The Final Battle Pt. 3! The End of the Chaos!

Logan and his crew—which consisted of Byakuya, Renji, Shuhei, Shinji, Soifon, and Yoruichi—waited in anticipation for the battle to start. They knew that they couldn't be impatient like Kenpachi Zaraki, lest they get caught in a trap. They also sensed that Ichigo and Rukia were on their way to St. Louis, but Logan could figure out from sensing the Spiritual Energies that something was amiss. "Something must've happened at Karakura Town, Captain. I can't sense Blur's Spiritual Signature anymore," he said to Byakuya.

Shuhei and Shinji were confused as to who he meant, but the others knew who he was talking about. "Then Yukon McSleez must've killed him. Did you get a good look at the man after you're battle with Crenshaw?" asked the Squad 6 Captain.

"Yeah I did, and he looks like the kind that makes his cyborgs do the dirty work, which means that he must've fired off some missiles from one of his ships." The group saw the said ships and noticed that the numbers dwindled down. "That's odd," Logan said. After a realization, he and Renji got a smirk on their faces. "Nice going, Ichigo."

The cyborgs descended down to the city and started wreaking havoc among the civilians. "I think it's time to alert McSleez to our presence," Byakuya said as he got out his Zanpakuto. "Scatter, Senbonzakura." As the blade broke out into smaller pieces, they went for a swarm of robots and shredded them to bits, something that McSleez took notice of.

He looked around and saw the source of the destruction. "Ah, so there are Soul Reapers everywhere on this planet, eh? Well, I'll have no problem taking you all out!" he exclaimed in a cocky manner. His maniacal laughter was cut short as a Chidori attack barely missed him. He looked and saw Logan holding his sword in his hand. "Oh it's you! I'll make you pay for what you did to my eardrums back at you're buddy's town, boy! And I've got just the bot for the job!"

"Hey, where do you think you're going, you Sleezeball!" Logan exclaimed as McSleez zoomed of on his hover platform. Before Byakuya could give him the order, the young Assassin was already off.

"He read my mind," the head of the Kuchiki Clan quipped.

"Never mind that, Captain Kuchiki! We could use a little help here!" Soifon yelled as she and Yoruichi were surrounded by cyborgs. Senbonzakura's blades surrounded them in a vortex, which shredded the mechanical monsters. After that was done, they saw that Shuhei, Renji, and Shinji were already in their Shikai states holding off their hordes.

"They've got this handled. C'mon, you two. Let's help the civilians while Logan's chasing down McSleez," Yoruichi said, getting a nod from her apprentices.

The civilians were on their feet running away from the cyborgs as fast as they could. Because of the crowd, the Soul Reapers took to the buildings. They guided the people out of the city and destroyed any and every cyborg that got in the way. Byakuya saw that they had everything under control, so he turned to Soifon. "Captain Soifon, go look for Logan. He might need the help," he ordered, getting a nod from the Stealth Force leader.

As Soifon made her way to her lover, she took a quick glimpse at what would be the scenery had McSleez not attacked. She saw a beautiful city with a look that rivalled the Seireitei and the closer districts of Rukon. She realized the chaos that Central 46 causes with the power that is bestowed upon them. Soifon knew she couldn't do anything about it, given that Central has their noses stuck so far up their asses that they could smell their lunch the minute it gets in their stomach. The least she could do however is pray and rethink the words she spoke to Ichigo during the Winter War.

She managed to catch up to Logan, but he was still chasing McSleez. Logan saw his girlfriend and smiled. He pointed to his back with his thumb, a sign meaning 'hop on'. Soifon got the clue and did that while they were still running. "Hold on tight, Shaolin," Logan said. Once she was secure, she gave him a nod. "Chidori…Overdrive!" he exclaimed. This boost of speed surprised Soifon initially, but given that he had used this technique before, she wasn't all that shocked. In fact, she actually liked going at this speed. In her opinion, he could rival at least Byakuya. Yoruichi and a Bankai-state Ichigo were a different story, though.

They caught up to Yukon McSleez, who was hovering over St. Louis' prime landmark. "He stopped," said Soifon. "What is that he's floating over, Logan?"

