'Your pregnant'

Just the words sounded off to him. He couldn't raise a child in this. Not this war that was spawned it wouldn't do. He'd just have to take care of it himself. The thought though of harming something so precious though sickened him. Genesis paced in his cell quietly his eyes half closed. They were coming to put that accursed collar on him soon. He'd lose his mind be a perfect agent for them. He wouldn't do it he had to escape. He looked around the cell he was in. What did all cells have that could be used?

Cool air blew into the room and that's when it hit him. He'd use the air vents to escape. It had to work, it had to. He had to escape this horrible thing that was starting. Innocent people being collared just because they were different. He could blend in, he could try to help others. Rex would want him to do that. Genesis was silent as he stood on the chair working at the air vent. He didn't even hear the door open nor did he notice the man watching him with an amused look on his face.

"What are you doing?" Said the voice making Genesis whip around as he stared eyes wide. Was his timing wrong? No this person was early.

Genesis crouched down on the chair moving slowly eyes narrowed. The man still hadn't moved. He looked familiar like he should know him. Where had he seen this person before? Then it hit him the man was Rex's older brother.

Could he be trusted? Did he dare put his faith in a stranger?

Genesis eyed him slowly sitting in the chair.

"What are you doing?" Said Caesar looking amused still.

"..Trying to escape.." Genesis said glaring at the man sitting still his arms folded over his chest.

"I noticed that, but why?" Said Caesar coming in the cell fully holding up a machine passing it over Genesis who glared at it silently.

"Not going to tell me hmm?" Asked Caesar as he studied the machine his head tilting to one side.

"I have nothing to say to you. " Said Genesis looking annoyingly away from Caesar. He refused to say anything it could be taped. They could be watching right this second.

When the door opened once more it was to the Pawns of the Black Knight. Genesis went pale as they walked forwards. For a moment he was reminded of a picture he saw of death once. Every one of them had no soul. No life in them.

When one gripped each arm raising him up Genesis said nothing his head lowered as he walked hair hiding his eyes.

"The Black Knight wants to talk to this agent personally.." Said one of the Grunts looking at Caesar who was frowning.

"Fine, but after she's done with him I'd like him back as unharmed as possible. There's something off with this scan of him." Said Caesar tapping his instrument making Genesis close his eyes.

The man knew he knew and it was his fault. He couldn't protect the last speck he had of his loved one. Green eyes opened moving to look at the door. Freedom was there, was he strong enough to to break their grip?

It was cold hanging there metal chains bit into the exposed wrists as Genesis hung silently waiting for the woman to come. He'd refused to speak to the pawns not a word said since the cell and Caesar. That was an hour ago and as Black Knight swept into the room he hung silently damning her with those green eyes.

"Such Defiance you have in those eyes.. My son would love you I'm sure." Said The Black Knight sitting in a chair in front of him.

Genesis stared at her his eyes narrowed, but still not a word was said his mouth compressed into a thin line.

"Speak Genesis, surely you have something to say to me." said Black Knight her arms folding.

"..I have nothing to say to you other then he will return, and when he does he will stop you." Said Genesis his eyes closing his head lowering.

"I'm sure he will return won't he? If we have you he'll cooperate better then if we don't.. Aren't you his rose? His beloved companion?" Said Black Knight one hand reaching out towards red hair only to be met with icy green eyes and a glare.

"And what do you think he will say when he sees how I've been treated.." Said Genesis his mouth set in a line. Two could play this little game of hers.

He simply had to play it better then her.

For a moment she looked surprise before she spoke "I suppose the chains are a bit much aren't they?" She lowered him to the ground carefully releasing the lock on the chains letting them drop to the ground. Genesis stood silently before his mouth curved in a smile. "Thank you perhaps your not a complete fool after all.."

"I'm not a fool at all I'm just tired of being walked over." Said The Black Knight in a dry tone her arms folding.

"Then why on earth are you working for these people? All they will do is walk all over you.." asked Genesis looking curious.

"My son was part of Providence, I joined in the hopes he would not have to.." Said the Black Knight turning starting to walk quietly towards the door.

Genesis followed her after a moment walking behind her his eyes narrowed.

"He would be about your age possibly a bit older.. I've heard he had the prettiest green eyes not like yours brighter colored.." Said Black Knight in a moment of motherly bragging.

Genesis had to bite back a chuckle at this. She might be a odd one but even she had to brag over her child. For a moment Genesis wondered what was their child going to be like? Would they be like Rex? Would they be like him?

"Rex just radioed in for a pick up make sure he's greeted warmly.." Said Black Knight before she glared at the Pawns sending them on their ways.

Genesis stared quietly as he was brought to a room shown in and left alone. It was a few moments later when Caesar came in with fresh clothes. This was not his style but he'd wear them. He supposed most men would think him cute in them maybe..Perhaps a few women would as well.

"Your different aren't you?" Said Caesar his back to Genesis letting the younger male change clothes.

"I'm not that different.." Said Genesis cryptically his arms folding as he turned fully clothed.

"Sure your not, I know what your hiding.. Your pregnant aren't you? How?" Said Caesar looking curiously at him.

