Sakon yelled.

"You really think that I'd let you escape after what you've done?! Everything here is mine!" Pica demonstrated by creating a giant hand to crush them.

"Oi, Pica! We still need that brat for the village, it'll be a pain to explain why he wound up a bloody stain!" Naruto shouted.

"You shouldn't play so much, Naruto! We don't need him at all." Pica grumbled, deciding to use his powers to elevate the coffin out of harm's way. He was slightly surprised when a large oni-like ghost attacked the platform he had placed it on, and another attacked his face.

"I'm outta here! I'm taking the bastard with me, Sakon!" Tayuya shouted as she ran.

"It's amusing that you think you are going to escape, Pikkya-Pikkyarara!" Pica laughed.

"Come on! You're just trying to get us to laugh at you! There's no way that can be your real laugh!" Sakon shouted indignantly.

"Nnnh!" Pica glared at the two-headed teen, and focused his attack on him instead of the redhead.

"Those guys sure know how to push his buttons." Naruto chuckled, watching the teen struggle against the superior man.

"Wait!" Shikamaru shouted suddenly as Naruto flew, holding him by the collar.

"What is it?" Naruto asked.

"With the current trend of events we've had, I'm gonna fight the next person while you retrieve the coffin...right?" Shika asked nervously.

"Um, yeah. I'm not seeing your point though." Naruto wondered what his friend was getting at.

"That means I have to fight a girl! AGAIN!" Shikamaru screamed in horror.

"That's what you're worried about!" Naruto shouted in anger, accidentally dropping the surgeon in his shock.

"Dammit, even with the level two curse mark I can barely keep up!" Sakon panted in rage at the face watching him from the stone.

"This is the best you have to offer? Your entire team is pathetic." Pica stated matter-of-factly with a straight face.

"Hn, please! We are the elite of Orochimaru-sama's army! No one can defeat us, for we have our master with us always! Sakon grew angry at his master's slandering.

"Brother, are you crazy?! We have no chance of beating this man, we should flee!" Ukon pleaded with his sibling. They were outmatched, and they were using their second level of the Curse Mark.

"Silence, Ukon! We will prevail!" Sakon chastised his older brother for his lack of faith.

"You should listen to him, he is trying to keep you alive." Pica said, making his face appear at the wall of the gorge with a straight face.

"You...shut up!" Sakon roared attacking the stone face and destroying it.

"It is pointless to attack me. You're completely outclassed by my abilities. Puruposuton (Octopus Stone)!" he called, causing multiple tentacles of stone to jut from the walls surrounding them and direct themselves toward the twins in order to pierce them. The tentacles attacks had kicked up a large amount of dust that caused the stone man to lose track of his targets.

Once he let up on his attacks Pica stretched his head downward to search for the carcasses of the twins. Despite searching thoroughly, though, he was unable to locate the bodies of the two Sound-nin.

"Hn, where could they have gotten to? They haven't fled have they?" Pica wondered aloud.

"No, we just captured you." Sakon snickered to himself.

"That was close, I gotta say. I lost my head there, but I guess that the older brother can learn from the younger now and then." Ukon breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hm, that is an interesting ability you have." Pica noted, watching as the twins somehow appeared on his stone face almost like pimples.

"That's right, we've got you right where we want you now. With our abilities we're able to fuse with our target on a cellular level, eventually destroying all of the original cells and replacing them with our own. You won't have to worry though, you will be dead before that happens.

The twins watched as Pica trembled in what they thought was fear, but were surprised when the man laughed (while holding their own back). Once his laughing stopped Pica turned his gaze toward the nearest twin, which happened to be Ukon and spoke.

"You seem to be under the impression that my entire body takes up the stone I absorb, but that is incorrect. I simply reside inside the stone, therefore if you want to destroy my cells you will have to find my body inside of the colossus first." Pica revealed, shocking the two. "I have to thank you for making my job easier, though. If you're on my body then it is much easier to kill you!"

"No! Sakon, quickly get off-" Ukon was cut off as large spikes pierced his chest along with his brother.

"Scum." Pica scoffed, nonchalantly flicking their dead bodies off of his spikes before turning towards the direction that Naruto had gone in.

(In the forest)

"Dammit, Naruto! Please don't make me fight her, I'll do anything!" Shikamaru pleaded to his leader in desperation.

"Man up! I wanna take that brat out and I can't do that with her guarding him. So get rid of her." Naruto argued.

"Why can't we team up or something then?" he whined.

"We've got her right where we want her, completely cornered. She'll either have to drop the coffin or fight us, and I'm sure she realizes she can't fight the both of us." Naruto pointed out.

"So you want to force her to make one of those decisions? Then why can't I be the one to retrieve the coffin?" Shika reasoned.

"I wanna crush that asshole completely, and I'm done wasting strength on these guys. That's why I want you to preoccupy her." Naruto sternly said.

"Fine, you got it boss. Even if it'll be a drag." he said with a sigh, opening a Rūmu (Room). Once the dome was set up Shikamaru used his powers to place himself in front of the girl as Naruto floated behind them. "Give it up, you're outnumbered and surrounded." he lazily smirked.

"If you give up the coffin, I'm inclined to let you go." Naruto smiled.

Tayuya weighed her options carefully, she definitely couldn't beat the both of them. She turned her head toward the coffin, placing her hand on its lid and tightening her hands. Ultimately, she decided to hand over the coffin with a resigned look on her face, handing the coffin over to the smirking swordsman.

"Wise choice." Shika stated while reaching to take the coffin from the girl...but was surprised when Naruto shoved him out of the way.

Shikamaru was about to ask why he would do something like that, but shut up when he saw a pale teen with a strange white spear of some sort. It turned out that the blond had saved the former Nara from being impaled by the new arrival, and watched his boss clash with the new teen. Naruto currently had his leg coated in Busoshoku Haki for added attack power, and was mildly impressed when the teen didn't blast off from the power the blond put behind the kick.

"Tayuya." the new teen spoke to the girl.

"Ki-Kimimaro? I thought you were sick. What are you doing here?" Tayuya nervously asked the teen in fear.

"Orochimaru-sama has grown impatient with you four. He sent me to make sure that you weren't dawdling, instead I find you about to hand over the Uchiha to the Leaf. I should kill you." Kimimaro threatened, landing onto the tree branch they were all standing on.

"I'd hate to break this up, but I need that coffin." Naruto smiled with Shikamaru by his side.

"How about we pick up where we left off and-" Shika started, but stopped when the only girl there decided to push the coffin off of the tree. "Well that isn't very polite." Shika sighed, reopening his Rūmu (Room) to retrieve the item but was shocked to see that Kimimaro moved faster and grabbed it in freefall. "Oh no." Shika sighed looking to the incensed blond and watched the veins pulse on his forehead.

"Take care of her!" Naruto shouted, taking off at full speed with the intent to kill the albino evident.

"Can do." Shika shrugged in resignation.

"He's done for. Kimimaro was able to beat all four of us at our best. Even if that guy took on Orochimaru, he won't be able to beat Kimimaro." Tayuya smirked.

"I don't think you believe that. We've seen what he is capable of and now you've made him mad." Shika smirked with a hand on his hat. "Now, I've gotta make sure that you don't leave here." he stared into her eyes.

"Pft, like I'll lose to some guy that's pussy enough to be afraid of girls." she laughed haughtily.

"I'm not afraid, just averse. After all, this is gonna be way too easy." the hat wearing teen spoke in confidence. He then looked calmly as a large ogre drove its fist where he was standing."

"Easy?! I'm not some cheap whore from your village. I'll make sure that blond asshole learns his place by killing you." Tayuya smirked with her flute being lowered from her lips.

"So, you use the flute to direct those things? That's impressive...and foolish. What would happen if one were to engage in close range combat?" Shikamaru asked, his blade raised to slice her in two but was stopped when a second ogre appeared.

"This happens, bitch!" Tayuya laughed.

The swordsman looked unimpressed as the large fist was brought down on him, deciding to use his powers to switch places with the girl. The ogre screeched to a halt, showing that the girl had great control of them as the two summons stood by her side and were joined by a third.

"Damn, this'll get old. Might as well go all out, then." Shika sighed, and immediately sliced one of the ogres in two.

