We're coming up on the last couple chapters everyone! Thank you for sticking with me until now! I got lazy with this fanfic :( It could be so much better. . . . well. . . .I'll try again for LaLu sometime though.

After this I'm immediately starting another, but sorry, it's not LaLu! I'm going to work harder on the new one, and it will be a vampire one (Dnn't worry about it, I'll make it not incredibly cliched) I recently read Rust Blaster(Which is actually good, but It's rushed since its only seven chapters.), so now I really want to write one!

I'll post a poll to make it GraLu, RoLu, or an OC(That my other fanfic Camisado is featuring) x Lucy. I already have a good bit of it figured out!

Sorry, but the one who kept him sane will be on hiatus since I HAVE LOST ALL INSPIRATION AND IDEAS FOR IT. I feel like screaming.

Well, enough ranting and thanks. Here!,

Laxus growled at his opponent, in fighting stance. Natsu just wobbled from one foot to the other in a mocking dance.

"You know. . . I've gotten powerful, Laxus" Natsu said in a cutesy tone, only to fake vomit immediately afterwards.

"I'll kill you if it means saving Lucy. I smelt you at the site of the fire mages, you've caused enough trouble to justify your death." Laxus scowled as he felt lightning spark around his body. Natsu smirked.

"If you could smell me, then why didn't you go after me!?" Natsu asked teasingly as he lit his limbs on fire. Laxus launched himself at Natsu, swinging at him as Natsu dodged. They landed in opposite spots.

"Didn't you see how Lucy was!?" Laxus yelled as he changed into his lightning form, rushing at Natsu. Natsu smiled as he changed into a fireball and shot away. When Laxus landed, he glared questioningly at Natsu, who smiled innocently.

"Told ya'! I'm all fired up." Natsu roared. Laxus fake laughed. That was absolutely horrifying. "How about we do this for real? Winner gets Lucy. The other dies!" Natsu sneered as he readied a move. Laxus nodded in agreement.

"Lightning/Fire dragon's punch!" They roared as she swing their fists at eachother, only for the impact to send them both back. Laxus immediately launched another:

"Lightning eruption!"

Natsu just launched himself away, safely avoiding the move as it tore through the Earth.

"Fire Cannons!" Natsu sand as he sent a number of fireballs swerving at Laxus, who easily dodged them.

"We're getting nowhere!" Laxus screamed. Natsu just chuckled as the ground beneath Laxus suddenly erupted in flames, singing a good portion of Laxus's lower half. He cringed as he jumped away.

"Lightning dragon's breakdown fist! Lightning storm!" Laxus yelled, releasing two magics at once as he created a giant sphere of lightning magic, slamming it onto the ground. Natsu was caught off guard and was shot with lightning from all sides. A scream erupted from his throat as he fell to his knees. Laxus inspected him carefully.

Natsu cringed as he began to get himself up, only to fall back down as Laxus approached him.

"You said one gets Lucy, and the other one dies." He said as he raised his fist, only to be intercepted by a leg kicking the weakened body in front of him. His eyes widened as Natsu fell to the ground unconscious. Laxus looked to find the perpetrator, only to see brown eyes smiling at him.

"Thank god. . . I made it." Lucy exhaled as she fell against Laxus, who caught her in his arms. She smiled up at him as she reached for his face.

"There's no need to kill him. . . the council can have him, okay?" Lucy grinned as she planted a chaste kiss on Laxus's cheek. He blushed.

"Fine. . . "

Helping herself off of Laxus, she held his hand.

"Let's go take this to the council. Then we can go tell the guild." She said as she began to limp ahead. Laxus noticed.

"Lucy! What did he do to you!?" He screamed as he wrapped his hand around her's again. She smiled.

"It's nothing. You might kill him if I told." Lucy sighed. He didn't like it, but followed her wishes as they dragged the body towards the train.

He still had a grudge though, as he punched Natsu's body every hour, ' just to be safe'.

EPILOGUE:

It was two years later when everything actually completely settled down. After 'The Incident' as they all call it, Lucy and Laxus had to track down all the mages of the fire guild Natsu had created. In the process, they went on a dark guild hunt together, successfully taking down twelve others. The awkward couple slowly became less awkward, eventually having a baby, who Mira had deemed herself Godmother of. Lucy became an S-Class mage with the help of Laxus, and Natsu had been put into an asylum. He eventually got back to a remorseful version of the old Natsu, who apologized profusely to yhe two, and eventually accepted them. Now they lived together in an apartment in Magnolia.

"Oi, Lucy!" Laxus called from the living room. Lucy poked her head out of a room down the hall, chastising him with a glare as she pointed to a sleeping blonde child in her arms. Laxus urged her over in a come hither motion. She complied.

He straightened out a paper he had gotten earlier that morning, pointing at an obituary on the side.

Natsu Dragoneel. Mage.

Dragoneel killed himself in a council asylum at around midnight yesterday. He was described as a 'Hot headed idiot' by old friends. He had committed many crimes and was the leader of a dark guild that recently disbanded. He had said the day before that he had too many regrets that he wanted to make up for his sins. This crypticc message was explained following his death.

Lucy frowned as she read the paper. Laxus noticed this and urged her to sit beside him. She complied as she sat next to him, slightly snuggling into his whispered to her, as to not disturb the one year old.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he planted a kiss on her forehead. She nodded.

"It's okay. It was his decision. . . I guess he'd had enough." Lucy replied softly as she returned the kiss to his cheek.

"Anyway. . . I have you. . . so it's okay." She said as she held one of his hands, silver rings adorning both the mages ring fingers.

"Me too. . . I love you" Laxus said quietly to her. She smiled at him. They shared a quick kiss.

"I love you too."

I've decided as I wrote this that after I finish another fanfic (Idk which) I'll make a LaLu AU fanfic. Give me time! I'll make it 10 times better, I promise!
