Author's note: This is purely crack. I had the idea, and figured I'd write it. Not my best work, but it made me laugh. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Savior

"Luffy!" Ace screamed desperately as he watched Admiral Akainu charge towards his little brother with the intention to kill. His urge to fight was quickly replaced by the need to protect.

Luffy watched in frozen shock as his older brother dove in front of him, Admiral Akainu's magma-fist aimed straight for his chest...

When suddenly, the admiral was sent flying, spiraling in to the waves of the ocean with a single blow. Across the world, people held their breaths in shock, Buggy's stolen snail-cam pointed at the two amazed brothers as Akainu sunk to his watery death, no one really feeling like saving him.

"Get out of here!" an unfamiliar voice shouted, waking Ace from his shocked stupor. His savior grabbed both him and Luffy by the arms and threw them in the direction of a wide-eyed Marco. "You'll die if you stay here! I can handle this."

Marco's mouth dangled open for a second before he shook his head and dragged Ace and Luffy on board the ship, shouting commands to his fellow pirates. "Let's get out of here!"

Their escape ship began to depart, the pirates on deck deflecting any last attempts by the marines to stop them.

"Wait!" Ace screamed, leaning over the edge of the boat to glimpse his savior one last time, "who are you!?"

The unknown hero silently waved goodbye before turning to join the war, his muscular silhouette disappearing in to the distance.

Ace sunk beside his little brother, exhaustion finally taking a toll on him. "He never gave me his name...and what was with that outfit?"

Luffy grinned, leaning his head against Ace's arm. "I think I've seen him before!" he said, much to Ace's surprise, "at least I've seen that mask before. The whole crew has. In Alabasta...in Shaboady...a lot of places!"

Ace tilted his head to the side, unsure if he could trust his little brother's words. "But you don't know who he is?"

Luffy's smile grew wider. "Nope. But we all call him Pandaman."
