Lucy P.O.V

This was so a test. I sat in front of the camp fire preparing dinner for all of us. Crime Sorciere. For now we were to stay in Waas forest for a break from the daily missions and to boost my magic. It had been a while since I had joined the treo. I was alone, which was rare with all three members of the guild present in the forest. I had moved on from endurance of the body a while ago. I now trained in endurance of the mind, mentality in other words. I was in Jellal's opinion a natural when it came to this.

Flashback (Lucy P.O.V)

"Your strength of power and body can and is very important but most mages do not train themselves is their weakness and ultimately their downfall." Jellal stated using his serious teacher voice. This was very new I had never experienced someone other than myself in my own mind. "I will show you how you know someone is invading your mind but I swear I will not look at anything" I nodded instantly trusting him.

He closed his eyes looking almost in a sleeping state. That's when I felt the alien feeling in my mind. That must be him. It felt so invasive yet because it was him I was relaxed. I slowly felt the presence leave my mind. "You see? Whenever you get that feeling in your mind it means someone is trying to gain access to you mind..Now I will teach you how to defend and counter it.."

End of flashback (still Lucy's P.O.V)

Jellal taught me how to defend my mind using a Mind barrier. This put a shield around my mind and thoughts so no one could anticipate my decisions. He had also caught me a counterattack, which I have developed into something called a Mind blast. I had a feeling that I would be testing it out soon.

As if on cue I felt that presence in my mind but did nothing. Then another joined it also slipping past. Then again another which made three. As I thought a test. I didn't defend myself by putting up a Mind barrier I let them get close thinking that they had won and gained access. That was until I sent out a Mind blast. You see when I did this I sent out a shock wave which would blow them out of my mind and also leave them in shock long enough to slip into their minds easily. Thats exactly what I did but I didnt think of what I would find once inside.

I was attacked by past memories I saw what they expierienced. I saw a small girl with pale pink hair. She looked like...Meredy? I saw a burning village and Meredy was in tears. This is how Ultear found her...The memories kept repeating and repeating. The worst thing was that I couldn't do anything to help her or dtop this from happening. I had grown closer to all of them and to see Meredy crying like this killed me. Knowing that I could only watch. I was helpless.

The scene changed to that of a strange building I saw two figures. A woman that had short hair and kind eyes looked at the younger girl. The child had short blackish hair and a very scared expression. They looked like mother and daughter. The woman I assumed to be the mother stood from her crouching position over the small child and stepped back away from her. She turned beginning to leave. I felt what the child felt. Abandoned. Anger. Sorrow. Every feeling she had in that moment. Is this...? Ultear?

The images faded away until it settled again on a tower. The tower of Heaven?! But we destroyed that...I saw a small boy with dark blue hair standing overlooking the sea. He had a sadistic smile plastered on his face. I noticed the tattoo on his face. There was no doubt that this was Jellal. He watched something drift off in the distance I couldnt see what it was but I could see it was slightly red. He was in rags and did nothing just staring at the red dot as it grew smaller. I noticed there was remains of a boat near by. The boat had been destroyed?

The images kept spinning and flashing through my mind making me feel intense head pains. I couldn't tell where I was anymore. I was too involved in their minds to get a grip on reality now. The images faded and I fell to my knees gripping my head. The memories were now mixed with my own. Like my own personal nightmare playing over and over. I tried to block it out but nothing was working. It was so real..they had all been thorugh all of this...They believed these memories to be their sins...Soon enough all three came running to me. Their mouths moved but I couldn't hear a word that was spoken. Everything was hurting, I stopped uttering the same thing over and over again.

"I'm sorry" I reapeated, their mouths stopped moving and they stared at me like I was crazy. I had invaded their privacy and that was wrong, I had gone into their memories for mavis's sake! How could I do that? Well it seemed as thought I am getting my punishment now for sure...

My vision blurred and I felt light headed. Just as soon as it began the images were gone. My peace of mind was short lived as I blacked out.
