Ending Self Harm

I hear you're screams of anguish, I feel your never ending pain.

Your sadness begs for mercy, while the pain continues its game.

Each morning when you wake, it is too another day.

A day filled with anguish, a day filled with pain.

At night you climb into bed, under the shelter of your home.

You lay there and think of monsters, that are much too close to home.

Wishing for a safeness, you have not felt in years.

Begging for some mercy, to not quite listening ears.

Still you remain quiet, and you take every hit each day.

Because you know what is out there, and you refuse to lose this game.

The monsters scream in victory, as you lay there in utter pain.

Silently thinking, of much better days.

I hear you're screams anguish, and I feel your never ending pain.

Outside you beg for nothing, you will not cave in today.

Standing tall outside it all, smiling a little more each day.

You will someday scream your victory, you will soon win this game.

The monsters will soon fall, the ears will soon listen.

Your anguish will end, and the pain will lessen.

Each morning when you wake, it is too another day.

A day filled with joy, a day filled with personal gain.