"Damn, forgot that range doesn't matter in this dome." Tayuya sneered, playing her flute in order for both of her summons to go on the attack to buy time for the third's regeneration.

Shikamaru was doing well against the two larger adversaries, blocking and attack with the occasional need to trade places. Eventually, he scored a hit that cleaved an arm off of one, and subsequently used his powers to launch the arm toward the musician. The appendage forced the girl to dodge the attack, but also put her right where the former Nara wanted her as he was there to meet her once she stopped moving.

"Shit!" she screamed, ducking under a swipe that reverberated throughout the forest as the trees within his range suddenly split. The girl was in awe at the feat and backpedaled when he brought his hand down toward her.

"Mesu (Scalpel)!" Shikamaru exclaimed as his hand went hit the branch, and when he brought it back up there was a square-shaped hole in the branch. "Nice dodge. It's too bad, though, I would have loved to see your heart." Shikamaru smirked sadistically, it had been a bit of a new fascination of his. He already had a small collection, and he didn't really plan on stopping.

"Wh-what?" she paled at the smirk on her opponent's face.

"Yeah, I'm of a very particular taste. Due to my powers I have to have extensive medical knowledge to properly utilize them. I know the human body quite well, which makes me a deadly foe." Shikamaru said nonchalantly but had a dead-eyed glare fixed on the girl.

"So that attack?" she asked warily.

"If it impacted your body that section would have been forcibly removed, so it is more for instant incapacitation. Who would want an important part of their anatomy held hostage, after all?" he asked.

"You bastard, you think just cause of those messed up powers that you can beat me? I'm no pushover." she yelled, entering her second state.

"Good. You're taking me seriously now. That means that you won't have any more trump cards up your sleeve and I can finally beat you. I have to admit, I am a bit interested in the augmentations that the mark grants you." Shika moved himself behind the now horned girl.

"You'll find out!" she screamed while using her hand to catch the blade with ease, before deflecting the blade and making the slash miss with it damaging another tree instead.

"Now you can actually protect yourself, eh?" the devil fruit user sighed when the ogres moved with much greater speed to attack him.

"That's not all, dickless!" she laughed when the ogres once again ganged up on the lone swordsman and splintering the end of the branch.

Once again the teen moved himself but instead of being in a ready stance he was sitting down as he sheathed his sword and rested his head in the palm of his hand when finished. He lazily smiled when the ogres surrounded him to finish him off, and the girl held her flute in front of her lips to give the command at a moments notice. She however was taken aback by his next words.

"I'm tired." Shika sighed and looked up past the summons at the clouds rolling by, ignoring the girl's angry look.

"Are you serious!? After all this you're giving up!?" she screamed in anger.

"No, I'd never do that. Using my powers just drains stamina so I definitely don't want to exhaust myself if I don't have to. I've won already, anyway." Shikamaru stated simply with his smile never leaving his face.

Tayuya on the other hand was livid that this bastard had danced circles around her the entire fight, and now he claimed he was tired. This had to be a bluff to get her to let her guard down so he could finish her off, or he'd switch places with her and go for her heart again.

"You think I'd buy that garbage, asshole! Even if you are tired, my ogres are surrounding you!" she shouted with uncertainty.

"True, but I have you surrounded as well." Shika pointed at the thousands of shards of wood that were floating around the girl poised to impale her.

"Shit!" she growled and called her summons back to her side to defend her once the inevitable rain started, but it didn't come.

"I'll give you a fighting chance here. You have about two options to try here; the first is to rush me with your pals there and hope they can get me before the shards pierce you, or your second plan can be using them to defend from the shards and pray that I wasn't lying when I told you I was getting tired. So, what'll it be?" he advised the girl.

'Dammit, that mocking bastard. If I do attack, he'll expect that and switch places with a shard and take me out while the ogres attack nothing. If I defend, I'll be so focused on the shards I'll lose track of him.' she thought while watching the ex-Nara patiently wait for her. 'I have to bank on the fact that he actually is tired, but I could just attack with one and keep the others to myself then he can't switch places or he'll have to deal with me and an ogre. This could work!' she thought with a smirk appearing on her face.

"Figure out your strategy?" he asked her, taking his head slightly off of his hand to look at her.

"Yep, and I've won!" she said in a victorious tone, two of her summons stand in front of her and the last going to attack him. "This is what you get for being so arrogant! I have power, too, but it isn't just my skill and strength!" she laughed.

Shikamaru simply sighed to himself, deciding to send the deadly splinters toward the back of the ogre heading toward him.

"Even if you take him out it won't be for long!" she smiled at what she thought was a desperate move, but was silenced when the projectiles passed over the behemoth instead.

"You should have used one of my strategies, girl. If you attacked with all three, I would have needed to move and reassess giving you an opportunity however small. Defending wouldn't have afforded you that opening, but you'd have lived longer in either scenario. I mentioned those two because they were the best options, and the one you chose was one I thought that an idiot would think of." he scolded her as if she were a child while looking at her coldly, leaving the shards to continue hurtling toward him.

"What!" she would have continued, but she felt herself shift suddenly, and found she was staring at nothing but still heard his voice.

"You forgot that I could switch places with you, as well. Keeping two at your side to defend was smart in short term thinking, but when I can freely move your body, does it matter. After all, I've shown their numbers mean nothing, but I also know you have to see me to command them to attack, so with your back turned like that precious time was lost and now you see why it was an idiotic plan...bye." he explained without turning his head from his position.

Tayuya had the time to turn her head and look at the back of her opponent, before the shrapnel dug into her body from all angles. Some would go straight through to the other side of her body while those that were more serrated tore through before resting in her body as they could go no further. Soon she fell from her branch limply, and collided with the ground slowly bleeding out with a broken neck from the fall.

"Lucky...falling on your neck at least let you die fast, I'd have let you bleed and suffer." Shikamaru regarded the carcass with a sideways glance and decided to wait for his boss to come find him once he finished his business.

(With Naruto)

"Give me that coffin!" Naruto yelled as he flew through the forest after the last obstacle between him and one of the people he hated most. The blond didn't do much to contain his rage now, having to go through each member of this idiotic team as they protected that worthless Uchiha grated on his nerves. His frustration was coming out in full force, using his strings to destroy the trees in his path in order to keep at top speed as he chased the albino. "Tamaito (Bullet String)!" Naruto yelled, taking aim at the teen and firing several strings at his back.

Surprisingly his strings were deflected by the albino's own bullets that seemed to come from his fingertips from what he could tell, but he didn't dwell on it for too long as he took the opportunity to close the distance. The blond planted a foot on the back of the fleeing ninja to hold him in place as they fell to the ground.

"Fufufu, you put up a good fight but it looks like you los-hn!" Naruto winced in pain as his foot was run through by some white blade that was coming from the sound-nin's back. This led to the blond removing his foot, and the albino righting himself before hitting the ground and taking off into a sprint once again.

"You shouldn't underestimate a Kaguya, boy!" he mocked.

"You think that you can look down on me, when you're the one running?!" Naruto's brow twitched and flared his Haki in his anger. At this point the kid gloves had come off, the blond started by bursting through the forest again and landed an armament-clad punch to the albino's face, causing him to fly through several trees but he managed to skid along the ground and keep running.

Kimimaro then returned in kind by firing more bone bullets from his fingers that Naruto blocked, raising his arms into 'x' to shield his face and imbuing his arms in Haki to keep them from drilling too far into his skin. The blond decided to retaliate by swiping his strings toward the Kaguya, as they tore their way toward him he made his bones jut from his chest to block the brunt of them but felt as they dug pretty far into the shield of bone and launched him at another tree.

Luckily for the albino the forest had ended and made way for a clearing, in which he had roughly landed as he protected the coffin with his body in order to keep the cargo within safe. Kimimaro shakily got to his feet, placing his mission behind his back and standing at the ready. He warily watched the forest, waiting for the foe he knew was lurking inside, and began to sweat once he heard trees being cut down.

"Looks to me that there is nowhere else to run, my friend. This could all end if you just hand me that coffin." Naruto smirked while he stalked out of the forest menacingly with an evil tint coming off of his sunglasses.

"Never, Orochimaru-sama has use for him. That is all the reason I need to allow Sasuke Uchiha safe passage to Sound. I'd happily die for my masters cause, especially to a worthy opponent rather than in a bed waiting to die." Kimimaro stood fast at the face of what could be his final battle.

