After some thought, I decided to redo this story. With the addition of the Godzilla Mythos. I imagine some people have thoughts on that, possibly dismissive or angry ones. But that is how I want to do it, and that is how it will be.
With that in mind, here is the timeline for the universe. You don't need it for the original story, in fact it might be better not to read it if you want to read the new Hunters of Death. But I was hoping to get some thoughts on the over all timeline, make sure everything flows together well. A lot of this was based on Matt Frank's Godzilla Neo universe.

Pre-History
Unknown BCE
The Leviathans dominate the galaxy, enthralling every new sapient race they encounter and protecting them in return for tribute. The Leviathans consider themselves the galaxy's first and only apex race.
After observing that their subservient races create synthetic races who consistently and violently rebel, the Leviathans create an Intelligence to seek a way to permanently preserve organic life. The Intelligence constructs an army of "pawns" to gather genetic information throughout the galaxy.
The Intelligence betrays the Leviathans, using its pawns to slaughter them for their genetic material to create Harbinger, the first Reaper. Thus begins the cyclical harvest of the galaxy's intelligent organic life by the Reapers, part of a vast experiment conducted by the Intelligence to fulfill its mandate.
The Intelligence builds the mass relay network to increase the efficiency of the cycles, allowing galactic civilizations to develop faster and more consistently between harvests.

