Two shilouettes drifted through the dusk, coming up to a plain building with a small sign in the window.

WE MIGHT HAVE WHAT YOU NEED.

The shorter figure looked up to the taller one, silently questioning. The taller figure's lips curved.

"Reach and feel it, my dear Chrome. This is certainly the place that those intriguing Mist flames have been calling us to."

One bright purple eye glinted as Chrome looked consideringly at the door, before nodding agreement. "Shall we go inside, Mukuro-sama?"

"Why not, after such an... insistant invitation?"

###!###

Instead of being greeted by a host, the two Mist-users found themselves following a path traced out by wisps of indigo flames. "Elaborate," Mukuro commented with false lightness. The flames were no illusions, which meant either the person who left them was powerful enough to trail lasting flames behind them - an unheard of level of power - or they were skilled enough to hide from Mukuro and Chrome even as they led them deeper into their territory - disturbing for an entirely different reason.

The flame trail led to a door marked with a cartoon lion, the final flame resting squarely on its handle. It blinked out as Mukuro reached for the door.

Chrome rested a hand on Mukuro's arm. Mukuro-sama, let me go first. I can defend myself, and you are the better choice to keep our path back clear. The words passed between them in silence; their bond was too deep for any outsider to eavesdrop on, no matter how powerful they may be.

Mukuro smiled. "Ladies first." Chrome returned it, and summoned her trident as she turned the handle and pushed the door open.

Instead of any explanations, the room held a boy around Chrome's age with wildly fluffy brown hair and eyes that gleamed orange for a moment as he looked at them both. "Oh! Hello." He eyed Chrome's trident nervously. "Do you want to spar?"

Chrome and Mukuro looked at each other, double-checking their confidence, and then both stepped into the room. "Do you?" Mukuro purred, posture taking on a sensual note.

Instead of being offput by the sexual undertones, the boy seemed relieved by them. He smiled a little shyly and leaned back, putting his body on display. "My name is Sky. I'm a prostitute. Welcome to my room."

Chrome flushed bright red. Mukuro just - stopped. The enigmatic summons had been leading them to a prostitute?

Sky looked a little exasperated by their reactions. "Again?"

"What do you mean?" Mukuro asked sharply, Chrome gripping her trident harder and strengthening it. 'Again' implied that there had been people brought here before. People who weren't here now.

"You didn't know what I am. Rain-san didn't, Lightning-kun couldn't, Sun-nii-san didn't - Cloud-san and Storm-san are the only ones who did, and if neither of you did, that means most of my visitors haven't!"

Chrome giggled at the recital. Mukuro smiled coldly, noticing the pattern to the names. So this Sky was gathering flames, and thought to trick them with a show of innocence? (He blithely overlooked the fact that if this was meant as a trick all Sky would have had to do would be use different names for his other people, the fact that the mysterious flames which had brought them here were definitely not from this boy, the fact that being - or pretending to be - a prostitute was the opposite of a powerful position, and everything else that ran counter to his new theory.) Time to push the boy a little, show him why he should have chosen a better cover story, and make him regret trying to fool Mukuro.

Dear Nagi, would you care to join me in sampling what this boy has to offer?

Chrome's visible eye widened as she squeaked in surprise at Mukuro's suggestion. Both of them have sex with Sky?

Sky looked puzzled by Chrome's sudden embarrassment, but before he could say anything Mukuro stepped forwards and cupped Sky's cheek in his hand. "I believe that both of us are interested in your - ah - expertise."

Sky bit his lip, adorably uncertain. "I - uh - I've n-never been with a girl before," he admitted with an apologetic glance at Chrome. "I can't promise to be very good..."

Chrome let go of her trident (it vanished in a puff of indigo) and fidgeted nervously. "Ah - ano - I don't have - any - experience, so - I won't - be judging? You?"

She couldn't believe that this was going to happen. The thought of sharing her first time with Mukuro wasn't a problem, even if the rest of the world would say it should be given their almost-siblings relationship. Her first time being with a complete stranger who she'd met a few minutes ago was a much stranger thought.

Sky smiled hopefully. "So we'd be learning together, like I have with my other visitors? That's - I like sharing like that, it's fun."

Chrome smiled back shyly.

Mukuro watched them with a faint sneer. This boy was designed to tempt them, wasn't he? Isolated so they knew he was 'safe', cutely unthreatening, experience to match Mukuro's and innocence to match Chrome's.

And a Sky. A Sky without a Mist.

"I do hope you won't find the two of us too much for you to handle," Mukuro purred as he stepped forwards.

Sky's smile turned sweetly mischievous. "I guess we'll have to see," he said, ducking his head and peering up at Mukuro.

..."I'll limit myself to only imitating what you do to my dear Chrome," Mukuro offered.

..."You're so soft," Sky breathed in wonder.

Chrome blushed. "So are you," she whispered, as if the three of them were sharing a secret.

...Sky arched back with a startled cry. Mukuro smiled at Chrome over his shoulder and murmured, "Is it good, Sky?"

"Oh! Yes!"

...Mukuro and Chrome curled possessively around Sky and smiled at each other. Sky hummed with sleepy delight. "C'n I - can I call you Mist? An' Mist-chan?"

Well, Nagi? Shall we claim this Sky from the Mist-user who owns this place?

Chrome smiled back at her brother-in-all-but-blood. As you wish, Mukuro-sama.

They'd both been lonely without a Sky of their own to belong with.