"What misplaced loyalty." Naruto sneered when the lid of the coffin was opened and Sasuke slowly stood into full view.

"Sasuke-sama, we are approaching the border. If you hurry you will make it, and I will hold off the blond." Kimimaro spoke.

"Blond?" Sasuke asked and looked to the tall Donquixote, getting angered and deciding to test his new power on him. The Uchiha ran at the blond with his fist raised and went for a punch meant to break the shades on the blond's face.

"Have you forgotten the pecking order?" Naruto grinned and let his Haki do the work for him, watching the teen fall to his knees in front of him.

"What?!" Kimimaro shouted, lucky to have a will strong enough to keep him on his feet.

"I'm supposed to be stronger!" Sasuke raged.

"It'll take a lot more than a hickey to do that." Naruto smiled wide, picking the downed avenger up by his head. "Too bad you won't live long enough to benefit from that advice!" Naruto went for Sasuke's throat fully intending on ending this nuisance here and now, but was once again denied as a gray tail with sharp spines hit his stomach and forced him to skid along the ground while dropping his target.

"Now isn't the time Sasuke-sama! You're full powers haven't manifested yet, you need time for them to acclimate to your body. Then your Curse Mark will reach its true potential." Kimimaro educated the fleeing teen.

The last Kaguya had activated his level 2 Curse Mark causing him to gain a more dinosaur-like appearance complete with a tail reminiscent of a Stegosaurus and large bone spike coming from his back all topped of with gray skin.

His dark eyes watched the still standing Donquixote look past him and watch as Sasuke fled further toward the Sound village with anger evident on his face...before he started to laugh.

"Ah, looks like that brat is going to get what he wants. I'll let him get that power, and crush him! He won't stand a chance, and you my friend are in the same boat." Naruto smiled, then rushed forward with a foot raised for a kick. "Asurīto (Leg Shave String)" Naruto grinned, kicking the dinosaur-like ninja in the chest and cutting him in the process.

The Kaguya was sent flying from the blow, but his injuries were already closing up thanks to his Curse Mark. Kimimaro halted himself by using his extra appendage to grip the ground, before he pulled his spine out and used it as a whip against the surprised blond.

The whip caught the blond's foot and was immediately yanked toward the Kaguya, readying another spear of bone to pierce the blond in his chest. Once in range the blond lashed out with a punch to the temple, and used Haki to keep the blade from piercing too far into his chest and away from his heart. The shockwave from their resulting attack made a blast of wind ripple across the field they were in, but the whip kept the blond from shooting off and the Kaguya new strength held him against the punch.

'Smart bastard, keeping me close so I can't use my strings.' Naruto thought to himself, deciding to float rather than try to keep his balance with one foot.

'The Curse Mark! I can't keep this up for long.' Kimimaro heaved while hiding the fact that he was coughing up blood, more from the illness then the battle he was fighting.

Both combatants thoughts were halted when the blond decided to quickly shoot a whip out of his palm that sheared the skin off of the Kaguya's stomach and forced him to drop his spine. The blond wasted no time in reaching the ground and rushed forward after discreetly thrusting his hand skyward, and encased his leg in black once again fully intending on breaking the bones that his opponent needed. The dinosuar-like teen dodged the kick and gripped his stomach in pain from the sudden movement, his healing factor straining due to his weakening body.

"Furuburaito (Dropping Ruffian String)!" Naruto shouted as his trap was set off, causing strings to fall from the sky and run though the downed Kaguya. The attack forced the teen to the ground in pain, coughing more of the crimson liquid onto the grass while watching helplessly as the blond approached him and crouched down to speak. "Your talent is wasted on that snake, I honestly can't say I enjoy fighting you. You're the type of person that my family tries to save from a fate like this...lying on the ground. Without purpose. Without a home. No family." Naruto frowned, speaking from the heart.

"Orochimaru-sama saved me. I could never betray him, for without him I couldn't serve a higher purpose. As strong as you are, you'll never measure up to him. He is a god, thrust unto this undeserving world and he will gain his birthright..." Kimimaro coughed, "immortality and all jutsu."

"Hn, denial. Your master is a pathetic worm that has fled from me before. He'll never gain immortality, and he will die a painful death because he will oppose my family and our goals." Naruto countered, looking at the Kaguya's enraged face.

"Do not speak ill of my master!" Kimimaro shouted, leaping upward with a large drill made of bone forming around his arm.

Naruto simply jumped backward and stood still without raising his guard, opting to watch the teen attempt to end him in his final moments. Kimimaro started out strong in his stride fully ready and willing to kill the blond that dared to badmouth his savior. Soon his desperate rush transformed into a run, then a walk...a crawl, and finally he dropped onto the field a few feet in front of the blond.

"I apo-o-logize Orochimaru-sama. Your kindness was wasted." he wheezed.

"No, your talent was wasted. Your master wasn't worthy of your loyalty and despite what you believe, you were above him. You have something I normally reserve for family...respect. You never realized how great you were...people like us, we are above humans. We have had the world against us for as long as we could remember, it had us at its mercy countless times! Staring death in the face at a young age, scrounging for scraps in the garbage, the elements both from the ninja and the earth! We lived, is that not what a god is?" Naruto spoke to the dying teen.

"We are similar my foe, perhaps if we had met sooner I could have helped you, but we both know the world isn't so kind." Kimimaro smirked and let out his last breath.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake which surprised the blond since his latest opponent had already passed on. He jumped away in time as a large bone spike shot out of the field, followed by many more that began to overrun the field that the blond was left in. Naruto couldn't keep up with the large amount of bones and was soon engulfed in the field, and all became quiet in the field. Until a slice was heard, and the blond emerged from the forest of bone, coincidentally next to the deceased Kaguya with a spike embedded in his side.

"Once again, I have to praise you. We aren't the type to go down without one last trick are we...brother?" Naruto smirked despite the pain he felt pulling the spike from his side, and using his power to stitch up the wound as best he could but the stings were soon stained red. 'Now, I'm gonna have to let you down.' he thought, knowing that the last efforts of this man were for naught.

Naruto approached the direction that Sasuke fled in and found himself in the Valley of the End. Honestly, the blond couldn't care less for the scenery because his target was standing on top of the waterfall, looking down on the blond. The Donquixote grit his teeth, and flew up to meet the Uchiha at the top and stared him down.

"This isn't going to end how you think, Sasuke. Why not come quietly? I am in no mood to crush you now." Naruto sneered.

"You realize that you can never measure up to my greatness?" Sasuke laughed.

"No, I just watched someone that was an actual worthy opponent die in front of me, and I am actually sad about it. He deserved more than this world gave him, he deserved to be in my family." Naruto ground out in seething anger.

"He lost to you? Orochimaru should have sent better protection, now I have to take care of you myself." Sasuke smirked, allowing his Curse Mark to spread over his body.

"You dismiss him. He'll always be better than you, and any lowly human that this world will produce next!" Naruto growled, watching the Uchiha take charge of the fight. The blond decided to go for his own punch, but was slightly surprised that the avenger dodged his punch effortlessly and responded with a backhanded punch that the blond blocked after bringing his arm back.

Unfortunately, Sasuke took the block in stride and lashed out with a kick into Naruto's injured side. The Donquixote gripped his side in pain and slightly bent over to ease it, but he had little time to dwell on it as he was slugged across the cheek. Sasuke smiled in victory, watching blood leave the mouth of his nemesis with a sick joy that he felt owed to him since he gained the true power of the Curse Mark.

"This is how it should be Dobe! A commoner, like you, bowing before his better!" Sasuke laughed, letting the mark cover more of his body. His laughing was cut short by the blond's own.

"I don't bow. It's only natural that you'd get a few of your puny punches in, after all you were sitting in your little coffin for the better part of the day. I've been maneuvering, chasing, avoiding, and I just came from one of the toughest fights I've ever had." Naruto smiled.

"Excuses!" Sasuke denied, but he was shut up when Naruto grabbed his face.

"I'm not saying I'm physically tired. I'm saying that I'm tired of having to expend all this effort on a piece of shit like you! I've wasted my day tracking you down, and there's no way I'd ever lose to you even if I was limbless!" Naruto shouted while throwing Sasuke at the statue of Madara Uchiha. "Those eyes of yours seem to have gotten an upgrade. I've my own precognition, care to see whose is better!" Naruto smiled, seeing the Uchiha enter his second state complete with hand-like wings.