Genesis glared his eyes narrowing as he growled softly. "I don't know what your talking about! Leave me alone about it and go fix your toys!"

Harsh words and both of them knew it, but it was more then enough to get Caesar moving. Genesis didn't need questions asked he needed to get to Rex.

"Yea yea blah blah where's my friends?!" Said Rex as he walked past a door with the Black Knight.

"I'm afraid Rex they defected and left providence.." her finger slid down the wall pushing the hidden button to lock the door to Genesis's room. The click was heard by the red head who glared at the door before rushing to bang on it.

"Rex?! I'm here! Rex?!" Said Genesis loudly his fists banging on the door. This was no good at all he wouldn't hear him but maybe he could see something. One hand raised to his hair as he felt the door. There was an opening at the bottom of it he just prayed he wasn't too late.

"Did you hear something? I thought I heard banging.." Said Rex before the bottom of the door burst into bloom making the Generator snort. "So you gonna open that or am I gonna have to?" Said Rex looking mildly amused.

The Black Knight glared at the flowers as if they were the most repulsive things in the world before opening the door with her key card. Genesis growled at her before throwing his arms around Rex's neck tightly.

"Where were you?! Where did you go?!" Said Genesis his hands in Rex's hair his eyes tightly closed.

"Gen easy! I wasn't even gone more then an hour maybe two tops.." Said Rex looking oddly at Black Knight. Who simply smiled serenely back. "I think the shock of your disappearance drove him mad.." Said the woman before shaking her head. "We usually kept him locked up for his safety.."

Genesis stared his eyes wide as he shook his head. "No! I'm not crazy! Rex..You know me..I would never.." Genesis said looking scared.

"Gen it's ok, I believe you." Said Rex looking worriedly at Genesis who sighed slightly his eyes sinking closed.

"Thank you.." Genesis sighed slightly as Rex glared at the Black Knight.

"Yea we're going to be leaving now.. I'm taking him with me.." Said Rex turning starting to walk away an annoyed expression on his face.

"I'm afraid Rex we can't allow you to leave.." Said Caesar who had came up on them speaking holding a strange looking machine.

Genesis stared at it knowing without a doubt it was bad. One hand leaving Rex's neck going to his own hair before a single red rose stuck out of the end of the machine thrown with surprising accuracy. "No.. We're going.." Said Genesis his eyes opening as he worked his way from Rex's arms who raised one brow curiously.

"Your going to let us go, and your not going to hurt either one of us.." Said Genesis looking at Caesar dead in the eyes.

"Why would I do that? Your both out of control.." Said Caesar gripping the rose trying to pull it from the machine.

"..Because he's your brother and deep down you must know that stealing his will his voice is wrong!" Said Genesis as Rex took his hand squeezing it reassuringly.

"We are the children of the Nanite..WE have been given powers the world has never seen, we will not back down.. WE are the revolution this world desperately needs.." Said Genesis one hand clenching around Rex's hand tightly.

"We will not be denied by you or anyone else.. We will fight tooth and nail to save this world.. Even if we must protect it from people as stupid as them.." Said Genesis as a dark red glow formed around him. The glow brightened till it was like a living flame though it did not harm Rex who didn't even flinch.

"I agree with him, just try and stop us!" Said Rex before Caesar smiled sadly.

" You can't stop what's coming.. I'm sorry Rex.." Said Caesar having pulled the rose out fired the weapon at Rex, the person it struck though was Genesis who had moved in the way to protect Rex.

Oh it burned like fire through his mind making him grit his teeth. For a second he was afraid he broke Rex's hand before his eyes turned white.

"..Exodus...Help us.." Said Genesis his eyes fixed on the weapon Caesar carried.

'Give me a good reason...'

"I figured it out what you meant, we're the future not them aren't we? Are you willing to throw that future away for the sake of pride?!" Said Genesis surprising most of the people in the room.

'That's not good enough, the future is undecided and is ever changing Gin you know that..'

"Because he would have died for nothing if we become slaves.." Said Genesis fighting the mind control.

'..He would have wouldn't he? Your his legacy aren't you? Fine close your eyes...'

"Rex close your eyes..If you don't want to be blind do it.." Said Genesis closing his eyes as much as he didn't want to.

"What why?" Said Rex as Exodus shimmered an aura of power around himself appearing behind the two.

"Cause he told you to do it..Ungrateful brat..." Exodus huffed before looking at Caesar who was openly gawking at him.

"Black Knight how did he get in here?!" Said Caesar as Exodus smirked slyly his power surrounding Rex and Genesis before the three simply vanished.

"How did he manage to get in here?! I thought security was tight!" Said Caesar scanning the spot his brother was in moments before.

Exodus brought them to safety his head tilting as he snorted releasing the two from his energy. "Bunch of brats around here.. All like school kids breaking in where ever they please.. Should bust their toys up next time they come around my territory.."

"Exodus..Thank you.." Said Genesis hugging the other red head who raised one brow, one hand resting on Genesis's back golden eyes closing.

