Harry was starting to wish that he had just been killed with his parents.

First, he had to endure muggles, (and wasn't that reason enough?) but now they had to go and beat him for every last bit of accidental magic this body let slip.

Why did they have to hate him, of all people?

As Harry sat in his cupboard, half starved, he listened to Dudley and his aunt talking.

"But mummy, I want candy!" His cousin screamed at his mother.

"Darling, mummy needs to get a new coat and then we will go get you lots of candy. "

Spoilt brat.

He sat on the dirty floor, waiting for them to leave.

Five minutes and two tantrums later, they finally left him in peace.

Harry was able to gather enough 'accidental' magic to open the cupboard door and get himself out of the house. He sat on the carefully trimmed lawn, staring up at the web of golden, white, and silver threads around the house that formed the wards. He picked out what looked like magic detection wards, protection wards, anti-apparation wards, anti-animagi wards, and some kind of blood protection. He painstakingly took note of all the wards that would report to anyone, memorized their components, and slowly but surely removed them from the house. He then charmed his appearance so that he looked half goblin- the only way to explain his hight- and apparated to Diagon Alley, thankfully not splinching himself. He headed off towards Gringotts to claim his money so that he could buy himself some books and other things.

When he got to Gringotts, he asked for an inheritance test, and added that he also wished to claim a vault. A goblin led him to a room and took out a quill, a piece of parchment, a bowl, and a dagger. He was told to cut himself and allow the blood to drip into the bowl, which he did. The goblin then dipped the quill into the blood, and held it over the paper. The quill began to write:

Heir to House Potter

Heir to House Black

Head of House Slytherin (by reincarnation)

Head of House Peverall (by reincarnation)

Access to vaults 713, 212, 13, 67, 2, 715, 405. Must claim vaults 223 and 224 (Hogwarts) for access.

The goblin then took out three ink bottles, three quills, and a blank sheet of parchment. Harry took the quills, and began drawing the Hogwarts crest. He then drew the Slytherin crest and the Peverall crest, and two snakes with tails touching encompassing the entire thing.

The goblin nodded in acceptance of what he did, and led him to a cart, which, at his asking, took him to the Slytherin vault, where he retrieved his wand.
