Epilogue - BPOV

I could not believe it. The day was finally here. Today was the day I was going to marry the love of my life, my other half and I could not be any more excited. I would belong to Jane in every single way, not that I already didn't but I was still excited at the prospect. And thanks to being a vampire no detail of the day would fade from my memory over time, nor would I ever forget the day that Jane had proposed to me.

Flashback – seven months before

"Yes" I had answered Jane in a barely audible whisper but when I saw her face light up with unrestrained joy I knew she had heard me.

"Yes?" Jane asked me back with an equally quiet whisper, her eyes gazing up at me as though I had just promised her the world and I laughed before nodding my head excessively. She slipped the ring onto my left ring finger before pocketing the little black box again.

"Yes Jane" I answered her again but before I had even finished she had me lifted into the air and I had never seen Jane as carefree as she was in this moment, happily smiling with no other worries as she celebrated this milestone in our relationship with me. Before I could even think she had pulled me back down and pushed me against the nearest tree. Her lips attacked my own and I felt myself moan deeply into the kiss, returning it whole heartedly. Needless to say we didn't get back to the castle until much later that day.

It has been seven months since Jane proposed to me outside the Volturi castle and in that time so much planning had been going on. I couldn't quite believe that we were marrying each other after only having known one another for two years but they were honestly the greatest and happiest two years of my life. Jane completed me in every way, she could read me like an open book and make me happy with nothing more than a look in my direction. Her eyes while bored and disinterested when looking at others always shone brightly with her love for me whenever our eyes landed on one another. She made me feel as though I was the only person in existence and the only person that mattered whenever I was around her.

A knock on the door broke me from my happy thoughts and I turned in my chair at the dressing table to face whoever it was.

"Come in" I called out and slowly the large, thick wooden door was pushed open to reveal Leah. She was dressed in a long, dark grey pencil skirt that fit her perfectly, hugging her hips and making already extremely long legs look longer. Flat, smart black shoes were on her feet, it wasn't like she needed the added height of heels after all. A white button up blouse showed off her curved waist and enhanced the swell of her breasts. A matching dark grey blazer jacket was over the top of her blouse. She looked incredibly smart and I smiled at the fact she was wearing a skirt even though like me she preferred a pair jeans or shorts. There was a slight touch of make-up adorning her features which I knew she would have fought tooth and nail against, if only Heidi or Chelsea knew the meaning of the word 'no'. Her cheeks had been highlighted with a light colouring of dark blush and her pink lips were coated with a very light red, standing out strikingly with the rest of her features. Her eyelashes were given a longer appearance thanks to the mascara put on them which gave her eyes a much more captivating look.

Leah took long strides towards me, coming to a rest at my side and smiling down at me with a huge grin across her darkened lips, showing her white teeth.

"Are you nervous?" She asked me in good humour, her voice a little lighter from it's usual dark velvet sound and I just beamed brightly in return. The only jitters I was feeling weren't because of any nervousness, they were from my utter excitement and slight impatience.

"Nope" I popped before continuing "Just excited. Like really, really excited. As in I want to run down the aisle excited" I babbled and Leah let out a chuckle at my antics.

"That's good, but please don't actually run down the aisle" She teased and I gave her a playful push in response. Leah held her hands up in a show a surrender. Our fun was cut short when the door opened and Heidi and Chelsea came blurring through the door, their hair and make-up finished but wearing their dressing gowns over their bodies instead of their dresses.

"No time for messing about you two, we only have four hours to get you looking perfect" Chelsea barked out before she pushed past Leah and over to me. The look on Leah's face was priceless as she collided forcefully into the polished, grey stone wall, a minuscule dent forming from the blow. Her dark brown eyes narrowed into fine slits, a burning fire raging inside them as she intensely glared at the smaller woman. I knew had I been human I would have found it comical how someone of Chelsea's small stature was able to barge their way past a person of Leah's towering size. Actual I still found it pretty damn funny but only because of the effect it had on Leah.

