We had decided to take a small boat out to the mini- island that was off of the main land since we had already spent all day running around town, and that wasn't much. When he got in the boat with me he asked for me to sit in the front so that he could handle the boat himself.

" And what exactly are you planning?", I asked as he layed his hand on the back of the boat.

With a smirk he summoned a motor and pulled the cord that started it up.

I rolled my eyes and pulled the bow from my hair and looked at the sky as the wind blew through my hair. Kamui turned a little red as I pulled off my jacket and layed it next to me, but it was so hot that I didn't care. We pulled up next to one other boat that was already on the island and he tied up the rope to the dock.

" Here.", he held out his hand but I grabbed the edge of one of the trunks of wood and pulled myself up. He looked around for a second like he sensed something but then shrugged it off and began to walk towards a small bridge that had a horribly bent over tree. I pulled at a piece of hair that had kept getting stuck in my mouth from where the hot winds had been blowing towards my back.

Kamui opened a shack door but I waited until he exited out of the other door before I went in.

The darkness was only broken by small slivers of light that came from between sticks and vines. It felt good and cold, unlike the outside. The water in the small pond to the left of the shack was also a plus. And the strangest part was that I felt like I had been here before.

" Wanna try this?"

I looked up from the bottom of the stairs where Kamui had a star shaped fruit in his left hand. I was hungry still and I was interested in how it tasted so I decided to take half. We both took a bite, swallowed , and then threw it into the ocean because it had a sweet start but after a few seconds it turned sour like a lime.

I stuck out my tounge, " Thats the last time I try something you want me to try!"

He agreed fully and leaned into the curve of the tree and breathed in the air.

" I wish I could stay here.", he said as his blue eyes turned upwards to look at the palms.

I pushed at a small hermit crab that was crawling around in the sand.

" I mean the people are nice, the air is clean ,and other than a playful fight there were not any other fights around."

I watched as the hermit crab dug into the ground and disappeared into the sand without a single trace.

" Honestly, I feel more at home here than anywhere else. And it's not like I got family to go to.", he said as he pushed up on the tree so he could look at me without straining his neck.

" Really? Do you not have family?", I asked casually.

He made a slight evil glare but it was so swift that I almost believed it had not even happened.

" A brother. Thats it."

I looked down and wondered what kind of person Kamui's brother could be.

" Hey!"

I looked back and he tossed me his silver ring.

" To use it just imagine the weapon of choice and then it will appear... sorry I can't say more but we got company.", he jumped down, " It's my brother..."

=Destiny Island+Komui=

I had noticed him about ten minutes ago but I waited before I went from the tree house to the beach so I could actually confirm it.

" Hey!", I said as I waved a hand in the air.

Kamui jumped up from where he was and landed on the sand infront of me. His blue eyes still shone his desires and hopes, and he still had mom's silver hair.

" Hello.", he said in a monotone voice as he balled his right hand into a fist. Blitz moved forwards but the black-haired girl moved first.

" Who are you?" , she asked in the same exact tone that Kamui had used.

I jerked my thumb at my partner, " He's Blitz, a former Commander now Mercenary, and im Komui."

Her eyes got big as she looked at Kamui and then back at me. I honestly don't look much like him. My left eye got cut by a piece of shrapnel so it's a robotic replacement, gray metallic with a glass center, my hair is a really dark gray compared to his lighter tone, and I got my father's green eyes. Also it doesn't help that we really haven't gotten along since I had to leave him with the tender care of a group of thugs that beat him into hating me for life. He still blames me for the guys who I betrayed and that they killed our parents.

"Yeah im his older bro." , I said as I pushed up on my glasses.

"...not..."

I looked at Kamui for a brief second.

"...never... You... You are not my brother!", he suddenly swung a large buster sword down where I had been only a few seconds earlier. Blitz went to draw but the girl had a large Gatling gun and was blowing away part of the beach with a spray of bullets. I pulled my arm band from my vets and pressed a light green button that sent a signal to my gummiship, sending my weapons down to me. Blitz must have noticed so as he ran through a door that lead to the other side of the island he pulled his band and pressed the same button.

I lifted my right hand as my military vest appeared. I pulled on the buckle and snapped it into place, while pulling one of my number of knives from my vest. I tossed in his direction but suddenly his weapon changed into a light sword and he deflected it. Using his speed he turned his dash into an attack using a lance to try and run me down. I just placed a hand on his weapon and used his force to push myself into the air and landed behind him.

" Gotcha!", he cried out as he pressed a button on his sword.

I heard ten other beeps from under me and an explosion of sand, crabs, and other unreasonable objects came flying out of the ground, sending me flying skywards. I used a small cyber-shield to block the debris but the shockwave was still painful.

" Man bro. Your serious today. What's got you to change?", I asked as I grabbed a vine in the large tree and pulled my decent to a stop.

He looked up at me and summoned a line of large beam cannons.

" Because I feel like I got someone to fight for." , he said as the beams tore into the tree. As I fell I got a good look at the fight on the other side of the island.

= Destiny Island+ Blitz=

I lifted my twin blasters and moved behind another tree as Noi pulled up a sword.

