So I have completed my first story... Hm. It is extremely satisfying, yet I feel that so much more can be said! What will Micole do now? Where is she going? Who else besides Count Dracula is watching her? Now that she cannot return home, what will she tell her family? And isn't Mavis getting married! Ugh. I know I probably let a lot of you down with this ending, but that was the best way TO end this story. What you really want out of a story (you know, besides romance of course!) is to see our favorite characters overcome something, and learn from it or otherwise change into a new person, be it better or worse. Micole Morgan changed. She went from being a cautious adventurer to a brilliant fighting machine and fell in love for the first time in her life, but it was doomed in her eyes, thus leading to her decision to leave rather than stay and potentially be happy with Dracula. And the vampire king himself has also changed, and though he never said it, it is clear he shares Micole's feelings to a certain degree... In fact he is heart-broken that she chooses to leave, just as Mavis did. Even Mavis and Jonny change, though it is more subtle. Mavis is now empowered and has raised the bar of her personal limitations. She fought hard to protect what she loved (Micole and Jonny) and put herself in danger to do it. Perhaps she is more like her father than she thinks... All in all, this story was a great learning experience for me, and had some elements that make up our favorite stories. (If you want to know how I kept up with the story, just let me know in a review or PM). I used a worksheet known as a BEATS sheet, you can Google it in fact. I can also upload it here if you'd like. (No credit to me, as it is from the Save the Cat novel—Google that book, too!) Thank you for reading... Ciao!