The Leviathan of Dis, a Reaper, is killed by the Leviathans. Its corpse comes to rest on the planet Jartar and remains undisturbed for nearly one billion years.
65,000,000 BCE
Earth is attacked by two different invading forces. The Precursors, a race of extradimensional beings with mastery over cloning and genetic manipulation, send an initial force of Kaiju, only for them to be destroyed after days of drawn out war. On investigating, they discover the presence of King Ghidorah. The Laughing Killer creates an extinction level event, and only by pulling back are the Precursors able to escape the kaiju's sadism. With no other targets, King Ghidorah flies into space.
Several species, most famously the Gojirasaurs, Angilasaurs, and Pterasaurs survive the attack, and continue their lives across the Earth.
Years Later
The Millenians arrive on Earth. They create the MEGANURA swarm. The resulting war against the Rodans forces the aliens into mass genetic memory hibernation.
37,000,000 BCE
An unknown spacefaring race fires a mass accelerator round at a Reaper near the planet Mnemosyne. The round penetrates the Reaper, disabling it, and continues moving through space, eventually striking the planetKlendagon and creating the geological feature there known as the Great Rift Valley.
298,000 BCE
The ancient arthenn race flourish in the Zelene system, living on the planet Helyme until being destroyed in an unknown event that wiped out all complex life on the planet. They also maintained a presence on other planets in the system including Epho, which bears the scars of an ancient orbital bombardment, and Gaelon, which may have been mined for helium-3.
125,000 BCE
Ancient spacefaring races called the thoi'han and inusannon fight over the planet Eingana, littering the planet with the debris of hundreds of starships. Refined element zero scattered by broken drive cores contaminates the environment, causing many native species to go extinct and those that survive to show a tendency to develop biotic powers.
78,000 BCE
The Elias, a race of tiny humanoids, arrive on Earth. BATTRA, the moth-like God of Vengeance, seeks to destroy them after they begin terraforming the planet, but is stopped by MOTHRA, the Goddess of Peace who defends the innocent. The war between Battra and Mothra changes the face of the planet. The Elias are all but destroyed in the aftermath. Mothra takes Moll and Lora under her wing as her priestesses. The tiny pair become the Shobijin, and become her friends, confidants, and allies.
Pre-Council Times (68,000 BCE - 500 BCE)
68,000 BCE
The Protheans achieve spaceflight and discover mass effect technology from the ruins of the extinct Inusannon. They go on to establish a galaxy-wide civilization linked by the mass relay network with the Citadel as their capital.
At some point, the Protheans encounter a hostile race of machine intelligences that endanger their existence. To combat this threat, the Protheans aggressively assimilate many other spacefaring organic races into their empire. The Prothean Empire is able to fend off the machines in a conflict known as the "Metacon War".
The Simeons, Mysterions, and Cryorg, alien races who refuse to stop using Artificial Intelligence, leave the Milky Way galaxy rather than be assimilated into the Prothean Empire.
48,000 BCE: Fall of the Protheans
The Prothean Empire collapses with the arrival of the Reapers through the Citadel. Although the Protheans had learned of the Reapers' existence from studying the ruins of previous civilizations and had begun to prepare, they were nonetheless caught off-guard. Over the next several centuries, the Protheans fight the Reapers system by system, world by world, and city by city. In the end, it is not enough. The Reapers methodically wipe out the remaining Protheans, as well as other contemporary races, and depart the galaxy to await the next cycle.
The Simeons, Mysterions, and Cryorg all hear of the disappearance of the Protheans, and begin their return.
13,000 BCE
The turians of Palaven begin to develop civilization around this time.
10,000 BCE
Atlantis and Mu, two island continents on Earth, are entering the final stages of their long war. An Atlantian scientist creates a multi-dimensional viewer, and sees images of another Atlantis, with a defender of their own creation named GAMERA. Inspired, the scientist creates the legendary guardian KING SHISA, later called King Caesar, out of minerals both mundane and magical. In an attempt to counter this, Mu calls on MANDA, the Dragon of Sea. Before the two beasts can attack each other in earnest, a new threat attacks, and the two are forced to work together. This threat is unnamed, but even Mothra came forth to aid the other two Kaiju. Atlantis and Mu sink into the sea, but the unnamed threat is forced to retreat. The survivors of both nations escape to Asia, South America, and Egypt.
Manda and King Shisa leave to slumber in peace, and Mothra returns to her home.
6000 BCE
Seeking to escape the imminent explosion of their sun, an alien race constructs an AI-managed starship equipped with supercomputers containing a virtual world, into which some one billion of the aliens transfer their consciousnesses. The starship begins a journey throughout the galaxy.
They are stopped by the Cryorg, and never heard from again. The Cryorg disappear for a time.
1900 BCE
Tuchanka, the krogan homeworld, enters the nuclear age. In a global conflict, weapons of mass destruction are released, triggering a nuclear winter. In the resulting devastation, krogan society devolves into a collection of warring clans.
1800 BCE
A supernova propels the Mu Relay, the only point of access to the remote Pangaea Expanse, out of position. Concealed somewhere in the dense nebula formed by the supernova, the relay's position is effectively lost for centuries. Later, the rachni rediscover the relay.
580 BCE
After developing faster-than-light spacefaring capabilities based upon Prothean technology, the asari begin to explore the mass relay network, and eventually discover the huge Citadel space station at a hub of many mass relays.
520 BCE
The salarians discover the Citadel and open diplomatic relations with the asari.
Council Era - Formation (500 BCE - 1 CE)
500 BCE: Founding of the Citadel Council
The legend of GOJIRA begins.
The Citadel Council is formed. The asari and salarians together colonize the Citadel and establish it as a center of the galactic community, led by the Council. This year is also known as 0 GS, the beginning of the Galactic Standard (GS) timeline.
As a gesture of openness with their new asari allies, the Salarian Unionopens the records of the League of One. Under threat, the League responds by assassinating every member of the Union's inner cabinet; Special Tasks Group operatives then hunt down and eliminate the League.
First contact is made with the volus. Eventually, the Citadel Council commissions the volus to draw up the Unified Banking Act, which establishes a standard galactic currency known as the credit and links all galactic economies.
The turian Unification War occurs. The increasingly isolated and xenophobic colonies on the frontiers of turian space go to war with each other. After years of fighting, the Turian Hierarchy sweeps in and pacifies the remaining factions. Animosity between turian colonies continues for decades.
The Council grants the volus the honor of being the first non-Council species with an embassy at the Citadel, rather than a Council seat.
First contact is made with the batarians. They are granted an embassy a century later.
The asari discover the elcor home system and help the elcor locate and activate their nearest mass relay. "Within one elcor lifetime" they establish a regular trade route to the Citadel and are granted an embassy.
First contact is made with the hanar and the quarians. Both races are later granted embassies.
Council Era - War and Rebellion (1 CE - 900 CE)
1 CE: The Rachni Wars
The rachni, a species of highly intelligent hive-minded insects, are discovered when a Citadel expedition opens a dormant mass relay leading to their star systems. The rachni prove to be hostile and begin a war with the rest of the galaxy. Negotiation with the rachni queens is impossible because they cannot be contacted in their underground nests on the toxic rachni worlds.
The Simeons take refuge on a garden planet, unknowing of the black hole on a path intersecting of their new home.
The Xillains begin space exploration. On discovering the burgeoning Council, they begin plans to conquer the Asari and Salarians, and begin looking for weapons to do just that. As the Rachni Wars begin, the Xillians begin working in secret, hiding their presence from the other species.
80 CE
The Rachni Wars continue. The salarians make first contact with and uplift the primitive krogan, manipulating them into acting as soldiers for the Citadel Council. The krogan prove able to survive the harsh environments of the rachni worlds and pursue the rachni into their nests, systematically eradicating queens and eggs.
300 CE
The rachni are declared extinct. In gratitude for their aid during the Rachni Wars, the Council rewards the krogan a new homeworld. Free of the harsh environment of Tuchanka, the krogan population explodes.
The Jade Empire begins.
300 - 700 CE
The krogan begin to expand exponentially, colonizing many new worlds. Growing concerns about their expansion lead to the founding of the Special Tactics and Reconnaissance branch of the Citadel.
693 CE
Beelo Gurji, a salarian operative, is appointed the first Spectre by the Citadel Council.
The Spirit Monk is born. The legendary figure brings peace to the Jade Empire.
700 CE: The Krogan Rebellions
Krogan warlords leverage veterans of the Rachni Wars to annex territory from other races in Citadel space. Eventually the Council demands withdrawal from the asari colony of Lusia, but the krogan refuse. A preemptive strike is made on krogan infrastructures by the Spectres. The Krogan Rebellions begin.