"...Don't get used to it, I won't save you again if you do something stupid you know? Hey Brat you better watch over him damn it.. I don't wanna have to keep showing up." Said Exodus giving Genesis a gentle push towards Rex who wrapped his arms around him. "I will.." Said Rex quietly.

"You see that Water Dam there in the distance? That's where we're headed, I can't bring us all in there it's protected by the good Doctor's little toys.. Makes for a nasty case of splitting headache for me.." Said Exodus starting to walk his hands in his pockets. Genesis was silent starting to walk behind Exodus Rex at his side.

"Can we trust him?" Asked Rex looking a little nervously at Exodus.

"He saved us didn't he? Exodus doesn't save anything without a reason..Maybe something happened to change his mind in the fight.." Said Genesis his head tilting.

"Maybe.." Said Rex trailing off as Exodus raised one hand holding up a key card to a door opening it. "In now and pipe down.. Don't wanna attract attention to this place.." Said Exodus leading the two in. For a while longer the two were in silence as he lead them in further the swords that swung towards Exodus were danced away from by the red head a smirk coming. "Tch you can move faster then that old man.." Said Exodus before coming to a stop off to the side.

"Exodus we told you not to go, what where you..." The good Doctor trailed off as she widened her eyes before throwing her arms around Rex's neck. "Rex! Your alive!"

"Um yea nice to see you too Doc.." Said Rex giving her a hug back as Genesis walked to Six who put one hand on the red head's hair.

"Welcome back Genesis.." Said Six his hand patting Genesis's head a couple of times before the green clad adult had his arms full of a crying teenager.

"Why didn't you come for me?! Any of you..." Asked Genesis looking upset at the two people he thought cared about him the most.

"Security was tight kid we couldn't even sneak a flea in unless it was on yours truly.." Said Bobo coming out from behind a console that was being installed. "Damn woman made it hell on all of us.." Continued Bobo before Genesis nodded slowly.

"But what about White is he alright? I heard the explosion from his office before the pawns grabbed me.." Said Genesis looking around. In such a place there would be no Nanite free office for White Knight but maybe the man's suit was alright.

"I'm fine Agent Genesis though you two stayed out longer then expected." Said The White Knight coming into the room holding a remote pressing a button a beep heard from Exodus's neck before the teen smirked slightly.

"Thanks pops for letting me off the leash can I go crash now for a while?" said Exodus before flopping on the couch arms behind his head.

It was ramshackle and kind of dirty, but Genesis didn't care it was in a way home. He was just happy to be out of that cell and back with friends like these.

Exodus raised one eyebrow as Six leaned whispering something in his ear. This made the Red head smirk one eye opening"Already old man? Jeeze again? I'm getting too old for this..." Said Exodus as he stood up after Six moved away. "Gonna run me ragged moving things for you.." Exodus said as the two walked away heading out to do work around the Dam.

Genesis and Rex where looked over by Holiday who gave them a clean bill of health.

"Physically your both fine though I'm a little worried about Genesis's imbalance of hormones.. It's not unlike what a pregnant woman would have and I'm a little confused on that." Said the Doctor as Genesis just shook his head slightly. "It's nothing to worry about Holiday it's just my Nanites I think. I'll be fine after a good nights sleep." Genesis said nodding his head reassuringly.

Holiday nodded before waving one hand. "Go on then I'm sure your both tired.." A smile given before she spoke again. "Welcome home boys.." With that she let them go.

Rex was silent following Genesis looking amusedly at the others back before getting a hold of one arm spinning and pinning the red head to the wall. "What are you hiding?" Said Rex his lips inches from Genesis's mouth who stared at those red eyes looking in his own.

"Wha? I'm not hiding anything.." Said Genesis looking surprised as Rex put one hand on his stomach fingers slinking into his shirt to touch warm skin.

"Your lying and I know you are.. I've seen a lot of scans but none like those..What are you hiding from them.." Said Rex his eyes narrowing just a touch.

"I, um, I don't know what your talking about.." Said Genesis his hand latching onto Rex's shoulder who blinked then smiled at him.

"Yes you do, You know what I'm talking about.." Said Rex leaning closer one knee nudging apart Genesis's legs who flushed slightly.

"Rex please, not here! What if someone sees!" Said Genesis his other hand latching onto Rex's arm as Rex leaned forwards.

"Tell me the truth then Gen.. What are you hiding." Said Rex his tongue darting out to lick Genesis's neck who bit his lip to keep from moaning his head tilting back.

"It could be anything.." Said Genesis trying to resist the heat curling in his toes.

"Gen is it serious?" Asked Rex the playfulness gone from his eyes concern showing in those dark red orbs.

Genesis shook his head a moment before he spoke "Rex I don't know how it happened but it did..I'm carrying your child.."

author's note: Whew this has been one odd little ride... I could not resist but I'm wondering what do the readers think? Should they keep the child? Will White Knight freak out on them? Drop a review and let me know if I'm doing ok, or if I should simply rewrite the last two chapters. Not everyone likes Mpreg and honestly I don't mind either way, but I know some people do. So readers let me know what's on your minds if you would please! Also if you'd like leave name suggestions if I end up keeping the idea I'll chose a name at random and I do mean random, a roll of the dice I promise no favoritism!
