me: shows up three years late w/ starbucks

hi guys, long time no update but I have good news. You know how I said I was never going to update my op pics again? I lied.

I just finished going through this fic. I've edited it & COMPLETED it. Yes, this fic is done with all 101 pages sitting in my word document. I'm going to post a new story with the updated version (and leave this one here for anyone who might like it more).

If anyone wants to beta it, hmu because I could really use some extra eyes.

Some Cool New Things:

-tense is changed in the story

-i deleted everything from ch. 6 onward and rewrote the entire thing. the first few chapters are relatively the same, though

-mostly in Ace's pov so theres a lot of outsiders perspective (writing about the op world from a modern pov is so funny)

-more shattering of the laws of physics (and poor ace's mind)

-other-thatch is no longer going to show up (sorry!). It threw off the dynamic and is just too many characters to keep track of

-changed hiken & mugiwara to Fire Fist and Straw Hat

"So the space pirates can use ESP. Of course. Anything else would be too normal," Thatch says.

Fire Fist gives him a weird look (but damn if Ace doesn't notice his hesitation every time he looks at Thatch). "Space pirates?"

Thatch shrugs. "Space pirates, dimension pirates—"

"I've been to the sky!" Straw Hat says helpfully.

"—sky pirates. Great, keep adding on to the list. Maybe one day we'll actually see you guys sail on a normal ocean."

"We do," Fire Fist insists but Thatch just waves him off.
