Lost in thought
Keima looked back on this conquest.
He briefly consider the effects of having Haruhi create a more interesting world, opening opportunities for people to become the hero or heroine of their own story. The people who always felt didn't belong in a normal world, people who felt they were meant for more than just going to their jobs everyday... and when people could find it easily or lost hope they turn to ways to escape reality... T.V. shows, movies, books, and...games...
The thing he love the most, does he actually love it?
Or was it a escape?
The answer is both for him.
but If the world was to be changed, there be no need for an escape.
would it be really fair for him to deny that to people... just cause they didn't try hard enough. Some people's dreams are nearly impossible in the real world and if he were to do nothing, Haruhi would continue getting used to the normal and the chances for anything extraordinary would be gone, she could subconsciously make the world dull forever...
At the time, he decide to ignore change and simplify it to one thing.
To his one and only true goal.
Conquer!
"conquer... conquer.. conquer"
Keima muttered, rolling on the floor.
"I think you might have hit him too much"
Kyon commented.
"he deserved it, maybe this time he'll actually lose his memories"
Haruhi grudgingly remarked.

"so what do we do now?"
Haruhi asked to no one in particular.
"Keima said our first priority should be to rescue miss Asahina"
Koizumi replied.

Kyon approached Haruhi.
"look, I know we haven't been completely honest and there's still things we can't tell you, but we all still friends, right?"
Kyon left a pause for a response.
"right now, we need to rescue miss Asahina, she's our friend, she your friend too"
Kyon said with a smile, hoping.
"I don't know, this is all too much for me to handle, I should go home, I'll just get in your way, I don't have any superpowers to help you anyways"
Haruhi softly and sadly replied. She shrugged pass Kyon for the door.
She turns her head a bit, standing in front of the door, as if to look back.
Her reaches for the door.
"THAT'S IT!?"
The voice was familiar but different.
Haruhi turns around to see Keima standing.
"That's it? you spent all this time looking for something supernatural and you can't "handle" it. The Haruhi I know wouldn't back away from adventure"
Keima passionately announced, with eyes burning of fire and a look of disbelief and anger.
Kyon couldn't help but to feel that he should have been the one to say it and notice that even Nagato's eyes widen a bit.
A small smile return Koizumi's face as he watches.
" and what do you know about me!?"
Haruhi rebutted.
"I know you're a lot similar to me"
Keima answered without hesitation.
"you're just using that stupid power of yours, you can't truly know how I feel!"
Haruhi jabbed, her eyes beginning to water.
"I lied. I don't have any powers but I did made a contract with the devils"
Keima replied, approaching her.
"I'm just human...like you.."
keima continued.
"I know what it feels to be powerless, to feel insignificant, to not be able to change the world and how it feels to be different"
Keima walked to an arm's length from Haruhi as he finish his sentence.
"no, you can't, no one understands me..."
Haruhi objects, tearing up.
"But I do, I understand you suffer from all the looks from the others, that's why you really seeked me out, you saw yourself in me and I don't need a power to know that"
Keima softly finished. Hugging Haruhi as she cried.
"I know you weren't ready for this, but please don't give up your dreams, don't give up on yourself because of my lies... I need you, we need you."
Keima comforted Haruhi while softly patting her back.
Haruhi cried for a good period of time, everyone else remained silent as she cried.
Keima would normally be uncomfortable and annoyed in this position for this long, but he didn't mind this time.

"so how do we find miss Asahina?"
Kyon slowly asked.
"well, in stories and otherwise conquest, time-traveler character shows up at the main character or at places where time traveling is involved, so... does anyone know if there's a place where a time anomaly happened?"
Keima asked in hope of a answer.

Koizumi looked around the room as Kyon think carefully if he knows any such anomalies.
Would the time I traveled with her count as an anomaly? what about six years ago, she said there was a anomaly involving Haruhi, but where?
Kyon thought to himself til his thoughts were interrupted.
"I know of location where a time anomaly occurred."
Yuki Nagato blankly stated.
"where is it?"
Haruhi asked impatiently.
Yuki simply nodded and said "follow me" as she walked out the room. The other followed wordlessly, with Keima lost in thoughts.