" How do you think that you can win if you are using a sword? You will never-", I fired another round, " Get close enough!"

She moved again, moving closer by using he trees as a base for cover. I had seen this style before so I just decided to cut her advance off by throwing a small bomb near the next tree she was going to jump behind.

" Better move back!", I tossed the circular bomb and it blew the tree away, along with a part of the sand.

While the sand and the smoke cleared I heard a rustle followed by a loud thump. I could figure that she was either going to attack from behind or from infront, so I decided to do something a little easier than waiting, I tossed two more bombs in either direction and she suddenly dropped from above. The explosions added to the cloud, but that didn't bother me that much considering I was trained to see in the darkness. Rolling to the left, I disappeared into the smoke and began to move up the side of a hill nearby. It was at that moment that my com-link began to beep loudly.

" Blitz we're out! Now!", said Ko as he grunted.

" Roger.", I grabbed my flashbangs and threw them into the air and ran to the other side of the island where Ko was.

His brother was standing on the tiny island watching me as I ran up to him.

" So?", I asked as I pulled my second pistol and aimed carefully for the door, " Where to now?"

" Anywhere but here.", he said as he pressed a yellow button on his buckler and suddenly we were in Ember.

I tossed my vest onto my chair and leaned back as Ko moved around to his chair and pulled out the first-aid kit.

=Destiny Island+Kamui=

I pulled off what was left of my tattered jacket and let it drop to the ground. Noi had yet to come back so after they left I opened to door and looked at the battlefield on the other side of the island. The craters and cut down trees were definite signs of battle...experienced battle...

"I was wondering if you were dead or something."

I turned and looked at Noi, who was propped up against a boulder. I grabbed her by the waist and put her right arm over my neck and began to walk her back to the boat.

" What's you and your brother's problem?", she asked as I pulled her up a pair of stairs.

" One to many asshole moves by him. He went to far and I can't...won't...accept him as my brother anymore.", I answered calmly as I lifted her up by her legs and walked across the cold water that was running past a row of old boards and broken pathways. She was pretty light so moving her around wasn't that hard.

" I think I understand...", she looked down as I opened the door to the shack and closed it behind me.

In the darkness, I could hear her heart beating as if she couldn't wait to leave here. I breathed outwards and then I waited before I opened the second door.

" Why are you so nervous around darkness...and around me?", I asked as I put her down and blocked the door with my back. The gold light was shrinking as nightfall had begun to replace the sunlight.

I heard her stop all movement all together.

" It's private."

I stiffed a snort, " Yeah, and I just didn't tell you all my private crap."

She looked up at me with blueish gray eyes, " It's not something i'd like to-"

" My ass.", I said abruptly.

The light had all but left...now we were in almost complete darkness.

"SHUT UP!", she said as tears began to run down her eyes...i could tell because I could hear them hitting the sand.

I bent over on one knee and placed a hand on her left shoulder.

"Just say it. It's better to say it then to let it build up.", I said as sat down crosslegged and placed a hand on my chin.

" It's just that..."

I watched Kamui say something up at the tower but the distance was too far and the words were lost to the wind. Noi hadn't came back but when I looked out the window for a second time I saw her get in Kamui's ship.

" Yen. Don't you think you went a little overboard?", Riku said as he closed the door behind him. Yen Sid was finishing his icecream.

" Not one bit, child. In this world he must learn to live for himself...", he said as he moved towards a book on his shelf.

I watched as he pulled another big book down and layed it out on the table.

" Now. I want you all to listen. Terra!", he tossed his ice cream stick at
Terra's head but missed because Terra fell forwards onto Aqua's shoulder...she shrugged her shoulder and he sat straight up.

" Who? What? When? Where?!", he said as his head jerked left and right at a rapid pace.

I pointed to Yen Sid and he made eye-contact.

" Ok. Now that you all are awake, there are still jobs for you all even though Neon was completely destroyed there are still various worlds that have their own individual problems. I ask that you don't abandon your jobs even though the Heartless/Nobodies have been quiet iver the past three months.", he said as he looked at us seriously.

Ventus yawned casually and Roxas copied him, " What a pain.", they said at the same time. Aqua and Namine both slapped them in the back of the head and told them to act mature.

" Exactly. As you grow more powerful, so will the darkness...and other powers.", Yen Sid said as he pulled his book into the center of the table, " These are a list of worlds that have been experiencing problems of late. I ask that you all handle these problems and report back to me."

I felt my eyes close some, but I just went with the casual answer, " Got it Old Man."

He glared at me but I just started out the door. Riku and Kairi followed me out and to my gummi-ship. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra were all moving out as well. Roxas, Namine, and Axel were sticking around for some reason but that's their problem.

" So Kairi do you have a copy of the list?", I asked as I took a seat in the Captain's chair.

" Yeah... and well... the first World is one called "Z". It looks like Japan...at least I think.", she said as she read over the rest of the list.

" Z?", asked Riku.

" I don't know."

" We'll just figure it out when we get there."

I pulled on the main throttle and we opened a warp gate.
