"Secrets, Secrets Are No Fun"

Courtney was a sucker for secrets. It made everything a million times more interesting. Ever since she was little, her go-to phrase had been "Secrets, secrets are no fun unless you share with everyone". However, she did not like to be the one with a secret, because Courtney Montgomery did not have a particularly good poker face. It was inevitable though, she would one day have a very big secret, and her mischievous boyfriend of six years knew exactly how to get her talk.

"Common, Court. I know you're hiding something."

"I don't know what you're talking about… Now if you don't mind, I'm trying to read."

"I'll find out what it is. You can't hide it from me forever…"

"Didn't you say you were going to make dinner?" She turned to look at the boy and he looked sheepish and almost ran to the kitchen.

"Are you going to tell me now?"

"This is great spaghetti. The sauce is just right…"

"Princess, what are you hiding?"

"Why do you think I'm hiding something?" She took a sip of her drink.

"Because you won't look me in the eye." She almost spit her drink out.

"That doesn't mean I'm hiding something…" She coughed and looked at the boy. "See? I'm looking you in the eye."

"You're full of shit, Court."

"Language."

"I'll figure it out." He took another bite.

"So, what's the secret?"

"It's bedtime, Duncan. We have work in the morning."

"Telling me what your hiding will only take a minute."

"But you bugging me won't. Go to sleep." She turned over and felt an arm wrap around her stomach.

"Come on, Princess. Secrets, secrets are no fun…"

"Are you two?" She giggled.

"What's so important that you won't tell me?" He kissed her shoulder and closed his eyes.

"Because I'll tell you when I feel like it."

"And when will that be?"

"When you stop bugging me, so cut it out."

"Fine. I'll stop…" He felt himself drifting off to sleep.

"Duncan, I'm pregnant."

His eyes snapped open.
