"Seriously?!" Caroline exclaimed, "All of this is yours?"

Klaus chuckled at her excitement, "Yes Caroline."

"But why New Orleans?" She raised her eyebrow.

Klaus smiled, "This is one of the very few places where my family was ever truly happy."

"And you want me to stay here...with you?" Caroline was at a lost for words, "But what about Katherine and your kids? I mean I don't want to be a home wrecker and-"

"We've discussed this blondie already." Katherine came into to the bar, interrupting them with Natalia trailing behind her.

Caroline looked confused and turned to leave.

"Remember how I told you that a small town life would not do you justice?" Klaus called out.

Caroline turned almost immediately, "Look Klaus I have no idea what you are trying to do but I just want to find Tyler and get the hell out of here." She replied.

After Caroline had left, Natalia looked to her father, "She doesn't know about Hayley?"

Klaus smirked, "Not yet." while Katherine rolled her eyes and curled up next to Klaus, "She's gonna be very sad and disappointed when she finds out about wolf girl."

"I know, which is why, she'll need your support." He kissed her forehead.

Katherine pouted, "I can't believe that Caroline and I actually got along..." She trailed off, staring at the place where Caroline stood.

"I didn't, love." Klaus started, "You two are more alike than you would care to admit."

Even Natalia nodded, "Dad has a point there."

Klaus smiled, it had been only three months since the twin had encounter his parents and a month later with the help of the Scooby gang from Mystic Falls the Originals were able to defeat his parents. After making a quick treaty, the Originals agreed to move onto New Orleans. Ever since then, Natalia had warmed up to her new found family.

Just then Jason and Aria walked into the hand in hand. Natalia immediately rolled her eyes but was happy for her twin, she had finally found her source of happiness. Katherine awed at the happy couple where as Klaus rolled his eyes. After going through a few torturing with the boy, Klaus had to admit that Jason was truly in love with his daughter. However he did find himself lucky that it was Jason and not Damon.

Speaking of Damon, Klaus couldn't help but express his joy when Aria had "dumped" him. She had explained that no matter how much she wanted his attention, she would never win it and that Damon would always choose Elena. Therefore, she broke it off and came down to New Orlean, and it had been there where she bumped into Jason once again. Jason had proven himself a valuable ally when Klaus and Marcel were engaging in war, helping to gather the werewolves on the side of Klaus.

"Aww aren't they just the most cutest couple?" Luke popped out of no where, causing Natalia to jump.

"Luke." She scolded.

Katherine laughed and turned her attention her daughter and her so called mate. They hadn't noticed Katherine, Klaus, Luke nor Natalia it just seemed that they were lost in their own world.

"This is gross." Natalia voiced her opinion, "Why are we spying on them?"

"That indeed is a good question, love." Klaus stated loudly, grabbing Jason and Aria's attention.

Also immediately the hand holding dropped and Aria's cheek turned red as they walked toward their table.

"Hi mom, hey Dad." She said shyly, embarrassed that she was spied on by her family.

"Aria. Jason." Klaus nodded, signaling for them to sit down which they happily compelled to.

"Sooo. We were wondering if you guys could take care od the town for a few days...Me and Klaus have to discuss some few about the condition of this city with Marcel." Katherine said, breaking the silence that occurred when her daughter and boyfriend sat down.

Jason, Natalia and Ari all looked up in shock. Then they turned to Klaus who nodded confirming the news.

"But of course Luke will be with you and Elijah will be returning back." Klaus said and turned to Jason, "Hopefully I don't make the wrong choice entrusting you."

Jason, "T-thank you, sir."

Klaus waved it off, "Call me Nik." At the end of the sentence both Natalia and Aria shot each other a shocked look.

"Wait you said that Uncle Elijah is coming back from his vacation, what about Aunt Bekah and Nadia?" Natalia questioned.

Katherine shrugged, "They have been on a break and truth be told they deserve it." Klaus made a sound of disapprovement but was cut off when Caroline once again enter the building with tears streaming down her face.

"Umm I think she just found about the were-slut having Tyler's baby..." Aria voiced and glanced at her father, "Are you going to talk to her?"

At this point, Aria was still confused about the relationship that concerned her father, mother, Uncle Elijah and Caroline. But neither Natalia nor her would comment on the state of these relationships. When the question of immortality as brought then truly anything could happen when time is not the enemy. However, if there was one thing that Natalia and Aria had learned it was that their family was always there for one another.

Family above all. Forever and always.

"Go on Klaus, I think that she would benefit from you at this point. Help her through this otherwise she'll turn off her emotions." Katherine nudge Klaus in the direction of the crying vamp.

"Nat, would you like to come and help me out with something?" Katherine asked when she noticed that Jason was making lovey dovey eyes at Aria, and decide two give the two privacy (but she totally spied on them anyways.)

"Yeah sure no problem." Natalia quickly understanding her mother.

When they were finally alone, Jason reached for Aria's hands causing her to look up.

"I love you."

"I love you too. Can you believe that fate works in mysterious ways?"

Jason shook his head, "Honestly I never thought that I would have seen you again after the ball that your parents threw because I seriously thought that they would kill me for coming as close as I did to you.

Aria rolled her eyes, "I wouldn't have let anything happen to you."

Jason smirked. "Right because you and Demon guy weren't getting along so great...weren't you?"

Aria playfully smacked his arm, "You know that fling meant nothing...it was just a test and Damon just happened to fail."

Jason rubbed his shoulder, "Whatever you say Ari, whatever you say..."

"Jason Haynes are you jealous?" She gasped.

He glared at her and she laughed, "It's always been you, Jason."

"Good because I'll always be yours, Aria Sophia Mikaelson."

In that moment, Aria could fell her lips crash onto Jason's, she didn't care what the future held but she was happy and couldn't have asked for anything better.

The End of Devil's Daughter...for now

ummmm hi?! I know it's been like 2 years since I've last updated but I have to be honest with you and say that I lost my interest in Vampire Diaries...and it wasn't even the fact that Klaroline, Stebekah, Kalijah weren't happening, it was because the writers killed Katherine. At the point I kinda stopped watching Vampire Diaries and The Originals and just kinda moved on with my life...but here and then I would get a message asking about when I would update. After thinking about I decided that I would come back to finish my stories because it would be unfair to the you, the readers and I really really really didn't want to be that one author that just lets their stories fade. So hopefully if anyone is still reading this...Comment please:)

No promises are being made but if I get a chance, I might give this book a sequel to recover all the moments that happened in the shift between Mystic Falls and New Orleans.