The Citadel Council makes first contact with the turians around this time and persuades them to aid in the war. After the krogan respond to the initial turian offensive by devastating turian colonies with weapons of mass destruction, the turians vow to stop the krogan from ever becoming a threat again.
Sometime after the turians join the galactic community, the volus are accepted as a client race of the Turian Hierarchy.
710 CE
Realizing that the krogan will never give in as long as they can replenish their fighters, the turians unleash a salarian-engineered bio-weapon known as the genophage on the krogan. The krogan population starts its decline.
800 CE
The Krogan Rebellions end, though scattered krogan insurgent actions continue for decades. The turians fill the military and peacekeeping niche left by the decimated krogan.
The Citadel Conventions are drawn up in the wake of the conflict.
The Mysterions return to the Milky Way in a state of crisis. The Prothean Empire, in an attempt to kill them for their beliefs, infected them with a genetic virus. The species becomes subject to rampant birth defects, mutations, and infection. In an attempt to save themselves, they begin a journey towards an inhabited planet to find new genetic material from fertile females.
Council Era - Expansion (900 CE - 2157 CE)
900 CE
The turians are granted a seat on the Citadel Council in recognition for their service in the Krogan Rebellions.
The Jade Empire dissolves, and the Spirit Monk disappears.
1400 CE
Extensive and unchecked industrial expansion on the drell homeworld Rakhana begins taking a significant toll on the planet's environment.
1600 CE
The first sightings of the Collectors are reported in the Terminus Systems. In Citadel space, the claims are dismissed as unsubstantiated rumors and tall tales.
1755 CE
Samara's three daughters are diagnosed as Ardat-Yakshi. Rila and Falere accept exile, but Morinth flees. Samara takes the oaths of the asari justicars and pursues her errant daughter for the next 430 years.
1880 CE
Aria T'Loak arrives on Omega, a space station in the Terminus Systems regarded as the region's nominal capital. Aria is hired by the station's warlord as an enforcer and quickly becomes one of his most trusted lieutenants.
1895 CE: The Geth War
The geth, machines created by the quarians as a source of cheap labor, become self-aware. Fearing a geth uprising, the quarians begin dismantling them. The geth revolt against their quarian masters. In the resulting conflict-known to the geth as the Morning War-the geth systematically drive the quarians from their own worlds. The surviving quarians are reduced to living as spacefaring nomads aboard the Migrant Fleet. Contrary to expectations, the geth do not venture outside the former quarian systems into wider Citadel space, instead isolating themselves from the rest of the galaxy behind the Perseus Veil. As punishment for creating the geth, the Citadel Council closes the quarian embassy on the Citadel.
1921 CE
The geth begin construction of a mega-structure designed to house and simultaneously run every geth program in existence. Completion of the mega-structure, which would allow the geth to maximize their collective processing capacity, is the long-term goal of geth civilization.
The Cryorgs appear, and attempt to take over the geth. A secret war begins in the Perseus Veil.
JULY 14TH, 1945 CE
The first atomic bomb test on Earth takes place.
1954 CE
GODZILLA I appears on Odo Island. After JSDF attacks it with depth charges, Godzilla retaliates and destroys most of Tokyo. Later, the creature is killed by the Oxygen Destroyer compound. The creature's skeleton is gradually salvaged and taken to a base in Tokyo (over the next several decades).
1955 CE
GODZILLA II appears, fights ANGUIRUS in Osaka. Godzilla wins, Anguirus comatose in Osaka River. Later, Godzilla is buried in an ice berg by fighter pilots, but is later dug out by Anguirus.
1956 CE
RODAN I and II appear along with first wave of MEGANURON swarm. Both Rodans are killed in the eruption of Mt. Aso. Meganuron swarm scattered. RODAN III (offspring) survived.
1960 CE
First expedition to Infant Island, first encounter with the Shobijin. Both girls are kidnapped by Clark Nelson, but later rescued by Prof. Shinichi Chujo. MOTHRA appears, marches across Japan, cocooning itself at Tokyo Tower, where she emerges as an imago. Flies to Rolisica, where she retrieves the Shobijin.
1961 CE
April 12: Yuri Gagarin aboard the Vostok 1 becomes the first human to travel in space. Humanity becomes a spacefaring race.
1962 CE
Godzilla reemerges and fights a recently discovered KING KONG. Kong beats Godzilla, seemingly at the cost of his own life.
The GOTENGO is developed.
1964 CE
Mothra's egg washes ashore in Southern Japan, and Happy Enterprises buys and puts the egg on display. GODZILLA II finally re-appears, combats Mothra and the Larvae twins. Godzilla is defeated and driven into the sea, and the larvae return to Infant Island.
1965 CE
Earth makes first contact with the Xillians. Astronauts Glen and Fuji make a trip to Planet X, where the natives suggest a compromise to remove Godzilla and Rodan from Earth to protect from future raids by a mysterious monster. In return, the "Miracle Drug" was given to Earth...though it all turned out to be a hoax.
The Xillians, having hid from the Council Races and their allies, had been studying Earth, and decided Earth's Kaiju would be the perfect weapon to begin their conquest. They take steps to hide the presence of Earth from the Council Races. At the same time, they call on the aid of an ancient evil.
Using mind-control waves, Godzilla and Rodan are turned loose on Earth as a test of their strength. Thanks to the Lady Guard tech and the aid of Miss Namikawa they are freed, but begin to fight one another, until the intervention of the Mothra larvae twins. KING GHIDORAH appears, somehow perhaps aiding the Xillians. The Earth kaiju band together to drive the space monster away, and the Xillians are defeated by the newly created GOTENGO I.
Some of the Xillians, refugees who had been unwilling to fight for philosophical reasons, are allowed to join the population as citizens of Earth. The Xillian technology left on Earth is taken in for reverse-engineering.
Tragically, Astronauts Glen and Fuji are killed.
1966 CE
The EARTH DEFENSE FORCE is established. Created by the United Nations, they use reverse-engineered Xillian technology to upgrade the Gotengo. Interestingly, no element-zero is involved in the making of the ship. Godzilla reportedly destroys a Red Bamboo base on Letchi Island. First appearance of EBIRAH.
After reports that the Red Bamboo have used the Xillians technology to control Ebirah, with plans to control other Kaiju, the EDF begins working on defenses against the technology.
Kaiju Emergency Alert System is established. Based on a numbering system, the system begins with TYPE1- Beast Class, TYPE2-Warrior Class, and TYPE3-Uber Class.
1969 CE
July 20: Apollo 11 lands on Luna. Neil Armstrong becomes the first human to walk on Luna, and the first human to walk on an astronomical object other than Earth and return alive and unharmed. While on Luna, Neil and Buzz Arnold leave a plaque.
For Glen and Fuji. May you forever be guide us across the stars.
1970 CE
First reports of the YOG phenomenon
1971 CE
HEDORAH appears and battles Godzilla to a standstill, until the creature is dehydrated by the JSDF and killed by Godzilla.
1972 CE
The Nebulans, a race of beings from a planet ravaged by pollution and war, and the Seatopians, left from the remains of Atlantis and Mu, begin an invasion, and an alliance is formed to conquer the surface. GIGAN and MEGALON appear, controlled by the Nebulans and Seatopians respectively, and battle with GODZILLA and ANGUIRUS at World Children's Land. JET JAGUAR and GOTENGO I defeat Nebulan forces aiding Megalon at the Godzilla Tower, and give Godzilla the time he needs to send Gigan packing.
1974 CE
The Simeon after realizing their new home in years from being destroyed by a black hole, decide to begin their bid for galactic conquest early. They head to Earth to begin their invasion, first wave. To do this, they create the mechanical monstrosity MECHA-GODZILLA, in the image of the most powerful Kaiju on Earth. Mecha-Godzilla and Godzilla do battle, Godzilla is defeated. Later, KING CAESAR awakens and aids Godzilla against Mecha-Godzilla. MG defeated.
The Simeons and the Earth Defense Force face off as the Kaiju's battle, with the EDF barely winning thanks to GOTENGO I destroying much of the enemy fleet.
King Caeser apparently sees potential in Godzilla. In later years, he is often seen with the younger Kaiju, possibly training or mentoring him.
The Simeons, seeing the strength of Godzilla and King Caeser, prepare to make another assault. The EDF begins reverse-engineering the Simeons technology.
1975 CE
MECHA-GODZILLA re-appears with Simeon in second wave. TITANOSAURUS and MG fight GODZILLA and KING CAESAR. Simeon forces largely defeated with the Gotengo and Jet Jaguar.
A large portion of the Simeons agree to simply remain on their world and allow the black hole to devour them. The rest are allowed to join Earth's populace, under the watchful eyes of the EDF.
1976 CE
Godzilla disappears from the map. Multiple sightings in the South Seas, however, attest to the creature's presence. The EDF prepares, but Kaiju as a threat disappear. Plans begin to cut funding for Anti-Kaiju defenses.
1980 CE
Aria T'Loak assumes control of Omega after defeating the space station's previous warlord in single combat. She mockingly bestows the title "Patriarch" on the broken krogan, and uses him as a reminder to her enemies of her power.
Hercules Hansen is born on November the 10th.
1984 CE
GODZILLA II rises from hibernation due to an erupting volcano. After attacking a nuclear sub and feeding off its power, Godzilla is attacked by a group of Soviet and US subs. He attacks Japan, and fights the GOTENGO, later dropped into Mt. Mihara.
Caitlin Lightcap is born on September the 5th.
1985 CE
Stacker Pentecost is born on December the 30th.
1986 CE
The Gage twins are born on September the 15th.
1989 CE
Aleksis Kaidonovsky is born on January the 31st.