"You may be special because of your stupid, freak powers but in the end I will always be more special than you. I am worthy to be trained by a sannin, and gained this power from him." Sasuke smirked with his Sharingan blazing.

"You're definition of 'special' is definitely different from mine." Naruto smirked back, and watched the Uchiha fly at him with great speed to the average observer. "You'll be going for a kick to my right side, once again going for the same weak point." Naruto sighed, catching the kick that Sasuke had aimed at his injury and went to punch him.

Sasuke bent himself backward to avoid the blow while bringing his free leg upward for the heel to connect with the blond's chin. Naruto in turn released the leg he held, avoided the kick, and launched his knee into the Uchiha's spine with tremendous force. Sasuke winced at the blow, but righted himself in midair and brought a roundhouse toward the blond's head, which was blocked. Naruto then caught a fist that was aiming to break his sunglasses, and found that they were at a stalemate as they kept each others limbs locked down.

"Impressive, you're able to keep up much better than I thought you would. Those mutated eyes of yours are really something." Naruto smirked in amusement.

"This is only its natural progression, the mark only sped up my potential." Sasuke retorted.

"Really? Then how about this!" Naruto suddenly pushed his blocking arm away from his face and let go of Sasuke's arm, forcing the Uchiha to land on his feet and immediately duck underneath a punch from the blond.

Sasuke had little time to relax as he saw the blond's other hand in a claw coming upward toward his face. The traitor became a little worried at the attack since it would be the first appearance of the blond's powers during the fight, and his eyes couldn't discern the strings path. Deciding to play it safe, even if he could block it, Sasuke dodged out of the way of the strike and was met with laughter.

"I thought so. It seems to me that those eyes of yours can't tell whether my strings are a part of my attack or not, some all-seeing eye." Naruto smiled seeing the rage appear on Sasuke's face.

"It doesn't matter, I'll still beat you!" Sasuke screamed while flying at him.

"My ability is much better, its called Kenbunshoku Haki (Haki of the Color of Observation), it allows me to sense the presences of others even if I can't see them, and see future events...properly. Like the fact that you are feinting your charge, and going to fly past me for a punch." Naruto explained in the process of avoiding said attack. "Much better than reading your enemy with eyes that allow you to scrutinize simple movements to predict actions your opponent will take." Naruto demonstrated his mastery of his mysterious ability by using the barest movements to dodge Sasuke's attacks, and watched him grow exhausted due to his body being unused to the power he was controlling and fatigue.

"Why? Why is this happening?!" Sasuke lamented, being forced out of his level 2 transformation while coughing up blood.

"And you thought you could stand up to me? You can't even control your power...yet you've the nerve to insult someone with more years of experience with these powers than you." Naruto snarled, lifting the Uchiha by the neck and slamming him into the rock wall. "You wish you could stand on the same pedestal as us. Tamaito (Bullet String)!" Naruto fired a string through Sasuke's shoulder, watching the teen grit his teeth as not to scream in pain in front of the blond.

"Hn, hmhmhm" Sasuke chuckled.

"Hm, well this is interesting. Tell me, why are you laughing?" Naruto asked, believing that Sasuke didn't realize his position.

"It's because you are fighting for Konoha. Hoping that bringing me back will put you in their good graces, that they'll treat you as you think garbage like you should be. When the reality is that you will always be under our heel. I'll be returned to the village with nary a slap on the wrist, while you will be crucified for damaging the last loyal Uchiha. If anything, I still win, for I shall be given even more from that village to ensure that I won't leave again." Sasuke smirked in triumph as he watched the blond's eyebrows raise in what he perceived as shock. That is, until laughter erupted from the Donquixote and echoed throughout the Valley.

Naruto then looked Sasuke in the eyes and simply said, "You're right."

"What?!" Sasuke shouted.

"That village will always view me as a monster, no matter what I do for them, of that I am certain. It was never about them, though; their recognition, love, or even the hokage seat." Naruto smiled. "It was always about what I wanted, Sasuke. What made me happy, entertained, powerful. Konoha's thoughts are their own, and they have nothing to do with me. As long as my goals are realized then I will be satisfied." Naruto explained.

"Goals? I doubt anything your peabrain could cook up would account for my defection from Konoha, and their retaliation against you for my injuries." Sasuke sneered.

"No they didn't, or to be more precise, they didn't account for you at all." Naruto sighed.

"How dare you! I am your greatest obstacle, as an Uchiha my potential is infinite!" Sasuke raged.

"Please, you won't even be considered a speck of dirt on my shoe once my plans are put into place. You see, Sasuke, I never intended to bring you back to the village once I captured you." Naruto saw the teen's shocked face at this revelation. "I just didn't like the fact you forced my hand a tad early with your sudden disappearance. Whether you left or not wasn't worth my notice. If you stayed in the village, if you left the village, it didn't matter because my plans don't account for pissants!" Naruto shouted as he tossed Sasuke into the harsh ground.

"No, don't lie to me! I'm the greatest!" Saskue denied.

"I couldn't care less about your goals, after this moment our last bond is severed. The bond of Konoha ninja, the only bond we had was of fellow ninja (if you could even call it that)." Naruto smiled, while whispering the last part to himself.

"You'd fail this mission." Sasuke was dumbstruck.

"Like I said, you staying or going is none of my concern. I just wanted to beat you to a pulp for actually managing to be a step ahead. You can get up and go or you can come back. Your choice still leaves you as my enemy, Sasuke, but in the end its because I'm allowing you to make it. Not because you're better than me, not because of your status, but because you simply aren't worth extra time and to dig the knife in deeper since I am the one allowing you to go. Though I would like to see you at least become something worthwhile...it would be entertaining. Farewell, Sasuke Uchiha." Naruto finished, flying away and disappearing into the forest.

'I'm not worth his time! No, it can't be I am an Uchiha he couldn't ever be better than me!' Sasuke smashed his fist into the ground, ignoring the pain as it paled in comparison to his wounded pride. 'How dare he let me go! I'll show him that I will always be superior, when I destroy that circus of freaks and ruin his plans personally!' Sasuke smiled cruelly at his idea, seeing Kabuto come into the valley to escort him the rest of the way.

He would grow to the point that the blond would have to accept that he would always be above him. He would destroy everything that the Donquixote hoped to achieve in the future, and when it was all said and done Sasuke would have Naruto kneel in front of him before he killed him with a look of anguish being frozen on the blond's face.

(Within the forest)

Once the blond was out of the Uchiha's view he landed on the ground in the to take a well deserved break after the his hectic day. As he sat on the ground, he looked up toe the sky and sighed in exhaustion while sensing his family coming toward his location.

"Oi! Naruto, what the hell happened to you?!" Diamante shouted out upon seeing the blond.

"Behehe, don't tell me you got beaten by that Uchiha brat, ne?" Trebol questioned, getting into the blond's personal space once again.

"Don't insult the Young Master, Trebol!" Pica growled, deciding to pull the snotty man away from their injured leader so Shikamaru could take a look at him.

"Geez, I can tell Sasuke didn't do this to you. So who was it, the bone guy?" Shika asked.

"Kimimaro, that's his name." Naruto spoke reverently about his deceased opponent.

"First name basis, huh? Must have been something special." Shikamaru offhandedly replied, finishing with the gauze to keep pressure on the blond's wound.

"Hm, he's someone that I wish could've joined our family, but that snake found him first. Meeting guys like him really put things into perspective..." Naruto softly spoke as he got up from his sitting position.

Shikamaru looked puzzled and decided to clarify with a question, "How so?"

"It's people like him that show who should be the ones at the apex instead of privileged snobs. Those that have seen the depths of humanity, and have come out from it stronger, they are the ones I hope to help by building a new world where they can thrive." Naruto smiled softly rather than his regular grin as he spoke.

"Truer words have never been spoken, Naruto, besides it'll be nice to see justice be served to those idiots in the villages." Shika smirked.

"You're years to early to be talking like that, newbie. This won't be a walk in the park, the whole of the shinobi world will be gunning for us. We can't be any run of the mill anarchists, like those Akatsuki idiots." Diamante chastised.