Leah growled lightly under her breath making Heidi give her the same treatment as Chelsea had.

"Oh lighten up doggy, you were in the way. E have a schedule to keep to you know. So how about instead of standing there like a useless tower you get over here and help us fix her hair and make-up" Heidi barked out before looking thoughtful for a moment.

"No wait you'd hinder more than help in that department. Why don't you go and help the other's setting up the throne room, I'm sure with your height you can help hang the decorations" Leah's eyes burned into Heidi but Heidi refused to back down and kept her own burgundy eyes locked straight onto Leah's brown ones.

I looked over to Chelsea who was standing to the side of me and we both shared a look of amusement before we looked back towards the pair in front of us. Now don't get me wrong Heidi and Leah or Leah and Chelsea for that matter all usually got on with one another or were at least polite with one another. But they occasionally rubbed one another the wrong way, especially when it came to their appearances. Leah was not a stereotypical girl and hated make-up, 'girly' clothes and having her hair styled. What was the point for her really when it would all be ruined when she shifted anyway. Heidi and Chelsea however fully believed in embracing femininity because it added to their already stunning appearance. So naturally their were clashes between them. Plus they loved to trade barbs and digs like others did pleasantries.

After what felt like hours Leah relented and stomped her way out of the doors, slamming them loudly behind her making Heidi laugh sultrily in her victory before turning towards me.

"Now then now that the puppy has been put outside we can begin" She smiled deviously and Chelsea giggled gleefully in tandem.

Heidi got to work quickly on my make-up, though why I was wearing any at all was beyond me. Vampires were given flawless features when they were transformed, our skin already smooth in appearance and touch. We possessed no blemishes or spots. And no amount of make-up was going to cover my scars, but I wouldn't want them covered either way. They were part of who I was now and Jane loved me just as strongly with them as she had without them. I knew in her eyes I was beautiful and that was all that mattered to me. I couldn't bring myself to care what others thought because they weren't important. And if anyone dared to voice their opinion and it contradicted Jane's I had no doubt they'd face the wrath of her gift. I was glad to find that the only make-up Heidi was putting on my face were eye-liner, eye- shadow and lipstick. Even then I think she was doing it just because she wanted too not because it was necessary. I couldn't see what she was doing, they'd turned my chair away from the mirror of the dressing table. Chelsea was currently adding light curls to my hair, judging from the curling irons I had seen her using and the fact that if she added tight curls I'd look ridiculous. They did not suit me at all.

I sat in my chair, statue still which was no longer uncomfortable as it would have been while human. It was now a natural state for my body to be in, fidgeting felt unnatural and weird whenever I tried. It seemed like vampires just didn't move unless they had too. In my opinion it's one of our top predator traits. Being still would make human's come nearer to us, draw them in as they wondered whether or not we were a very realistic looking statue or sculpture or whether we were actually people with the ability to stay very, very still. And if they touched our marble like skin they'd believe we weren't real and feel at ease, allowing us to easily pounce and capture a meal without any effort on our part.

"Isabella!" I snapped back into reality at the severely pissed off shouting of my name and lifted my eyes to look at a deeply annoyed Chelsea and Heidi. The pair stood before me with their hands on their hips and I would have laughed if it wasn't for their cold, icy stares.

"What?" I asked them equal parts confused and curious. They kept their hard looks and I knew I'd made them really angry by ignoring them, even if it was because I was off in my own little world inside my head.

"Do you want to get married today or not?!" Heidi barked at me and I growled in offence.

"Of course I do!" I snapped viciously at her and the pair rolled their eyes.

"Well it might be a good idea to go and get freaking dressed then!" Chelsea shouted and despite the fact that she had shouted it I heard the laughter in her voice and giggled in excitement, it was almost time for me to marry Jane!