Godzilla reemerges, BIOLLANTE is born. Godzilla fights Biollante and the Gotengo and is infected by the ANEB.

BATTRA's egg is discovered, hatches en-route to Japan. Battra and MOTHRA do battle, then fight Godzilla. Battra is killed.
Tendo Choi is born on May the 7th.
1993 CE
GODZILLA JUNIOR is born on Solgell Island. The Gimantids, KAMACURAS and KUMONGA are discovered.
1994 CE
An alien crystal anomaly appears on Birth Island, captures and takes Junior to Fukuoka. Uses Junior's DNA to become SPACE GODZILLA. SG fights Godzilla and MOGUERA. M is destroyed, Godzilla defeats Space G.
1995 CE
Godzilla becomes BURNING GODZILLA. DESTOROYAH is born. They fight, and the JSDF helps defeat Destoroyah. Godzilla goes into Meltdown. Junior mutates into GODZILLA III.
Yancy Becket is born on November the 7th.
1996 CE
PROJECT DT, PROJECT MG and PROJECT Y and put into effect.
MOTHRA fights DESGHIDORAH (aka "Death Ghidorah") in Hokkaido, and is defeated. Mothra Larvae pupates, drawing energy from the Tree of Life, and metamorphosizes, defeating Desghidorah. "Gigamass", a sentient energy force, is first discovered.
1997 CE
DAGAHRA appears and attacks several island towns in southern Japan. MOTHRA intervenes, but is badly beaten, until a small piece of sentient Gigamass, called "GHOGO" uses its power to revive her and Dagahra is beaten.
1998 CE
ZILLA appears in New York City, and subsequently killed by the Air Force. Later, "Zilla Jr." is found by Nick Tatopolous, a researcher of mutated Kaiju, and without G-Force's knowledge, raises the creature.
Raleigh Becket is born on December the 11th.
The Wei triplets are born on December the 24th
1999 CE
Monster Island is officially unveiled to the world.
The Millenian UFO is discovered and is energized by solar power. Seeking out GODZILLA III, they fight. Later they rematch in Shinjuku and ORGA is born, then beaten by Godzilla.
Zilla disappears from Tatopolous's HQ for several months, supposedly killed by the Army.
2000 CE
The drell make first contact with the hanar around this time. With their homeworld Rakhana severely depleted and no spaceflight capability, the drell were poised for a massive population crash by 2025 CE. Agreeing to help, the hanar mount a large-scale rescue operation and evacuate approximately 375,000 drell to their own homeworld, Kahje, over the following decade. The remaining 11 billion drell on Rakhana gradually perish, warring over the last reserves of food and water.
ZILLA is discovered and nearly killed. HEAT heads for Jamaica, and discover C-REX. Zilla reappears and destroys C-Rex. The team then heads for deep Central America, where they find EL GUSANO. Gusano is defeated by Zilla and captured by G-Force. Finally, HEAT heads for Alaska and finds KOMODITHRAX. The two stay in isolation under HEAT's protection. KAMOEBAS appears and fights the two. Komodithrax, the eggs, and Kamoebas presumed destroyed.
Zilla is taken to Monster Island.
2001 CE
Project DT is finalized. The first experiment brings back the MEGANURA swarm. Shibuya is flooded, and the Meganura steal Godzilla's energy to feed to MEGAGUIRUS. Megaguirus appears, fights Godzilla and Rodan in Tokyo.
2002 CE
The SCALE attack on Monster Island takes place. The terrorist organization is fought off, and the EDF begin plans to deal with the group.
The Simeon, Bale Grey, and a half-Xillian, Sam Arun, join the EDF, beginning the integration of aliens into the military organization.
2003 CE
KIRYU officially unveiled. Goes berserk after meeting Godzilla. The Shobijin implore that Godzilla I's bones be returned to the sea. Godzilla appears, looking for Kiryu, but is intercepted by Mothra. Kiryu, Mothra and Godzilla battle. Godzilla is defeated, but taken back to the sea by a "re-awakened" Kiryu.
Mako Mori is born on April the 23rd.
Chuck Hansen is born on August the 14th.
2004 CE
A new Godzilla (nicknamed "Ghost Godzilla") appears and rampages across Japan (somehow linked to Kiryu and Godzilla III). The Yamato Guardians, BARAGON, MANDA and VARAN, are awoken and fight Godzilla. Admiral Tachibana destroys him from within, rendering only the heart of Godzilla. The heart is taken to "Area G" in the South Pole for isolation.
2007 CE
The Crystal Incursion, an assault from the living crystal that made up Space Godzilla's form, begins. GODZILLA III reappears, and frees Monster Island from the effects of the crystals. He then fights OBSIDIUS in Seattle, moving on to NYC, where KRYSTALAK appears and fights the monster king. Krystalak's exploding core opens a wormhole, nearly bringing SPACE GODZILLA through, but is beaten back by Godzilla and the Gotengo.
2010 CE
The EDF as an organization faces massive budget cuts. Kiryu, Gotengo, and other defensive measures are stored in the artic. All attempts to reinvigorate the program are refused.
The Red Bamboo are stronger than ever…
2013 CE:
August 10, 2013 - August 15, First Attack - K-DAY
The breach opens.
San Francisco experiences a 7.1 earthquake.
San Francisco is attacked by the 'Breach Kaiju', "TRESPASSER".
The Golden Gate Bridge is destroyed.
RAF pilot Luna Pentecost is killed in the assault against the Trespasser.

Kaiceph attack hits Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A larval Mothra intercepts Kaiceph, and the two battle.

Jasper Schoenfeld comes up with the initial concept behind the Jaegers.[9]
Seoul, South Korea Conference commences on September the 14th. Jasper Schoenfeld presents his idea for the Jaeger to the EDF and United Nations. Intrigued by the possibility of robots similar to Jet Jaguar in speed, and unable to replicate the success of Kiryu, they agree to fund the project.
On September 31st, the former team members of HEAT are brought to Monster Island, where they reunite with Zilla. Now officially backed by the EDF, HEAT and Zilla become a monster killing force alongside Kiryu and Gotengo. Monster Island becomes HEAT's new base.
Nick Tatopolous begins contact with the Shobijin, and the young psychic MIKI SAEGUSA is moved to the HEAT Team. Tatopolous, Saegusa, and Zilla establish a strong link.
Construction of the Mark-1 prototype (Brawler Yukon) begins.
Caitlin Lightcap begins working on the concept behind the Pons, in an attempt to give Jaegers the responsive speed and reflexes necessary to combat Kaiju. Kiryu's systems are replicated, but the system doesn't respond well. Miki explains that the Godzilla bones within Kiryu may explain its extraordinary strength and speed despite the lack of a Pons system. Caitlin agrees.
Stacker Pentecost tests the Pons system.
Kodiak Island becomes the new testing ground for weapons to be implemented into the Jaegers, and vehicles to act as back-up. Maser cannons, tanks, jets, and other weaponry are all tested, with unmanned vehicles a must. Despite this emphasis on safety of military personal, the Gotengo, MOGUERA, and Kiryu, are all upgraded.
SCALE (Servants of Creatures Arriving Late to Earth), the pro-kaiju/terrorist organization, begins petitioning release for Anguirus, Rodan, and the other Kaiju on Monster Island. Without the guarantee of control afforded by Zilla's relationships with Nick and Miki, the EDF refuses. SCALE members are placed on the terror list after they absorb remnants of the Red Bamboo.
The EDF and SCALE begin a cold war behind the scenes of the world stage.
2015 CE
Brawler Yukon is finished. To test its capabilities against Kaiju, the EDF requests the help of HEAT and Zilla. Zilla agrees to a sparring match and meets his opponent before the match, taking a liking to the human.
During the test, USAF Captain Adam Casey dies from a seizure in an attempt to pilot Brawler Yukon. Zilla attempts to save him, but fails. SCALE uses the incident as proof of EDF incompetence.
Zilla, haunted by the incident, refuses to do another test until the bugs are removed from the Pons system.
On February 18th, Sergio D'onofrio attempts to pilot the Yukon; experiences seizures. Caitlin Lightcap successfully achieves the first Drift when she connects with Sergio in an attempt to save his life.
On February 25th, with the realization that multiple pilots makes the control of a Jaeger possible, Caitlin and Sergio have a sparring match with Zilla. The Yukon holds up well, and testing begins in earnest.
MOGUERA is upgraded with a Drift system.
On April 23rd, the Kaiju Karloff attacks Vancouver, Canada.
Brawler Yukon kills Karloff without the aid of allies, proving the Jaegers are a viable platform to defend the world with.