"Let them come, we'll pave right over them if they decide to get in our way. The sooner the better." Pica reasoned.

"I don't know about that, ne. Just two of them were able to back our leader into a corner. If Monet hadn't been there I hesitate to imagine what could've happened." Trebol reminded.

"Trebol is right, we can't underestimate those guys. They've been up to this for much longer, which means that we can't slouch." Naruto reasoned, before he grinned. "The next level is coming!" Naruto dramatically announced, ignoring the sigh from Shikamaru at his melodrama. "It's time to return and prepare, we'll be leaving by tomorrow. I'd like to rest a bit before traveling." Naruto said, beginning to trek back to the village with his family.

(Upon return)

"Young Master! We're all prepared for our honeymoon!" Baby 76 squealed.

"Honeymoon?" Naruto questioned with a raised brow while the woman hugged him, that is until she noticed his bandaged side.

"Agh! What happened? I should've been there with you, I knew they wouldn't be able to protect you like I could." 76 cried as she bent the taller teen down to her bust, and glaring at the suits. "Oi, you should've been protecting the Master with your lives!" 76 ranted.

"You shouldn't let your emotions get the better of you, 76, we needed you here to help us prepare." Vergo sighed.

"But-" she tried to protest.

"He's right. Besides I don't mind the wounds, they were well earned by my opponent. He could have joined us if we had gotten to him fast enough. I digress, is everything ready?" Naruto asked.

"Everything, Young Master. Julius is finishing up by destroying his projects that are too large to bring with us." Gladius spoke up, as the family entered the estate to see suitcases piled up in the foyer.

"Good work, and right on time." Naruto praised.

"Don't go and give him a swelled head." Diamante huffed, flattening the luggage with his powers.

"Ever since you left, we've been monitored fairly closely but they haven't made any hostile movement that I've seen." Monet spoke up as she sipped a cup of coffee with her wings.

"Behehe, anxious aren't they?" Trebol laughed.

"Within reason, no doubt they believed that with you gone we'd be vulnerable. They were merely looking for an excuse to move upon us." Vergo explained, while he took a sip of his tea...and somehow getting the teabag stuck to his cheek.

"Hm, at any rate we'll be leaving soon so we'll need to go and collect those brats and-" Naruto started, but turned toward the window as an odd glare of light reflected off of his lenses and saw multiple large fireballs hurtling toward the mansion.

Once the attacks had hit the residence the foyer was soon engulfed in flames with the rest of the home following. A large conflagration could be seen at the Namikaze estate from anywhere else in the village as the blaze ate the home in its entirety. No signs of life were seen for several minutes, the fire still going strongly with the winds fanning the flames, leaving little hope that the people living inside survived.

"It is done, hokage-sama. The Namikaze estate has been completely destroyed, and there is no sign of life to be seen." a leaf-nin reported to his leader.

'Don't get cocky. I hate to admit this, but that brats has survived far worse than this so don't assume anything until you see a burnt corpse.'Tsunade ordered.

"I assure you, Tsunade-sama, there is no way that anyone could-"

"Wah! Oi, you bastards, you better be glad that I already rid myself of the more volatile mixtures in my lab!" Julius crowed, floating above the blaze.

The irate scientist was soon joined in midair by Monet and Naruto, and they too held their own looks of displeasure due to the attack on their person. Monet was mending her snowy wings with her powers since the heat had caused her to melt to an extent, and caused slight pain to her. Naruto was visibly frowning, while holding a few of the feathers that had been burned off of his coat and watched them fizzle into ashes.

"Diamante!" Naruto shouted loudly to the point that the entire squad of enemies could hear him clearly.

"Aye!" Diamante flourished his cape, dispersing the flames in the former foyer as he did so, making a ring that showed the Donquixote family alive and well despite being surrounded by fire.

"Th-they survived?!" one of the ninja exclaimed in shock.

"Don't panic. We've prepared for this, and we will succeed. Men, ready yourselves!" the commanding ninja, which just so happened to be Kakashi.

"Hm, wonder what their planning?" Monet questioned, while in the background Julius had just finished handing something to the blond.

"Fire!" Kakashi ordered.

Upon hearing the command the ninja all threw heaps of kunai, and subsequently used the Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu) to increase the number to the point that the setting sun was almost obscured.

"Wow, scary." Julius deadpanned.

Both the Gas-man and Snow-woman used their logia abilities to avoid the attacks, and Naruto used his strings to deflect them. It was going well until one lone kunai in the hail had flown straight and true into the woman's wing, causing her to exclaim in pain and feel sudden weakness overcome her.

"K-kairoseki?!" Monet moaned out, falling out of the sky without the strength to continue flight.

"Oi, Monet?!" Naruto yelled out as he intercepted her fall, and landing by his family.

Once he touched down onto the ground, Diamante was once again using his cape as a shield while the other members slowly gathered around to protect them. Naruto casually reached up to the kunai in the harpy's wing, and hesitatingly put his index finger on it to confirm his fear. The effect was immediate, his strength left him and he started to slump forward almost as if he were dozing off, until Vergo removed his hand from the weapon.

"It seems that the Leaf has been as busy as us." Vergo stated, taking the knife out of the woman's wing.

Shikamaru was soon checking the woman over afterward, and by his face it wasn't good. "Sorry, but it hit the bone and I don't have the time to check just how badly damaged it might be at the moment, so you're grounded." Shika sighed.

"Damn that woman!" Naruto growled.

"Ne, what's the plan then?" Trebol questioned since he was mostly protected by his thick, sticky coat halting the kunai rain.

"We'll make way through this entire village for you, Naruto-sama." Yakumo said.

"No. Diamante, Trebol, Pica..." Naruto slowly started, getting their utmost attention. "I want you three to go into the village and get the others, we're leaving now! The rest of you are to head to the village gate and wait for me there." Naruto sneered.

"What about you, Young Master?" Baby 76 wondered, with a gatling gun for a leg which was being fired at their enemies.

"I'm going to tender my resignation." Naruto smiled and flew away toward the hokage's tower.

"You heard him, get moving!" Diamante ordered.

Gladius acted at once and caused the ground to expand, causing an explosion that covered the Suits movements. The instant that it went off the three made way into the heart of the village to retrieve their charges and rendezvous with the family. The large group of fighters, on the other hand, were tearing through the small militia in front of them with precision to avoid another kairoseki mishap. All this, while their leader flew high above the village with a single destination in mind.

(In front of the hokage tower)

The bloodied blond harshly landed in front of the tower, and walked in as if it was an everyday occurrence. Upon walking inside the ninja stationed were beyond shocked, knowing of the plan that was supposed to be in motion as they watched the target of said plan walk with purpose through the hall. After that initial thought the ninja were cut down before they could try anything, Naruto never breaking stride as they fell.

"I have business with your leader." Naruto spoke.

"Guh, co-code red! Uzumaki is in the tower, he's going after Tsunade-sama! St-stop him." the ninja rasped using his last breath, setting the tower and all outside of it on alert.

Naruto was forced to trek up the stairs, as the elevators were shut down during a code red, and came face-to-face with dozens of Anbu on the second floor. He assumed that they had kairoseki in some way, if the woman upstairs wanted them to have the slimmest chance of living, that is.

"Any chance you could let me pass? I've had a long day." Naruto asked, before the ninja were upon him. "You always want to do thing the hard way." he sighed.

(With Trebol)

The large mucus man leapt from building to building, while hearing alarms coming from the hokage tower. He assumed his leader had arrived, which meant thing would be getting hot in the village proper since any ninja would answer the call to action the alarm bespoke. Not that it mattered to him, of course, he was already coming up on his target's home, or compound to be correct. The large man shot like a meteor from the sky and broke through the ceiling to the compound, getting up to see a gaggle of pale eyes staring back at him.

"Behehe, sorry to barge in like this, but I just need to pick someone up. I'll be out of your hair soon enough." Trebol laughed.

That's right. The club seat member had landed in the Hyuuga compound, and was surrounded by Main Branch and their slaves as well.

"How dare you! You appear to be one of the causes for this state of unrest in the village, I thought that the hokage was dealing with you!" a main branch member shouted.

"Behehe, no way that any plan that woman put together would succeed, ne? Isn't that what you were thinking~? I didn't see any Hyuuga in the force that attacked us." Trebol mocked and teased, all while uncomfortably in the member's face.

