Sup guys, I'm back with another chapter, this one being an actual one. Today we're going to be seeing Thalia (my favorite, yay!) and Nico. This one is also a bit serious, (that's just a different name for No Smut.) but this is a development in the Nico Thalia line. To the story!

Nico's POV

Usually, I spend most of my time in the Underworld, wandering around my father's palace and making small talk with the local spirits. So most of the talk that I get from ghosts are complaints about how great life used to be, and how it's boring sitting here in the Fields of Asphodel. And when a person hears about being bored too much, it can drive them insane. Be pulled in from the shadows... disappearing with the empty whispers of souls long gone. (I speak from experience.)

The day she saved me from the brink of... dissolving, the day she gripped my hand and hauled me out of my own prison, out of my own sanctuary in the Underworld, There was nothing. Except her.

"That" day, Thalia's POV

"Father, I am still present."

Zeus glared down on me like an eagle high up in the sky. "And so you are." My father and I have been talking for about 5 minutes now. (New record, Wee!)He's been weaving his way through my inquiries and still won't answer my question. I sighed. "Then I shall ask again. What made mother go that way? You of all people should know." To be honest, I already knew why, or at least I think I did. Zeus glared some more, then pulled a face that looked... sad? "The Fates," He started, "Were never kind. They aren't kind. They never will be. They only do what they think is the best course of action for a being, even the gods." I stayed silent. "Before your mother, I had quite a lot of... women." I retorted, "That's an understatment, Father." Zeus frowned. "My point is that the Fates have not forgiven me for breaking the oath that I made to Hera on our wedding day." I frowned too. Zeus gave a dry chuckle. "They like oaths, those Fates." I was confused. "And what does that have anything to do with mother?" "Like I said, the Fates are cruel. It just so happend that the woman I had before your mother was the last straw for the Fates." I swallowed. "They came to me in the middle of the night with livid faces and told me that the next woman I be with, will have a terrible curse placed upon her and her child." Zeus looked ashamed, then continued, "I never took those words to heart. But they gave me fear. And when your mother passed by..." I stared. "So, it's your fault mother died, your fault Jason was taken, and you're sitting HERE?" "I can say no more, child. but if you are to free your mother from your heart, going to the Underworld would be a good start." I was outraged. "And now you're going to get rid of ME? By shoving me into the Underworld?" I stormed out of the throne room on Olympus. Angry at Zeus, angry at the Fates, angry at the world for being so unfair. Why did my mother have to take the blame? I slumped down the elevator floor, and cried.

I got to the Underworld soon enough. Being "Zeus' kid" had its merits. Charon took one look at me and said,"Well looks like Ms. Zeus' kid would like a ride. Where to?" He asked jokingly and laughed. I ignored him and got on the elevator, which soon turned into a boat. It took me to the edges of a black floating island in the middle of... Hell. I handed Charon a drachma and moved on. When I got to Cerberus and the gate, I could smell the stench of despair and death. Wrinkling my nose, I hurried on. Next I saw the Fields. "Mother would probably be here," I thought. I searched for a wild 80's hairdo. Bur just as I was about to turn away, I saw a famaliar someone. The hunched up shoulders, legs drawn in to his stomach and long black hair. Nico di Angelo. I smiled. He always reminded me of myself when I was young. It's always nice to have a conpanion when you travel. "Hey Death Boy! everyone has time to sleep, but..."
"Nico?"
Nico didn't answer. he just shuddered. "Nico? What's wrong with you-" I shook him and turned him over to see a black hole forming in the middle of his chest.