On November 25th, the Hong Kong Shatterdome is established. Defended by a fleet of maser cannons and tanks, the facility becomes the test bed for other facilities. Made to repair, outfit, and create Jaegers, it is the perfect position to defend against Breach Kaiju.

SCALE launches a massive assault on Monster Island, hell-bent on releasing the 'true' kaiju. Using Ebirah and Manda, both mind-controlled with Xillian technology, as well as military ships, they devastate the island. Anguirus and Rodan escape, but Scale is defeated and forced to retreat.
After curiosity over the unusual speed and maneuverability of the SCALE vehicles, reverse-engineering reveals the presence of a strange element powering the ships anti-gravity. Named 'Element-Zero' the strange material is brought in for study. No evidence shows where SCALE gained the element.
On May the 15th, Onibaba attacks Tokyo. Coyote Tango, in one of the first incidents of a pilot controlling a Jaeger by themselves, kills Onibaba. Stacker Pentocost is the famous pilot in question. A young Mako Mori becomes the iconic survivor of the incident.
Tamsin Sevier is diagnosed with cancer.
On December 25th, Anguirus is spotted off the coast of New Zealand. Unlike the Breach Kaiju, he makes no move to attack civilization, content to simply make a home for himself. This difference between true kaiju and breach kaiju becomes the driving force between studies on the various differences between the two, and the speculations for why.
2017 CE
More Jaegers, Gotengo-Class ships, and Shatterdomes are created to counter the Kaiju. Resources become an issue as Kaiju attack with growing frequency, and world hunger becomes a growing issue.
SCALE becomes a true threat, their stance on kaiju becoming religious in tone, and a task force of people is created to combat them, called the Rangers. Humans, Mutants, Psychics, Xillians, Pilots, and Simeons band together to fight the SCALE forces.
Three Kaiju attack Los Angeles. Gipsy Danger, piloted by the Becket brothers, deploys. Mothra appears in Los Angelos. Together, Mothra and Gipsy Danger kill all three Kaiju.
2019 CE
SCALE reveals they have obtained Jaegers of their own.
In a series of attacks, SCALE strikes South American nations, with plans to take the nations for their own. War breaks out across the southern continent.
Kiryu, Zilla, the original Gotengo, Mothra, and dozens of Jaegers from across the world, gather together to fight SCALE. HEAT and G-Force take on the soldiers on the ground. For four months, the battle causes death and destruction. Anguirus, Rodan, and Manda join in on the side of the EDF after SCALE invades their territory.
On August 23rd, G-Force captures a top lieutenant in SCALE. Miki Saegusa reads his mind, and discovers the location of the SCALE bases. While strategic strikes are launched across the world, Kiryu, Zilla, MOGUERA and the newly commissioned Mark-V Jaeger, Striker Eureka, are sent to the main base near Okinawa with the Gotengo II and members of HEAT and G-Force.
Gigan clones are discovered in the main base. While weaker than the original, the clones and SCALE Jaegers give the assault force trouble.
August 24th. SCALE has been dismantled. The leaders are dead, or under arrest. The Gigan clones are destroyed, and SCALE Jaegers are dismantled to repair or replace those damaged or destroyed by the SCALE War.
2020 CE
On February 29th, the TYPE2-Warrior Class Kaiju, Knifehead, emerges from the breach in Anchorage. Romeo Blue is deployed in Anchorage, but is unable to prevent Knifehead from crossing the ten mile mark.
Gipsy Danger is deployed from the Anchorage Shatterdome to defend the Miracle Mile. Yancy Becket is killed in battle against Knifehead. Gipsy Danger is severely damaged. Gipsy Danger kills Knifehead. Raleigh Becket is dismissed from the Earth Defense Forces.
On April 17th, the United Nations begin work to build the Anti-Kaiju Wall, despite strategic and statistical analysis saying the move is both a waste of resources and useless against both true and breach kaiju.
United Nations begins cutting funds to the Jaeger, Gotengo, and G-Force Programs. Nick Tatopolous calls the move 'boneheaded.'
Hannibal Chau, a black market kaiju organ dealer, is seen more and more often at Kaiju kill sites. Nick Tatopolous denies allegations of working with the man to fun the maintenance of Jaegers, Gotengo's, and Monster Island.

2025 CE: The End of the Breach War
On January 1st, Type2 Kaiju, Mutavore, breaks through Anti-Kaiju Wall. Mutavore killed by Striker Eureka. Stacker Pentecost recruits Raleigh Becket for breach assault.
On January 2nd,Raleigh Becket arrives at the Hong Kong Shatterdome. Zilla, HEAT, and G-Force arrive at the Shatterdome. Kiryu and MOGUERA arrive at the Shatterdome. Gotengo II arrives at the Shatterdome.
On January 3rd, pilot tryouts with Raleigh Becket begin proper.
On January 8th, Newton Geiszler drifts with a Kaiju brain. Type2 Leatherback, Otachi, Jax, Demand, Simurgh, Sandman, and Bohu, emerge from the breach and attack Hong Kong. Crimson Typhoon, Cherno Alpha, Striker Eureka, Kiryu, Gotengo, and Zilla are deployed. Mothra flies in from Infant Island to aid the EDF.

Type3 Kaiju, Slattern, emerges from the breach. It is the first breach kaiju to be in the class to be defined by kaiju like King Ghidorah, Space Godzilla, and Hedorah.

January 12th is named Jaeger Day. Zilla lives on Infant Island with his friend, Mothra. The true kaiju live in peace, most living on Monster Island, the rest situated in territories across the world. The EDF keeps on the lookout for reopenings of the Breach and attacks from other invasions.
Raliegh Becket, Mako Mori, Nick Tatopolous, Miki Saegusa, and Hercules Hansen all attend a ceremony celebrating the end of the war.
Space exploration begins in earnest in an attempt to discover new resources.

