Chapter 3: The Life of Nara Naruto part 2
Naruto was standing in front of a small shop at the end of a dark alley that he could swore that it was never there before, the main reason is that it's just 2 blocks from Ichiraku's ramen stand. The other reason is that it appeared to be that only he could see and enter the alley. The shop had a big black sign on it that said in big letters.
'Black Market'
Naruto entered slowly "hi Naruto glad you made it" a voice said making Naruto jump. He searched for the voice the store was not that special just what you would expect from a basic shop it was made out of wood and there were a lot of weapons there one that caught his eye was some kind of blade that looked like a key. Then he saw a girl looked to be in her mid 20's she had a green sundress on with a blue apron on, she had brown eyes and long blond hair tide in a ponytail. "My name is Lily welcome to the black market" she said as she went behind the counter.
"So I guess this is part of the game" Naruto said
"Yes it is this has 4 functions, first is a store that you can buy a lot of rare item, second is an item storage if you die then the items that you had will be transferred here and you could use them in the next life the same with money to, third you can buy elemental affinities here but you have to of used at least one jutsu of that affinity to buy it and the last thing is getting special quest here to do that you would have to talk with Carl in the next room" Lily said
"Thanks I think I will talk to him now" Naruto said as he went to the next room it was a small room with a desk and a wooden chare in front of it and the the room was dimly lit and sitting behind the desk was a guy with short silver hair that look no more than 17 wearing a grey muscle shirt and brown cargo shorts he was also wearing a Konoha head band around his forehead.
"Welcome Naruto I take it you want a quest" he said "also my name is Carl Mitsunata"
"Yes I would" Naruto said sitting on the wooden chair
"Well I got 2 and you can only take one at a time also if you take a quest it will continue into other lives and also through saves and if you want to quit a quest it will cost you 2,000 ryo" Carl said "since we got that out of the way the quest I got is retrieving the 2 remaining 7 swords of the mist or stopping Hinata's kidnapping, which one will you chose"
"Let's go with the 7 swords of the mist one because I know that I will run into both of them soon" Naruto said
"Good choice Naruto" Carl said as he wrote down something on a piece of paper.
Then the words 'quest taking: retrieve the remaining 2 swords from the 7 swords of the mist' appeared and then dissolved into dust
"Just come to me to complete the quest" Carl said then Naruto got up to leave "Oh Naruto just to let you know you have to get both the swords in one life"
"Ok" Naruto said as he left to head home
~ Next Day ~
Naruto went to take his ninja profile Picture not painting his face this time, after that he finalized it with the Hokage then Konohamaru did his attack and tripped over his own cap. "Who tripped me" he said then his eyes laded on Naruto "you're the one who tripped me"
Naruto grabbed his shirt color "you tripped over your own cap" Naruto said as he went to hit him
"Stop Naruto that kid is the honed grandson of the honed 3rd Hokage" Ebisu said as he entered the room.
Naruto didn't care, he need to learn that that title would not get him out of everything so Naruto hit him then left with Konohamaru fallowing behind him.
~ Seen Change ~
Naruto felt a persistent following him
"Shadow Position Jutsu"
Naruto entailed his stalker and made him come out of his horrible hiding spot "you're even better than I thought boss" Konohamaru said
Naruto sighed 'can't believe I forgot about this, well I can help him a lot better than last time'
"Can you become my teacher" Konohamaru said as the jutsu dispersed
"I can't be your teacher but I can be your sparring partner and help you out" Naruto said
Konohamaru thought for a second "ok boss" he said as he and Naruto left to spar
~ Later that day ~
Naruto and Konohamaru spent most of the day sparing Naruto gave him some tips on his Taijutsu stance and a better way to hold a kunai knife. Now they were sitting on a bench drinking some juice "so why is a kid like you working so hard to beat the Hokage" Naruto said making some Smalltalk.
"My name is Konohamaru my grandpa named me that after the village so it should be easy to remember. But no one calls me that they only ever call me the honorable grandson because my grandpa is the Hokage. It's like no one sees me they only ever see my grandpa that is why I need to become the Hokage now so people will respect me" Konohamaru said
"If it was that easy to be Hokage then there would be no honor in that name" Naruto said
"You don't know anything" Konohamaru said as he got up
"To be Hokage is to be the strongest in the village to love the village with your whole heart, to protect the village even if it cost your life" Naruto turned to Konohamaru "it takes years and years to even make it possible to be Hokage no one get to be Hokage just by wishing for it"
Their conversation was interrupted when Ebisu came to take Konohamaru away. Konohamaru was hugging a tree whale Ebisu was tugging on his cap until he was ensnared by Naruto Shadow Position Jutsu "you shouldn't use that jutsu on your superiors boy" Ebisu said as he broke out of the Jutsu effortlessly.
"I will keep that in mind when I meet one of my superiors" Naruto said smugly as he got into a Taijutsu stance.
Ebisu was mad, who did this kid think he was mocking "I will show you to respect your elders' boy" he said as he pulled out a kunai
Naruto went into some handsigns
-Dog, Ox, Rat-
Naruto put his hand out as Ebisu went in for an attack with the kunai
"Shadow Style: Shadow Sword"
Ebisu's attack was blocked a sword of pure black
Konohamaru was amazed at Naruto skill, he has never heard of a jutsu that could materialist a sword before
"Don't think you have won just because you have a sword boy" Ebisu said as he jumped back "I am just getting warmed up" then he threw the kunai and went into some handsigns
"Shadow Kunai Clone Jutsu"
Just then the 1 kunai turned into 100, Naruto moved to the side but got nicked by a few and 2 sticking to his right arm, then he went to his signature handsign
"Shadow Clone Jutsu"
Where one Naruto was standing there were now 3 each with their own Shadow Sword
"Nice trick kid" Ebisu said
Then the 3 Naruto's rushed him with 2 of them going to the side and the 3rd one went to the front. All 3 of them stabbed Ebisu; Konohamaru was socked for a moment thinking that Naruto killed his sensei until there was a puff of smoke and it turned out Naruto stabbed a log.
"A replacement!" Naruto said shocked just then a blur appeared in his vision and Naruto was on the ground with a kunai up agents his neck and the other 2 clones gone
"Looks like I win" Ebisu said
"Looks like you do" Naruto said, then Ebisu removed the kunai and offered his hand to Naruto
"Good fight kid" Ebisu said
"The name is Naruto not kid" Naruto said as he grabbed the hand and got up
"Mine is Ebisu" he said
"Konohamaru you have a great teacher here" Naruto said as he left
Konohamaru perked up when he heard his name as he saw Naruto leave he yelled "thank you" to Naruto
Naruto just waved as he walked into the sunset