"That is the St. Louis Gateway Arch. It was built in the 19th Century to represent the connection of the East and the West. Why McSleez would want to try and use that is beyond me, though. It's just a landmark, a symbol," Logan explained. McSleez merely laughed at them for that statement.

"That's where you're wrong, dear boy! I've done some research on your landmarks and discovered that underneath this particular Arch is a special metal that allows for travel to vast areas in space! What I have here is a diamond that will open a gateway for a friend of mine that was too large to fit on the ships!" he exclaimed as he held the said diamond in his hand. A robotic claw came out, took the diamond, and placed it on top of the Arch, opening a portal like McSleez said.

Soon, two giant robotic arms came out and grabbed on to the landmark, followed by a giant mechanical leg, which smashed down into the ground. A giant head soon followed as the mechanized monster came out of the arch, destroying it and Logan's hideout in the process. The Assassin and the Soul Reaper looked up in awe. The former whistled at the sheer size of it. "This, my new adversaries, is the Super Destructo Golem 10000-MAXX, or as I like to call him, the 'Big Guns'!"

Logan looked down at what used to be his hideout under the cyborg's foot and shook his head. "Damn," he said.

"Don't tell me that you had a video game system in that place," said Soifon.

"No, but I did have a training course, a TV, and a super computer for my missions, among other things."

"Damn."

"What!? I bring a gigantic cyborg capable of leveling 5 cities at the same time to your world and you're worried about your hideout!?" McSleez asked, astonished that Logan and Soifon were not worried about the giant robot.

"Why should we worry about that bucket of bolts?! We're just going to scrap it! If anything, I'm actually more worried about the city!"

"Then this city will perish along with the rest of your pathetic world!" The cyborg pointed its cannons at the pair, who used Flash Step to get away. As the robot kept firing, Logan and Soifon kept dodging. Soifon jumped on one of its arms and ran up, getting her Zanpakuto ready. She didn't even see the arm that was going after her.

"Soifon, look out!" Logan exclaimed. It was too late, though; the cyborg already hit her hard and knocked her down. He Flash Stepped to her direction and caught her. As the Assassin landed, the cyborg charged up an energy blast from its eyes, only to get hit by a black blast. Logan and Soifon looked to see Ichigo and Rukia arriving. "It's about time."

"Sorry we're late. I guess you figured out about Blur?" Ichigo said, getting a nod from Logan. They all looked at McSleez and his robot. McSleez saw that his usual cyborgs were offline. "You're probably wondering why you can't call upon your cronies. As soon as I redirected your ships to the Gulf of Mexico, Rukia here froze the engines."

McSleez wasn't too happy with hearing the Substitute say that. "You stupid boy!" he exclaimed. "How am I supposed to leave the planet now when the 'Big Guns' destroys it?"

"I guess you won't! Oh yeah, and if anything is going to be destroyed, it's the giant there! I can just kill you!" Logan remarked.

"You'll have to get past him first!" The 'Big Guns' pointed its cannons at the four again.

"Rukia, Soifon's been hurt. I need you to take care of her, okay?" Logan asked, getting a nod from the Squad 13 Lieutenant. He then looked to Soifon. "You need to lay low until Ichigo and I destroy this thing, got it?"

"Got it, Logan. Good luck to both of you," Soifon said. She kissed Logan on the lips as Rukia did Ichigo. "Stay safe."

"I will."

"Aww, how touching! Too bad that you'll all die together!" McSleez stated.

"How much are you willing to bet on that?" Ichigo asked.

"How about the loser's life?"

"That sounds like a good wager to me, Ichigo. What do you think?" asked Logan, who was using a tone equivalent to that of a smart-ass.

"Same here. And I know who the loser is going to be." The duo charged at the cyborg, which fired shots from its arms. Logan dodged and went for the right leg as Ichigo went for the left. They cut the wires to prevent it from moving and ran up the legs, deflecting shots with their blades and cutting more wires to immobilize it even more. They got to the arms and, instead of simply cutting the wires on the left arm, Ichigo used a Getsuga to completely sever it.

Logan jumped off the cyborg's shoulder and electrified his sword. "Chidori Blade!" he exclaimed. The attack hit the robot square on the head as Ichigo got out of the way. The cyborg was destroyed and Logan saw a perfect opportunity to try something he always wanted to do. He sheathed his sword, dove down on McSleez, and tackled him out of his own platform. As they were falling, Logan got out the hidden blade on his right arm and stabbed it into McSleez' neck, which killed him during the free-fall.

