Day 2: Cuddling

Most days are long,

Between my schoolwork and magical girl duties,

Time for myself is usually scarce.

But on days like today,

When everything's finished and taken care of,

There's only one thing I want to be doing.

Spending a nice lazy day with Kyoko.

She'll come over and we'll watch a movie together,

But we don't pay too much attention to it.

She'll lay her head on my lap while I stroke her hair,

And she always falls asleep.

She snores too, but it's usually quiet,

I'm not sure if I should feel guilty for expecting otherwise.

When she wakes up a few moments later, she sits up still looking tired,

She's cute when she's like this.

If I didn't know better, I'd never think her dangerous.

But I shouldn't think like that anyway…

I can't help but pull her close once more,

She's so out of it she doesn't even protest.

Instead she hugs me closer, resting her head against my chest.

Most think Kyoko is always the one to take care of me,

And to an extent, they might be right.

But Kyoko doesn't give her love and loyalty away for nothing,

And she certainly wouldn't gamble it blindly all on just anyone.

Because she knows what it's like to lose.

So sometimes words might not be enough,

But at the same time, it doesn't take much to make her feel safe and warm.

Fortunately for Kyoko, I adore her,

And I'll make sure to let her know every chance I get.

But for now…

These are probably too short, but I'm doing them once a day on someone else's computer so I apologize. Some of the future stories will probably be longer, but for topics involving any kind of skin-ship I just can't help but make it fluffy.