Chelsea left the room and within five seconds had returned. In her arms she held a white dress cover that I knew inside contained my wedding dress. I've come a long way from being marriage-phobic because I'm almost shaking with the desire to put the dress on. Carefully Chelsea removed the cover and unveiled the dress, even though I had already seen the designs and tried it on beforehand.

"Ta da! What do you think?" Chelsea teased and I laughed along with the joke.

"Oh my god I love it! It looks the exact same as it did the last time I had it on" I laughed and Heidi stepped in between us.

"Okay, okay you two enough, we need to get the bride in the dress already otherwise we'll end up running late and poor Jane might think she's been stood up" She took the dress from Chelsea and I dropped my dressing robe, leaving me stood in my underwear. I took the dress and as carefully as I could stepped into it, then easily and gently pulled the dress up and when I had it in place, Heidi delicately fastened up the zip located at the side.

"Perfect" I heard her whisper into my ear, her small hands moved their way up to my face and covered my eyes. I felt Chelsea take hold of my hands and slowly turn me until I faced the direction she wanted me in, and by how far they turned me I guessed I was now facing the mirror of the vanity table.

Chelsea let go of my hands so I dropped them to my sides and I could already feel the softness of the fabric beneath my fingertips. Heidi lifted her hands from my eyes, allowing me to see and when I took sight of myself in the mirror I let out a dainty gasp.

The sheath form silhouette was fabulously fitted to my body. The sweetheart neckline accentuated my cleavage and was ruched with a Swarovski crystal band running underneath the bust. And the empire waistline showed off my hips. The back of the dress was scooped low, meaning my back was completely on display. Chelsea moved to stand in front of me, putting finishing touches on my hair and adding in some hairspray to keep it the way she wanted it too. When we were planning the wedding I had been asked on whether or not I wanted a veil or tiara but I refused. A veil would serve no purpose really, Jane already knew exactly what I looked like and with our vision the veil wouldn't really matter. As for the tiara they always seemed silly to me, a bride wasn't a princess and wearing one wouldn't make you one. Plus people then spent the entire time worrying whether the tiara had stayed in the right place. Heidi then came to stand in front of me and added a heart shaped sapphire pendant necklace around my neck.

"It was something I bought myself in the early 1900s so I thought I'd let you borrow it for the day but I do want it back. So you have something borrowed, something blue and something old all in one. I know I'm so thoughtful" She flipped her hair sarcastically and I laughed before wrapping my arms around her and pulling her in for a hug.

"Thanks Heidi" I let her go after a few seconds and Chelsea made a noise in protest.

"Oh no by all means forget about the work I've put in to your wedding" She folded her arms and I shook my head at her before pulling her into a hug as well.

"Thanks I guess Chels" She hugged me back and beamed.

"You're welcome"

I heard the sound of footsteps approaching echoing in the distance and I knew those heavy stomping feet belonged to no one other than Felix. After Felix saved had saved me during the battle with Shaun and his army of newborns Jane had finally, to Felix's delight and relief, given him the forgiveness he'd been asking for since Paul marred my face six months after my transformation. And because he had saved my life and because of the close friendship I formed with him during all of our training and sparring I asked Felix if he'd walk me down the aisle and to my joy he accepted in a heartbeat. The sound of his big galumphing steps drew nearer and nearer until I heard them come to a stop outside the room. A pounding knock resonated through the room and Chelsea shouted for him to come in. The door opened and Felix stepped in wearing his most formal Volturi uniform consisting of smart dark grey pants, his best dress shoes that had been perfectly polished to a fabulous shine, and he wore a black button up shirt with a matching tie an dark grey blazer over the top.

He looked towards me and smiled before her bowed and in response I curtseyed.

"You look absolutely breath-taking Isa" His deep gravel voice said to me.

"Thank Fe" He playfully glared and then extended his arm towards me.

"It's time to go ladies" I took his arm and linked mine with his. Chelsea and Heidi quickly walked in front of us and I found Leah waiting for me. Now that my three bridesmaids were all together we started walking towards the throne room where I would finally marry Jane.

