Hello readers! This story may seem like it jumps around, and doesn't flow very well, but it is helping me set up the next story.

'Thoughts'

"Elvish"

"How did you know it was me?"

"My dear professor, I've never seen a cat sit so stiffly."

The man and woman talk a little more, before a man on a motorcycle comes in. They talk some more, and then the old man leaves a baby on the steps of the house. The three of them leave.

A minute later, a man comes out from behind a bush. He walks over to the baby.

"Harry Potter, why would they leave you with such fowl relatives?"

He picks up the bundle and, with his staff, makes a portal.

"The old man said goodbye, and what a goodbye it is."

He then steps through the portal.

The man brought the boy to the forest where a man with pointed ears took him.

Dumbledore set up gadgets to help him know where Harry Potter was at all times. Harry's aunt never opened the door, so the gadgets don't work.

**Five years later**

"Slow down Alos!"

"No, you've got to catch me first!"

Two young boys- err... elves- are chasing each other through the forest. The boy in back is six years old. He has green eyes, and black hair that goes down to his mid-back. The top part of his hair is braided, while the bottom is left down. He is wearing a green tunic, and green pants. His companion looks pretty much the same; except he has blue eyes, blond hair, and one small braid on each side of his head. The only other physical difference is that he is taller… which makes sense, since he is older. They consider each other brothers.

The night that Gandalf took Harry Potter from Earth, he brought him to Mirkwood, and the Greenleafs. Harry is adopted, so Legolas Greenleaf is not only Harry's best friend, but brother as well.

**3 years later**

Legolas Greenleaf and Harry Potter-Greenleaf are practicing archery.

"Your father said that I'd find you out here." An old man says as he comes into view. The two kids turn around, and exclaim, "Gandalf!"

Harry waves goodbye to his brother and walks away with Gandalf. Harry knows that he's not from Middle Earth. He also knows that even though he looks like an elf, (because of a spell) he's not one. Every once in a while, Gandalf comes by and teaches Harry about who he is, and about magic. His family and friends know that in two years, Harry will leave and to go Earth, to Hogwarts; and only come back for the summer. He may have a little advantage, though, because Gandalf has taught Harry about/how to use a staff as well as a wand. When Harry leaves for Hogwarts, though, he will just take his want.

**One and a half years later**

Once again Harry and Legolas are practicing archery. Harry's not as good as his brother, but he is still pretty good. Legolas gets all his arrows in the middle of the target. Harry gets his in the middle and around the middle.

"It's okay Harry, you'll get it eventually."

The two boys turn to walk and grab their arrows, when a dagger zooms passed their heads and lands in the middle of the target.

"Nice shot Harry!"

"It wasn't me Legolas, it came from behind us."

They turn around and see one of their elven friends, Rinion [Rinn-ee-on] (Elvish for Steven) coming towards them. They grab their arrows and dagger and walk over to a clearing. Rinion had brought two swords with him… his and Harry's. Harry had been training with a bow and arrows as well as a sword, he was better with his bow, though.

Soon, Harry would be leaving his friends and family behind and going to Earth. He's nervous, but excited at the same time.

It's kind of a confusing story, but like I said earlier… it's to help better understand the next one.
