Sorry for the extremely late almost three year late update. I had to take time for myself and gather my thoughts and figure out my life. A lot has happened these past few years. I'm twenty now. I moved to a different state and have my own little place with my partner. I have a stable job. Good things have came and I think I'm ready to come back and start writing again. I am also in the process of revising the story. Nothing is drastically being changed just correcting typo's, grammer, etc.

Thank you for being so patient.

"Those eyes of that man. They remind me of my beloved niece."
-Oleg

The trio and the big guy stared at each other. None knowing what to say or what to do. Yet the big guy eyes seem to wander over to the leader of the Saint's. His eyes locked with his. Nathan watched as a look of remembrance filled those dead eyes of his. Before he could ask for positive identification, Pierce spoke first before Nathan could utter a word. "What the fuck is this shit?!"

"Loren likes his toys to be the best of quality," the big guy spoke in a heavy Russian accent, "He doesn't care how he gets it done or how many fall before him. He gets what he wants when he wants it."

"How the hell did he get a man your size held captive here?" asked Shaundi as she lowered her gun.

"Like I said, he gets what he wants when he wants it. If you think I willingly submitted myself to this inhumane experimentation, you thought wrong. If you free me, I can help you bring down Loren." Nathan stared at him in silence before talking.

"What's in it for me?"

"I don't think that's a good idea Boss. The last time a big naked dude said he was going to help, it didn't end well," butted in Pierce

"Even if we do release him, how do we know those tubes and wires are the only thing keeping him alive?" stated Shaundi.

"Loren has my brawn, not my brain. My distaste for him may or may not be greater then yours but the want of killing him is at the same level as yours." The trio looked at one another, nodding heads in approval and lifted their guns and proceed to shoot down the computer equipment that held the big guy up. The equipment blew up automatically unlocking the restraints that held him. The ground shook as he landed. He stood up, towering over them cracking his neck from one side to another.

"Um...do you want some clothes?" piped up Pierce nervously as he kept his eyes up to avoid looking down at another man's private parts.

"No time." Was all the big guy said as he moved towards the elevator. Pierce looked at Nathan who simply shrugged at him while Shaundi followed after their future new member of the Saint's.

"The last time a big naked dude," started up Pierce again causing Nathan to roll his eyes and follow after the other two with his annoying friend behind him.

"So that's the building they're at?" questioned Gaia as she stared at the tall red building that loomed over everything.

"Supposedly," answered Mike as he stood next to her on the helipad, "I'm surprise they haven't blown it up yet."

"Nathan is that destructive?" Gaia questioned. Mike laughed in surprised.

"You know, considering what I've already seen being here for the last few months after joining and the stories I've been told by some of the older members who been with the crew since Boss took over, I'm baffled you never seen him on the FBI most wanted list."

"I was never the one for TV," replied Gaia as she sat herself on the helipad steps, "I was either with my mother or playing with the wolves."

"Wolves?" Repeated Mike as he sat besides you. Gaia nodded a yes.

"We raised a few since they were pups. They imprinted on me. Became apart of the little family I had."

"No shit," stated Mike amazed, "Why didn't you bring them along?"

"I think the staff at the airport would had heart attacks. It was either I sent them to a zoo or set them free in the wild. And like a mother, I set them free."

"Was it hard?"

"Of course it was Mike. It hurt but it had to be done. I know that they are safe for now. I just hope one day I can see them again. I doubt they wandered far from the house I use to live in, that is if they haven't gone feral yet." Mike stared at her, analyzing her beautiful features. He had to admit there was this sort of shrouded mystery aura around her. A past not spoken, a future not seen and a present that she made seem she would rather like to erase.

"I doubt they would Gaia. A pack never forgets their leader such like the saints towards your dad. Though most would leave your dad alone. I swear there isn't an ounce of sanity within him. There's a reason why most fear him."

"He hasn't given me a reason to fear him. He saved my life and Helena's. I owe him for that. I know he is an ass, a unpredictable one at that with an anger worser than the Pompeii eruption. I think the devil himself would think twice if he ever came for his soul or whatever," Gaia chuckled as she stared at the clear blue skies, "You see a leader, I see a big man child that's my father."