Outside the grand doors to the throne room we came to a halt, I could hear the music playing softly inside and in the mix of all the scents I could still pick out Jane's with ease. The intoxicating smell of her almost sent me dizzy as I craved to be near her again. We hadn't seen one another in seven days thanks to the guard keeping us apart as per Aro's orders. I thought it was the night before but Aro felt because that would pass very quickly to vampires it should be a week and it was pure torture! Every minute away from her made my heart feel as though someone had wrapped an anchor around it and it was slowly sinking into despair. I was made to stand against the wall, allowing the doors to open without revealing my appearance as Heidi, Chelsea and Leah all walked inside and took their seats. A few minutes ticked agonisingly by before the doors opened again and Felix escorted me inside.

The room had been decorated with with gold, red and black. All colours of the Volturi. The light was provided by the multitude of candles all against the walls and the sunlight streaming in from the high up windows. The only people in attendance were the other members of the guard, all dressed in their formal wear, the colour of their clothes representative of their rank, much like the robes usually worn. The wives were also here which I was quite shocked to see. Not that I hadn't seen or spoken to them before but the occurrence were rare. They mainly spent their time together when not with their husbands and usually they were elsewhere in the castle. Aro was stood at the end of the aisle, smiling in his usual creepy way, his hands clasped together in front of him. Unsurprisingly Aro decided he would be the one to bless the marriage and neither Jane or myself saw fit to protest against it.

I looked to the left of Aro and there I saw her. The most beautiful creature in all of creation and she was standing at the other side of the seemingly endless aisle. Her long, blonde hair was cascading in waves around her face, making her look younger than when she had it tied behind her in it's usual tight bun. Now the sun touched strands were free and the need to run my hands through her hair was almost undeniable. Her perfectly sculpted face was shining with happiness, her pale porcelain skin begging to be stroked and touched. Her alluring red eyes captured my attention as they turned to me and zeroed in on my own, hers glowing with an enchanting delight as she unsubtly took in the sight of me. A magnificent smile took hold of her dazzling blood red lips, filled with pride and hints playfulness. Moving my gaze downwards, I took in the lavish clothing she was wearing. She stood in a black, satin looking dress that fell in a puddle at her feet, the whole way down to her legs the dress appeared to be clinging desperately to every curve of her body and I felt the venom pool in my mouth as I took it in. It's design was that of a mermaid silhouette and a band of rubies were accenting the waist line, I couldn't see the back of her dress but if if I had to hazard a guess I'd bet that unlike my own dress her dress had a back. The material ruched the silhouette completely, even the sweetheart neckline was ruched.

Around her shoulder sat an equally black cloak. The lining however was different than the ones she normally wore, it's colour was a deep burgundy red on the inside and stood in gentle contrast with the rest of her outfit. Overall she was a sight to behold. And if it wasn't for the tight grip Felix had on my arm I know I'd already be down the aisle and kissing Jane with everything I had. And judging by the sly twinkle in her eye now Jane was having a similar train of thought.

Keeping grip of Felix's arm we began walking down the aisle and towards Jane. The fluttering feeling I got in my stomach whenever around Jane returned full force and I grinned with what was about to happen. I was marrying the love of my eternity. As we came to a stop in front of Jane, Felix took the hand that I had linked through his and after kissing my knuckles he delicately placed my hand in Jane's then took his place beside Leah who leaned into his side.

Jane looked into my eyes, a genuine smile gracing her tantalising red lips. We turned together to face Aro who still wore his creepy smile. When Aro addressed the gathered guard Jane and I couldn't keep our eyes off of each other, I couldn't wait to get to the end and finally have Jane as my wife. Though neither of us were religious in any way and we already knew we were going to be together forever it was the symbolism of the thing that mattered. Even the kings were married to their wives. Not many vampires married so it set us apart from the majority and it showed that we were bound in every way possible.

In what felt like an eternity Aro finally turned to Jane and asked her to repeat her vows after he did. And the entire time Jane kept our eyes contact, looking deeply into my eyes as though she was seeing into my very soul.