"Lock down the compound! Do not let him escape!" the man yelled. He was then launched through a wall by the sticky man.

"Behe, like I said I need to pick someone up." Trebol smirked at the stances his opponent's took. "Beto Ranchā (Beto Launcher)!" Trebol shouted his attack.

His coat formed medium-sized sticky bubbles that popped off at high speeds, that he then lit aflame and exploded on contact with the Hyuuga and their home.

"Get Hiashi-sama! We need him!" someone yelled, getting blasted away from an explosion.

"Hiashi, huh? I'll bet he knows where my target is, ne." Trebol honed in on a fleeing Hyuuga and jumped at him, pinning him to the ground with his mucus. "Where is your leader?" he asked.

"In the council chambers." the clansmen relented right before Trebol dropped a glob of mucus onto his face, causing slow asphyxiation.

In side the council chambers Hiashi Hyuuga was sitting with his two daughters, and Neji acting as their guard. They were all put on alert when the large man busted into the chamber, stalking slowly toward the group.

"It's about time! I've been looking everywhere for you, ne. Now if you'll excuse me, Hyuuga." Trebol spoke to the clan head.

"That demon sent you, eh? Of course he'd want to rid himself of us. Neji!" Hiashi ordered as the two attacked in tandem.

"Hang on a sec, there's no need for all that. We can-gah!" Trebol screamed when the two attacked his tenketsu points. "Whaa~, you got me. Hit me~right in my tenketsuuu~." Trebol drawled dramatically.

The large man drooped to the ground in a heap as the Hyuuga walked away from his body. Trebol pathetically lifted his hand up, moaning in pain and secretly mending the holes that had appeared in his jacket.

"Just kidding!" Trebol laughed, trapping the two Hyuuga men. "Behehe, you idiots are too easy! I'm laughing so hard, I can't stop snotting!" he mocked.

"Hinata, Hanabi stop him! Prove yourselves!" Hiashi commanded, struggling to free himself.

"You won't believe the amount of time I had to waste to get here to retrieve you, ya know." Trebol smiled at the girls.

"M-me?" Hinata asked in hope.

"Naruto couldn't come in person, but we're gonna have to get to the village gate." Trebol continued.

"I-I'll prepare right away!" Hinata squealed.

"Trebol, you shouldn't get the girl's hopes up like that, too cruel." Hanabi sighed behind her sister. Currently, she was lifting one of the tatami mats up from the floor to pick up a suitcase.

"Behehe, why spoil my fun, Hanabi?" Trebol asked in mock disappointment.

"I suppose, even after everything, I still have a soft spot for my former sister. It is a tragedy that she has an unrequited love for the Young Master, and I would like to see her at least move on." Hanabi answered.

"Pity? Behehe, I'd rather be mocked." Trebol chuckled.

"I believe it to be more complicated than that." Hanabi defended.

"H-Hanabi?" Hinata squeaked at this development.

"Traitor!" Hisashi, still stuck in the sticky mucus, shouted at his youngest.

"Maybe, in a way, Hisashi Hyuuga. I truly took my duties when I was a Hyuuga very seriously but once the Young Master found me, I realized how blind I really was. This village's people, rotten to the core, all with their own hidden agendas and feelings. That is, except for their feelings for the Young Master and their precious village. It was sickening, their sense of entitlement and the hatred was plain as day, and the fact that I was advocating this was even worse. Now I know that I am on the side of right, and I see all threats far beyond your Byakugan. For instance, the kunai that you're edging toward in order to stab Trebol here." Hanabi smirked condescendingly.

Hiashi became shocked that the girl knew what he was up to, despite his subtle movements and even more surprising was the lack of the Byakugan in Hanabi's eyes . Trebol stalked above the man with his smile still in place, before he took his staff and slammed down on the clan head's shoulder to dislocate it.

"You aren't using the Byakugan, how?" Hisashi gritted through the pain, his arm limply hanging and his struggles ultimately ceasing along with Neji.

"A devil fruit of course, one that naturally improves on your pathetic eyes. The Giro-Giro no mi (Glare-Glare Fruit) allows me to see in a full 360 degree field of vision...without blindspots and the ability to see everything that goes on in the village. Oddly enough I couldn't look in the hokage's office once Naruto left to retrieve the Uchiha, perhaps I should look into your mind to find out why." Hanabi smiled at the Hyuuga's expressions as her abilities far surpassed what most would call the strongest Kekkei Genkai in the village.

"No time. We need to retreat to the gate and meet with the others. Care to clear the party outside to save time?" Trebol asked.

The young girl took a position in front of the door that the large mucus-man stood at the side of in order to open it. Trebol quickly opened the sliding doors and a veritable army of Hyuuga members rushed forward. Hanabi then, strangely, started to cry and her tears became larger while they took shape. Soon her tears had easily engulfed the Hyuuga as they all struggled to breath from the tears that now appeared to be whales.

"Mekujira (Eye Whale)!" Hanabi called, using her fingers to 'snip' the tears from her eyes which allowed them to flow freely.

Hanabi's tears flowed out of the room taking all of the enemies with them, and any other hidden urchins that had come to the Hyuuga's aid. Once the water had finally drained, the two Donquixote family members made to leave the room. Their forward motion was halted however as a voice had called to them.

"Y-you stole him? You took Naruto away from me!" Hinata cried.

"I can't take what was never yours, Hinata. I don't exactly care what happens to you now, but I'd rather you grow out of this fantasy you'll never fulfill. It shames a kunoichi and the actual emotion of love." Hanabi coldly replied, without looking back she strode forward with Trebol.

"Do ya think you actually got through." Trebol asked seriously.

Hanabi sighed heavily before answering, "I would like to think that. Even with our ties cut, I feel that she should at least better herself for what is coming. Perhaps she'll be worth something, maybe even enough to be spared." Hanabi said hopefully.

"You're pity seems wasted. I'm not incapable of it, and there is nothing inherently wrong with it. The problem I have with pity is that most times it is wasted on undeserving people, like her." Trebol explained.

"Perhaps." she simply replied, "Now carry my suitcase, if you please." she said imperatively.

"It's hard to believe that you aren't the spoiled one, behehe."

(Diamante)

The tall Ripple-man was currently striding through the main street of the village without a care in the world, and mercilessly dispatching any ninja that was unfortunate enough to try and halt his mission. This was clear from the trail of bodies that were left behind him with most still clinging to the last vestiges of their lives, knowing that they failed to stop the threat in their village.

Diamante had then reached his destination, and took a side glance at the hokage's office due to its close proximity to his target's home. Despite the curiosity he had for the goings on inside of the building, as his leader was no doubt raising all kinds of hell, the Suit of Diamonds continued with his task. Waltzing into the Sarutobi clan home like he owned the place, Diamante was not surprised that the first face he saw in opposition was Sarutobi Asuma.

"Katon: Haisekishō (Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning)!" Asuma shouted, ash gathering around the intruder as he clicked his teeth igniting the flammable cloud.

The explosion pushed Diamante out the door, and had acted as the signal for the clan to go on the attack. Quickly surrounding the Donquixote, the members of the Sarutobi clan altogether went through a series of handsigns that led to a large fireball being launched at Diamante.

"Come at me with all you got! Let's see how well that old fool's son can lead you!" Diamante chortled in glee at the fight, completely unfazed by the impending fire. Raising his sword from the side of his body to above his head Diamante called out, "Hangetsu Gureibu (Half-Moon Glaive)!", bringing the sword down with such force the air had sliced a path through the fire along with any unfortunate enough to be in its path.

"Damn fools! I'll take care of this!" Asuma growled.

"Uncle Asuma, don't do it! Let me help, it's all that bastard Naruto's fault for killing gramps!" Konohamaru pleaded to assist his uncle.

Asuma looked down at the young genin, "No, stay out of this. You need to stay alive and get stronger for the village, the next generation has to be ready." Asuma reasoned.

"Really? Why not let the kid have a go, Sarutobi? If you really want the kid to get stronger, what better way than throwing him at the wall to see if he sticks?" Diamante offered.

"He isn't ready. My father believed in Konohamaru following in his footsteps, and I believe him. He'll get strong enough to take on the demon and put his corpse in front of you. The Will of Fire won't die as easily as you think!" Asuma said powerfully.