No reports of Godzilla are filed. The King of Monsters is presumed dead.
Arenas are built to facilitate Jaeger on Jaeger combat. The first arena opens with Zilla and Kiryu as the main event, the two titans battling for fun. The opening is a success, and Jaeger Battles become a popular sporting event.
A Xillian woman, Jane Allwill, becomes the leader of the Earth Defense Force. Allwill jokingly said, "My ancestors would be ashamed. But hey, they're dead, and I'm piloting badass robots."
2125 CE
The yahg, an intelligent pre-spaceflight race, are discovered on the planet Parnack. Ambassadors representing the Citadel Council arrive on the planet and attempt to open diplomatic contact. After the ambassadors are killed by the predatory yahg, the Council ceases all contact with the yahg and declares Parnack off-limits.
Not long after the yahg are discovered, one yahg is captured for the Shadow Broker to study. With the Broker's assistance, the yahg rapidly ascends within the Broker's organization as "Operative Kechlu". Eventually, the Broker becomes wary of "Operative Kechlu" and attempts to have him terminated, but the order is sent too late. The yahg assumes the mantle of the Shadow Broker and directs the organization for the next twenty years.
After obtaining the records on planet Earth, the new Shadow Broker becomes interested, and sends operatives to pick up a specimen. Two years later, the Shadow Broker Base disconnects from its operatives before coming back online and requesting a report from all operatives by the end of the day.

2140 CE: Humanity Discovers Mass Effect Physics
Humanity discovers a small cache of highly advanced Prothean technology hidden deep beneath the surface of Mars on the south polar region of Promethei Planum.
Building on the remnants of this long extinct race, as well as the science of the Xillians and Simeons, and the research of SCALE, humans quickly explore the science of mass effect fields, leading to the development of more efficient faster than light travel and new advancements in Jaeger development. A new age in space exploration begins.
2146 CE
Thane Krios is born.
Following information from the translated data cache on Mars, humans discover that Charon, Pluto's moon, is actually a massive piece of dormant Prothean technology, a mass relay, encased in ice. Once activated, Jon Grissom leads the first team of explorers through the relay, which instantaneously transports them to another relay in Arcturus, 36 light-years away. The explorers discover that the mass relays are part of a vast network, making travel across the galaxy possible.
The Earth Defense Force Navy charter is signed by the largest nations on Earth. The EDF Navy soon becomes the military and exploratory spearhead of Earth.
To defend its expanding territory, humanity and their allies begin constructing a massive military fleet and space station at Arcturus, the nexus of several key mass relays. Thanks to the various invasions of Earth, with many earthlings descended from the invaders, it is well-known that an attack can come at any time.
2147 CE
The Systems Alliance begins the first surveys for colonization prospects outside the Sol System. One of these surveys discovers the planet Terra Nova.
2150 CE

2151 CE
The Breach reopens in the Indian Sea. With knowledge of how to close it, a full contingent of EDF forces, spearheaded by Jaegers, head towards the Breach. For three days, Type3 Kaiju and Mark VI Jaegers battle over the Indian Sea Breach. On the second day, another Breach opens a few miles off Monster Island. Anguirus, Rodan, Mothra, Zilla, and Kiryu rise to defend the island.
Both Breaches are closed. During the incident, Rodan is exposed to massive amounts of element zero dust, and is later seen practicing with newfound abilities. No reports are made on if Anguirus and Zilla obtained similar abilities.
30% of children living on the borders of the Indian Sea later develop cancerous growths from exposure to waters where Jaegers were destroyed. Others obtain biotic potential.
Kaidan Alenko is born later that year with biotic potential.
2152 CE
The Delta Pavonis Foundation, a major consortium based on Earth, begins settlement of humanity's first extra-solar colony world, the planet Demeter. Later that year, additional colonies are founded on Eden Prime, Planet X2, and Terra Nova.

Saren Arterius is promoted to active service in the turian military at the age of 16.
Arcturus Station is formally inaugurated, and becomes the new headquarters for the Earth Defense Force.
Jeff "Joker" Moreau is born.
More children exposed to element zero exhibit minor telekinetic abilities. After initially confusing this for a new growth of psychic abilities, these children are taken under the wing of older mutants, psychics, and other users of supernatural ability. Programs are put in place to protect the children.
Pluto's orbit becomes circularized as a result of mass relay operations.

G-Force finishes construction of schools on Earth and the colonies, dedicated to training children and teens of all species in possession of certain skills.
The first experimental L1 biotic implants are used in humans.
David Anderson is taken in under Jane Allwill's wing as a student and protégé. He becomes one of the first members of the Earth Defense Force and G-Forces elite military school. The N8 Program is born.
2157 CE

