I was going to post the explanation for the last chapter in with the alternate ending I'll be uploading in the next few weeks, but I'm getting a little tired of having the same question sent to me, so I figured I would post the answer here, so I wouldn't have to reply to it again.

This story was based off of the movie "The Ward". If you haven't seen it already, I recommend you go watch it. It's classified as a scary movie, but there's only one relatively jump-scare part. It was good enough for me to write a 47 chapter story over, at least, if you were about to ask. If you'll watch it, you'll see I stayed true to a few key elements that I won't list because I don't want to spoil it but you'll notice pretty quickly what I borrowed and what I made up myself, and if you're still angry with me after watching it, I'm truly sorry.

Also, if you're kind of hesitant about watching the movie, Amber Heard is in it. Yeah. Go watch that now.

Anyway, the alternative ending will be posted soon, with this explanation repeated to a certain extent, and then I'll take this down. I just wanted to let you duckies know ahead of time.
