I watched Rose as she struggled to hold on to the lever. Finger by finger, inch by inch, her hand eventually slipped. As I watched her, I screamed her name. She was gone, into the Void; lost forever.
I couldn't let that be true. I knew I had to save her even if it meant losing my life in the process. She was my Rose, and I was her Doctor. Without hesitation, I let go. I let go of this reality and let my self be sucked into the void. I was going after her, and there was no changing my mind now. I wasn't going back.
I would face the millions of Daleks and Cybermen we just sent into that unknown hell just to make sure she was safe. There was a connection. I was going to save Rose Tyler even if it was the last thing I ever did. My thoughts were then abruptly stopped by my body crashing into the depths of the void.
