"Brother…brother…Edward…Brother…" Alphonse shook Edward, as though he would, could wake him. Alphonse's body was falling apart literally and figuratively, pieces of metal falling, falling. He didn't hear his body falling apart. All he could hear was emptiness, there was no heartbeat, from his brothers body, no sound.

When Roy arived, he arived to late. To late. Alphonse raised his head from his brother only to glare, at the Colonel, Alphonse's eyes were like glowing coals, filled with hate. It is all his fault! If he never went to granny's then, then… "I hate you! I hate you! Leave us, leave us be!" Roy stood still watching them, the two brothers, bound by soul and blood. Alphonse felt something keen to floating, then he was gone drawn to the other world with his brother, who bound him and keep him alive.
