Author's Note: Movie Verse, what if Uncle Ben hadn't died? Here's my answer. Starts off at the scene right after graduation.
If Things Were Different
Peter Parker sighed, it really hurt today.
The problem was, it wouldn't hurt at all if he had done what done what he should have. Stopped the bugler, instead of letting him go.
Graduating, with out the person he considered a parent. He just couldn't get it out of his mind, how much she'd have loved to have been there.
"Peter?" Ben Parker called for his nephew.
"It hurt a lot today." Peter said simply, his eyes tearing up a bit.
"I know, but I know she was watching, looking down from heaven and smiling." Ben replied patting Peter on the back. "Peter she would have been proud."

A few nights earlier, Ben Parker returned home, he noted he had to pick up Peter at 10:30.
'I'm going to have to finish my talk with him, I just hope he's cooled down by then' he thought and sat down. He turned on the television, and after a while before he had to pick Peter up he dozed off.
Around 10 May walked into the room, she considered waking him up but then decided to let him rest. She got into the car and became driving to the library.
She never did like downtown much, but she knew her way around.
When she was arrived she waited knowing Peter would be there soon.
"Outta the car lady." A gruff voice ordered, may looked out the window to she the man the voice belonged to. He held a gun and pointed it at her.
"I said outta the car." She unlocked the door, the man pulled it opened quickly and pulled her out. She scream and wept in fear.
"Shut up!" He order. She could stop herself. "I SAID SHUT UP!" The man shouted and fired. The bugler got in the car and drove off leaving May Parker on the street to die.
Peter would find on the street surrounded by cops his dead Aunt, and he would hunt down the man who killed her. Finding out it was the man he let go, he would be left with an extreme guilt.
As he went home to his house, he walked to and hugged his uncle Ben. The words the man had said earlier had seemed true, with great power did come great responsibly. A responsibly he couldn't ignore.

Peter walked into his house, it had been a hard night of webslinging, pulling people out a car wreck, and Harry wasn't home so maybe he could get some work done on his costume. He had torn it up a bit on some of the metal of the cars. He was glad he had made a spare costume. He walked into his room and to his surprise there sat his Uncle Ben.
"Uncle Ben what are you doing here?" He asked, not upset or anything just curious.
"Well I thought you'd be here, thought I'd come visit." He said, something was obviously bothering him. Peter wondered for a minute why he had given him an extra key. "There is one thing I wanted to ask you." His uncle said.
"What?" He asked. Ben pulled out his spare Spiderman costume, Peter felt his hart speed up in fear.
"Mind explaining this?"
