"I can't believe you're making me do this," Remus grumbled, straightening out his bowtie made of construction paper. He held a coloring book in his hands, and stood under their favorite tree next to the swings.

"This is a tragedy!" Sirius exclaimed, throwing himself on the ground and acting faint.

"Would you stop it, Sirius? This is my wedding! Shouldn't my best man be happy for me?" James asked, rolling his eyes. Remus was the pastor, Peter was his other groomsman. And of course Lily had Marlene as her maid of honor, and Dorcas as a bridesmaid. Mary was acting as the flower girl.

All of their best friends were there, James couldn't ask for a better wedding. The sun was out, and it wasn't too hot. The perfect day to marry his Lily.

Peter took out his kazoo, and began to hum a toon as Mary skipped through the playground, tossing leaves out of her coat pockets. There weren't very many flowers, so they made due.

They all looked up as Lily walked out next, wearing her best Easter dress, and a lily that James had given her in her hair.

The ceremony remained short, mostly because Remus didn't know what to say. "Do you, James, take Lily to be your wife?"

"I do." James grinned, sliding a superman cupcake ring onto Lily's finger.

"And do you, Lily, take James to be your husband?" Remus continued.

"I do!" Lily said, sliding one onto James' finger.

"Then I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Remus rolled his eyes as James leaned over and kissed Lily's cheek. Gagging sounds could be heard from Peter, while all of Lily's friends clapped.

Sirius just groaned. "My life is over! There goes all of my plans! How is my best mate a married man?!"

"And now for the honeymoon!" James said, taking Lily's hand. "We'll be on the jungle gym for the rest of second recess! I'll see you all in class! Great news, Mrs. Appleton said that Lily and her friends could push their table closer to ours! We'll have the best table in the class!"

"She's already moving in?!" Sirius groaned. "Remus, I feel faint!"
