The sounds of sirens filled the school grounds, but he was deaf to the noise. Instead all he heard was the sound of flesh being torn apart and the overwhelmingly scent of blood filling the air. He felt everything as if it was happening all over again. The pain, the horror on Oga's face and the fear. The fear of dying. And how his last breath tasted like blood.
He thought that he could handle it. He wanted to be able to handle it. The sooner things got back to normal, the better. Because in reality everyone was fine after the shit that happened weeks ago.
It was just him that was stuck. And that needed to end. He couldn't become weaker. He couldn't be that much of a burden.
So Monday morning he went back to school when it had only been a week since the Takamiya fiasco. His arrival back to Ishiyama was overlooked when Himewaka had decided to return from his absence the same day. He had yet to see the heir yet, and he didn't want to.
He honestly didn't care if he had to interact with Himewaka, since all the bad blood seemed to be nonexistent between the third year and everyone else. And he didn't want to make himself seem weaker than he already was by being hung up over what Himewaka did.
He had to get over it.
He had to be normal.
Walking into the school had been fine. He kept to himself and wasn't actually surprised to see that all the damage done to the school seemed to have disappeared. He had hoped to see a familiar face early, but there was no one to be found. Feeling the eyes of the power hungry students on him, he quickly made his way to the roof.
He hoped a high point of view would give him a sight of Oga. He tried to walk fast and avoided walking down halls that were packed with higher classman delinquents. He favored walking into a hallway when a group of grumbling second years came stomping down the stairs. Walking down the hallway, head down, he hurried to the opposite stairs. But midway he spotted something that caught his eye.
His curiosity got the best of him and soon he was walking towards the stain. Kneeling down to get a better look, he saw that is was a red stain.
Looking up he realized that he was in the hallway where he and Takamiya fought. And that's when he remembered. The horrid smells. The taste of blood on his tongue and the overbearing aura of failure as Hecadoth told him to flee. It was too much. He lost himself in the scenes that played inside his head.
It was only when a heavy hand was slapping his cheek did the scenes disperse. The image of a child's bloody hand disappeared to give way to a yelling Hanazawa.
"I found him!"
Who she was yelling at was unknown to him, but he soon heard other voices as his head began to clear.
"Get the fuck out of the way."
"Everyone get out of here before I kick all your asses."
"There's other hallways you idiots!"
"Hey you with me." This voice was closer to him but he didn't pay it any attention. Instead he looked around to see several bodies trying to enter the hallway. But somebody was blocking them. A large body with pigtails took one hallway while a smaller body calmly took the other.
A hand came towards his face and as an instinct, he tensed his body waiting for the impact. But instead a gentle hand tapped his face and made him look up.
"Furuichi! Hey you ok!?"
Before he could answer a hand roughly grabbed him by the collar and stood him on his feet. Hands grabbed his arms and he fuzzily noticed that Yuka and Kanzaki were on his sides. He guessed they had come before he could even comprehend what was going on.
How long was he stuck in his mind? How did he not notice the group of people now swarming the halls? He was trying to answer these questions but his mind was now trying to play catch up. He felt sick, as he realized how he just acted. How the others had saw him. On the hallway floor staring at a faded red stain.
Creepyichi.
When he finally began to take his surroundings he saw that they had dragged him to the rooftop where Toujo was throwing out the last student. Hands again on his face made him look up to Yuka and Kanzaki.
"Breathe." Kanzaki demanded from him. That was when he realized how hard he was breathing.
He sounded like the time Oga and him were competing with one another on who could hold their breath the longest underwater. They almost passed out from their stupidity, if Misaki hadn't pulled them out. He nodded to show he was listening, but he struggled to get his breathing slower. He began blocking the images in his head and tried to think of the present. Slowly but surely, he pushed back the panic and memories.
Kanzaki watched the process the entire time and nodded with approval. "Good." Furuichi's breathing return to normal, but the paleness and tired look still remained on his face.
The first year couldn't look at the others and asked weakly. "Don't tell Oga. Or anyone. Please." He added the pleading word and Kanzaki almost felt offended at the plead for silence, but realized the end must have been towards Yuka. He saw firsthand how the Red Tail members had endlessly teased the guy.
