Chapter 11: Find Her

A/N: So it's been forever. I can't apologize nearly enough. Nor will I give excuses because I'm sure you've heard them all. Anyway, I hope this chapter was worth the wait and I thank you for sticking with both me and this story. I can't promise frequent updates, which I know is ridiculous, but it's summer so let's hope the laziness and lack of inspiration don't keep me from the new chapters. So here it is. Finally. Enjoy. xoxo

Movement is what woke him.

And a body.

A very naked body, pressed up against his chest as the sun peeked through his slightly open curtains.

"We have to go to work."

He groaned into the blonde hair in front of him, snuggling closer as she started to laugh.

"Don't think cuddling will get you out of the back to back meetings you have today Mr. Queen. Finance has been waiting to walk you through his last months' reports for weeks now. Up we go."

He groaned again, his arms tightening.

"Oliver."

Tighter.

"Oooooliver."

Tighter.

"Oliver Jonas Queen."

Felicity turned underneath the blankets to face him and he pillowed her head under his arm.

"The meetings are important. Please."

He sighed, knowing he'd never say no to her, and nodded.

"Fine. But there better be some reward when we get home. Meetings are long, boring, and I always get a headache."

He smiled as she snorted and took the blanket with her as she got up, heading to the bathroom. Before the door shut, her head popped out.

"Oh and Oliver? You should probably wake up."

His eyes snapped open, a layer of sweat coating his bare torso. He inhaled slowly, the smell of Felicity's perfume still strong in the air around him. It had been like this since she disappeared. He'd dream of her and then wake up alone and even more determined to find her. But it had been weeks at this point. Detective Lance continually lent his help but could never offer leads. He had asked Sara to keep her ear close to the ground, wherever she was with Nyssa, but heard nothing back. Tommy, bless his soul, tried to be as useful as possible but just ended up stressing everyone out more with the scenarios he came up with as he paced the floor. He, Diggle, and Roy continued to try but it was like she had disappeared into thin air. Plus, no matter how hard he tried, he wasn't a tech genius. Whatever magic Felicity worked when she was in front of her computers truly only pertained to her. And with every passing hour, as much as he hated it, he became doubtful he'd ever see her again. The dreams were the only thing keeping him from complete madness. His days at QC were a blur, the temporary EA doing her best to make sure she took care of everything Felicity had left behind. His nights were spent in green, hunting the streets for any leads while Roy watched his back and Diggle handled the computers. Day and night. In and out. The same routine that yielded no results. No Felicity. Oliver didn't know how much more he could take.

"There's got to be something! Anything! The bastard must have left a trail somewhere!"

Oliver hit the sparring dummy as hard as he possibly could, and if it wasn't attached to the floor, it would've flown clear across the room. His breathing was heavy, his eyes closed, as he rested his forehead against the dummy. Roy was frowning off in a corner, jaw clenched as he crossed his arms. Diggle was busy at the computer, a pregnant Lyla calling in favors next to the case that held the Arrow's suit. Roy squared his shoulders and decided to take the risk, stepping onto the mat.

"Boss we'll find her. We will. Don't you give up."

Oliver's shoulders sagged, as he met his eyes.

"She'd tell me that. She'd look at me with so much determination and I knew I wouldn't be able to give up. For her. It was always for her. But she's not here and God kid, I don't know how much more of this I can take. Where the hell is she?"

Roy had never seen Oliver like this before. Never. And he never expected to either. But there he was, a man that was missing the other part of him that made him who he was. She was gone, they couldn't find her, and Roy could see now that without Felicity, both the Arrow and Oliver Queen would never be the same again. None of them would. She was their glue. The only bright thing left in the dark worlds they live in.

"I don't know where she is. But we are not stopping until she's back in front of her computers. I can promise you that."

He said nothing but Roy knew he understood. They'd keep trying. She was out there. They'd find her.

"Oliver? Roy? I think I may have found something!"

Both men were at Diggle's side suddenly, watching a red dot move across the screen.

"You found her?"

Diggle's shook his head, frowning, as his fingers flew across the keys.

"No, not Felicity. But I may have tracked down someone who can lead us to Luca Carmello. According to Sin, he's been seen handling Carmello's affairs in Starling. She was able to track a routine so we can corner him and find out where Felicity is. She just sent me the address of some bar downtown. He walked in a few minutes ago and if we hurry, we'll be able to catch him. His name's Leonel Cardova."

Diggle brought up his picture, a man in his late 20's with dark hair and a scar below his right eye staring back at them. Oliver memorized the photo, every inch of Leonel's face imbedded into his mind.

"Boss?"

He stood straight, eyeing the glass case where his suit was.

"Let's go. It's time Mr. Cardova met the Arrow."

A/N: There it is! A bit short I think but I really wanted to give you guys something (hence any mistakes you may find). I hope you enjoyed and I apologize again for the delay. I don't want to give an exact date for the next chapter, just know it'll be up as soon as I'm able. Thanks guys. xoxo
