Kim Possible: Meltdown

By LJ58

"Ron, there you are," Kim shouted, running into his backyard. "I was worried. Wade said he couldn't get hold of you, and we have a mission! It looks like….."

"No," Ron said, sitting in the middle of his backyard, staring out at nothing.

He didn't even look back when she came running up behind him, shouting for his attention.

"No," she echoed, stopping to stare at him, and slowly walking around him.

"No," he repeated.

"No," she frowned, echoing him again as she looked down, surprised by the mulish expression on her friend, and partner's face. "Why not?"

"Not until you apologize."

"Ron, Drakken….."

"Don't care. You have to apologize first."

"For what," she exclaimed, utterly dumbfounded by him just then.

That she knew of, she had not crossed any social boundaries he liked to set. She wasn't coaching anyone, or helping anyone. It had been a relatively quiet week until their two least favorite felons decided to pop up, and ruin things.

"You know what you did," he informed her curtly.

Kim groaned.

Unfortunately, only Ron knew what he was thinking at times, and to be honest, sometimes she felt even he wasn't sure about what was in his head.

"Ron, I don't know what you're talking about," she groaned.

Ron glared.

She knew the expression. Unfortunately, it meant he was going to be stubborn about things, and time was wasting. Time, she knew, they might have to waste.

"Just tell me what it is now," she sighed.

"If you don't know, I can't tell you," he protested. "Otherwise, you'll never learn your lesson."

"My lesson," Kim exclaimed. "Ron, we have a mission. Do we really have to do this right now," she asked.

Ron glanced away, looking more stubborn than ever.

"Damn it, Ron," Kim finally seethed. "Will you just tell me what you think I did wrong this time," she demanded.

Ron stared up at her, and finally crossed his arms, and lifted his chin.

"You said nacos were junk food."

Kim slapped a hand over her face.

"Nacos, KP," he complained. "Nacos!"

Kim's growl was completely inarticulate.

KP

"What got into her," Shego groaned, collapsing in the back of the holding van as the GJ agents shoved her, and Drakken into the armored vehicle called out for high-profile felons.

"I don't know," Drakken moaned, nursing more than one bruise. "But whatever I said, don't ever let me say it again," he ordered weakly as he lay flat on his back where he had fallen.

The six Henches that had not run lay slumped around him. Only one of them yet to regain consciousness.

Shego eyed the battered group, and sighed, "Maybe it is time to retire."

For once, the blue loon didn't argue.

He was still moaning.

End…