"Alright." Kanzaki promised.
Furuichi didn't bother to look if Yuka agreed, instead he picked himself up. With unsettling steps he turned away from the trio. His steps didn't falter even when Toujo called after him. "Where you going Furuichi!?"
"Home." Was the blunt reply. Without another word Furuichi left the roof, hoping that word wouldn't reach Oga. He really needed to get his shit together. It was bad enough that two of the Toujinshiki saw him lose it right now. Who knew when they were going to turn against Oga, and use him just like Himekawa? Chills ran down his body at the thought, but before he could fall apart he quickly made his way home.
The trio still on the roof watched him leave the school grounds, and when he was out of the gate Toujo turned to Yuka. "We trailing him?"
"Yup." Yuka replied instantly.
"Come on we can use the hidden staircase I built." Toujo said with pride and a smirk.
"A hidden staircase?!" Before the two could sprint off, they were stilled by the sound of laughter coming from Kanzaki. The two quickly walked over to where Kanzaki was staring at and they soon too started laughing. The trio took a moment to stare towards the ambulance where a body could be seen on the stretcher.
"Bout time he did something about that dumbass. Though I still need to get my own rematch." Toujo said with a smirk.
"I can't believe he ripped off his dick shaped hair" Yuka exclaimed excitedly.
"Don't worry his personally will make up for that loss." Kanzaki scoffed but was also smiling at the new hairdo the heir was styling. The three scanned the grounds until one of them spotted Oga, who was walking away from the scene.
The trio stared at the expression on the first year's face and stilled at the dark aura that surrounded him.
"Wonder what rich boy did to Oga for him to rip off his dick hair." Yuka asked aloud. The two boys didn't respond but seemed to muse along with her.

A week passed, and Furuichi managed to stay at school. But he might as well not have even been there. He was silent all the time, and never commented on anything anymore. The silence was noticed by majority of the core group. And all seemed to be on edge, waiting to see what Oga would do.
But the first year did nothing. If anything, he was just pissed all the time. Saying ridiculous things and glancing at Furuichi. As if waiting him to get the bait and over react to it. But he just stayed silent, his mind clearly on something else.
By the end of the week, some had actually seen that Furuichi was beginning to separate from Oga. Kunieda saw this first and had decided that she would actually try to hear Furuichi's side. Already rumors were beginning to fly between the two.
Following him down the hallways from a distant, she planned to talk to him alone and where distractions couldn't interrupt them. She lost sight of the first year when he rounded the corner, and quicken her pace to make sure she didn't lose him.
Her walk turned into a sprint, when the sound of male voices and mocking laughter filled the halls. With silent steps she looked at the scene of twenty plus second years surrounding Furuichi, all with malicious grins. Taunts were thrown at the figure in the middle of the circle, but he ignored them.
Instead he grabbed something from his jacket and what he did next made all the enemies laugh. Kunieda saw him put the tissues safely back into his jacket and the next moment, Furuichi moved.
Screams and cries of pain soon filled the hallways.
~Beelzebub~
Furuichi was walking side by side with Kunieda. The hallway where their respected fights took place was in ruins with broken glass and wall plaster decorating the floor. Kunieda was covered in dust and wanted to yell at Furuichi for throwing three students into the ceiling. The action had caused dust and plaster to fall on her and cover her from head to toe. Her enemy almost got a hit on her, with that distraction.
The yells had died in her throat though, when she closely looked at Furuichi. The look of fear was etched in Furuichi's face and body. She watched his hands shake as they pulled out the tissues that were in his nose. They were dripping in blood and the shaking fingers tore them apart before they dropped them on the floor.
Looking at him she saw blood running down the side of his head, caused by a lucky shot with the enemy's elbow. But her attention was focused on his nose which was still staining his mouth and chin with blood. The flow was heavy and steady. It was making Kunieda worry.
Before the other could stop her, she gripped his chin and examined the blood covered lowered part of his face.