"I, Jane Volturi, take you, Isabella Swan, as my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, for as ling as we both shall live" Jane vowed with pride in her voice and I practically swooned in front of the entire guard but I couldn't bring myself to care because the magnificent creature before was pledging herself to me.

Nodding with acceptance Aro then turned to me and asked me to repeat after him. So keeping with Jane's example I spoke clearly and with every emotion I was feeling.

"I, Isabella Swan, take you, Jane Volturi, as my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, for as ling as we both shall live"

When I finished my vows I was practically bouncing on the spot, knowing that in no time I would get to kiss my almost newly wed wife.

"I know pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss your bride" Aro finished up the ceremony and with vampire speed Jane had grabbed me and pulled me into a passionate lip lock. Her lips dominating my own, making me give in to her lead which I gladly did. The feel of her soft lips pressed hard into my own made my head swim in sea of bliss and created a phantom feeling of light headedness. The fluttering of butterflies in my stomach exploding into a feeling of a full blown flying swarm. I moaned into Jane's lips when she ran her teasing tongue along the seam of my lips, asking for entry even though I'd never dream of denying her. Even if I did she'd find a way to sneak inside.

The loud cheers of those around us seemed to fade into nothing more than an almost silent buzzing as we lost ourselves in the loving but lust filled kiss. A throat cleared to the side of us and reluctantly Jane and I pulled away from one another. We turned to look at Aro and said in synch.

"Sorry master" but Aro shook his head in amusement.

"That's all right but remember to wait until your honeymoon before engaging in any further activities" And although I should have been embarrassed I wasn't, I was too busy imagining what other activities Jane and I would be getting up to on our 3 month honeymoon to some of the countries I had always wanted to visit but never had the opportunity too as a human or on one of the countless missions we had been on since I became a member of the guard.

"Are you all right my dear wife?" Jane asked me, her silky voice light and jovial.

"Yes my lovely wife" I answered her, equally as happy as Jane was. There was nothing that could possibly ruin this day or this wondrous feeling of completion.

"Well I believe we need to start letting people congratulate us, don't you"? Jane pondered and I looked at her quizzically.

"Why the rush?" her eyes darkened at my question.

"Because the sooner we get this little reception over, the sooner we get on our honeymoon and onto those other activities" Jane said with her voice dripping with seduction and I grabbed her hand, dragging her to the nearest people, chanting in my head.

'Make nice now and make love later' God I couldn't wait for Jane and I to start our honeymoon.

Unknown POV

They wouldn't know what hit them. The arrogant Volturi guard, their kings and their new elite member. Every single one of them would pay for the pain and hurt they had ever put me through. The mere mention or thought of them sent me spiralling into a dangerous and deadly rage. My frozen heart consumed by the flames of my utter hatred of them.

I looked over to the group of dark, tanned young men with short cut black hair in front of me. The six of them stood shirtless showing of the well developed muscles, wearing khaki shorts that fell to their knees. Each wearing scruffy looking trainers on their feet. On their arms a tribal tattoo symbolising their heritage and the gift it had given them.

I could see the tremors coursing through them as I revealed myself to them.

"So do we have a deal?" Looking to one another they seemed to judge their expressions before they all turned to the tallest and biggest looking young man at the end of the line. Despite his appearance of looking twenty five, I knew by what I had been able to learn of their species he was probably much younger than that. His face held a grim expression and I watched as he visibly tensed with the exertion of trying to calm the shaking of his body, preventing himself from turning into his wolf form. It took him a couple of minutes but to my surprise he actually managed to suppress the tremors and he took a few paces away from his followers. He lifted one of his bulging arms and I took his hand in my, giving him three shakes.

"Deal" He said in a deep voice, his eyes as hard as his tone. I let out a cunning, dark chuckle as my lips curved almost unnaturally into a twisted grin.

I would get my revenge.
