Some of you have asked me questions, as I can't reply to you I'll do my best to answer them here.

Guest - Gaius is very good at keeping his thoughts to himself and not acting surprised, he has helped many with magic over the years and would have caused their capture and deaths if he couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Guest - do you know what chapters you saw the repeated words? If I see them I'll edit them thanks.

Faith - I wrote the story in the same way as the series was written, I do not speak or write old English and I don't think many others do either. I have read Le Morte De Arthur and really enjoyed it but I couldn't write like that sorry.

Guest - Merlin was seen in the modern world at the end of series 5 when the lorry passes him. In this story I gave him a reason to be in this modern world, he hadn't grown old waiting for Arthur to return. Merlin agrees to the quest given to him by the White Goddess to go to another world. That world that had lost it's magic was this world or one like it and Bella is a young modern woman.

Thank you to all who took them time to tell me how much you enjoyed this story, every time I see that someone liked my work I get a really nice warm fuzzy feeling.

As far as I'm aware they will never be a season 6 made for TV, I contacted shine to ask them but they never replied. I am just another fan of the show and have nothing to do with the TV production or the writers. I'd love to see them make a season 6 but sadly I don't think that will happen.

Leila pointed out some spelling mistakes, although I'm sure there are several I'm from the UK and we spell honor, color, and center, as honour, colour and centre.

Katie I have been going through and correcting the tenses, sorry about that, I hope to find and fix them all soon.

As for Morgana healing quickly that was dark magic from the sidhe, they don't want or need Morgana to heal properly just long enough for her to do their bidding. The elves performed surgery on Arthur to remove the shard and although they used magic to speed up the process they made him rest so his body could truly heal.

Denis - I'm glad you liked it. I am just a Merlin fan that was disappointed with the end of Merlin so decided to write my own ending. I have nothing to do with Merlin TV series so as I've said before I doubt it would ever be produced.

Guest - This is a fanfiction as far as I'm aware there are no plans to make a Merlin season 6.

Guest - Not sure if you have the right story as Arthur is not dreaming in this story.

Harry - As I've said this is a fanfiction it is unlikely that it would ever be produced as a film. The story is finished though it's over 200,000 words but chapter 91 is the end of the story.

Hi Essie, as far as I'm aware there will not be a season 6 and I've not heard anything different. If they do make another series I do hope the writer's find the enthusiasm they had for the characters back in the beginning.

Baby girl - Merlin and Freya may yet have a girl as she will be the White witch when Freya dies.

As I have said before I do not own the rights to the characters and have nothing to do with the production team. I did send an email to Shine TV but never heard back from them. I don't think they are interested in bringing Merlin back and if they did would probably go with the original writers.

Hi Guest, in chapter 85, just after King Odin left to go to Meredor, Merlin goes with Quinn and Galahad to make that room safe. They do find the nathair in that room and Merlin makes sure it stays sleeping until he has more time. I hope that clears that up.

Guest - I'm sorry you find it confusing, the dark goddess hates all mortals whether they have magic or not. She particularly hates those with magic as her sister gave them the gift and she doesn't think they deserve it. She proves this by manipulating mortals into hating each other in the hope they will bring about their own destruction. So she doesn't care who she influences whether it's someone like Uther who has great power as king, or someone like Morgana who has great power as a sorceress. As long as they do what she wants, which is for mortals to hate and kill each other.

biola - I'm glad you like it, it does get a bit emotional at times and I found those scenes really hard to write so I'm glad you liked them.

essie sauermann - I didn't want to upset the balance so I didn't bring Lancelot back, I thought I'd create new knights like Galahad instead. I have just seen your question, I don't live in South Africa, I live in the UK.

Judy - Yes I really loved Merlin and was so disappointed by the ending that I had to do something. There was so many unanswered questions and loads of loose ends. I've tried to answer some of them and tie up those loose ends as well as gining them a happy ending. I'm so glad you liked the ending.

Julie Ann - I would love to make it into a book but the rights tto the characters belong to the BBC and Shine TV and I doubt I would get permission. I did contact Shine TV but never heard back from them.

Essie Sauermann - As I told Julie Ann I don't have any rights to the characters so I can't make it into a book. I'm glad you are pleased Gwaine's back. As for Freya keep reading and you may be pleasantly surprised. Morgana will not be the only villain but I never thought they truly dealt with Morgana and Merlin as adversaries so I had to have a chance for them to face each other.

Joshua - I'm glad you liked the fight, did you ever doubt Arthur and Merlin? lol! The BBC ending was just daft, you don't become a legend if you just die. Legends are made when people do amazing deeds first.

Ambrosius - I replied to you privately but I'd like to say here to all those that think I have strayed from the legends. The TV series was only very loosely based on the Arthurian legends my own story reflects this. Alfred is named after Ygraine's father and I don't think Ygraine's family is documented in the legend's apart from the fact that she was married to Gorlois and had daughters with him. In fact Ygraine was not infertile and was the mother of Elaine, Morgause and Morgan le Fey. So although Arthur was Morgana's brother they shared a mother not a father.

I just wanted to let you all know that I was in London at the Harold Pinter Theatre on Sat 1st Feb to see Colin Morgan in Mojo. It was brilliant, Colin is a fantastic actor and it was great to see him on stage.

Author Notes – I'm in the process of updating the story, fixing typos and filling plot holes.

Most of the time the updating works out fine and there are no problems.

Occasionally though things go wrong and I find it easier to delete the chapter and upload it again. When this happens I think those that are following the story might be notified about a new chapter. Just ignore unless you want to read the new updated version. The changes I make should hopefully make the story easier to read but won't change the story line.

I will update this notice with the latest chapters to have been updated so you will know which ones to look at.

Elise as I can't reply to you privately I will reply here - Merlin reurned the crystal to the other world at the beginning of this story and helped to repair the balance. As Gaya explained in chapter 9 Kilgharrah was dying because the balance was threatened. Merlin does tell Arthur that he hopes by restoring the balance he will heal Kilgharrah in chapter 15.

Guest - Aithusa couldn't speak english but in my story she was able to call the Sidhe with her mind. She was able to make a noise as the Sarrum told Arthur her cries were more pitiful than Morgana's.