"I think he's more of a psychopath comedian in my eyes," laughed Mike, "With a soft heart deep somewhere in that hallow body of his."

"That sounds about right," Mumbled Gaia under her breath, "How's Nathan like when he isn't busy doing business? I guess that's what you can call it. Business right?" Mike sighed at her slight discomfort on how to address the concerns of the gang.

"You can call it that or just problems for the crew. Doesn't make it any different," he laughed softly, "But when Boss isn't in a blood lust rage or spilling blood of a rival gang for shits and giggles, he's more or less just a everyday guy at home. Sleep. Eat. Chill with friends. The typical day activities a typical person would do."

"So raging lunatic by day, a everyday casual citizen by night. Got it," answered Gaia with a chuckle, "Almost like Batman if he went rouge more a less."

"Why you gotta disrespect Batman like that?" Asked Mike acting fake offended. Gaia rolled her eyes as she turned her head to look at him.

"Is there anything else I should kmow about him?" Mike sat there and pondered for a few mintues.

"He's compassionate believe it or not. Has a real soft spot for certain people and things even though he doesn't really show it. Best example, the crew. Best way I can describe it is he's the mommy and the rest of us are his babies. Kill one of us, he'll take half your people out and you included."

"Wouldn't have thought compassion was in him from first impressions. More of an asshole, sprinkled with a bit of fuck you with a dash of fuck off topped off with zero fucks given in my opinion but than again that's me and I haven't known the man since birth and I been here about three days tops. Quite unfair to judge him when I don't know him as well as I thought I did."

"What did you think of him when you were coming over here for the first time?" Gaia bit her lip as she looked away from him, slightly ashamed of herself for believing what she did. She shook a leg of hers in anger at herself.

"I thought he was a good for nothing deadbeat father that left my mother just because he felt like it," she said slowly the words stinging her pride and the pain in her heart, "But I didn't know the story. I didn't know the why's. I didn't know anything. My mother never taught me to hate him. I decided to hate him out of spite. Why she never told me what really happened is beyond me. Even now, I don't know what really happen between my parents just the bit and pieces I learned while being here. I feel extremely disgusted on how acted towards him." Mike gave a sympathetic look as he moved closer and pulled her into a half reassuring hug.

"Don't be too hard on yourself gorgeous. Things like this happen a lot more often than you think," he said as he looked at Gaia who sighed deeply before relaxing into his embrace and rested against him.

"I'm not being hard on myself Mike. It's just...I thought I had a legitimate reason to hate that man with a passion and I don't. There wasn't a reason to begin with. This hatred I feel in my heart, I taught myself. I believed in a lie I kept telling myself to the point I actually believed it. My mom never spoke of him and if she did, nothing ill was said of him. My mom never hated Nathan, I did," answered Gaia as she looked at Mike with pained eyes, "Am I a bad person because of that?"

"No. You're not a bad person for that Gaia. Far from it. I've met worser people who hated a person for simply giving a innocent stare." That made Gaia laugh.

"Just because of an innocent stare? You have to be kidding me! If I knew better, you could be talking about Nathan for all I know," replied Gaia making Mike join in on her laughter.

"Nah, Boss needs reasons to hate people. If that was the case a whole lot of people would drop dead just for staring at him." Gaia couldn't explain it but she felt absolutely relaxed being with Mike even after the terrifying events that unfolded last night. This was a feeling she hadn't felt since her mother's death. Even though she had Helena by her side there was this big emptiness within her that was aching to be filled with love, care, and purpose. But Gaia knew Mike's friendship and care wasn't going to be enough. There is a lot that needs fixing and understanding before she can feel herself once more.

"Mike, can I tell you something?" Asked Gaia as looked at him with tender, innocent eyes causing his heart to flutter.

"What's up?" He asked as he played it off.

"You are beautiful person. Both inside and out," replied Gaia with a beautiful smile causing Mike to blush a deep red, "Are you blushing?" giggled Gaia as she placed a hand on his right cheek, "You are! Are you not use to compliments is that what it is?" Before Mike could respond the tall building where Nathan and most of the crew was, blew up with a deafing explosion. Gaia let out a scream as Mike used his body and shielded her out of instinct as the penthouse and buildings nearby shook. Mike looked up and to his horror he saw flying debris heading towards them. He got up yanking Gaia along as he hauled ass back inside the penthouse. The remaining crew that stayed behind to watch over the girls stood at the windows already, horror and concern written all over their faces. A loud crash was heard and Mike looked only to see where him and Gaia where only moments ago a large piece of sharp twisted metal was there. It could've killed both of them of he didn't think fast.

