Hermione Granger continued to walk down the mysterious passageway. She must be a hour away from the door that she found at Hogwarts by now. Hermione also keep on hearing noises, as if someone was following her.

What a ridiculous thought, she told herself, though she keep glancing back in any case. Hermione wondered why this passageway was so lengthy. Finally, Hermione stopped at what appeared to be a doorway. Hermione opened it and entered Wonka's chocolate room.

Hermione was astonished. She had no idea where she was, but it certainly was unique. It was some kind of forest, yet it looked...eatable. Hermione walked up to a tree and looked at what appeared to be a gummy apple. But those don't grow on trees! Hermione reached out and touched it. It was real. Hermione grabbed the apple and held it up to her nose. It smelled majestic. She could almost taste it.

Then again, what if they weren't eatable? Hermione dropped the apple just to be safe and walked throughout the forest. Her eyes widened as she approached a river that seemed to be made of chocolate. What was this place? Hermione looked up at the dark ceiling. Apparently it was indoors, wherever she was. What business could Professor Snape have in a place like this?

Hermione jumped when she saw people across the river. Very short people in red jumpsuits. Rubbing her eyes, she was convinced it wasn't a hallucination. Should she approach them or run? One of the creatures stared at her. He pointed toward the river and a candy-like boat was sailing. The creature motioned for Hermione to climb aboard. Hermione followed the instructions, despite her unease. The boat sailed to a tunnel.

Meanwhile, Lucius Malfoy had just approached the end of his journey. Lucius observed the chocolate room with curiosity. What sort of room is this? And what does Granger have to do with it? Lucius spun to his left and began analyzing some of the plants. "Is this candy?" he muttered to himself. Lucius picked up a leaf and put it in his mouth. It tasted like chocolate. Perhaps this is were Lupin is hiding out, Lucius thought.

Lucius reminded himself that he needed to confront Granger, but she did not appear to be their. Prehaps Granger is merely luring me into a trap. Well, so what if she was? Lucius could take that girl on, no matter how smart she was.

Lucius exited the forest and stared at the Oompa-Loompa's, who were as surprised by his presence as he was of them.

"Half-breed servants!" Lucius called in a voice similar to Mr. Salt's, "come before me, I require assistance."

The Oompa-Loompa's were not impressed with these words; a few even snickered. Lucius was astonished by such behavior.

"Do you earth dwellers know precisely whom you are speaking to?" he demanded, "I am a pureblood wizard, and thus your superior."

No response. Lucius swore under his breath and scanned the room for a possible supervisor. He noticed the tunnel at the end of the chocolate room. "Where does that tunnel go? Did a girl through there?"

This time, they nodded that, indeed, a girl did go through their. "In that case, I seek transportation."

Just as he finished his sentence, the candy boat appeared. Lucius hopped aboard. The Oompa-Loompa's shot Lucius angry looks, but nonetheless the boat sped along.

"Evidently," Severus said as he ripped a piece of licorice in two, "these are not especially unbreakable."

"True," Wonka conceded, "but this is merely a beginner's stage. With a little more experimentation, it'll work like a charm."

"Prehaps," Severus said.

The chocolatier and the potion's master were in the Inventing Room.

An Oompa-Loompa approached Wonka and whispered in his ear.

"It appears we have two visitors in the factory," Wonka smiled, as if he were planning something already. Severus suspected he probably was.

"The Ministry has returned?" Severus asked wearily.

Wonka's expression was dark. "No. Far more interesting."
