She couldn't think, she could only feel.

It was finally all over, all those years culminated into this one day. She had been on a emotional roller-coaster ride, that was now pulling back into the station. She wasn't sure how things would pan out from here. Could she have the family she has always dreamed of, now the darkness has been lifted. The grey cloud that shrouded her life was slowly dispersing. She could see the light streaming through. All through the last five years she had someone to support her and hold her when it became too much. She owes everything to that man, she owes him her life. She is sure her previous reckless ways would have got her killed. He brought her an inner peace for which she had craved for so long.

As the news tricked over the airwaves she crumpled against the car. He was soon there holding her up. His eyes where brimming with tears, a spark of joy glittered in his eyes. She felt the anger evaporate from within her soul. She had justice, she had an ending to the worse chapter of her life.

He would rot in jail while she was free to live her life to the full. She stood before the stone which is the link to her past. Tears trickle down her cheeks, she brushes them away with the back of her hand. A sob resonates through her chest, she doesn't even bite it back. She lets the sound vibrate through her lips. He comes behind her, wrapping his muscular arms around her waist. His head resting on her shoulder, his breath fanning across the delicate skin of her neck. She leans back into his touch, her hand coming up and back to caress his cheek. The stubble scouring gently across her finger tips. He presses a kiss to her pulse point and it sends a shiver down her spine.

She takes a breath before speaking...

"Mom it's over, we got him. He can't hurt anyone any more, I finally got the justice you deserve. I miss you more than ever, I miss your warm embrace, the smell of your perfume and most of all I miss your smile."

A sob escapes again, and his grip tightens. The tears flowing freely now, she continues...

"Mom this is Castle, he has been my saviour. He pulled me from the darkness that I let envelop me. He is my rock, when I am not strong. He is my everything."

Castle kisses her neck softly once again, before address the sight before him...

"Hello Mrs Beckett, I would have been a great pleasure of mine to have met you. You raised a wonderful daughter, you should be so proud. She is stubborn and hard willed but at the same time loving, kind, and beautiful. I would like to think that we would have got on well. Kate tells me that you read my books, I would have loved to have discussed them with you and got your ideas. You were a brave valiant woman for doing what you did for the wrong accused."

Beckett turns to him, takes his face in her hands and plants the sweetest kiss to his lips. She turns back, encouraging him to wrap his arms around her hands resting on her expanding stomach. She lifts her hand and something glints in the sun. He takes her hand in his and threads his fingers through hers.

"Mom we wanted you to be the first to know, we're having a baby girl. She is due in September. I wish you would be there to meet her but I know you will be there in spirit. We have picked out her name already, she will be called Johanna Elsie."