Council Era- Advent of Humanity (2158 CE)
Humanity makes peaceful contact with another spacefaring race: the elcor. The elcor observe earthling explorers attempting to activate a dormant mass relay, a practice forbidden by galactic law after the Rachni Wars, and politely inform the earthlings of their mistake. The two groups begin discussions.
Information about Earth begins to circulate the galaxy. The concept of a planet ravaged by alien invasions, psychics, monsters in direct violation of the square-cube law, and even dimensional attacks, is called a hoax or outright lie by much of the scientific community. The Citadel Council steps in to discuss Earth's newfound place in the galaxy as the year comes to a close. Earthlings and Elcor sign a treaty, and begin peaceful trading.
On April 14th, the same day her grandfather facilitates the peace between the two nations, Ashley Williams is born.
2159 CE
Saren Arterius becomes the youngest turian to be inducted into the Spectres.
King Ghidorah attacks Palaven. The Tyrant Kaiju kills millions over the course of fourteen days. The EDF sends a response team of Gotengos, Jaegers, and the now legendary mech, Kiryu. The Elcor join the EDF at the halfway point to Palaven, and the massive fleet begins the journey. Unbeknownst to the EDF, the Shojibin hear of the death and destruction being inflicted on innocents, and make a plea to Mothra.
On the fourteenth day of Ghidorah's assault, the Palaven Fleet and EDF Fleet make a stand together. The Laughing Kaiju is killed, but not before being responsible for one of the greatest attacks every inflicted on the galaxy by a single being.
A Salarian Dalatrass later accuses Earth of sending the Kaiju.
SCALE, or a group attempting to use their legacy, claims credit for the attack. The EDF and Palaven declare SCALE a galactic threat, and G-Force begins preparing for war once again.
On the earthling colony Shanxi, an alien artifact called the Arca Monolith is stolen in an impossible fashion. SCALE once again is accused of the event, and does not deny responsibility.
On September the 25th, the Arca Monolith is found at a SCALE base. It is destroyed by the joint effort of the EDF, Palaven, and Elcor militaries, after it is found that the artifact had a horrific effect on the minds of sapient beings.
The EDF purchases Gagarin Station for a fraction of its construction cost, and converts the facility into a research and training facility for the Earth and her allies. A contingent of soldiers from the turian and elcor militaries are invited. Talks of another treaty, between Palaven and Earth, take place.
Generals in the Turian Military request permission to study Jaegers and the Kaiju living on Monster Island. After much debate, the EDF allows it, with the stipulation that all research goes though them.
2160 CE
Kasumi Goto is born. Much of the toys in the nursery are later found in her crib, having gotten there through unknown means.
The Genetics Committee refuses petitions to allow study into the practice of fusing Kaiju DNA with that of other species. The practice, called 'Mutating' is called an act of torture, as the children made by such practices often die early, and in pain.
SCALE assassinates the committee members that voted against the practice. The triggermen are caught and arrested, but the planners are never found. The practice of Mutating remains illegal.
On August 19th, King Caeser returns, appearing at Monster Island. The ancient guardian makes no attack, simply standing on the shore. When phychics are brought in, it is revealed the Kaiju wants to speak with Rodan.
The now biotic-pteradon agrees to the meeting. The two are seen speaking on the shoreline. After a full hour, both inform EDF of their plans to leave on a training trip. Years later, scattered reports of the two Kaiju tell of King Caeser teaching Rodan, as he did Godzilla before him.
2161 CE
Tali'Zorah nar Rayya is born.
Jack is born.
A series of starship drive failures are orchestrated by SCALE over populated areas on human colony worlds, causing widespread exposures to element zero. This results in a second generation of humans born with biotic potential. G-Force begins plans to prevent the kidnapping of those with biotic, psychic, or mutation potentials.
Anguirus is one of those affected by the exposure event. Two months later, he disappears, followed by Zilla.
May 25: The King Returns
Hannah Shepard takes the Shepard Twins to Hong Kong. Urdnot Wrex visits Earth on vacation after a job.
Another Breach opens, this one off the coast of Hong Kong. Rather than a Breach Kaiju, a familiar beast appears. SpaceGodzilla.
The crystal titan attacks, and parts of Hong Kong are turned into a crystal landscape. Millions are killed. Jaegers attempt to fight the beast, only to be destroyed. The Hong Kong Shatterdome is completely destroyed, and SpaceGodzilla creates a base in the remains.
A call is sent out, and a fleet makes its way to Hong Kong. While en-route, another message reaches the fleet.
"Gojira has returned."
The King of Monsters, gone for hundreds of years, rises from the ocean.
At the same time, desperate for hope, two Jaeger pilots head for the nearby museum. Samwise Gamson, a human, and Frada Bindo, a Xillian/Simeon woman, steal the functional replica of the Jaeger that once saved the world.
Gipsy Danger II bursts out of the museum to attack SpaceGodzilla.
Godzilla and Gipsy Danger battle SpaceGodzilla in the crystal landscape that was once Hong Kong. The beast flies across the landscape, blasting the two titans. Godzilla replies with blasts of radioactive power, while Gipsy Danger attacks with maser cannons and swords.
As the battle unfolds, evacuations begin. Hannah and her son are separated from her daughter, and forced to evacuate by EDF personal. Her daughter is caught in the crossfire and presumed dead. Instead, she sustains a head injury, losing her memories, and is saved by Urdnot Wrex.
SpaceGodzilla, in a exact copy of his last assault, prepares to pull the Earth into a black hole. The fleet arrives. With the combined power of Godzilla, Gipsy Danger II, and the EDF fleet, they kill SpaceGodzilla.
Hannah Shepard and her son leave Earth. Urdnot Wrex, curious about the young human girl he's picked up, takes her with him to try and find her family.
Both Shepard Twins receives secondary exposure to element zero during the battle. Permanent biotic inclination manifests. One is especially effected by the psychic waves of SpaceGodzilla.

A survey team working for batarian entrepreneur Edan Had'dah discovers a mysterious artifact orbiting an unnamed planet near the Perseus Veil.

The Leviathan of Dis, a genetically-engineered living starship believed to be nearly a billion years old, is discovered by a batarian survey team on the planet Jartar. The Leviathan disappears under dubious circumstances after a batarian dreadnought passes through the Dis system.
SCALES continued attacks on both Earth and Council planets jeopardize efforts to establish an embassy on the Citadel.
The Embassy for Earth is eventually allowed, and Earth gains access to dozens of schematics on different technological breakthroughs. Coincidently, the Salarians get permission to study Kaiju samples, maser cannons, and two Jaeger with installed Pons systems.
L2 biotic implants are first developed and used in humans. Kaidan Alenko is among the first to receive the new implants.
At the same time, tensions begin to grow between earthlings and batarians as both begin to establish territory in the Skyllian Verge. The batarians constant claims of the necessity of slavery in their culture further damages relations.
Edan Had'dah hires SCALE researcher Dr. Shu Qian to conduct illegal AI research and unlock the secrets behind a mysterious artifact discovered near the Perseus Veil. Eventually, Anderson is assigned to work with Saren Arterius to track down Dr. Qian and his batarian supporter, Edan Had'dah. The mission is a success, however Saren disappears for a week afterwards. Dr. Qian and Had'dah later die under mysterious circumstances.
Kahlee Sanders and David Anderson go to Earth, and join in on a project to build a new starship, joint produced by the EDF, Palaven, and Elcor military and research divisions.
Antimatter is later stolen by SCALE from a top secret research facility. Saren Arterius reappears, and work to take down the SCALE cell. It is noted that he now has several injuries that apparently needed cybernetic replacements.
After a disagreement between Vido Santiago and Zaeed Massani over hiring batarians into the Blue Suns, Vido betrays Zaeed and leaves him for dead. All records of Zaeed's involvement in the Blue Suns are erased.
Jack is abducted by SCALE agents on Terra Nova. They fake her death and take her to the Teltin Facility on Pragia as part of a project intended to improve psychic and biotic potential in humans.
2167 CE
The magazine Fornax is launched. The galaxy rejoices.
2170 CE
The human colony of Mindoir is attacked by batarian slavers. The Palaven Fleet responds, sending an attack force to defend their allies. After hours of combat, the batarians are forced back, with many colonists saved.
The batarians claim to have no knowledge of the attack. The Simeon EDF ambassador calls the batarian ambassador 'a total ass, and not worth the lies he tells,' and, with the approval of the EDF, declares the batarians enemies of Earth and her colonies.
2171 CE
In protest at the refusal of the Citadel Council to limit human expansion in the Skyllian Verge, the batarians close their embassy, withdraw into their home systems, and effectively become a rogue state. The EDF and Batarian Empire begin a cold war behind the scenes.
Oddly, SCALE also declares war on the batarians.
Hannah's son is officially detected as a biotic and fitted with L3 implants. He later goes into training under an old friend of his mother, someone only known as the Spirit Monk.
Wrex's adopted daughter kills her first grown Krogan, and is given a party to celebrate.
2172 CE
February 19: Jane Shepard joins Urdnot Wrex on her first bounty hunt.
April 11: John Shepard enlists in the EDF military.
November 14: Kai Leng enlists in the EDF military.
2173 CE
On Gagarin Station, "Eliza", a sapient AI, is created. Her existence is kept secret after the discovery, to defend her from a galaxy that would fear her. The HEAT research team begins teaching and working with the new entity, helping her through her existence.
A fly-by over the world of Armeni discovers odd surface protrusions. Upon closer inspection, they are identified as elaborate crypts made by the zeioph, an extinct spacefaring race. Various earthling universities seek to perform excavation, but Council laws that hold burial sites as sacrosanct prevent this. An ongoing debate over the issue ensues.