"Oh my god," he heard Gaia mumble under her breath as she stared horrified at the sky with everyone else. The top half of the building was gone and smoke was filling the air.

"Shit..." Mumbled Mike is disbelief. He didn't know if he jinxed them or if it was just pure coincidence knowing his Boss. Gaia felt her heart grow suddenly heavy. Her mind couldn't comprehend what just happened but all she knew Nathan, her father, was in that building and right now she didn't know if he was alive.

"Nathan..." She said his name breathlessly as this slient anxiety took over her. She gazed at Mike with pleading eyes to somehow reassure her that everything was going to be fine but he couldn't speak any words that could offer some form of comfort. They just had to wait and see.

"I can't believe you killed Loren that way!" Exclaimed Pierce in disbelief and in praise as he hopped out of the truck they took to escape the building before it blew, "Motherfucker thought he was going to walk away scott-free but you! You were all like, I think not! And came flying down from the top floor with that big ass metal ball and crushed him! You flatten him!" Nathan laughed at his praise as they went around back and opened the back of the truck to let Shaundi, Oleg whose name he learned after they succesfully killed Loren, and a few members of the crew out.

"Did you expect any less of me?" Replied Nathan with a amused smirk as he looked at his friend.

"With you? No," answered Shaundi before Pierce could, "How we haven't died yet is my biggest question. Lady luck is either on our damn side or you're just a damn luck charm."

"Probably a bloody luck charm," answered Nathan with a laugh, "But absolutely nothing close to the luck Johnny had."

"Or probably driven by determination, courage and leadership with no fear," spoke up Oleg causing the three of them to look at him, "I've seen fearless but you have a extraordinary level of fearless. I've looked death in the eye but you will dive right at it not caring the outcome. Why is that?"

"When you are driven by family you don't question what you do Oleg. You just do it. If the price of it is your life at least you die knowing those you care about get to see tomorrow," answered Nathan surprising the other two. Oleg smiled seeming satisfied with his answer.

"You pour of loyalty and courage and I find that highly admirable my friend. It would be of great honor to work for you if you allow it, consider it as payment for releasing me from that prison Loren locked me in." Nathan looked at his two right hands who nodded in agreement. Nathan approached Oleg and extended out a hand to him to which he grasp with his humongous hand and shook hands.

"Welcome to the Saint's Oleg."

Gaia paced back and forth. Her mind wandered to the worst outcomes. It felt like she was reliving the nightmare all over again. No straight forward answer's. No explanation's. No reassurance. Nothing. Just a cold silence and praying for the best. Mike could only watch along with a sick Helena who sat besides him on the couch after awakening to the explosion, as she paced back and forth.

"Gaia, sweetie, please sit. You've been pacing for the last hour," called out Helena.

"No," answered Gaia, "I can't sit down calmly knowing that he was in that building when it exploded!"

"The Boss is pretty hardcore Gaia. He's probably coming up the elevator as we speak!" Said Mike in a vain attempt to calm her. She just shot dagger eyes at them both making them sigh in distress.

"Did you not see that explosion Mike? A piece of the building nearly killed us outside. The surroundings buildings shook or are on fire as we speak! Half of that buidling is gone!" Stated Gaia so loudly that she didn't hear the ding of the elevator arrving nor the doors of it opening, "How can we be sure that the three of them are coming back?! Let alone if they are alive?!"

"Maybe if you looked back my love you can find the answer to your question," answered a british voice. Gaia eyes widen at her father's voice but Helena expression of absolute disbelief and tears falling down her face caught her attention. Gaia turned around and her heart just stopped. She saw the big, tall, muscular figure standing behind the trio. The blind eye, the scar. She couldn't believe it. After all these years, here he was standing before her and he stared back at her in disbelief. Tears formed in her eyes and spilled as she uttered one word.

"Uncle!"