They landed with the dead megalomaniac hitting the ground first, followed by the Assassin. "Well, that's that," he said.

Later, the remaining cyborgs were scrapped by the city officials. Ichigo and Logan saw the damage the cyborgs had done to the city and compared notes, coming to the conclusion that St. Louis' damage was worse than that of Karakura. They saw a Senkaimon open and within it were Toshiro, Rangiku, Nel, Bambietta, Halibel, Uryu, Cloak, Pitch, Orihime, and Chad. They were joined by Byakuya and the others. "Hey, guys, where're Ikkaku and Yumichika?" Ichigo asked.

"They had to report back to Captain Zaraki," said Toshiro. "It looks like you've got quite a mess here, Logan. We've retrieved Crenshaw's and Blur's bodies for you and Cloak to give them a proper burial."

"Thanks, Captain Hitsugaya. We'll be sure to do that," said Logan.

"What about McSleez? What did you do with him?" Cloak asked, getting a smirk from Logan and Ichigo.

"I killed him and threw him into the Mississippi River. The crocs and gators should be happy." Pitch roared in agreement. Cloak then saw the downcast look on Logan's face. "That win did cost me my hideout, though."

"That's okay, Logan. We'll have it repaired," a voice said. They looked and saw Bill Miles, Shaun Hastings, and Rebecca Crane standing on a small hill nearby. "I know how much that hideout meant to both you and your father. We'll have it rebuilt. In the meantime, we'll set you up in a hotel room that didn't get hit by the cyborgs." Bill gave him a brochure.

As Logan looked at it, he was shocked. "Bill, this has got to cost a lot. Are you sure about this?" he asked.

"That right there, my friend, is one of the best hotels in St. Louis. It's a Marriot Hotel. They're pet-friendly, have free Wi-Fi, and a nice pool you can relax in. You'll be staying in one of the suites until your hideout is fixed up. It'll take a while, though," said Shaun. Logan smiled at this.

"Thanks, guys, for everything."

"You deserve it," Byakuya said. "In fact, you all deserve a vacation after this ordeal."

"Thanks, Captain Kuchiki, but I'll pass," Cloak said. "I'd like to take a look around this planet and see what it has to offer. I want to see the new world I'll be protecting. Luckily, I'll have Pitch with me so I won't get bored." Again, Pitch roared in agreement before transforming into his motorcycle form. "I'll see you around," Cloak said after he got on. They watched as he rode off.

Logan looked at the others. "How about you guys? Care to join me at the hotel?" he asked.

"Sorry, Logan, but there is a load of paperwork on Rangiku's desk that she hasn't done yet," said Toshiro. "We've got to get back."

"I understand. What about the rest of you?"

"Lady Shihoin and Captain Soifon would love to join you, Logan. They've got nothing better to do," said Byakuya. Yoruichi and Soifon nodded in agreement.

"My dad's going to kill me if I don't get back anytime soon. Plus, I think Byakuya's going to wring my neck about something if he doesn't," said Ichigo.

"It's just a talk, Ichigo Kurosaki."

"Sure it is. I guess I'll see you around, Logan." Ichigo held his fist out. Logan saw this and smirked.

"Yeah, see ya," Logan said back, fist-pounding the Substitute in the meantime. Ichigo and Rukia were the last to disappear into the Senkaimon to the Soul Society, leaving the Assassins, Soifon, and Yoruichi behind. "C'mon, let's check out this suite." Logan, Soifon, and Yoruichi then headed for the Marriot that he was staying at, leaving behind them a smiling Shaun, Rebecca, and (surprisingly) Bill.

Okay, ladies and gents, not counting the 'Black Crescent' series, that was my first multi-chapter Bleach story. I don't know about you guys, but I like the way it turned out. I'm planning a crossover between Bleach and Street Fighter set around the same time as the SFIV series. It'll be a sequel to this story, so Logan's going to be in it. His new arch-rival is one I'm sure you could figure out.

Looking back, I think I put in more elements of Assassin's Creed than I was planning to. My bad. It still turned out to be a good story, though.