"That's some speech there, but I'm sad to say that I have to disappoint you...Asuma!" a voice said from behind the third hokage's son as the owner of the voice bit into the crook of Asuma's neck.

"What the hell!" Asuma wailed in pain, throwing the offender off of him and was left speechless.

The culprit behind the attack was none other than Konohamaru, who had divested himself of his iconic scarf. The absence of the scarf was not the only difference; as the blood dripped from the kid's mouth one could see sharp teeth that would belong to a shark or perhaps Kisame; he mussed his hair into a more disheveled style which revealed odd nubs on the sides of his head that had appeared to be filed down; and to top all of these physical changes off, a dorsal fin has sprouted from Konohamaru's back

"Konohamaru!" Asuma shouted at the child in anger at his betrayal of his clan, "You're siding with that demon?! What about your grandfather?! Your father?! They wanted you to protect the village, and become hokage!" Asuma raged, holding his injured neck.

"I never wanted any of those things! Who are they to decide my life? Because of them I wasn't even seen as a person, always trapped behind their shadows. The Honorable Grandson, Konohamaru Sarutobi, can do no wrong since he comes from such a lineage." Konohamaru growled in absolute rage, gritting his sharp teeth together with audible gnashing. "I WAS SO SICK OF IT!" he finally shouted.

Asuma frowned at the revelation that his 'nephew' had hidden the resentful feelings toward his own father and grandfather. Anyone would kill to be a part of the Sarutobi clan, related to the man that was considered the Kami of ninja and his son that had his own impressive record under his belt. Yet this brat stood here and berated him for wanting him to share and bask in what his blood afforded him.

"You know nothing. You have a right as a Sarutobi to protect this village to your last breath, your personal feeling have no stake in this! It is your duty!" Asuma shouted.

Konohamaru scoffed at the man and gestured to his new appearance, "Do I seem like a Sarutobi to you? I'm nothing like you, the Boss saw to that. He gave me the one thing I've ever wanted...separation from your bloodline. A highly experimental procedure that slowly drained my blood of your essence and made me into what I am." Kono grinned.

"Can't you see he is using you!" Asuma tried to reason.

"The Boss had plenty of chance to dump me. The experiment took place over several weeks, each follow up procedure even more painful and trying than the last. I wasn't the first to try it, but I was the only one to live!" Konohamaru revealed. "Countless promising children before me and they died after the first step, I not only took it but adapted to my new blood. I'm half-human and half-fighting fish, in short a human/fish-man hybrid! Much faster and stronger than a regular human and the added ability of breathing underwater. You could say I'm what Kisame wished he could be!" Konohamaru laughed.

"Enough with the monologues, brat. We gotta head to the village gate and wait for Naruto to meet up with us." Diamante finally spoke up from the background.

Konohamaru turned to his taller companion and started to whine, "Ohhh, but Diamanteeeeee! I've been waiting to say all this stuff since the process was completed, I even wrote it down and rehearsed."

"I don't have the time or patience to indulge you and your power fantasies, brat. Getting out of here is the priority, the chance to get rid of these idiots will come later." Diamante scolded. The kid was always ready to kill someone, guess he can attribute that bloodlust to the Fighting Fish blood,

"Aw, c'mon! I bet the Boss would let me. He's way cooler than you'll ever be!" the half-fish whined, following behind the suit and leaving his old clan behind.

'Damn you, Naruto! Is there anyone you won't twist or corrupt to meet your goals?' Asuma thought, watching his former nephew walk away from him. 'I can save you...or I can release you, Kono. I hope for the former.' Asuma resolved himself, barely paying attention to his clansmen treating his wound.

(Pica)

The large muscular stone-man was easily avoiding the ninja that approached him by slipping in and out of the stone present around him. Compared to the other two soldiers of his station he was moving much more quickly and destroying his opposition much more cleanly, either impaling them with spikes or opening large sinkholes in the ground to swallow the fools. Pica was a man on a mission and while he enjoyed a fight he had a no-nonsense attitude when given an order, though he would much rather squash the village altogether.

He then zeroed in on his specific target which just so happened to be the ninja academy, where all genin that did not belong to a clan would seek refuge in time of crisis and given what his family was doing to this village this situation was definitely defined as such. Out of all the members that needed to be retrieved before their departure, Pica's charge would certainly be the easiest. The teachers of the academy were most certainly not equipped to deal with him and it showed how the village viewed those that had no status. It was quite upsetting that they wouldn't protect the next generation in lieu of the children of their clans, though how often do enemy attacks focus on children after all since they are normally underestimated. That underestimation is what allowed the family to scoop up the diamonds in the rough that they had, Konohamaru, Hanabi, and of course Pica's target.

(Inside the academy)

All the children were in a panic once the explosion at the Namikaze compound went off, and the attack that their instructors had warned them about was enacted against the Third's killer. The teachers assisted in bolstering the confidence that the kids were having trouble finding in the success of the attack, but they slowly came around to the idea as time went on and they weren't touched. That is until a large stone golem burst through a wall and looked down on the children with an intense glare.

"What the hell is that! Some kind of summon?" Iruka shouted in fear. All the children quickly moved to the opposite wall behind their teachers...all except one.

"Oi! Stop playing around and get moving, we have to leave now." Pica spoke, gritting his teeth at the laughter he heard from the children and teachers at his voice.

"Don't make me tell on you, Pica. Naruto has told you how important I am, so you better keep me happy!" a girl's voice retorted haughtily.

"Even so, your bratty attitude doesn't help matters. He spoils you too much, I personally think you need a good spanking!" Pica growled.

The girl puffed out her cheeks and picked up a doll threateningly, "Maybe I should just make everyone forget you then, huh? I wouldn't mind having another toy added to my collection. I'm getting bored of...what was his name again? U-din? No, Udon that's what he told me!" the girl pondered bringing the doll to her ear as if it told her the name.

"Udon? Who are you talking about, Moegi!" Iruka yelled to his student.

Moegi just looked to her teacher, walking toward the toy chests that the younger students used for indoor recesses and ruffling through them, "In all honesty I have no idea who he is either. When I use my powers on people they are forgotten." she explained as she pulled out various specific toys and putting them on the floor.

"Powers? You mean to tell me that you are with Naruto!" Iruka raged.

Moegi finished going through all the toy chests and found what she appeared to be looking for, a golden crown that she placed upon her head. "We can go now. There was no way that I was leaving the gift that Naruto gave me." Moegi smiled at her gift as she stepped on Pica's stone hand.

"You won't be escaping that easily, traitor!" Iruka and the other instructors leapt into action.

"Hmph, stand and attack." Moegi commanded.

Just then the teachers were pushed back by the toys that the young girl had taken out of the toy chests. Ominously, the small soldiers stood to protect their mistress and surprised everyone present with their speed and strength. The toys easily took on the adults as the two Donquixote members took their leave.

"Oi, slow down, Pica! This wind is knocking me off your hand and ruining my hair. I'm hungry, too! Get me some food before we leave...blah blah blah." Moegi complained, not realizing the stone golem wasn't listening

'I wonder how the others are doing. They should have retrieved the other two by now, but when it comes to our leader that is less certain.' Pica thought to himself, looking to the hokage's tower.

(Naruto)

The blond had finally reached the top floor of the tower, leaving a large trail of blood along the way. The halls were littered with the life essence of any ninja that was fool enough to stand in between him and his puppet. The pink mantled blond slowly strode to the door of the hokage's office, straightened his hair and wiped some blood from the corner of his mouth, and opened the door.

Inside the office was untouched by the chaos outside, and the woman he had come to see looked much the same. Senju Tsunade sat at her desk with her fingers interlaced in front of her mouth, watching the blond waltz in and take a seat in front of her desk with a smile on his face.

"Whew, quite the reception. Here I was thinking that I would give a mission report to-" Naruto was cut off.

"Cut the bullshit, monster." Tsunade growled.

Naruto frowned and leaned back in his chair, "Y'know, I saw this coming, believe it or not. I just didn't expect it so soon, fufufu, you really got me. Vergo and Pica will have a field day with this one, I can already here the 'I told you so' coming." Naruto smiled after scratching the back of his head, staring up at the ceiling.

"You had this coming after everything you did." Tsunade answered simply.