2174 CE
Ashley Williams enlists in the EDF military.
A Breach opens in the oceans of Ilium. The first breach to open on a planet other than Earth, the breach kaiju that leaves it, nicknamed 'Infiltrator', kills thousands in the coastal city of Dartus. The Turian Hierarchy and EDF mount an immediate response, attacking the kaiju and shutting down the breach.
The message of the Precursors is clear however. 'We can appear anywhere.'
Combined with King Ghidorah and the Gigan clones used by SCALE, it becomes clear that the threat of Kaiju is now a galactic threat.
Pressure increases on the EDF to release their schematics for Jaegers and maser cannons. Critics accuse the EDF of orchestrating the attacks, with some calling EDF 'warmongers' and 'monster breeders'. The strong relationships between the EDF and the monsters of Monster Island are used as proof. The Shojibin appear at a world counsel on top of their new guardian, Fairy Mothra, with Mothra herself, and implores the galactic community band together against the Precursors and other threats.
2175 CE
On a survey mission to 2175 Aeia, an important colonization prospect for the Systems Alliance, the MSV Hugo Gernsback disappears and is presumed destroyed.
SCALE initiates battle with batarian slavers on the moon of Torfan. SCALE escapes with many of the slaves, but focus almost exclusively on earthlings, leaving those from the Council Races behind. Jane Allwill, long since retired from the EDF, is interviewed on the incident. She commented, 'Trash killing trash? What a universe of marvels! Next we'll get Breach Kaiju that are self-cleaning!'
Miners at the T-GES Mineral Works facility on Mahavid uncover a Leviathan artifact. The miners are enthralled by the Leviathans and used to carry out numerous experiments.
2176 CE
Batarian-funded pirates and criminals launch a surprise attack, later known as the Skyllian Blitz, on the human colony of Elysium, in retaliation for the SCALE attack on Torfan. The EDF Fleet and ground teams made up of off-duty soldiers, mercenaries, and civilians, join together to combat the attack.
Urdnot Wrex and Urdnot Jane, celebrating a job, join in on the defense. John Shepard, a trained Jaeger pilot, is forced to ask Jane to aid him in piloting a decommissioned Jaeger into battle, unknowing of their relationship.
After the batarians are thoroughly defeated, the reunited siblings make plans to stay together. Urdnot's Wrex and Jane become consulting soldiers for the EDF on the request of John. Admiral Steven Hackett agrees with the request after reports of the Shepards combined piloting skills and Urdnot Wrex's skills in ground combat reach him, with many experts siting the Shepard Twins as the reason for the battle being won.
In honor of the victory, John and Jane are each given the medal for incredible combat prowess against impossible odds, the Hunters of Death award. From then on, the duo are known as the Hunters of Elysium.
The Miki Saegusa Academy is commissioned over Elysium, and becomes home to G-Force and HEAT's new superhuman training program, the Ascension Project.
The Anhur Rebellions, a civil war waged over the practice of slavery, begin on the human and batarian colony world of Anhur and spread throughout the Amun system. Abolitionism supporters plead for support from the EDF, and gain their immediate aid.
The Anhur Rebellions end with the abolitionist forces in power, and the reconstruction of Anhur commences. The batarian pro-slavery Na'hesit faction are forced to withdraw from the planet.
James Vega enlists in the Alliance military.
Kai Leng is awarded the N7 designation by the EDF's Interplanetary Combatives Academy, but later that year he is dishonorably discharged and imprisoned for first-degree murder. SCALE operatives later infiltrate the prison and help him escape.
2177 CE
During a recon mission to find a missing colonial pioneer team on Akuze, a unit of fifty EDF marines is attacked by thresher maws. The marines fight back, and manage to repel the attack. However, SCALE attacks the marines, killing most and taking the others prisoner.
The Asari and Salarian governments begin construction on Jaegers and maser cannons of their own, aided by consultants from the Earth Defense Forces. Asari and Salarian pilots are screened and trained by the EDF.
Anguirus and Rodan return to Monster Island. Both Kaiju are now capable of incredible feats of biotics, making both the most powerful biotics alive. Study of the monsters is done with enormous respect. Psychic handlers who have developed a rapport with the monsters on the island ask if they would allow testing.
Godzilla continues to travel the world. He is left a massive territory, and EDF adopts a hands off policy towards the King of Monsters.
Mothra lives in peace on Infant Island, protecting the Shojibin.
Zilla and King Caeser continue their training across the planet.
Kiryu is moved to join Project: OMEGA.
2178 CE
The EDF launches a full-scale attack on the batarians, focusing on the planet of Torfan. The criminal bases there are decimated by a combination of Jaegers, battleships, and superhuman forces. Battlegroups from the elcor and turian militaries float over the moon, destroying vessels attempting to escape. Hundreds of thousands of slaves are freed, and given new lives on other planets.
However, a film circulates of an EDF soldier mercilessly torturing and killing a group of slavers. Called 'the Butcher of Torfan', the video is upheld as proof of the brutality of humans. The soldier is never identified.
Admiral Kahoku of the G-Force releases a report on the actions of SCALE, as well his suspicions on their actions being aided by those in the government. After an assassination on him is foiled, his investigations are given the support of the EDF, and a task force is created to root out corruption within the EDF.
2183 CE
Humans and turians collaborate on an engineering project co-sponsored by the Citadel Council: an experimental frigate with a prototype stealth system, the SSV Normandy. David Anderson is given command of the ship, and Commander John Shepard is assigned as executive officer. Jeff "Joker" Moreau is assigned as the pilot of the SSV Normandy. Kaidan Alenko is assigned to the SSV Normandy. Consultant Jane Urdnot Shepard is assigned to the SSV Normandy. Consultant Urdnot Wrex is assigned to the SSV Normandy.
Project: OMEGA, the project Anderson and Lt. Kahlee Sanders were working on, becomes essential to the Normandy. The ship is designed around Project: OMEGA, and excitement for the unveiling of the project swells. The Turian Hierarchy begins working on similar projects in preparation for another breach, or an incursion of kaiju like King Ghidorah and SpaceGodzilla.
