Naruto ran towards neji with a look of rage on his face betraying how smug he was feeling inside because he knew that neji thought that it would be a quick and easy match, because he thought that because he was 'pissed off' he would be a horrible fighter. When he was near neji, he tried a palm strike to the heart, naruto noticed this and used the momentum of the attack to grab his arm and pull him towards his awaiting fist.

when naruto hit him neji roared in pain and anger breaking his mask of the calm and collected neji hyyuga and glared at naruto. Naruto just smirked and go into a stance that looked unfamiliar to neji, but he charged anyway. Naruto smirked as the first victim of his new fighting style that he made that was a combination of madara's and the senju's fighting styles.

neji ran forward intent on killing naruto, which he thought he could do easily because with these eyes he was invincible. neji then started on sealing all of naruto's tenjutsu points.

"2 palms"

"4 palms"

"12 palms"

"24 palms"

"64 palms" neji called out as he finished his clans feared 64 palm strike, neji watched as naruto fell on the ground was i cruel smirk on his face, That was quickly gone as 'naruto' poofed out of existence. After that neji was using his donuts to look all around him, just incase naruto tried to hit him from behind.

'He's not anywhere behind me, he isn't above me so that can only mean that he's-' nevi's thought was stopped as he felt naruto's fist hit him under the chin effectually launching him into the air where his clones were waiting and launched him farther into the air. The real naruto looked at him while making several hand signs and calling out the name of his jutsu, surprising the hokage:

Fire style: great fire annihilation naruto called out while blowing out the flames at the supposed genius of the hyugga clan, it would have killed him if he didn't use the rotation to block his attack if only barley, but naruto predicted this and launched himself up in the air thanks to a clan and launched a rasengan at his stomach and launched him back to earth.

for a moment everything was quiet until a few people started clapping and pretty soon everybody was cheering at the fight, even people who lost their bets were happy because of the good fight. Naruto walked upstairs towards the stunned rookie 6, who still looked surprised that he managed to defeat neji. but one person who wasn't surprised was sasuke's sister who was cheering him on the whole fight and knew that he would win. At first everything was silent between before sakura broke that peaceful silence by stating her opinion in her loud screeching voice.

"Baka how did you beat neji, and where did you get such a powerful jutsu, that power should belong to a genius like sasuke-kun and not some clan less baka" sakura screeched, not noticing the glares that she was getting.

"Stop calling naruto-kun a baka you screeching banshee" satsuki yelled at sakura and ignoring the looks of shock and the looks of jealousy (hinata and kiba).

"Wait did you say naruto- kun " shikamaru asked with a raised eyebrow. Satsuki blushed bright red when she realized her mistake but she refused to answer regardless of their constant questions.

Hokages stand

"Is sasuke here yet" the elder hokage asked the anbu next to him "I don't know hokage sama what should i tell genma?" "Tell him that if sasuke doesn't appear for his fight in five minutes then his fight should be canceled and the chunnin exams should go on" he replied and the anbu nodded and shushined away.

4 minutes and 55 seconds later

"1-" everyones counting was cut off as wind and leaves swirled around the center of the arena, then all of the leaves came together in a single twister in the middle of the arena and then dispersed, and there stood Sasuke and Kakashi, sasuke with a new darker version of his previous clothes and kakashi with the usual little orange book.

"Yo" kakashi said looking up from his book to look at the proctor "Are we late?" kakashi asked with a drawl even though they all knew that he didn't really care if he was late or not. "Almost" replied the proctor, then he looked to the crowd and yelled "Will garra come down to the arena to fight sasuke uchiha". then another twister of sand appeared and dissipated where garra now stood, he nodded to the proctor to start the match. sasuke smirked at him and knowing him he thought just because he was an uchiha he could beat anybody that stood in his way. They barley even noticed that the proctor started the match, but then garra smiled creepily in a way that promised pain. "Mother can tell that you are very strong, so your death will prove my existence so..." the cork of his gourd popped off and the sand quickly fell out and surrounded him " DIE" he yelled out while thrusting his hands forward, launching his sand towards sasuke. he dodged and ran to a spot that he thought was left unprotected by garra but was soon proved wrong when a wall of sand came to block him.

"I thought mother said that you were strong... this fight is not amusing for me or mother are you really this weak?" he asked him then he just smirked and disappeared in a flash of speed and reappeared behind garra, before the sand could react he landed a blow behind his head and quickly disappeared before he could even begin to block so he just started to rain blow apron blow on sasuke's body until garra managed to push him away and make a sphere of sand around him.

in the stands

"Kakashi did you teach lee's techniques to sasuke that is most unyouthful my eternal rival" screamed guy with lee with a crutch right next to him. Regardless of guys screaming he looked at him with a bored expression "I had to teach him lee's taijutsu style because he had to fight garra and i had to teach him something that would be effective on garra because of his sand." kakashi said. Then they all heard the chirping of birds and saw that sasuke had pierced garra's shield.

back on the arena floor

garra was shocked because the uchiha had managed to pass his defenses and even more surprising is that he'd managed to hit him in the arm where something red and warm was dripping out.. his blood "Blood... my blood ... you... you... MADE ME BLEED" garra roared through the defense then spikes came out to impale sasuke but he jumped out in time to not get impaled by the spikes but then an arm made of sand with blue markings went towards him and again jumped away in time. He heard an explosion behind him and was disoriented for a bit, but could see garra's teammates run off with him through the hole the sound ninjas made. he saw feathers falling from the sky.

in the stands

naruto watched as the civilians fell unconscious because of the genjutsu and realized that the invasion had started...
