Now I know I haven't posted anything in a long time however, I lost 3-4 months worth of an ICT project on a software that I didn't understand. So I had to balance redoing the first project while doing the second project and making a film for my film studies class plus my biology work and I just didn't have time for writing.
Over the course of the unintended hiatus I lost my muse for this story and saw several flaws in the plot and I'm not really sure how to continue this.
That said, I will try my best to continue with this story as well as begin some new ones from ideas bouncing around in my head. Also earlier chapters may undergo some light editing to remove potential plot holes.
I may also post a chapter to explain the background of this story a little more, with the summoning and travel and what not so stay tuned.
Also, i have completely rewritten this chapter from what I originally had.
Thank you to all who followed, favorited and most importantly reviewed! It was ultimately the reviews that got me going again.
Enjoy, Blue.

"Um… hi?"
Nasuada's eyes widened in surprise before hardening, "Guards!" She barked, all thoughts of the would be assassin temporarily displaced. The guards took up positions around the blonde swordsman.
Slade frowned and looked towards the Varden leader, "My Lady, what is this?" he asked.
Nasuada scowled back at him, "You are under arrest until we can a certain to where your loyalties lie."
"What?" Naruto knew he needed to play it cool and bluff his way through, despite his ability to fight his way out without a scratch.
Nasuada didn't back down, "You have been identified by a witness as the magician going by the name of Kyuubi."
Naruto fought down a smirk, this played right into his hands.
"But ma'am, I can't do magic!"
The room was silent for a moment. Nasuada motioned for Angela and Trianna to come forward. She glanced at them before asking, "Can you determine if he is being truthful?"
"Of course Lady" was the reply from Trianna. Angela simply smiling and bobbing her head in agreement.
The magic users moved foreword towards Slade.
"Now, this won't hurt a bit"
Naruto played his part and eyed her warily as Angela placed a hand on his chest. Similarly, Trianna reached up and placed a hand on his head.
"Its true. He doesn't have large enough reserves"
"Yes," agreed Trianna, "Whatever magic he does have is too small to light more that a fire"
"let alone hold an illusion over his eyes for an extended period of time," finished Angela.
Trianna hummed an agreement while removing her hand, turning to face her superior. "He is not Kyuubi. His memories place him asleep or training during the times Elva claims to have met with him."
Nasuada sighed and slumped back into her chair. "Very well. Slade I'm sure you understand I will have put you under surveillance for a week?"
Naruto nodded.
"Good. Go get some rest soldier."
"Yes my Lady!" Naruto snapped a saluted before leaving the room.
"Captain, have him under surveillance for two weeks."
"Yes ma'am!"
Nasuada motioned for her guards to leave and resume their posts outside, leaving the leader of the Varden alone with her servant, Trianna, Angela, and a passed out Elva.
"Angela, would you put Elva to bed please?" said a tired looking Nasuada, "With her unconscious we will have to wait for her to wake before we can ask her about her accusation."
Angela exited the room after putting Elva into her bed she closed the door and made her way to Nasuada's command room.
She entered to find Trianna and several other members of Du Vangr Gata surrounding the battered body of a man on the floor.
"Angela, come in" said Nasuada when she noticed the blonde at the doorway.
"What's going on here?' she asked.
Nasuada waved a hand towards the group of magicians, "This is the would be assassin from earlier."
"He got complacent when he realised there wasn't an immediate search and came back for another shot," said Trianna a smug grin on her face, "He was quickly caught and we managed to get into his mind before he could commit suicide."
Angela shot her a funny look, "and what does this have to do with me?"
Nasuada stepped in before a potential argument broke out, "We have discovered a group of magician spies from Galbatorix called the Black Hand. I need you to make me several quick acting paralysing poisons."
Angela nodded her head in agreement, "Yes, that makes sense if they can't speak they generally can't use magic."
"Can you do it by tomorrow?"
Angela huffed, "Of course I can! who do you think you're talking to?" Before spinning on her heel and walking out.
Nasuada just sighed, you never could tell what was going on in the blonde herbalist's head.
Back in his tent Naruto grinned, he didn't think Elva would have recognised him. He took out a knife and began to drain some of his blood into several jars in preparation for the blood clone jutsu.
As the second jar slowly filled he thought back on the presence that seemed to hover over the land. 'It feels similar to the far seeing technique of the mages from the far south.' remembering the elderly men and women that held vigil over large swathes of land far to the south as they watched for danger.
They energy they used wasn't too far from Chakra, which had allowed him to brute force his way through the technique, hoping for a look at his family that he hadn't seen for many a century.
His hope and joy had quickly turned to anger and despair as his searches turned up nothing but bones, empty nest grounds and deserted caves.
How his anger had changed into a burning rage as the only dragon he found was nothing more than a wild beast at the feet of the one man Naruto had right then sworn to kill. Galbatorix.
Further use of the technique had shown Naruto the once uninhabited land of the dragons teeming with life, humans had arrived sometime and possessed great numbers while the dwarves he remembered in the south had almost disappeared.
The forests of the dragons were uninhabited, still as pure as he remembered them.
But now something called to him from the forests. It was more of a gut feeling that had solidified as he traced the presence to the great forest, or Du Vangr Gata as it was apparently called now.
Naruto sat back and allowed his natural healing to replenish his missing blood. He placed the three jars of blood on the ground in front of him and rushed through a series of hand signs.
"Ketsueki Bunshin no Jutsu!"
The blood in the jars rose and formed into a humanoid shape before gaining detail and finally color.
The end result was a complete copy of Naruto standing in front of him.
The clone looked around for a second before nodding to its creator and lying on the bunk. Naruto then stuck a small seal onto the clone that would continuously feed it a small amount of chakra in order for it to keep it's form.
After that he took the dart that he had caught earlier in Nasuada's office and stuck it into the clones neck allowing the blood he had just drained to splash onto the floor.
Naruto then gathered his large scroll which held his belongings and before disappearing into the night, he had one last stop before heading to the forests of the dragons.
AN: So this chapter is a little short, but I'm only just getting back into the swing of things.
When Naruto arrived in alagaesia - Naruto arrived in alagaesia before the elves but after the dwarves.
Just to clarify, the peoples of the south and Alagaesia will never meet each other in this story. Nor will they play a role in this story, they were mainly a way for me to have Naruto know about the dragons dying and limited knowledge of the world.
Yukimori said in their review about the types of eyes, I haven't given it much thought the red eyes were simply there because he feels that Elva would relate easier to someone who seems just as abnormal as her, as she is obviously aware that her appearance frightens people.
Slade isn't real, just a fake identity to get into the varden.
I know Angela can't use magic, BUT, she can sense it. Like how eragon can "see" magic in the belt of Beloth the wise.
