"Mephisto." Shiro said sternly.

"Yes, Fujimoto?"

"What is the meaning of a high powered demon like Lucifer's son doing in the first class Yukio will teach? Do you not think that requires more precaution and experience? Who knows what that child will do, what morals he was raised with. He could rain hell upon this school and you just let him in under a brand new teacher's watch?" Mephisto smiled wickeder as the question lengthened, it curling around his cheek and his emerald eyes gleaming. Oh how he loved the thrill of deception. The process of someone so sure he's on to you, but so far from ever being able to prove it, or even accuse him of the right scheme.

"Are you conspiring against the Order Sir Pheles?" Arthur said as he strode into the office, not bothering to knock or even wait for permission to enter.

"Of course not Arthur. I am nothing but loyal to the Knights of the True Cross," Mephisto said as he bowed and removed his hat, exposing his large purple curl as well as the demonic nature of his ears. Arthur turned, his blonde hair flying to the side as his gaze focused on Shiro.

"Is your son capable of this? Or should it be handed over to someone more capable." Red eyes narrowed at the blonde, overconfident arcknight.

"Yukio is plenty capable of handling even the most powerful descendent of Satan's son." Oh but it you knew Fujimoto. Rin himself is the most powerful, and direct, descendent of Satan. And he exists here. In Assiah. Mephisto thought. Was he conspiring against the order? No. Was he aiding Lucifer in his plan? Yes. Was this going to endanger Assiah? The two highest ranking exorcists in the order were in that office to try and determine whether their world was immediately or imminently at risk.

"What makes you so sure?" Angel prodded.

"Gentlemen. Shall I propose a wager?" The green hamster at Mephisto's desk ceased eating and looked up, strangely focused on the conversation between two exorcists and a demon for an animal.
