It's been a while...onto the story!

The pups split up, for our game of hide and seek, before me and siku started to count, and once we got to sixty, there wasn't a pup in sight. But on the ground there were paw tracks leading in two separate directions. The pups must have went in two separate groups.

Siku smiled and said "Let's follow the tracks that head to the forest first, and then the track, which the ones that go to the town, later." To which I replied "Alright."

We jogged with our eyes glued to the trail left behind by the pups. In little time we heard little whispering voices, with shushing included. The source was a hollowed out log covered in green moss.

I stuck my head in the log and smiled, then I said "We found you." I lifted my head away from the log and the pups all marched out. In total it was four, Aleu, Kodi, Saba, and Dingo. Alue kept whispering to them "I told you guys to be quite."

After hearing this me and Siku looked at each other and smiled. Siku then said "Alright now we got to find the other two." All the pups seemed happy to hear this and followed me and Siku.

We backtracked, and then followed the two sets of tracks that led to the town.

Once we got to the town the tracks were mixed with other tracks, left by dogs, so it was down to our noses. It was easy to pick up their scents because it was fresh. Siku and I got so concentrated in following the scent trails, that when we looked up there was a fence. And when we turned around all four pups, that we already found, were gone.

Siku looked at me, and I gave her a look of disbelief. We looked back at the fence, and we noticed a pup sized hole at the bottom, but way too small for us. I turned away from the fence, and came face to face with a big dog, and three medium sized ones behind it. I then nudged siku with my muzzle and she turned around too.

I then spoke up and said "Look we don't want any trouble. We were just trying to find some pups." The big dog with the all black fur snarled "Yeah, nice excuse. Get out of this town, or you two will wish you never came." Siku then pleaded "Please we need to find Balto's pups..." She was abruptly cut off by the big black dog, whom which interjected "Enough! Shut up and leave both of you."

I was ready to attack, but one look at Siku and she sent the message that reminded me that it would be better to leave, then to alarm the whole town.

Siku and I left the alley unscathed, but not knowing what to do. Whether we should run away or wait for Balto. But a loud bang and a burning sensation in my right front leg, inducing a yelp, and Siku to say "Come on we need to get out of here."

Despite the pain I started to run after Siku, there was no other choice. A few other bangs were heard, but no hits. Once we crossed the tree-line the gunshots stopped and we were hidden amongst the trees.

I looked down to where I was shot, and blood was steadily streaming out. I winced and then Siku walked over and looked at it. She then said "Umm that doesn't look good. We need to get that cleaned." I nodded and I followed her to the nearby river.

When we got to the bank I dipped my shoulder into the freezing cold water, which stung unbelievably. After all the blood washed off, I pulled my shoulder out, and Siku then examined it again. She frowned and then said "Hold on don't move."

She then moved her muzzle by the wound, and opened her mouth and bit on the inside of the wound, ripping new flesh. Blood started to pour out again and I instinctively growled. She then pulled away and spat out the metal ball that hit me.

She then started to lick the wound which stung worse than the water. She stopped licking for a second and said "Stop tensing up, your making the blood flow more. " She then continued licking and I did my best to relax.

After she got the bleeding to stop she looked me in the eye and sweetly asked "Better?" I smiled and said "Much better." She returned the smile, and then I licked her red stained muzzle clean of blood.

After all the blood was gone she nuzzled my chest and I nuzzled her neck.

Updates should occur more often from now on.