"How long, hmm? How long did it take you to order your ninja to go to Mist and find the kairoseki? A day after? A week? Huh, I should have kept a closer eye on you and your devices. It's the curse of a puppeteer, after all...whenever you give your puppets a little slack, they go on think themselves real. Is that what you think, Tsunade? That you're a real girl?" Naruto sneered, leaning forward. "You aren't anything but my plaything, like all the rest of this village. It just seems to me that you've forgotten that fact, but in the coming years you'll learn...if I let you live past today! Goshikīto (Five Color Strings)!" Naruto smiled...but was shocked when his string never connected.

The blond stared at his fingers in confusion for a split second when he was socked in the cheek by Tsunade. The blond flipped onto his feet and tried to use his powers again, but found he couldn't.

"What the hell?!" Naruto growled, blocking a punch that pushed him out into the hall.

"I'm guessing that back in the day they weren't very creative. As soon as we got those rocks we studied them thoroughly, and with my expertise I was able to grind it into a powder that we synthesized into a gas. You won't feel the weakness, but you'll lose those powers of yours." Tsunade smirked, bringing her fist down to the boy again. This time, though, the punch was blocked with a black arm.

"Hmph, that isn't the only trick I have up my sleeve." Naruto smiled, and threw the woman back into her office.

Tsunade crashed into her desk, breaking it in two, and quickly got back to her feet as the blond followed after her. Naruto launched a kick at the woman that was blocked, and followed up by his other leg catching her in the gut. Tsunade doubled over from the impact and met the floor when Naruto brought his heel down on the back of her head.

The woman didn't stay down for long, she sprung back up and released an uppercut which made the Donquixote backpedal before she tossed him into the wall that held the pictures of the past hokages. She followed up by putting her foot on his chest and using chakra to increase her strength and hold him down, watching as the pictures fell to the floor due to the impact.

Naruto looked to the side, panting as he lifted the picture of the First Hokage and held it next to his face. "You think he's proud? His little Senju pwincess, killing the jinchuriki that he created to advocate peaceful coexistence? I talked to the guy, I got a read on him, he was a proud man that I wouldn't have minded fighting with. Now his legacy is spitting on him!" Naruto rasped with a grin.

Tsunade grit her teeth, lifted the blond up by the neck and spoke, "My grandfather has nothing to do with who I am. He was a fool to think these villages could coexist, and I'll have to wipe that legacy away. Konoha will have to take charge against Orochimaru, the Akatsuki, and you!" she then tossed him through her window.

The blond fell and instinctively reached for his powers to save him from the fall, and this time they responded to his call. The strings attached to the surrounding buildings and cushioned his fall.

'Hn, seems that her gas only lasts for five minutes.' Naruto thought, filing away the information. He used his strings to bring himself back up to the broken window to see the woman one last time. "Well, we both have something to agree on. I should have killed you when I had the chance, and you should have killed me. Now where does this leave us? You're losing a powerful ally, and I'm gaining freedom. Was it all worth it?" Naruto asked.

"As long as you stop plaguing this village with your presence, I'm happy." Tsunade growled.

"I see, you have a target on your back, same as me. But who do you think they'll go after first? The lone jinchuriki and his family or the 'most' powerful village in all the Elemental Nations?" Naruto questioned, watching the woman grow pale.

"W-we'll fight the same as we always have!" she said lacking conviction.

"There will come a time where you'll need my help, maybe not today or even a year, but it will come. When that happens, I'll pick up my puppet again." Naruto ominously foretold, flying towards the village gate and leaving the woman to scowl.

(The village gates)

The gates of the village looked like a war zone littered with the bodies of dead or unconscious ninja and a few broken toys. The entire family, excluding the suits and the children, were a little scuffed up from the long struggle to their destination. They were all very glad to see their leader land in front of them, after cutting down the remaining ninja.

"We're leaving...now." Naruto ordered, pushing open the doors and for the most part ignoring the greetings he got from his family.

(A few days later)

The trek to their new home was a long one and it was unpleasant. The entire walk had an uncomfortable silence as their leader had frowned the entire time, the longest time they had seen him that way. Even those who knew him the longest, the suits, were giving the blond his space...and more importantly Baby 76 hadn't caused any trouble with the other females.

"We're here." Naruto slightly smiled, seeing gates that were seemingly being rebuilt with guard posts on the sides. "Gladius. Remove them." Naruto ordered.

"Hey! This is an Iwagakure construction site, no outsiders are permitted! Turn back or your lives will be forfeit!" an Iwa-nin shouted from the post.

"Don't bother. We've allowed you to rebuild here to save us some of the work, and you've done the job perfectly. Your services are no longer required, so I'll have to ask you to vacate our village." Gladius calmly stated, tapping both posts while walking to the gate followed by his family.

"I said-huh why is the post expanding?" one of the ninja wondered before going up in an explosion, most likely signaling any ninja overseeing the reconstruction efforts.

Pica opened the gates with one hand, and they were met with a sizable army in their path. The family jumped to action in a formation that kept Naruto in the middle, protecting from any stray attacks.

Monet created snowstorms cold enough to cause sever frostbite, before she ripped the effected limbs off.

Vergo cracked yet another Iwa jonin over the head with his Haki-imbued bamboo, and used Shigan (Finger Pistol) on another.

Konohamaru tore the throats out of all who opposed him, red eyes gleaming and blood dripping from his teeth, and a few unlucky ones impaled by his regrowing horns.

Moegi transformed a group that decided to go after her into a human sized tin soldier, and rode on its shoulder issuing orders as it took the brunt of the attack for her but continued without feeling a thing.

Hanabi avoided all the ninja gracefully, seeing where they were and reading their minds before they finalized their own plans. Using her dangerous tears to drown those that stood against her family.

Baby 76 used a myriad of weapons to dispatch her enemies, slicing, maiming, impaling, and shooting all that approached her love.

Julius stole the oxygen from his vicinity, suffocating any within his range and using it for his Burū Sōdo (Blue Flame Sword) which cleanly cleaved through the Iwa ninja and cauterizing the wounds.

Yakumo used her Devil Fruit powers to render her enemies weapons useless, before trapping them in her art forever with a slow and painful death.

Gladius set land mines and ruptured his arms for maximum coverage of the ground and air, either destroying those caught or getting his hands on them to rupture their clothing or headbands.

Shikamaru used his Rūmu (Room) to launch any throwing weapons back at their users and bisect them from his standing position, before stopping their hearts using electric shocks.

Diamante ruthlessly cut down the skilled ninja, flattening his sword and having it weave through them all, slicing and impaling vital spots with ease. His steel block cape covering his back from all attacks.

Trebol was easily tanking attacks as none of them reached his true body through his viscous jacket, launching snot balls at heads to halt breathing or at limbs to halt movement before lighting them on fire and blowing them to pieces.

Pica had it the easiest as his true body was hidden behind layers of rock as he showed the Iwa-nin who truly ruled stone. The golem squashed them underneath his hand without a second glance, instead setting his sights on the next victim.

The attack was an unprecedented massacre that showed how truly ruthless the Donquixote Family could be in pursuit of their goals, with Donquixote Naruto at the helm. The blond didn't need to lift a finger to take control of this village he had his eyes on as a refuge long before Tsunade had taken the hokage seat.

"This is the turning point! Uzushio is mine by birthright, I'd like to see anyone try and take it from me! I will sit on the apex of these nations and remake the world from here!" Naruto laughed as the carnage continued.

This incident would show the world what the blond was capable of, and many would soon try and infiltrate the village to gain intel and/or assassinate the leader but they would never return to their villages. As of this moment the world would begin to change, and the Donquixote Family would not be seen or heard from for three years following this invasion.

AN: And then agentman died from overworking himself, just kidding, I definitely wanna do my best to finish these stories. Don't wanna leave you guys hanging. Hopefully as recompense, I will tell you that I've been thinking of another story that would be a One Piece/X-over story (it's the best way I can think to describe it). Make no mistake that Naruto will be the main character of it but it will be with a lot of other anime/manga characters being integrated into One Piece. It has the potential to be huge so it will be a long time coming, especially because for some of my ideas I have to finish the anime/manga that characters may or may not come from.

And now I'll leave you with that information as it gnaws at you, wondering when I might make it and who could be put into it and how. Ja ne.