"Has it stopped bleeding yet?" He asked in a bored tone.
"Not yet." The blood was dark and gave Furuichi an unsettling look. He had stopped wiping the blood due to not wanting to stain his clothes and it would just be replaced with more blood. Kunieda was about to voice her worries when she was interrupted. A piece of ceiling fell through at that moment and she had to grab his hand to stop him from putting another tissue in his nose.
Though Furuichi saw the fallen piece of ceiling, Kunieda still kept her grip on his wrist. Furuichi had yet to stop pulling, and Kunieda knew if she let go, the tissues would be put back in his nose.
She had no idea what the tissues did to him, but she guessed it had something to do with demons. The broken bodies that littered the hallway were proof enough. The killing aura that came from Furuichi during his battle had been alarming.
"C'mon we should get out of here." She more or less ordered. Pulling his hand down, she watched carefully as he stuffed the tissue into his pocket.
"Okay." Was the weak reply.
They walked in silence, Kunieda walking slower than normal just so she can walk in pace with him. She usually preferred silence when she had to have Furuichi as company, but now she wished that the other would say something. Anything but this uncomfortable silence with that look of sadness that was now expressed on his face. Not able to handle the silence any longer, she finally asked. "Are you alright?"
A confused expression crossed Furuichi's face so she continued carefully. "It's just since the incident we've been all kind of worried and-"
A short sarcastic laugh stopped her from continuing. In a bitter tone, Furuichi stood in front of her and asked. "Is that what we're calling it now? The incident."
"It's better than calling it having your soul ripped out and us having to chase them." She replied smartly back.
Guilt overcame her, and she quickly mumbled an apology. Furuichi however didn't look bothered and instead laughed mockingly again. "Don't feel bad Kunieda. If it had to happen to anyone it should have been me."
"What?"
Before she could dodge him, Furuichi turned and leaned down to where they were face to face. With a smirk and a wild look in his eyes, he said. "Come on Queen, don't play stupid. Having my heart ripped out only to be revived to see everyone is still buddy buddy and going on as if nothing has happened. Was I supposed to be okay?"
She barely shook her head no when Furuichi continued. Blood dripping down his chin, eyes hard and glaring at her, he snapped at her. "Then why are you asking."
The hard glare was lifted when he closed his eyes and laughed. The laughter sent chills down her body and her hand slowly reached for her sword. When Furuichi opened his eyes, the pupils were dilated largely and gave him a dangerous appearance. A playful smile decorated his face and he gently said to the Queen. "You can laugh. It's okay. It's funny! Laugh at me Queen. Laugh at the butt of the joke."
Kunieda's hand now rested fully on the hilt of her katana, and she was ready to strike at any moment. The Furuichi in front of her was dangerous, and she had no idea when he would attack. The laughter stopped abruptly for Furuichi to instead cover his mouth. Before Kunieda could understand what was going on, he bolted to the nearest broken window and vomited. Kunieda stood still and waited till he was done.
When he turned to face her, she noticed the blood had finally stopped. His pupils were also back to normal, and his posture was sloppy. In an apologetic tone, he mumbled. "Sorry. That smell is horrible."
There was no distinct smells in the building, but she put it towards the tissue. She waited till he didn't need the support of the wall to speak. When he finally walked away from the wall she asked carefully. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, come on everyone's meeting up at Oga's today." Furuichi replied, already walking ahead.
They walked off school grounds in silence. This continued until a hand gripped her arm. The grip was tight, but was shaking slightly. She turned to Furuichi, sword already out and ready to attack.
The hold on her sword halted a moment as she took in the sight in front of her. Furuichi was staring in her direction, but was not looking at her. Instead it seemed he was staring through her.
With a fake smile Furuichi asked her while still holding her arm. "Sorry to trouble you, but my sight isn't that great right now."
To check if he was lying, she waved her sword slightly to see if Furuichi would glance at it. But he had no reaction. The fake calm expression on his face cleared away any doubts she thought he was scheming.
"How bad is it?" She asked.
"Everything's a little blurry and seems to be shaking."
Again she waved her hand in front of his face and still there was no reaction. He was lying about how bad his eyesight was now. She wondered how often Furuichi had been lying recently. But she couldn't get any answers right now. She needed to get them from the person closest to Furuichi. Hooking her arm into his, she silently guided him from the school to the Oga residence.
It took longer than usual to get there with Furuichi's small uneasy steps. She scolded him several times through the walk for him to trust her, but he never did. When they were finally walking into Oga's neighborhood, Furuichi's grip loosen. Turning to see what was wrong, she saw Furuichi blinking and rubbing his eyes.
A few tense moments passed until Furuichi stared at her with a weird smile and said. "I'm glad my first sight is a pretty face like yours."
She dropped his arm and walked at her normal pace, leaving him behind. She ignored his calls and quickly went inside the desired meeting place. She knew they were running late when she saw that only Nene and Oga were still there.
Her annoyance over what happened today showed through her body posture as Nene was already asking what had happened. Oga was waiting for an answer from her as well about Furuichi's whereabouts. He was already on his feet and was walking to the door.
But before he could exit the house, the door opened to reveal the missing person. His appearance was cleaner, Kunieda noted. She wondered though if either one of the boys would talk about his lateness. He had wiped the blood off his face, but that only revealed the several small cuts that decorated his face.
"What the hell happened to you guys?" Oga asked. He glanced at the dirty coat of Kunieda and Furuichi's cut up face.
"Nothing." Furuichi mumbled clearly avoiding the eyes of Oga.
Kunieda however was not amused by the answer. Walking towards the two she whispered to Oga out of Nene's earshot. "He called a demon and nearly killed everyone."
She barely finished before Oga pounced on Furuichi and began to dig into his pockets. "Give me the tissues!"
"Oga leave me the fuck alone!" Furuichi yelled back while pushing and kicking the other. Managing to put some distance between them, he explained himself loud enough for only Oga to hear. "They wanted to kidnap me. I just called someone to help out. It's fine!"
"Why the hell did you panic? I would've kicked their asses later and got you back." Oga stated obviously. He reached for the tissues again but his arm retracted harshly when Furuichi exclaimed at him. "I don't know that!" He didn't continue and pushed himself away from Oga. Away from the confused expression on his face.
The unsaid message rang clear. 'I can't trust you anymore.'
Any desire to get the tissues died as the words swarmed in Oga's head. Furuichi didn't trust him. The belief in Oga's strength that once powered Furuichi to be at the end of a gun was now broken.
Furuichi returned his glance to his friend but it quickly fell when another bout of nausea attacked him. Running past Oga and two stunned girls, he barely managed to make it to the restroom. Hovering over the toilet, the sounds of gagging and liquid hitting the toilet had all three cringing.
Nene and Kunieda took this moment to leave the house, but Kunieda said they would talk later. She sent the restroom a wary look before departing. Oga caught the look and watched her carefully as she left. When he was sure the two girls had left he walked to the restroom. He leaned against the doorframe and stared at the back of Furuichi.
"Sorry don't feel that great." Furuichi murmured. He waited a few moments before spitting out the last bile tasting saliva. After he walked to the sink and rinsed his mouth with water, the entire time Oga watching.
Looking in the mirror he saw the annoyed faces of Oga and Beel staring into his. He waited patiently for the other to say something.
Finally the other growled out. "Shut up." The next words however didn't have any anger in them. "Don't apologize.
"Okay." Furuichi answered quietly.
"Stop that." Oga finally snapped. Where the hell was the arguing? The ridiculous arguments and yelling that were a regular reaction to a situation like this. Glaring at Furuichi he ordered. "Don't use those tissues again."
"Okay." Was the infuriating reply.
Furuichi however, still wouldn't give them to him in the end.
Jeez so sorry for the lateness of this chapter. This was supposed to be a two chapter story, but because of how much trouble the last part is giving me I'm going to make it into a three chapter story.
So yes this chapter contains my headcanon where the tissues not only hurt Furuichi's health, but also his mental health. I really do love an insane powered Furuichi.
So I hope you all enjoyed and I will be working hard on the last chapter!
